Akon stood, sensing someone near, and stalked to the front if the cave entrance. Not able to see through the rain even with his feline eyes, he was too curious to see what was outside. He lifted his paw and was about to step out... Right onto one of the tripwires.

"That's right.. kitty. One.. more.. step.." Ulrik said with a smirk as he kept his crosshair on the leopards head. He turned his rifle over and looked at the bolt to make sure it was loaded. Nodding with satisfaction he looked through his scope and aimed at the cat.

Akon stepped down, and immediately the trap went into work. He was tripped and landed flat on his stomach, yelping as the wire took off some skin on his knee. Alex and Adrian jumped from their places and ran out to see what happened, Alex tripping since he was in super speed. But Adrian had seen it and stepped over. Squinting through the rain, his eyes widened at the glint of a weapon. "Run!" He shouted to his brother and scooped up Akon as he turned 'human', giving him to Alex so he could run with him, no problem. Adrian would have to run his best, but he ultimately didn't care. As long as the others were safe, Adrian was fine with any version of the outcome.

"That's it little kiddies, run." Ulrik said with a smirk and pulled the trigger, firing his sniper rifle. The surpresser silenced the explosion of the rifle and snuffed the flame but the bullet flew out of the barrel all the same and headed straight for Adrians lower back.

Adrian barely dodged it, just so he wasn't paralyzed, but it did cut deep into his skin. He winced but ran with his brothers until Alex sped up and Adrian was further back. His wound wasn't helping, but the fear of getting more, worded ones, did.

Ulrik reloaded and got up. He ran through his booby traps and knelt on a slope overlooking the brothers. He reloaded and aimed down his sights at them. He saw Adrian with his wound. "He won't last long." He turned to Alex and fired. The bullet flying towards his leg.

Alex fell, screaming out in pain, and dropping Akon roughly beside him. "Alex?" Adrian looked at the two and spun around to face the 'protector'. "Adrian..." Alex murmured weakly. "We have to call out Slain..." "Are you crazy?! I would never summon him!" Adrian whispered back fiercely. Akon sat up. "You have too...it's either that or we all die." Adrian stood a moment but sighed. Brushing away the hair from the symbol on his neck, his eyes glowed red and so did the symbol. "Slain, come, now." Adrian's voice turned truly demonic, with a strange kind of echo. In a few minutes, the trees started to twist up, the grass became extremely long and trampled, and just a certain area turned into what looked like the after-effects of a war. A man stood there, an evil smirk on his almost snow-white face. "Stupid boys. I told you not to play around. Now look at you, your filthy." His voice was deepish, but with the same demonic echo. Adrian glared at him, his eyes back to normal. "Be quiet, Slain.." Adrian sighed and loosened up. ".just help us" Slain turned his attention to the human at the top. "Well, well, well. Aren't you the brave one?"

"The fuck is that?" Ulrik said to himself before firing at the newly arived demon's head. He knew the power of some demons but he hoped as much as he could that the bullet would pierce this demons skull and kill it.

Slain stood still and in a split second took out his weapon. A sickle, with a chain attached to the tip of top corner of the blade with a heavy weight at the bottom (Kusarigama). Swinging the weight, he hit the bullet right on target, knocking it into the rock. It started to crack dangerously under the human's feet. "My turn?" He took off the red cloth from around his shoulder so two wings came out. He jumped off one foot and flew up until he landed gingerly on the crumbling earth. With a smirk, Slain swung the weight and whipped out, wrapping it around the human's arm which held the gun's base, and pulled on the chain to immobilize it. Slain then struck out with his sickle and went for the weakest part on the stomach.

"Oh you're going to be fun." Ulrik said returning the smirk and showing no fear. He dove between the demons legs and took out one of his knives and stabbed it into the demons left thigh since his right arm was imobilized. Protectors were trained to rely on their speed and agility rather than a frontal assault.

Slain's smirk just got wider. "Stupid human. Don't you know once a demon has stems they can't be killed by anything but silver?" He tore out the knife from his thigh, it still bled for a few seconds before healing. "But thanks for the advantage." He stepped down hard on the human's chest, and quickly lifting it after making sure it was painful, and struck at the spot his foot once was.

Ulrik growned in pain and coughed up blood, which trailed out of the corner of his lip. His smirk too, had gotten wider. He spoke softly as he was weakened. "Yeah.. I know.. I was just waiting for a good place to hit you with it." He flicked his wrist and a small hidden blade made of silver emerged, he stabbed the demon in his ankle with the blade, piercing through the foot.

Slain slightly yelped and pulled away from the blade. This time, his foot didn't stop bleeding. "You'll pay for that." He jumped into the air and kicked the human as he stood up, so he landed roughly on the crumbling ground. The earth started to shake, and soon larger pierces were falling, making it sway violently.

Ulrik blinked confusingly as the ground started to shake violently. He looked for a quick escape. "Bones or crumbling hill." He said to himself. "Bones heal." He said before jumping off of the hill.

Slain smiled victoriously and landed on the steady ground beneath, wrapping the red cloth around his shoulders and slipping back his wings to cover them. As he tucked in the cloth to keep it from falling he approached the human, but had slipped away his weapon. "Do you give up? Or will I have to finish you? Either way, I don't mind." A smirk stay cemented on his lips. The bastard was enjoying to see the human in pain.

Ulrik groaned in pain and held his leg. His fall had broken his leg and he couldn't fight very well. Now was the time to retreat, he slowly struggled to his feet and limped away to fight another day.

"Good choice." He returned to three, the same condescending smirk stuck on his face. "Well, now. I couldn't find you three. Master's taking you home, now, got it?" Slain's had a tone of intimidation in it, that no one would want to go against. The triplets looked at each other with a sigh and dropped their heads in defeat. "Really. This island isn't for us, leave it to the idiots who are still trying to defeat so many guardians." He scoffed. "Morons, they are. Time to go?" "Whatever." Growled Adrian, while Alex and Akon sat silently obedient.

Ulrik limped back to the house and bandaged himself up. He ached all over and applied some morphine to stop the pain but it would take a while before it would start the process. He climbed into his pod and closed the lid and drifted to sleep.
