Hi there and welcome!
Sometimes people can be wary of newbies until they post a bit since they're nervous about being ghosted but I think mostly it just takes a little bit to catch the eye of someone interested :) We have a good number of members but not enough that things are always answered even within a day. Plus it's the holidays and I find from personal experience even the most hermity among us are often pulled into family celebrations!
