[FONT=&quot]INTRODUCTION[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]You find yourself stuck on an uncharted planet with billions of others, all at war against each other. You are cut off from all communications and without any current support. Nearby empires send their armies in an attempt to crush their foes but are only added to the bloodshed that covers this place. The civilization that once cultivated the land is now left in ruins on the battlefield. Your only hope is to join with a loose bunch of allies all seeking to uncover the mystery and escape the planet now called Nex.[/FONT]


[FONT=&quot]First off, the rules:[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]I am Big Boss, what I say, goes.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]No Godmodding[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]No killing others unless allowed to do so by them (must be posted beforehand in the OOC).[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Any issues in battle will be resolved swiftly either via pm or in the OOC.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Rules that are subject to change at times will be noted on each map[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Work together and do your best[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Any person who joins may also make a map of their own. In a map or chapter, please include what the area looks like, NPC enemies on the map and a boss for the end. Objectives are also needed for both teams to fight over and complete. PM the GM[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Leaders give you different bonuses to 'use' in combat. Each has different strengths and should be used wisely. All that is required is to include a bonus in your post to help during battle ONLY against the enemy team. Bonuses are generally weak and so are used as roadblocks mostly.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Not everyone likes losing their character. In this RP, if you just happen to find yourself in a sticky situation or not liking your character and needing escape, you can let your character be killed or have them simply leave the scene in one way or another. With that, you can replace them forever or momentarily (they can come back later in the story) with another character of your choice. This may be wise as later maps will be far more difficult and needing only certain weapons to defeat enemies with that maybe your character does not have.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Winning a map means the victorious team each gets two points while the losing team scores one point. Pinning an enemy or assisting in pinning earns two points for only the attackers, not the entire team.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Pinning is when a character(s) is able to completely stop an enemy from doing anything whilst in combat. Stats help play a role in pinning but a well enough detailed(not too much) and reasonable post will be plus.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Weapons can be anything from ballistic, magic, or melee based. They can use energy or anything you wish.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Stats for your weapons[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Rate of Fire – Used against enemy speed[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Damage – Used against enemy toughness[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]For your heavy weapon, you are given 20 points to spread between the two attributes. With your other weapon, you are given 10 points. Upgrades can later help in adding to the attributes.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]An example for setting this up could be,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Weapon – Nuke Cannon[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Heavy, Ordnance (heavy weapons can also just affect a single person or a line of fire that anyone is in will get hit) Rate of Fire - 5 Damage - 15[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Weapon – Laser gun[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Energy, Rate of Fire – 5 Damage – 5[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]HEAVY WEAPONS are able to fire once every four of the user's turns unless later upgraded to fire in less posts.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Melee weapons add their damage with the base strength of the bearer.[/FONT]

If your character has [FONT=&quot]2xStrength of enemy's toughness = better chance in causing pinning. Melee weapon strength adds onto base strength.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]2xAgility of enemy's agility = able to easily dodge and escape from combat[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]2xAgility of enemy's rate of fire = easily dodge enemy gunfire[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]2xToughness of enemy's strength = greatly decrease chance of getting pinned/damage inflicted by gunfire and melee. If in combat, you can still do other things while being attacked by someone with lesser base/weapon strength. NOTE if two people attack you, you must add their strength together against your toughness.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]2xSpeed of enemy's speed = Ability to easily escape from combat/ chase down others.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]2xSpeed of enemy's rate of fire = easily dodge gunfire. NOTE: Dual weapons add rate of fire together as well as two enemy's firing at you will add rate of fire together.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]2xSoul of enemy's = ability to break their spell and attack them with yours/ be unaffected by [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot](you may create up to 2 characters but they must be on separate teams)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Alignment: (who/what do you fight for?)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Bio/History (make it short and sweet, how did you get on the planet? Do you have a purpose?)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Weapons (two, dual weapons count as one but must be the same exact type, can only have one heavy)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Base Attributes – (fill in the desired skill with the amount of points by either putting a number there or whatever)
Strength (Best for melee)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Agility (Best for dodging/blocking and escaping combat)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Speed (For escaping combat and how fast you are in combat)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Toughness (Taking damage and decrease ability to be pinned in combat)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Soul (For sustaining magic/psychic attacks in combat, as well as dealing magic/psychic attacks)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Team: (pick either team 1 or 2. It doesn't matter what you pick besides friends being on there)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]I will not post the first map just yet. Basically it starts out in a ruined city full of various conflicting enemies and an awaiting boss near the end. Gear up![/FONT]
