Iwaku's Sunday Tunes - A plug.dj Event!

Greetings, Iwaku people!

We are introducing a new bimonthly event, Iwaku's Sunday Tunes! It will happen on the wonderful music-sharing site, plug.dj! It will be held every second and fourth Sundays of the month, with the dates available down here!

Sharing music with friends or with people you just met can be super fun, but even MORE so when we have themes! For example, a theme could be "Battle songs", or even "Anime songs", or even still something silly like "Earworm songs". For the first event, we decided on the theme already since it's a little short notice -- but please, feel free to suggest themes!! They'll be selected at random (provided they're reasonable and inclusive themes, something like "Best My Chemical Romance songs" would not be inclusive) so be sure to post all your ideas :)

Please note that this link is for Iwaku members, and we invite you to use your Iwaku username! Staff members and interns will be identified with "host" roles. Everyone can make playlists and use the DJ option, or you can just listen in! The importance is to follow the theme :)

Thanks to everyone who showed up! Once again, we were a nice little crowd and played musicals for over FIVE HOURS and less than 10 Disney songs were played hahahaha

Basically, any song(s) you listened in high school, or is about high school! Different ages also mean different years for music, so I can already feel there's gonna be a lot of variety! :D

August 20: Hidden gems
Song that aren't making it to the top billboards but that totally should! Great opportunity to share indie music or new and old artists not often heard of.
