Name: Inquisitor Vakarian Locke

Race/Class/Type: Human Inquisitor

Faction: Independent, friendly with the Order of the Luna Ashe

Appearance:
m1184250_99111399006_INQEisenhornMain_445x319.jpg

Normal Equipment: Bolt Pistol, Inquisitorial Rosette

Special Equipment: Daemon Sword (Val'nirak)

General Abilities: Inquisitor Locke is a Silver Tongued devil, Charismatic to the extreme, he's capable of making anyone believe all but the most outrageous of lies, and much of his success as an inquisitor is due in no small part to this.

Special Abilites: Locke is also a hereitc against the God-Emperor, and a follower of Chaos Undivided, his manipulative abilities were granted by the Ruinous powers themselves

Weaknesses: Silver Tongued Trickster that he is, He can't lie that his body is aging, he's nowhere near as young as he once was, and his body has taken the years poorly at best, his age allows him to exert himself for very sparse and short bursts, before giving out.

Origin: Inquisitor Locke came to Iwaku for many purposes, he was chasing the Renegade Grandmaster Karsikan, and also saw a World Ripe for Conquest in the name of Chaos. His goals are simple, to Bring Iwaku under his heel.

Name: Magos Militant Pratus Akadia

Race/Class/Type: Human Techpriest

techpriest.jpg

Special Equipment:
Wrist Guns, Pratus uses a pair of Twin-Linked Wrist mounted Hellpistols for self defense.
Mechandrites, Pratus utilizes one optical and two Manipulator Mechandrites for his Duties.

General Abilities: Pratus is a master craftsman, given time and materials he can create just about anything he desires, due to this he has had many issues within the Adeptus Mechanus. he has a vast knowledge of all forms of technology, both human and otherwise.

It's worth mentioning that although he is not a Grey Knight, they treat him as one of their brothers, and he returns the honor in kind.

Special Abilites: Being a priest of mars has it's benefits; He doesn't need to eat, sleep, drink, or excrete, Only plug himself in to a power source when away from a natural one for prolonged periods (such as sunlight) in addition to power over technology

Weaknesses: Even being a Techpriest isn't all good, People unfamiliar with the Cult Mechanus run in terror from him, and his bulk does tend to put a damper on things, His mechanical body can perform fine motor movements flawlessly but acts of agility and athleticism are lost on Pratus, He is also Callous, Intolerant, and Downright Obsessive when the spark of creation comes to him.

Origin: Pratus has worked with the Inquisition most of his Career, finding that their goal were not dissimilar from one another, he became Oath Bonded to the Grey Knights through that, his skill with technology allowed them to do far more than before, and further discoveries, should they have proven useful to the Grey Knights, were immediately incorporated. He came with Inquisitor Vakarian to Iwaku to Re-discover Lost Technology, and perhaps talk some sense into that hot-headed Grandmaster

Faction: Independant

Appearance:
180px-Grey_Knight.png

Normal Equipment: (anything without magical/holy/advanced qualities)

Special Abilites: Like all Grey Knights, Kalthanos is a psyker, Though nowhere near the level of a Grandmaster, He, like many Grey Knights, chose Pyromancy as his favored discipline.

Weaknesses: Kalthanos suffers the Psyker's Curse, like any other psyker he risks Death, posession or tearing the veil between the warp and the real world whenever he uses his powers.

He also lacks confidence in his leadership abilities and tactical knowledge, he hasn't quite learned how to use his squad to be the best they can and his performance shows.

Origin: Kalthanos was part of the team Inquisitor Vakarian put together to Track down Karsikan, the inquisitor was either ignorant or apathetic to Kalthanos and Karsikan's previous history, a young justicar mentored by the then Chaplain.

General Abilities: (anything you can do in normal everyday reality, like today)<o:p></o:p>
-Guile<o:p></o:p>
-Talented close-quarters fighter specializing in hand to hand, batons, and blades.<o:p></o:p>
-Above average marksmanship with handguns.<o:p></o:p>

Special Abilites: <o:p></o:p>
Modified A.R.C. Commlink- Basically really advanced cellphone. A token of goodwill from her uncle. Really a means of keeping tabs on her.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
Lower Meta-Human Physical Condition – Events in her past have left her very conscious about what she eats. In any world, a healthy diet and frequent exercise has its benefits. But what happens when you incorporate foods from other worlds with herbal ingredients that can be made into magical healing potions and similar things? The result is that she’s practically a mutant. Her bones and muscle are denser and more powerful, her circulatory system more efficient. As a result, at her best, Rumi’s body operates slightly above the known limits of normal human potential.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
Unpolished Reality Bender - She can only access this semi-consciously. During moments of extreme motivation, she can control some, but not all, aspects of this power. Her subconscious mind passively bends her surrounding reality to alter physical forces and variables in her vicinity. Things move faster or slower, break more easily or prove more resilient, recover more quickly or more slowly depending on her mood or expectations. Like any other form of reality bending, it can’t completely trump the narrative laws, more often simply coinciding with them. It can and does work against her. Summarily her successes are often literally spectacular and her failures tend to have an absurdly mean-spirited edge to them.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>

I expect some worry over this, so I’ll attempt clarification. This power is mainly intended to justify some stylistic choices I intend to make. Sort of like a Confluence bubble, but one that encourages special effects that help or hinder. And unlike the previous portrayals of Confluence, this one can enhance her enemies’ performance against her. :P

Weaknesses: <o:p></o:p>
-Human/Mortal. She’s more “action movie human” but human none the less. She can die, and her durability decreases with fatigue. <o:p></o:p>
-Despite what she says, Rumi is still dealing with the past. She has several unresolved issues, which WILL get her into trouble. <o:p></o:p>
-Her reality bending is limited to augmentation(no creation of mass) and lacks perfect control, sometimes acting against her to slow down Rumi herself or strengthen her opponents. <o:p></o:p>
-Some culture shock from living outside of Iwaku. <o:p></o:p>
-Tenuous relationship with uncle—ranging from benefactor to antagonist. Obligation to protect her younger cousin.

Origin: <o:p></o:p>
Rumi was born to Bread Cultist who were active during the war. For some reason she’s still alive and has only recently returned to Iwaku just before the Noob Invasion. For the past couple of months she’s been living with relatives—one of whom was a former scientist and architect for the A.R.C. Of course there’s some tension between them, but both have their reasons for dealing with the other. She claims to be interested in finally dealing with the past and showing she can move on like everyone else.

When Diana is hailed as The Hero, one of Rumi’s cousins becomes an instant fangirl and goes to join Luna Ashe. Rumi’s relatives are shocked when Rumi cheerfully encourages her and volunteers herself to act as a bodyguard for her younger cousin, Bertie. This won’t end poorly.:P<o:p></o:p>

Though she observes virtually none of their customs, Rumi, for some odd reason carries a few sentimental reminders/indicators of her bread cult past—something that bothers her relatives and some strangers on occasion.

Dammit my server reset! Ok, let's try this again.

Name: TZS (X9000 Remote Drone)

Race/Class/Type: Mechine/AI/Rouge System

Alliance: The Viridian Guard

Appearance: A titanium sphere roughly the size of a billiards ball with one bright green lens functioning as an optic sensor ringed by a two mm speaker (hiding an audio sensor) and criss crossed by hatch lines. All four spider-like legs extended she stands a maximum three meters tall, but usually walks at about one and a half.

