i dislike using threads but i suppose i should be a teensy bit more flexible. on the off chance that i do, this is just a place to test stuff. nothing you see here is 100% originally mine because i suck at code and i ask people for help fixing whatever i make. i also alter codes, which means they were never mine to begin with, and i will always ask before doing so.
i need help
to better my spidey senses (with divs, mostly)

flex box
display: flex || can be flex-direction of row or column
great for putting things side by side. or if need be, one after the other in the same column. spec was right, this feature is the bomb. flexes need to be in each div, and need a number value because sizing works on a fraction based system thingamajig.

margin
margin: left | right | bottom | top | auto
best used to fiddle with the spacing around a div, ie, lift it up, push it down, etc; idk if that's the actual use but that's what i use it for. property of 'auto' is used to center align the div box.
