Man that kid is messed up...
Ashke would LOVE him!

Les finished up his shower and brushed his teeth really well before heading back to his room.
Before he even opened the door he could hear a burnt smell and frowned.
Opening the door he sighed, releasing a breath he hadn't realized he'd held.
"Please. Don't burn anything.
I don't have much but I'd like to keep it in tact."
He was dead serious.
The very few things he had on the shelf near his desk were extremely important.
They were a picture of a dog, golden retriever, two pencils signed with marker and an unwrapped piece of watermelon candy.

No, Ashke would avoid him.
He was just... Well, fire not cool.

"I wouldnt burn up belongings unless it's a full house fire.
All I am doing is burning scraps of paper in my pocket."
He pulled out another scrap of paper...
Looked at Les...
And set not the paper, but his own shirt on fire.
"What's wrong with this picture?"

Les's eyes shot open as the kid literally lit himself up.
"Dude?!"
The kid pushed over the other and took his own shirt off.
Using the fabric he smacked at the kid's chest until the flames had gone out.
"J-Jesus kid! The heck?!"
Who the heck would light themselves on fire?!

Lesander quickly leaned over while he had the kid pinned under his backside and fished the lighter out of the boy's pocket.
"Sorry, but your not getting anything flammable."

Louis shrieked when he was pushed over-
Then practically beaten by the other with a shirt.
He kept shrieking until The other had taken his lighter-
At that, he just lay there, breathing in a panicked way.

"G...give it back...
Give me back my lighter!"
He tried to snatch it back.
"Give it back!" he screamed.

"Not a chance crazy idiot! You lit yourself on fire!!"
Les pinned the kid as best he could.
He wasn't a whole lot bigger but at least he was on top.
The lighter was in his back pocket and as soon as he was able to he was gonna get rid of it.
Probably flush it down the toilet.
Yeah.
Good idea.
After a quick shove he bolted from the room, heading towards the bathroom, then a stall.

Louis screamed and tore down the hall after Les-
Actually, he nearly tackled the other, but he landed half a foot too short.
Busted his lip open, but he still got up to hurry after Les.
"Give it back!" he screamed.
If he wasn't psychotic before...
He sure is now.

Jesus this kid was a nutcase!
Lesander caught him as he ran into the stall.
The lighter was just starting to flush down the toilet and he used all his strength to keep the from reaching in to grab it.
"Dude, you seriously need to chill!"
Darnit, was that blood?
Shat.
The kid had fallen and split open his lip then.
"Come on.
Calm down and let me get some stuff to treat your lip."

The arsonist was crying now-
Crying over the loss of his lighter.
"You jerk...my lighter...my lighter..."
More mournful babble and crying.
Very psychotic...
I'd suggest calling a mental hospital ASAP.

He didn't have a cell phone and Ox would probably hit him.
"I'm sorry kid but you lit your darn self on fire."
Les carefully carried the crying boy back to their room and sat down on his bed.
No, he wasn't going to let the kid go yet. That could be dangerous.
"I'm sorry but it's just too dangerous."
He couldn't have his roommate kill himself or light the whole orphanage up.

"I was going to be good...
I was going to be good..." he said, crying.
He was a creeper.
A very creepy creeper.
Seriously,it is probably to best to get him a mental doctor...
Or a straight jacket...
A blue one!

Well, he didn't have any straight jackets left...
"Listen, tomorrow I'll take you out and buy you any kind of food you want, just please calm down."
Geez, to think he would be the trouble maker.
This kid was a walking mess!
Lesander laid down in his bed, wrapping his blanket tightly around the kid to act as a straight jacket.
There we go.
"Let's go to sleep and then tomorrow everything will be fine."

Louis contined to cry softly to himself.
Honestly, quite a baby...
Very baby like indeed.
Anyways, he started struggling when he felt the blanket wrapped around him.
He whimpered and cried more.
All of this...
Over a lighter.

Lesander frowned as the boy started to cry.
"Shhh, not everything is about fire, hun."
Oh god, he sounded like a caregiver.
It almost made him gag.
But he was the reason why the kid was crying so...
"Look. I'm sorry, but I promise I'll find you something much better than a lighter tomorrow, okay?"
There were no more lighters in the room so he hesitantly loosened the blankets around the kid before laying down to try and get some rest himself.
The new kid had made Les so tired he just passed out within moments.

My lighter...
it was all I had that I wanted...

Louis curled into an armadillo like ball.
He felt so vulnerable without that stupid lighter...
It wasn't fair!
Les could have a lighter but not him?
Not fair, not fair, not fair!

Man Lesander could seriously use a cigarette when he woke up but considering he'd taken the kid's lighter he won't use his for now.
Well, it was empty, but still.
With a groan he tossed it across the room before stretching and yawning.
"Gonna go out with me or just stay here all day?
Won't have another chance to go out till next week if you don't go today."
Les sat up sleepily, rubbing at one eye as he glanced down at the new kid.

In response, Louis weaseled his way out from under the covers.
He crawled over to his backpack and rummaged through it-
Clothing! Blue shirt and grey jeans.
He changed his clothes and looked for his shoes and socks.
Ah, right under the bed!
He put them on and then sat by the door.
Looking at Lesander...
he said nothing.

The boy smiled hesitantly and got up.
He didn't bother showering since he had last night so he just pulled on a pair of jeans and a black tank top.
"Alright, let's head out."
Oh.
"Right. There are just a couple rules.
We have to stay together and be home before dark."
He waited for the boy to show some kind of agreement before helping him to his feet and opening the door.
They both signed out and notified Ox, then they were out the doors and heading towards the downtown shops.
"So then.
Anywhere you want to go first? I've got a bit of money if you want.
I know an amazing breakfast place but I'm open to suggestions as well."

Louis was just giving Lesander blank looks-
But he wasn't tryin to be negative about it.
As for somewhere to go...
No, about breakfast.
"...Can we have pancakes...?
I'll pay..."
He dug in his pocket and pulled out...
Five hundred dollars?!
"I think this will cover lunch too..."
Oh, Louis why do you sound so innocent...?
And where did you get the cash?!

The boy's eyes widened at the amount of money.
Well, the kid had just burnt down his house, it was probably money from there.
Either way, no one else would be needing it anything soon anyways.
"Sure. Pancakes it is. Just keep that in your pocket, okay?
Don't want anyone to take that."
He tugged the boy down the street, glad that it was at least a nice day.
They got a few weird stares because his friend was still blue in random places but he ignored them.
After about two blocks he turned into a small mom and pop restaurant and got them a booth.
"This place's pancakes are amazing."
When the waitress came to ask for orders she was a bit apprehensive about serving two kids.
"Chocolate chip pancakes and bacon please. With orange juice."

Mwuahaha, money money money.
Anyways, Louis didn't mind being tugged along-
He did mind the fact that he was being tugged along by Lesander after what he had done to his lighter.
Yes, Louis will be holding a grudge about that.
How long?
Only he knew.
Right, now to order food.
He gave the menu a good look over...
"A small platter of pancakes with strawberry banana french toast-
And I'd like a large glass of sweet tea, please."
He said this as he withdrew two twenties.
"Oh, and two strawberry parfaits for dessert. Thank you."
Man...he was just...like a little snobby rich boy...I'd say he read a lot of Artemis Fowl books and he just acts like him sometimes.
He has the hair for it.