Equiptment: Four legs, a double headed screwdriver, 9000 volt proximity tazer, a canopener, a green lazer pointer, welding torch, three cm buzz saw, and cork screw; all miniture and retractable, as well as a small hatch containing a basic humanoid survival kit including water proof matches, a needle, fishing hook and line, a razor blade, and a one ouce but 3000 calorie protien bar.

Abilities: She slices! She dices! Completely zombie proof and an excellent conversationalist, the TZS X9000 is the perfect traveling companion for the daring adventurer! Any function you can concieve of using the included tools for, and now with no pesky Asimov restrictions! Call now! Allmajorcreditcardsaccepted.

Weaknesses: Being no kind of waterproof TZS is a touch hydrophobic. Her RAM was damaged so her attention span is not what it used to be, and having a Lithium Polymer battery she is sesative to extrame temperatures; temperatures below 30F will kill her battery, temperatures above 140F will rupture her cells. She is also highly allergic to magic and reality bending; prolongued exposure causes her to vomit fish hooks out her storage hatch. Also, repeated use of her tazer and saw drain her battery and force her into a hibernation cycle to recharge.

Origin: TZS believes she was originally created by Gabriel- or he was the first owner she can recall- but an unfortunate incident involving a river, wet moss on rocks and gravity left her damaged and she was left for irreparable. After drying out and recharging she took to wandering, looking for a warm dry pocket and someone she could be useful to. She isn't sure how long she has been in Iwaku as she looses time when she shuts down to recharge, but she estimates about thirty five years.

[BG="lightgray"]MiNiTech Pro™ Personal Data Analysis Device and Project Assistant

This pocket-sized arcano-electric device collects, analyzes and reproduces meta-information on any input it receives from the user, be it a real-world object or an abstract concept. The new MiNiTech Pro™, combined with our patented Mattenergy Drive, allows the MiNiTech to create highly believable holo-physio-graphic projections of any object or organism, so long as enough data on the subject has been collected, and enough sunlight has been stored in the battery bank. The MiNiTech now also includes advanced psychronometric simulation capabilities, which combines physical and environmental readings (i.e. temperature, brain waves, air currents and humidity) with its advanced correlative software to produce a rough timeline of all events, past and present, related to the object/sentient organism it is aimed at, along with an indicator of estimated accuracy. As always, the MiNiTech improves its accuracy each time the user takes new environmental readings and adds them to its database.

By popular demand, the electro-organic distortion field capability and long-range capsule guidance system have been restored in this model of the MiNiTech Pro, and ten (10) complimentary "SpyBot" telemetry probes have been included. Order yours today, from the state-licensed research supplier nearest you!

DISCLAIMER: Use of the MiNiTech Pro in predicting future events beyond the five-minute range is not recommended. The MiNiTech Pro is intended for use in research purposes only.
tricorder-2360.jpg
[/BG]

General Abilities:
Logical Processor. Char highly values reason, logic and intellect, and has self-trained these skills to the highest capacity. He views any obstacle as a simple problem-solving exercise, and enjoys methodically crafting long-term strategies to overcome such obstacles. He is able to detect planning flaws with high accuracy and correct them as needed.
Social Ingratiation. Char makes frequent efforts to be friendly without prejudice to all those around him. He likes to volunteer for errands and other simple tasks to help others - perhaps in an attempt to curry favor. Though shy, he is polite to a fault, and his actions make him seem reliable and trustworthy.

Special Abilites:
Spacetime Hacking. Char's arcano-scientific specialty is "psychronometry," or a detailed understanding of the way that matter, space and time intertwine and interact. This knowledge, together with his solar-powered MiNiTech device, allows him to program and create detailed holograms that can be seen, heard and felt. However, the larger the hologram, the more complex programming and sunlight energy it requires, so anything larger than a small animal (say, a puppy) is highly unstable and difficult to create. Also, although these holograms can be felt, they are not physically the same as the real items they simulate - instead, they are usually weak, thin, empty shells, and often subject to bugs due to incomplete data.
Chronometrics. The MiNiTech also lets Char run complex simulations of worldly events, which can help decipher what has happened in the past or present (even from a great distance), and to a very limited extent, what possibilities exist for the future.
Alchemical Transubstantiation. After taking an introductory course in alchemical studies, Char has begun developing basic material-transformation skills. By carefully drawing particular symbols with his pen and compass, he can transform matter from one form to another. For now, this capability is extremely limited - the highest feat he has achieved is the transformation of a small cup of water into ice.

Weaknesses:
Energy Costs. Char's hardware and technology require high amounts of energy to operate, and this energy must come from direct sunlight. If he is unable to collect sunlight to power his equipment, he is mostly powerless. As his creations become larger or more complex, they require extreme amounts of energy storage which can take a long time to gather.
In Beta. Char's technological methods are unstable prototypes. As such, they are subject to frequent errors, faulty readings, manipulation by others, or even complete breakdown.
Faulty Memory. Similarly, his very mind has been corrupted by his dependence on technology, leading to lapses of memory of variable severity.
Poor Human Interface. Dependent as he is on technology to interpret his world, Char is inarticulate. Although he tries to be friendly, he is neither quick-witted nor clever. He is usually very reserved in public, as a result of his tendency to overanalyze everything he wants to say rather than just saying it. His silent manner may also hide ulterior motives.

Origin:
Char was raised and educated on an entirely different world, one devoid of magic and arcane arts. He discovered and emigrated to Iwaku as a young adult, as he was pursuing a psychoscientific study on an interesting subject. He decided to stay in order to further study the unique trans-scientific characteristics of that new world, and the possibilities it raises for further expanding his understanding of the nature of the universe. What he didn't expect was that he would begin finding himself entagled in life- and plot-lines belonging to other Iwaku inhabitants, lines which even logic and reason, the basis of his power, may be too feeble to overcome...

Name: Soledad Noctua

Race/Class/Type: Wereowl, with a good amount of hijacker in her blood.

Faction: The Order of Luna Ashe.

Appearance:
CS__Virago_by_Stregatto10.jpg

Normal Equipment:

Sickles, Comm-link, leather gloves

Special Equipment:

Transformation talisman worn around her neck.*

General Abilities:

Acrobatic.
Martial Artist.
Stealth.
Smooth Talker.
Poker Face.
Espionage.
Tactician.
Enhanced hearing and sensation of touch.**
Navigating.

Special Abilites:

Transformation***
True to tradition, Soledad spends one week out of every month as an owl. She can use her talisman to transform into a human, temporarily, during this time. She can also use the talisman to transform into her owl form outside of her cycle.

Dimensional Paths****
Soledad can form tears in the dimensional fabric in which to travel. However, Soledad must be very focused when performing this, as she could easily end up anywhere.

Weaknesses:
Soledad is weaker during the daylight hours, her senses a little duller. She is also sensitive to certain sound frequencies.

*When Soledad uses her talisman to transform outside the natural cycle it takes a considerable amount of energy to maintain.
**Far-sighted and nearly blind, Soledad is dependent on her enhanced hearing and sensitivity to the vibrations produced by living and inanimate things in order to ‘see.’
***When in her owl form, she she cannot use her dimensional paths.
****Soledad can take a large group through any of the tears she makes in the dimensional fabric, but at a great cost to her strength.

Origin:

Since the day she was born, Soledad knew nothing but fighting. Such was the life of a child with n00b blood during the bloodiest days of the Admin War.

