Here is a bunch of ideas that popped into my mind whilst playing a video game a while ago! Please pm me if you're interested in any of them!
Under My Protection: As monster attacks are becoming more and more prevalent throughout the kingdom, the queen has saw fit to send her two most trusted castle dwellers into Loki's Forest, where most of the monsters seem to be coming from; Kristrian Duchy, a knight of great renown, and the royal magi. There is not much that scares Kristian; not the dark woods, not that this quest will be going on for who knows how long, not even the fact that the two of them will traipsing right into the center of monster territory. What scares him the most is that he will spending all of that time with the royal magi, who is not only his childhood friend, but the (secret) love of his life. He hopes that his overprotectiveness won't get the best of him. [ KnightxWizard, MXM or MXF ]
A Witch In Waiting: There are tales of a traveling witch who brings both miracles and sorrows in their wake. Her reputation paints her like some sort of mythical being, and you expected some sort of beautiful enchantress or wizened old woman. Certainly not the dirty and uncouth young woman who you found asleep in the garden behind your small herb shop. She's rude, constantly whining, and seems to have no intention of leaving your couch anytime soon. However, her magic is potent, and extremely powerful. Kicking her out seems to be more trouble than its worth, and lately she's begun to drop 'hints' that she's interested in a more than squatter/home owner relationship. [WitchxShopOwner, MxF or FxF]
The Noble Savage: While traveling back to your small cabin after hunting from food, you were attacked by monsters. Nearly overrun by their numbers, you were saved by a savage looking man with a large sword, who disappeared after escorting you back home. Since then, he drops by your house periodically, each time animals he's hunted for you along with the occasional bouquet of flowers. It takes you a while to release that he, in his own way, is attempting to court you. You decide it's time to let him know your answer. [WarriorxHunter, MxM or MxF]
The Dark Lord Is My Boyfriend: You have just defeated the Dark Lord of the realm. Just as you are about to administer your final strike, he claims to have fallen in love with you. He says that he'd been watching you throughout your journey, and has become infatuated with you. He'd intended on perhaps bringing you to his side, but then you came up and kicked his ass so that's out of the question. But since he's defeated and his powers are basically neutered, he's basically harmless so you don't really see the harm in letting him live. Until he turns up on your doorstep and begins following you around like a lost puppy, begging for your affections. [HeroxVillain, MxM or MxF]
