In the ruined wastes of North America, full blown war has broken out. Lives are decimated, people are dying by the dozens, and the entire continent is in a general state of turmoil.
It has been three weeks since it happened. Since the real stuff hit. The world could only stop and stare helplessly as the inevitable consumed the planet.
Trump had been elected president.
And in a freak coincident, the world was almost immediately invaded by an advanced alien race. The military did their best to respond, but were ultimately crushed beneath the technological might of the invaders. With a planet under their control, Earth's new hosts got to work colonizing and integrating with the native population.
Some of us welcomed the new tenants, but pockets of resistance sprung up to oppose the xenos threat. This is the story of the remnants of the military.
This is the story of one really unlucky squad.