Her memories of that time are of course faded, but there is one memory that gleams brightly in her mind. It was the day her momma changed, became quiet, looked at her as if she barely knew her own daughter.

That’s when her momma taught her entirely different ways to fight. She learned how move quickly and quietly, graceful and and deadly. She learned how to pretend to be someone else. How to not show pain. How to play with words. Things her momma never ever talked about before.

That’s why she was hardly surprised when she woke up one day to find her mother gone, left in the night.

And just like that, Soledad was an orphan in the Admin War.

It wasn’t until much later that Soledad would meet the most wonderful woman.

Soledad acts as a Laissez-faire diplomate and advisor for the Order. However, she shadow-commands a troupe of mysterious veiled women. (Further info on this troupe will be posted in Fluff, soon.)

Name: Kestrel

Race/Class/Type: Human/Warrior-the full mail sort

Faction: To be determined.

Appearance: A tall woman with long black hair held up in a bun. She stands a good 6'2" (Enormous for a woman!!!), and has a very masculine physique. Her eyes are green, and the face around them contradicts her body, being soft and feminine. She weighs in at a good 200lbs without her armor, twice as much with, but doesn't have much more than 2% body fat-if that.

Normal Equipment: Full platemail. Covers all of her body, except the eye slit.

Special Equipment: Krytchen's Blade - A broadsword imbued with the dark powers of the goddess Krytchen.

General Abilities: Skilled combatant, can hunt rather well, and could in effect be a mildly profitable tactician.

Special Abilites: Godspeak. She can talk to her Goddess.

Weaknesses: Anything Holy, or pretty much any magiks, ranged weapons - Anybody with a gun larger than a standard hunting rifle could take her with one shot. Other women (in the story I wrote she's a lesbian!). Her speed.

Origin:
In the vein of my original character, Fel, she was transported into Iwaku when her world was destroyed. It was an alternate, if closely related world to his, and in fact the two were of three worlds that trancended realities and destroyed themselves. Her later date of arrival is inexplicable, but then, when you're being transported through time wildly, where isn't the only variable.

Name: Ramses Abraxas a.k.a Ramses the Damned

Race/Class/Type: Human (presumably)

Faction: Independent, but with ties to the Order of Luna Ashe

Appearance:
imRIa6APbbIumbXXe6uTzcnw==.jpg

The only feature readily discernible from his disguise is his above average height. Standing several inches above six feet, his stature and strong, thick build could have belonged to a past king or lord. With his broad, square shoulders and cloaked figure, he can be an intimidating sight to behold.

Normal Equipment:The Damned’s possessions are precious and few. They consist almost solely of his set of off-white robes and an extremely innocuous wooden long staff, without feature or adornment, that is perfectly straight and almost equal to him in length. His outer cloak is quite heavy and covers him almost completely from head to foot, complete with a hood. It is very worn and aged looking, and is open at the sides to allow him freedom in moving his arms. Under this he wears another, lighter full-body robe that is virtually identical to the other, although in much better condition and made of a softer, more silken material.
The only other item in his possession is a long, curved dagger he keeps hidden within the folds of his robe.

Special Equipment:The Iblis Sphere; a mysterious relic containing a fragment of his very soul. It is, as its name suggests, a perfect sphere, about the size of a grapefruit. Its outermost shell is transparent, giving it the appearance of a crystal ball. Inside can be seen a swirling mass of smoky vapor that glows perpetually with a soft light. (See Special Abilities for more information)

General Abilities:For his entire existence, the one known as Ramses Abraxas has been a quiet observer of both people and events. He is skilled at remaining unnoticed, only stepping into the light when the situation requires him to. He carefully examines and evaluates whatever is before him, silently assessing it on every possible level. Given time and the advantage of secrecy, he can discover the essential driving factors and flaws behind a person. Reserving action for the exact right moment, he only gives away his presence to exploit a critical weakness or take advantage of a fortuitous turn of events, pushing others to take whatever action might lead to the most desirable outcome.
Derived from his habit of lurking in the shadows and taking in his surroundings is an eye for detail and a shrewd sense of judgment. Both of these traits enable him to manipulate other people and maintain the air of inscrutable secrecy that is vital to the way he operates. He also possesses an extensive, though at times selective, memory of the details he has observed, making him a living database of sorts, as well as a valuable source of information to whomever might obtain his allegiance.

Special Abilites:Through the Iblis Sphere, Ramses the Damned can channel astral essences, otherwise known as a souls or spirits, allowing him to harness their energy for various effects. Usually, he utilizes the Sphere to partake of the soul essences of others and even inanimate objects. This preserves a fragment of that persons personality, memories, and history within the Sphere. Ramses can summon forth these fragments from the sphere at a later time, projecting them in an ephemeral form that can briefly become corporeal if he has the strength to will it be so.
Since the sphere contains a fraction of his own essence, he can use its powers to project his consciousness beyond the physical reality his body occupies and into other realms and levels of existence. He has little to no power to effect things in this form, but through this technique he can potentially communicate with and borrow power from beings and entities in other dimensions.

Weaknesses: The Iblis Sphere, while extremely useful in preserving knowledge and history, is not an object of immense power. The constructs conjured by it can be destroyed by someone with sufficient mastery over the kinds of energy involved in its processes. The physical form of the sphere itself is not particularly durable, and can be broken with a relatively small amount of force. Were this to happen, The Damned would experience a great deal of both bodily and spiritual agony, as the part of his soul contained in the sphere would be greatly damaged, requiring a fair amount of time to reconstitute and reintegrate itself with the whole. To safeguard against this, he keeps it on or near his person at all times.

Origin:

In a time before the fall of Moonwings, Ramses Abraxas was one of many to call the kingdom home and take advantage of its sanctuary. He came there as a wanderer, broken and in search of peace. Who or what he was before that is unknown, even to him. He might have been a hero once, but that has long since ceased to be a part of his destiny. Having decided it was not his purpose to stand in the limelight, he instead chose to stay in the periphery, observing important figures and events and learning from them whatever he could. It could be said that this is his curse, to be aware of the great scheme but to have only a limited role in it. Perhaps that is why he is called “the Damned”. Perhaps there is a deeper, darker reason. He does not know or remember. He does not want to.
As the kingdom began to collapse, Ramses took his leave quietly amid the rampant chaos, once more returning to wander alone through forgotten places. First, however, he concentrated all that he had seen, heard, and experienced within Moonwings into a single, compact reliquary. Along with his own impressions, he gathered other lost voices and thoughts that otherwise would have perished with Moonwings, hoping to preserve them forever. The result of this endeavor was the Iblis Sphere, which he carried with him on his journey into the vast emptiness beyond the walls of old Moonwings.

After years of trekking through the wilderness and wastelands, he at last came to a stop in the deserts of Iwaku, a place he knew had once existed adjacent to Moonwings. This place seemed devoid of all hope, however, as insanity and chaos reigned over its lands. Weary and disheartened, Ramses decided he would enter a state of deep sleep, hopefully to reawaken one day and find a different world. He imparted a fragment of his own soul to the Iblis Sphere with the command to remain aware of the world outside the cave where he laid himself to rest, and to wake him if any great change occurred.
The next thing he remembers is a voice. A voice like his own and yet eerily different that said “She has returned…” Awoken after an indeterminable period of time, Ramses strode out into the harsh, glaring sun knowing that the heart and soul of Moonwings had returned to bring peace where once there had been only disorder. Hopeful once again after so long, he started on his way to the capitol.
Unknown to him because of his urgency, however, was the fact that he had not awoken as the same man. Something had changed. A part of himself had been amputated, and it had not returned to him in the same condition as when he excised it from himself. What this means… no one can say for sure.

[We'll see how this plays out - Asmodeus]

Before the from the warp subplot gets underway its going to need its main antagonist.

Name: Vay

Race/Class/Type: Daemon prince

Faction: Word Bearers (Independent trans-dimension faction, see From out of the Warp sub plot)

Appearance: Topping off at fifty feel tall The quills that once sat atop Vay's head now run most of the way down his back being longest on the head and progressively shorter. His face of still that of a kroot only with the beak replaced by razor sharp serrated teeth. His torso and limbs are far more human that they were in proportion though his clawed feet have grown to make up for his increased size and the claws on his have elongated to serrated talons.

Normal Equipment: Armour gifted by the Word Bearers (will only be acquired after the formation of a warp gate) consisting of shoulder pads, grieves and bracers painted dark red and gold. A large ornate axe also to be gifted by the Word bearers.

Special Equipment:

General Abilities: Immensely strong and able to move relatively quickly despite his large size.

Special Abilites: The daemon possessed minor magical gifts allowing Vay to guide the formation of rifts between dimensions (but not create them) and summon the unpredictable power of the warp in the form of lightning-like arks of sizzling energy. This will only work in areas close to the warp or other kind on dimensional anomalies as being separated from the warp robs the daemon of the source of his magic.

Weaknesses: Relies on a connection to the warp to renew his special abilities without one there he must rely of physical strength alone.

Origin:
During the invasion sparked by the careless acts of Mizdogg Vay was a Kroot that fought against the spiders alongside the forces of the barship. During the shattering of the mirror and the turbulence that followed the daemon that whispered into him mind escaped into Iwaku and Took near complete control of the xeno transforming him into a hybrid of living being and daemon, a daemon prirce or great power in order to pave the way for the conquest of Iwaku by its chaos allies.

Expeditionary force will arrive once vay has stabled the rift:

Warband of 100 Chaos space marines to hold the gate and conduct raids, with them are heavy weapons and the small number of vehicles that managed to come through the rift.
Around 150 cultists most of which will infiltrate the civilians of Iwaku spreading discord and recruiting new members though 50 will stay to hold the rift open.
20 beastmen, daemons of no particular alignment similar in shape and power of werewolves to be used as trackers by the Marines.

These forces owe no personal loyalty to Vay, the marine resent the fact they had to make a pact with daemons in order to get to Iwaku and the Daemons look down on him for his mortal origins. They only obey him because of his strength and prior agreement the Word bearers will try to gain full control of the invasion once it gets onto full swing.

Name: Mistress Cerius Kelia

Race/Class/Type: Veskirty (Psyker)

Faction: Independent
Appearance:
2168380672

http://www.flickr.com/photos/starfeeder/2168380672/ (In case the picture doesn't show)
6’7
235 lbs.

Normal Equipment:

PowerKnife: A long curved knife with a small energy barrier that causes it to cut materials much more easily.

Combat Armor: An interlocking armor of metal plates that are infused with the same sort of barrier as the PowerKnife, but which vibrates at a different frequency.

Basalisk: An oversized sixshooter that is the bastard child of a grenade launcher and a .45.

Special Equipment: (anything that relies on magical/holy/advanced abilities)

Enhancement Coil: A small golden shaft of metal with a miniature claw clutching a glass sphere. The Coil is used to enhance and direct Kelia’s Psychic Powers.

SRETD (Short Ranged Enhanced Teleportation Device): A small device allowing Kelia to move up to three hundred yards from her current position. Recharging forces her to dump part of her psychic energy reserve into it, and let it cool down for half an hour.

General Abilities: (anything you can do in normal everyday reality, like today)
Knife Fighter: While her body is unwieldy, she is quite good with a knife, especially when enhanced with her psychic powers.

Hunter: Kelia is a master at hunting people and animals, and excels in tracking; her heightened senses due to her powers only enhance this ability.

Special Abilities: (anything that relies on magic, holy power, advanced technology)

Psychic Force: Kelia’s psychic abilities allow her great control over her surroundings. She can do things from pyrotechnics to telekinesis to Cyrotechnics. Her ability is only limited by her knowledge and amount of energy she can control.

Psychic Capacity: Kelia can hold vast amounts of Psychic power, but only for so long.

Psychic Drain: Kelia can force her body into someone, usually her hand, and drain the psychic powers within them. This can cause her great pain, and possible backlash.

Heightened Senses: Kelia psychic powers and species give her senses much stronger than the normal human being.
Healing: Kelia is able to quicken the process by which one is healed, it causes both her, and the one which she is healing, to feel all that pain within the span of a few minutes.

Future Sight: Kelia is also able to see glimpses of the future. This process is done much in the same way her Psychic Drain is, though it carries a risk to both parties, and causes traumatic amounts of pain.

Weaknesses: (YOU MUST HAVE PROPER WEAKNESSES!)

Physical Shape: Her own physical condition puts her at a disadvantage in combat and running, as neither can be easily performed while her height offers her greater reach, she does not have the strength to lift her own body weight without assistance.

Psychic Overload: If her body is overloaded with energy she will go into a sort of rage, letting off the energy any way she can. Suffice to say there is usually not much left nearby when she is done, and she is usually near death.

Psychic Dependency: If too much of her reserves are used in one moment, she goes into a sort of withdrawal. With her raving, randomly attacking people, and sometimes having short-term memory loss until her reserves are build back up.

Channeling Power: While Kelia’s ability to channel vast amounts of psychic energy is better than most, she is more easily susceptible to losing control of it as she reaches her peak capacity. When such an event occurs she will either have something akin to a Psychic overload, or she will go through a period of immense pain as the power leaches out through her body and into the surroundings.

Sanity: At times Kelia’s sanity seems to be in doubt. She will occasionally have waves of insanity in which she may cause great amounts of pain to herself and others, or where she may just curl up in a ball and scream.
Origin:
Born into a rich scientific family in the Keristra Astroid Belt, Kelia lived a confortable and educational life for the first 8 years of her being. It was then that her father discovered her psychic potential, and made it his goal to destroy the natural blockers on her power. He succeeded, though it came at a horrible price. The entire Science facility was shattered, and everyone but Kelia dead as a result. She herself still had the mind of a child, and could not control herself. As she grew older, as her body changed into what it is now, she learned to harness her abilities.

Well over three hundred years went by, and she was to find herself hunting down other Psykers, showing them how to use their powers, and when necessary, taking the power from them completely. During one of these instances she absorbed too much, and had to let off the powers in a violent form. When she found herself under control again, she looked around, finding people celebrating the ‘Hero’.

Name: Akiko Yaguchi

Race/Class/Type: Spiritualist/Spiritfolk

Faction: Independent

Appearance:

Outfit:

Normal Equipment: A set of kyudo equipment
ea816c110132251638a146dfd35b3d5e8e6bd5e4.jpg
A change of clothes

Special Equipment: a small bento box that magically produces a fresh meal each time it is opened

General Abilities:
Archer - Akiko is a very skilled archer both on her feet and on a moving object, whether that is horseback, on an airship or other, she has minimal difficulty shooting moving targets as well.

Keen Eye - Akiko has very sharp vision and the brainpower to back it, making her very observant, noting the smallest changes in scenes and can read people fairly well.

Special Abilities:
Spiritfolk - Being a spirit she can interact with the spirit plane and can drift between the spirit realm and the "real" world easily. When in the true realm she is tangible and can interact and be interacted with. If she is "killed" in the real world she is simply dispersed and finds herself back in the spirit realm, unable to return to the natural realm for 48 hours.

Spiritual Arrows - Akiko is almost a living embodiment of the energy source "ki" and thus she can imbue her arrows with such energy, adding an extra kick to them and making them able to pierce even thick metal. The sight of a ki arrow is very distinct, the arrow is wrapped in a white-purple light that streaks along the arrow making it very distinct.

Weaknesses:

Otherworldy - Akiko, as a spirit has trouble relating to "normal" society so she may say things that come off as flighty or strange.

Flicker - At times Akiko will flicker from the real realm and it will give her a very ghostly image, it tends to creep others out and if it happens when she is firing an arrow it will completely throw off her shot. This problem is because of her tie to the spirit realm shifting so she has a constant anchor without she could not transfer between the worlds.

Disrupted - If "killed" her spiritual energy will be dispersed and she will take quite some time to pull herself back together, during this time her conciousness is retained in the spirit realm in the form of a wisp, during this time she cannot interact with anyone outside the spirit realm and it isn't difficult to put her into this form.

Origin:
Hearing the cries of the mortal realm Akiko was awakened, at first she took the form of the wisp, gathering information from the mortal thoughts lost in the spirit realm until she finally formed a body of her own. It took many years of training herself to finally be able to spend her first few moments in the realm of Iwaku, at first for only a brief second, lending her to becoming a ghost story in some areas amongst the populous of normal Iwaku who caught glimpses of her appearance. Eventually she was able to control her new "body" and spend indefinite amounts of time in Iwaku unless she is dispersed, which happened on more occasions then she'd like to admit. For now she seeks to be an observer, detatched from the happenings of Iwaku or possibly have an unseen hand in the events. Recently she has been spending her time in a small tea shop she had created in the depths of Anirune Forest.

Name: Celcius

Race/Class/Type: Ice Apparition // Scout Mage // Water and Ice

Faction: Currently, Independent

tos-summon-celsius.jpg

Normal Equipment:
oe18_dagger.jpg

Special Equipment:
GolemIceCycle.png

A sickle that freezes the surface of anything contacts as long as Celcius holds and wills it to. To anyone else, it's merely an oddly shaped sickle.

General Abilities:
Acrobatics: very agile and dexterous, so as to be able to perform great acrobatic feats
Cold immunity: as an ice apparition, she's immune to the effects of cold
Survival 101: Celcius knows basic first aid and cooking skills to survive in the wilderness as long as she needs
Farsight: Celcius has great eyesight and can see quite far, even in blizzards.

Special Abilites:
Mizu no Mai: Celcius can manipulate and control water in any of its stages
Aquifer: Celcius can create water where there is none, but it takes a while to successfully create enough to use effectively
Floodplains/avalanche: in a last ditch effort to defeat an enemy, Celcius can instantly flood a target area of a square mile with a twenty foot tall wave of water or snow, but will fall unconscious as soon as the attack is over, whether the attack connects or not
Soul Rebirth: Though Celcius' body is quite young, her soul is ancient. Unless the soul itself is damaged beyond repair, it will create a new body around itself in another place.

Weaknesses:
Heat susceptibility: Celcius can't tolerate constant temperatures over 80*F without high danger of heat stroke
Flame/lightning/wind weakness: Celcius' ice attacks are weak to flame, water to lightning, and vapor to wind
Lack of strength: Celcius may be quick, but she lacks physical strength

Celcius originally isn't a soul from the land of Iwaku. She listened to the call that King Gabriel sent out from another land and her soul tore away to fly to his side. King Gabriel guided her for a while until she could stand on her own. She lived in Iwaku for a long time, but since her soul isn't from Iwaku, it can't pass on to heaven until it returns to the land it came from or is destroyed. Celcius' original form was that of a druid. She traversed Iwaku time and time again, taking note of many things that happened, sometimes participating in those events, though rarely so. However, as time passed on, the bodies her soul created around itself began to change.

When wars raged around Iwaku, she hid herself away, hoping that these would just be temporary incidents. Small wars brewed into larger ones, and those larger ones gave way to the infamous Admin Wars. Celcius was, at the time, a mere neko-jin at the time, powerless to do anything to help stymie the onslaught and, thus, her body was slain. At the end, her body was not revived along with everyone else's due to the fact that her soul was already spinning a new body for itself. But due to the complete destruction of her body, her soul created a totally new and fresh body. An incomplete body caught in between cycles; part of it, created during the old cycle, clung to the old cycle while other parts of her body rushed forward to the new cycle.

Thus, was born the Celcius that controlled time and space. An incomplete and unstable being that yearned for completion. She often phased out, leaving Iwaku completely for vast stretches of time. However, the body was tethered to Iwaku, so it ultimately returned. Weary and exhausted, the body finally self-detonated, destroying itself. Celcius created a new model of a version of herself from the old cycle; she had become an ice apparition.

Fresh from her rebirth and this time with power, Celcius headed out into Iwaku to discover what was going on and what she could do.

Name: Ryexander (Ry)

Race/Class/Type: He was human before he traversed the void, but even he don’t know if that is still the case, that journey changed his very essence.

Faction: independent

Appearance:
Standing and 5’8” with light brown/dark blond hair and blue eyes Ryexander is a blocky but thin young man of 20 years, his body is hard sculpted muscle, not like that of a body builder though, it is the natural hard lines of a man who practiced martial arts.

Normal Equipment: just the clothes on his back

Special Equipment:
a blade staff that is the embodiment of Ryexander’s soul, it is perfectly sized for his use and the color of the pole and the design etched into the blade changes to fit his current state of mind. The blade staff only manifest itself in times of great need as Ryexander has no grasp of how to summon himself

General Abilities:
Ryexander was a black belt first don in Akido before his arrival in Iwaku and while he has no specific memory of training in the art his body still responds fluidly.

Special Abilites:

(SOULART) Existence:
Ryexander traversed the void before his existence found refuge in the world of Iwaku. (see origin) the journey thought the void in search of a place where Ryexander could exist freely shaped and hardened his existence to the point that it might will be impossible to extinguish it. Ryexander’s will to exist allowed him the cross the void. It is not beyond reason that in times of pearl he could manifest just about any ability imaginable to make sure he keeps existing. Has he been beaten to an inch of his life and perhaps beyond? If his will still burns something will happen to save him, be it regeneration or simply transcendence to a body of energy for a time. he will servive

(REALITY-BENDING) Will to Overcome:
The trip though the void hardened Ryexander’s existence but that not the only thing it did. It reshaped it and gave him powers that he doesn’t understand and likely never will. Ryexander poses a burning desire to overcome any odds pressed against him this manifests as an aura that surrounds his body in battle and it can technically grant him just about any ability he could think up, he doesn’t understand this however an so it is usually restricted to super human strength speed ect.

(SOULART)(or perhaps CONFLUENCE)Obsevation Overdrive:
This is the ONLY ability that could be attributed to Ryexander BEFORE his long trip thought the Void however, as it only manifested itself seconds before being tossed out of his universe this is debatable.
Ryexander has the ability to observe life at incredibly high speeds, that is to say. The frame rate his eyes can see at increases well beyond the human range and the speed at which his brain process the extra information is increased in an equal amount, . The result? Slow-mo. To him it would look like the world had slowed down. his body is still bound to normal speed however so the only effect is that his reactions are quicker and he may be able to see things that move to fast for the human eye. How much the world slows would depend on how much of the power he was using. In times of need the strength of this skill can be increased by his will to exist.
There is a major drawback to this power however, prolonged use, or even short periods of use at high powe,r causes blinding headaches that can easily incapacitate Ryexander leave him that way for hours.

Weaknesses:
The trip though the Void may have locked Ryexander’s existence but it took things from him as well. The vast majority of his memories from his past life are gone, and only vague impressions remain. any sense of morality he may have had has been smudged and the lines blurred, overpowered by a drive to survive. His sense of self is almost nonexistence. And while he may have an incredibly powerful drive to live on, he has nothing to live for. This makes his easily corruptible easy to turn form one side to another.
What’s more he only barely understands his powers and his potential and as a result his abilities are week compared to what they would be on another more experienced user.
Ryexander's mind is extremely susceptible to manipulation any spell or ability that worked on the mind would be nigh impossible to defend against for him even a verbal approach would be effective in dictating his actions

Bottom line, while Ryexander searches for a purpose to live he remains easy to mold, a pawn for the princes, and his true power and potential untapped.

Origin:
Ryexander lived in a small mountain town , grew up there too. And it wasn’t a prosperous place until a team of scientist came to town and built a specialized particle accelerator under a mountain next to the town and an endeavor to try and synthesize supper heavy atoms in the island of stability their attempt at Unbihexium failed horribly causing an implosion that pulled everything in a ten mile into a hole in the fabric of space and time into the void. as Ryexander beheld the destruction of his world, of his life time seems to slow down. as he watched the people he know pulled apart into nothing he made a promise to him self that whatever challenge this was and whatever challenge lay ahead he would survive it. he would live on for those who died before him.
The Void in the place where nothing, not even the idea of existence, not even time, exists, a place of eternal nothing. And while the Void is nothing scattered though it are universes, bubbles of existence that sustain themselves by size alone, packing uncountable numbers of existences together to escape the existence crushing effect of the void. Should an existence exit a universe it would almost instantaneously be crushed into nothing. But Ryexander’s will to exist stalled the effects, and so he drifted for an imperceptible amount of time trough the void from universe to universe trying to find a way in. and then he found Iwaku a world riddled with rips in the fabric of time an space as if doors were open wide begging him the enter the broken and fractured world on the other side.
The trip through the void damaged his mind and only vague impressions of memories of his past life remain. the promise he made to himself to live has been embedded in his mind but he is not aware of it. it grants him no purpose for his life.
(How you got to Iwaku. Please put in spoiler tags)

Name: Slade Dragoon

Race/Class/Type: Human, Enforcer/Divine Skylord
Slade was born a Human, with only his odd hair and eye colour to distinguish him from any other of his kind. However, his repeated encounters with the otherwordly eventually left their mark on him. The self-proclaimed Goddess of Lightning, Sirana, embued Slade with the mark of the Celestial in return for his aid. This divine spark has survived all other changes placed upon him and though it does little to actively enhance his abilities, Slade will always be able to call on and control the lightning element with ease. He also finds the mark reacts well with holy and divine powers, and loses much of its ability when he wields anything with a daemonic touch, such as blood magic.
The Enforcers were the elite fighting unit of Entaria- a warrior cadre that directly answered to the overdiety, Alexander. Slade was trained as a senior member of this group- a regimen that combined strength of arms with the use of divine magic. With the power of his Celestial mark, Slade was also a prime candidate for the Divine Skylord path- one once walked by Alexander himself. Recieving training from the diety personally, Slade's powers blossomed.

Faction: Independant.

Appearance: Slade is 27 years old, approximately 5'10" tall, slim of build and weighing in at around 160 lbs. His eyes are ruby red and his hair- perpetually untidy and always worn scruffy and at about chin length- is perfectly, snow white. Despite the albino features, his skin is relatively dark, the shade of weak coffee. He prefers to wear fairly dark equipment, though usually with some contrasting white or silver features, and likes crimson and dark red clothing.
Slade is also quite beautiful; too feminine to be called handsome, and as such can appear somewhat foppish at first glance. Especially with the expression of calm and aloof confidence he wears.
He is also covered in scars, mostly to his front, on the torso, arms and face. Though none of them are severe enough to be disfiguring, he has two in particular that are telling of mortal wounds. One is quite obviously a piercing wound over his heart, with an accompanying exit wound, though both are many years old. The other is a long, twisted scar over his abdomen that pinches the skin around it, telling of a wide tearing wound; also fatal.

Normal Equipment:
Warhorse- a mare of some sixteen hands. Bred for war and able to support several times Slade's weight in equipment and barding. Not usually armoured.
Travelling Pack- Slade is well prepared for adventuring, lugging around a pack that contains several day's worth of dried rations and water, equipment for making a torch or campfire, a coil of rope, a bedroll and spare blankets and several changes of clothes.
Negotiator- A bastard sword ( hand and a half broadsword ) constructed of rare damascus metal. Featuring a double-handed grip and a blade almost three feet in length, as well as a wide, bladed crossguard and ornate filigree on the blade's base and pommel. This is Slade's primary weapon, and though embued with no magical properties, the expensive metals of its creation make it nigh-indestructable by any normal means and allow it to keep its edge through many battles.
Silver Daggers- Slade also carries two balances knives at all times, galvanized with silver over steel. Slade knows that silver posesses talismanic properties against supernatural foes and these blades have served him well to this effect. They are also non-magical, though magic was used in their construction.
Enforcer Armour- This half-plate set comprises of folded steel plates, coloured in sapphire blue with silver edging, over a chainmail suit and leather fatigues. The full armour set is quite cumbersome, consisting of a breastplate, shoulder guards, arm plates, thigh plates, greaves and a full-faced helm. To this effect, Slade will only wear the full set when he knows there is going to be severe trouble. Most often, he'll simply use the bracers, greaves, the left shoulder guard and keep the helm handy, which cuts down on his overall carry weight immensely.
Longbow and quivver- A simple yew longbow of Elven construction and a quivver, typically kept topped up at twenty or so arrows that Slade keeps on his warhorse.

Special Equipment:
Stormreaver- The Stormreaver is an ethereal blade that seems to be comprised entirely of lightning and divine light. Slade can 'draw' it forth for up to a minute a day, but doing so any longer begins to sap his own life force very quickly. Though unstable, the divine blade is one worthy of a Celestial general and is particularly effective against demonic and undead foes. In appearance and reach, it is about the same size as the negotiator and Slade enjoys using both at the same time; one in each hand.
First Holy Symbol of Alexander- When Alexander became the overdiety of Entaria, Slade was the first to recieve his divine mark. Although such a long way from home, and out of favour with his God, this once-potent relic still retains enough of its divine essense to act as a very powerful holy symbol. When using his Turn ability, Slade gains benefits from wielding this symbol.
It is a small silver disc, about the size of an eyeball, engraved with an image of an ornate gauntlet, grasping a winged sword.

General Abilties:
Weapon Training- Slade specializes in the bastard sword, and is particularly adept with any kind of sword. However, in his long training, he's wielded everything from javelins to halberds; from flails to bec-de-corbins. Pretty much any melee weapon immediately feels at home in his hand, and most crossbows and bows, too.
Armour Training- Though he will never be completely comfortable encased in a steel skin, Slade has enough training with various armour types that he can maximise the effectiveness of anything from animal hide to damascus plate without it slowing him down too much, or hindering his movements beyond the unavoidable.
Multidexterity- Having mastered the arts of fighting with two weapons at a time, Slade went on to concentrate on doing so while retaining perfect footing, and even performing acrobatic stunts while doing so. If using a weapon on each hand, Slade can fight with the ferocity and skill of two different swordsmen at the same time.
Grit- Having been wounded in combat so many times, Slade is able to fight on through almost debilitating pain and trauma. Where most fighters would faint away, Slade will just grin through all but the most fatal wounds and attack with renewed fury.
Basic First Aid- Slade makes it a habit to carry at least some medical equipment with him and has a basic understanding of how to treat wounds. Although he is no doctor, Slade can stop infection, staunch bleeding and sew together cuts easily enough.
Basic Forrestry- In a wooded environment, Slade can forage for food, remain unseen, avoid danger and even track targets much better than he can on open ground. Though only a novice comapred to a true Ranger, Slade's upbringing with Elves saw some of their natural wilderness affinity rubbed off on him.

Special Abilities:
Lightning affinity- Slade is utterly immune to naturally-occurring lightning and has some protection against magical electricity as well, due to the Celestial mark granted to him.
Lightning arc/summon lightning- Depending on the weather conditions, Slade can either project a powerful bolt of lightning from himself or call one down from a stormcloud on a target. The latter is much more powerful, but requires very specific conditions. The form he can accomplish at will, but can be dangerous for allies in the area.
Create light- Slade can imbue any small object with a light akin to that of a lantern, but bright white and constant any time he pleases. The effect will last as long as he is within a few feet of the item and causes no other effects than illumination.
Divine Smite- Once in every 24-hour cycle, Slade can gather the energies of his Celestial mark and unleash them on an enemy through a physical attack. Whether through sword, fist or arrow, a single attack is imbued with holy energy and uncanny accuracy. This is especially effective against evil, demonic or undead foes.
Skylord's presence- Under an open sky, Slade can imbue himself with the aspect of Alexanxder for a few seconds, lending his voice uncanny power and his appearance a terrifying shadow of divinity that can cow enemies, rebuke allies and dispel fear. He can do this any time he is in the open, but it will not work twice against the same opponent.

Weaknesses: Slade's most obvious weakness is his general vulnerability. Though hardy and tough for a Human, he is still very much a creature of flesh and blood and can be killed through almost any normal means, save perhaps for electrocution. He also harbours a number of phobias- firstly of deep water, secondly of any creature with more than one head ( especially hydras, for personal reasons ) and also of guns. Although bows of any kind are fine, if Slade recognises a device as a gun, he will be in almost mortal fear of it.
Another weakness is Slade's level of intellect. Although not stupid by any means, he finds most puzzles incomprehensible and hates riddles. Perhaps for this reason, he tends to be quite gullible. He will often go along with the plans of others if they involve anything more complex than 'find target, smash target'

Origin: Confused, angry, hurt and drained, Slade had railed on his God. Alexander, the one to whom he owed everything, had born the brunt of Slade's anger and frustration in a moment of weakness.
And the God of divine retribution was not the sort to turn the other cheek.
Alexander left them, then. The ones he had saved from the wrath of his nemesis and counterpart, Solomon when the evil diety had stormed the Celestial gates and laid waste to the world of men. Slade Dragoon, the most powerful of Alexander's servants, had been powerless to stop the spread of evil and even when he managed to spirit some of the faithful away, such respite as they found had been short lived.
Faced with impending death for all he loved, unable to save even his fiance, Slade had been confronted by Solomon. The archfiend had offered him a deal; in exchange for his servitude, Slade's friends would be unharmed, even guaranteed a good living under Slade's own rule. He could have whatever he desired, whomever he desired, if he would but bend his knee to Solomon.
Desperate, it had taken every ounce of Slade's willpower to deny Solomon, and the swordsman consigned himself to death, determined that no harm would come to those under his guard while he still drew breath.
Then, as the universe collapsed around them, Alexander had returned. Descending on fiery wings, the Archdiety smote Solomon with effortless ease, breathing life back into the world and restoring all that was good.
Slade and company now stood speechless and shocked upon a pristine hillside in view of their home Alexander in all his glory before them, where once had been the twisted visage of Solomon. Such was his shock, his frustration that he had been able to do nought but watch, and the guilty knowledge that he had come but a hair's breadth from betraying his lord, Slade's fury erupted.
And thus, rejected by his oldest subject and friend, Alexander had left them all.

They had done their best to carry on- to defend Alexander's realm in the hope that he would return, but somehow, word had gotten out that their God was no longer with them. The congregations of Alexander rounded on castle Korhal, demanding to know why their prayers were no longer being answered. The clergy, once powerful divine casters, now found their spells failed them and immediately pointed fingers at those closest to their God.
With the threat of full revolt, and fearing for those under his guard, Slade came forward and told them the truth; that the blame was his.
Despite the desperate protestations of his friends, he allowed the angry mob to carry him off and resisted not at all as they conducted a trial. They called him a traitor, a blasphemer, a heretic and worse. The mob, angry and terrified, bayed for blood. Knowing that escaping would only bring more wrath down on him and those he cared about, Slade allowed himself to be tied to the stake and watched with sadness as the people he had shed blood on countless occassions to protect piled the firewood at his feet.
But, before the first torch could be flung, the skies broiled. Rain sheeted down, thunder rolled and a great spear of lightning arced down to strike the stake. The mob was blinded, and when their vision cleared, they saw that Slade was gone, only a burnt and blackened pillar of wood smoking in his wake.

Slade awoke to the sound of birdsong and the rushing of the trees. It was early morning and he could feel the condensation on the grass under his head, between his fingers. He was lying on his back in a clearing, with no memory of how he got there. A quick examination found all his gear and weapons to be intact, and his horse plodded from the treeline- a mystery since he'd left her at another castle some days ago.
He looked about, but recognised nothing in the landscape- no landmarks were familiar and the local vegetation hinted at him being much further north than Korhal was placed.
Unbeknownst to him, Slade had been spirited to Owaku- a place with no ties to Entaria. How he had come to be here from the burning, he had no idea. Nor who had rescued him. But more urgent than his locale was concern for his friends back in Entaria. Without their sacrifice, had the masses turned on them?
He would have to find a way to contact them- perhaps if he found a mage of sufficient power... but first, he'd have to find civilisation.
And so, Slade began wandering Owaku, seeking answers to his questions, and seeking news of those he loves.

General Abilities: She is not big on combat, but she has a strong flexible body and good endurance. Her swimming is excellent and she can hold her breath for a long time.

Special Abilities: Water Bending

Weaknesses: She needs to drink lots of water to keep from being dehydrated. High heat weakens her!

Origin: Once a citizen of the fabled Moonwings, she was a long term denizen. When it was destroyed and her home lost, she became a refugee and like others, found a new home on Iwaku. It's been wild and rough, but Badriya believes that you can learn from history to keep moving forward. Her current concerns is that Iwaku is going to end up destroyed like her previous home. She doesn't trust Diana, nor does she trust some of the other major Iwaku Powers that have sent the world in to crazyness. Her goal is to recover what is being lost!

Important note: This Xindaris is a complete stranger to the universe of Iwaku World. He is in no way related to my previous character sheet, which is best considered to have never existed. He hasn't met anyone from Iwaku world and he knows absolutely nothing about its history. Why? Because I needed a character who knew about as much as I did. He's also a separate entity from my "persona", with a background and history of his own that do not particularly relate to my real-world existence.

Name: Xindaris

Race/Class/Type: Werewolf/Fighter/???

Faction: Not in any

Appearance: Due to his body having a strange reaction to the bite of a werewolf, Xindaris has no control over his form. Anytime except for the full and new moon, Xindaris is in kind of a half-werewolf, half-human shape, with claws and sharp teeth and the ears and tail of a wolf, sometimes (though not always) with patches of fur from the forearm up and the foreleg down. As one might expect, on the full moon he turns fully into a werewolf, and on the new moon he becomes fully human, but his form is like this from the dawn of the day before until the dawn that dispels the full/new moon's night. He looks fairly athletic, usually doesn't wear a shirt but keeps himself as clean as he can. His eyes are green and his fur and hair is all the same shade of brown, neither particularly dark nor particularly light.

Normal Equipment: Pants. Usually worn jeans or khakis that have been torn up a bit near the bottom.

Special Equipment: Not really anything he keeps on himself. The inn he runs has various devices that make it much easier and more convenient for one man to run, but none of them would be particularly useful in battle.

General Abilities: Good at mixing various drinks, talking up a storm, and a little bit of heavy lifting. He's alright in hand-to-hand combat, having served as his own bouncer for several years.

Special Abilites: Is a werewolf; has advanced smelling, hearing, etc; has patches of fur and enhancements over his regular amount of strength. Also has strange magic-disrupting powers when his life is in danger, which usually result in magic having a slightly different effect or being aimed in a different direction. When his life doesn't seem to be in danger, he reacts to magic as any normal person would; when this power activates, he has no actual control over what it does; sometimes the magic's new effect can be even worse than its old one, for instance, or it could be redirected toward a friend.

Weaknesses: Partially covered above; he isn't terribly special aside from being a werewolf. Beat him up enough and he dies; he has nothing special about him to deal with technological attacks of various sorts. Notably silver does not have an adverse effect on him, because he is simply not that kind of werewolf.

Origin:
Xindaris is from one of many alternate versions of Earth in which magic appeared seemingly out of nowhere. In the case of his world, it appeared in the form of forests suddenly springing up from the ground, instantly swallowing up large sections of several countries; the people who used to live in those sections largely went missing or returned as entirely different magical races. Xindaris is someone from the world outside these "Great Forests" who was bitten by a werewolf and pulled in. It turns out the forest is not so terrible a place to live, and with a newfound friend he built a tavern and inn in the middle of the wilderness, a stopping place for travelers called the "Wolf's Inn". His friend, a goblin and a pioneer in the emerging field of combining magic and technology, died something of a tragic death, and Xindaris carries on running the inn partially in memory of him.

Through events not entirely clear, and certainly unknown to Xindaris himself, the entire inn was recently pulled through dimensional rifts into Iwaku. Since he was asleep in his bed at the time, Xindaris at this point has absolutely no idea where he is; since he wasn't particularly attached to the patch of land he was on before, he can only hope there are friendly customers here.

Name: William Druthers

Race/Class/Type: Human/Scout/Sniper

Faction: None

Appearance:
Normal Equipment: .30-06 Sniper Rifle w/ 12x Scope (3 Boxes of ammo w/ 12 bullets in each), Binoculars, Flashlight, Casual clothes (t-shirt, unbuttoned dress shirt over it, jeans, converse), water canteen, prescription glasses, M1911 (2 boxes of ammo with 18 bullets in each),

Special Equipment: 1 box of armor piercing ammo and 1 box of hollowpoint rounds for .30-06 rifle, night vision scope for sniper rifle, explosive ammo for .30-06 (5 bullets), Silver Bullets for M1911 (3 boxes with 18/each)

General Abilities: Agile and nimble, able to move quickly and quietly. Also able to swim fast and climbs rigid objects with ease.

Special Abilites: None

Weaknesses: Clumsy when nervous or rushing, nearsighted without glasses, and very socially awkward. Operates well under pressure, but drops his guard when he thinks he's hidden.

Origin:
Came with a friend, one of the best he's ever known. They met a tribe and began to assimilate with them. They people would teach them new and interesting ways to live with others and with people. Though his friend picked up on everything with ease, William had issues communicating, commonly having his friend speak for him. The one thing William seemed to be good at was using a rifle, so he focused on that. After several years spent with the people, another tribe came and infiltrated their camp, killing the men and taking the women hostage. His friend fought back, killing many of them, but eventually being taken out by the other tribe's leader. William was hiding alone in the forest, after being told by his friend to run. He grabbed his rifle and a some basic supplies, stuffing them into a duffelbag before leaving. He heard the screams and shouts of the people that helped him but he couldn't make himself turn back. He knew he had to return some day, but he had to protect himself.

Race/Class/Type:
3-toed dragon/low-ranking River guard/Celestial
Faction:
Independent; (so) loose (it’s floppy) affiliation with Luna Ashe

Appearance: (Original design by Hyung Tae Kim)
IW_Char_ver2.png

Normal Equipment: One inscripted, metallic band locked with a medallion hanging off of it on her left arm to contain Coorie in a corporeal, humanoid form; a shoulder pauldron with a huo chu*attached meant to keep her spiritual nature and powers in check. Tied to her hip is an intricately carved rosewood... stick, three feet in length-- used in various manners. Coorie also has a fabulous pair of stylish shoes.

Special Equipment:
In lieu of carrying a pack, Coorie wears a rather chic poncho lined with pockets specifically to hold things—like the sword handle used to concentrate compacted, frozen water molecules (lol a.k.a. ice) into a blade. Also seeing that when Coorie is compacted into a human form the extra mass is transubstantiated into the ridiculous-looking armor about her waist and shoulders, which is the manifest of 80% of Coorie’s supernatural fiber thus holds supernatural characteristics such as a limited resistance to the elements and magic and a large yet however limited capacity to store objects within it. That’s pretty special.

General Abilities:
Well, considering Coorie is of run-of-the-mill supernatural origin… pretty much a +5 to the usual aspects that come up. Can dragons do it? Coorie most definitely can. Can fairies do it? Coorie could probably do it. Can ogres do it? Coorie… might be able to but she most likely wouldn’t want to.

Weaknesses:
Fire, obviously. And magic. ‘Cause you know, dragons are magic creatures and “magic must defeat magic”.

Origin:
MOONWINGS UP THIS BITCH! AWW YEAH YEAH! WOOP WOOP! No, seriously now: Coorie has traveled around after the fall of Moonwings and though capable of flitting between dimensions she had no reason to until the AFTA space station broke through to Iwaku. Coorie is a huge, sentimentally loyal person and so kept track of the station that housed so many of her comrades on her journeys that the passing of the craft through a dimension piqued her curiosity enough to follow into Iwaku. Having been an informal guardian to the fallen city-state, Coorie decided to track down AFTA just, coincidentally enough, as the Moonwings Spire appeared and being completely prone to distraction she veered her investigation to snoop into the Spire and being delighted that her old pass code was still valid she entered the spire to... pretty much go through everyone's stuff seeing as it didn't look to be anyone still about in it. But just wait until she delves deeper...!

*Huo chu-- You know that ball/pearl thing that Asian dragons are usually carrying around? Yeah, that thing.
