A dimensional traveler moves through time and space in pursuit of interesting beings. She wants nothing more than to sit down, have a chat, and ask a few questions over tea. She's a simple interviewer.
Why not let her have a chat with your character?

The idea of this is pretty simple. Choose a character of yours and answer the questions the way they would! This could be a good little practice for those trying to get into a character's brainy parts.

The Interviewer's Questions:

Please tell me about yourself.

What is a typical day like for you?

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?

Feel free to add follow-up questions and other chit-chat from the interviewer if desired.

Deck sprawls on the floor, totally missing the couch in his effort to just sit down. He's smeared with grease, a streak running down one side of his face and down onto his baggy black 'training suit', a one piece zippered cover-all that somehow lost the sleeves on it. Deck's long black hair is pulled back into a ponytail and he smiles broadly at the Interviewer.

The Interviewer's Questions:

Please tell me about yourself.
"Morning! About me? I'm Deck, well actually I'm December. December Ranolf. I'm a pilot. Not for planes, though I can fly those but I'm a mech jockey. As in I pilot around a huge hulking beast of a machine. I'm military, so that's who I work for. We're fighting a war against people who are just like us, except they place an emphasis on those who have been ... I don't got the words for this. 'Engineered', I guess. They think they should be in charge. We believe in equality not just in those with the best genes. "

What is a typical day like for you?
"Uhm. Er. Oh! I wake up and go through my morning routine, hot yoga on my squad's deck with the heat cranked up. After that I hydrate, shower, and then go to breakfast. After breakfast I usually have training, so I'm in the mech simulator for a couple of hours. Then I have to eat or I'll head straight to the gym for a cool-down swim. Then I've got hand to hand training. Always exciting. Then it's more training or some learning- something. Finally for the evening, there's dinner and a free period with my squad in our quarters and then I do some stretches and head to bed. Not very exciting, huh?"

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
"You mean when I have to go out and fight the bad guys? Well, that's what I'm doing. Sometimes I don't know. I mean, I always know I'm doing the right thing, I just wish there was a way to not have this war. It's been going on for nearly fifteen years now. I fight though. I get in my mech and I go out there and I give it my all and I try really really hard not to die. After I return I usually spend the day in our quarters. I don't wanna see anybody."

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
"I hope, really really hope that we'll win the war in the next five years and in ten, we'll have peace and instead of working against each other, we'll find a way to work together. Both sides have lost so many people, I can't imagine how much more of this we can take. If we've not won, if there isn't peace... Then I'll be right here, doing what I have to do."

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
"Someone special? A lover... No. No lover in my life right now. If I took a lover who was also active in this war than the chances are they would die and I couldn't handle that. So instead I go to parties and sometimes I get lucky. It's always a one night stand. Always protected. Heh. I'm not that stupid. Kinda funny but I'm sorta a special person so I'm a little younger than most of my counterparts too... It doesn't get me much extra action really."

Krystal gets shoved out onto the floor by Tenchi. She looks back unwillingly at him but then he vanished (like always) and she's forced to take the interview. She shyly walks over and takes a sear, smoothing the wrinkles out of her Kimono and placing her Katana right next to her. She scratched her short white hair nervously and gives the interviewer a shy smile, trying not to let her social anxiety get the best of her.

The Interviewer's Questions:
About me.. Hmm.. Well My name is Krystal Tokko, I'm 17 years old and I try to live my life as a normal girl. My family consists of supernatural beings. I received the gift to sense immortals when they're near. It's the only thing that sets me apart from being a normal human, other than my black wing when I'm in my true form. My grandpa raised me on how to fight. Him and my father are strict on the family tradition to kill anything and anyone that isn't human. I don't agree with them though. I hate the fact that I'm forced to shed innocent blood. And because of my family's rules, I was cursed by the Gods as they tainted my white wings black and damned my to hell.

Please tell me about yourself.
Well, I work at a coffee shop. It's one of the highlights of my days. I don't like being home most of the time. All that's waiting for me at home are rules, training, rules, training, discipline, training.... Heh, I guess you get the ideal. So I sneak out of the house a lot to hang out with Tenchi. He's like my best friend in the whole world! When I have him by my side, nothing in this world can get me down! -Krystal smiles softly and laughs to herself a bit.- He makes life worth living I can say.

What is a typical day like for you?
Oh, well I go to Katsune High school. I'm a Junior there. And after school I run to the grocery store for my mother. When I get home I have to train with grandpa and my father. Then when training is over I either go to work at the coffee shop or I sneak out and find Tenchi. We always explore together. And we tend to get in a lot of trouble heheh. Once we went to Tokyo.... erm... umm.. anyways, after I spend time with him I sneak back home. About midnight me and the family set out across the town searching for immortals to kill. I try my best to only go after the ones that are causing real problems. And if I find someone that is just trying to live a normal life, I tell them to hide.

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
If I'm not doing my regular routine then I'm probably traveling with Tenchi across the world.... or getting kidnapped. That happens a lot unfortunately... And then Tenchi normally comes and saves me. I a big responsibility to him I guess. But we always have fun in the end.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
In 5 to 10 years? Well when I can get out of the house, I'm setting out to find the Gods that have cursed me. I plan to get my right to heaven back. I believe if I can prove that I am at no fault t heart, they would free me of the curse and let me live the normal life that I've wanted since I could remember. I know that nothing will ever be normal for me. I mean hell' I have wings for God sake. But the fact that I'm trying to be a normal human being is proof enough for me to be forgiven for my families sins right?

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
-Krystal's face turns bright red as she plays with her Kimono in her lap.- Well, Not exactly.. not officially... It's kinda hard to explain the relationship that I have with Tenc--- I mean... uhh... I'm sorry I got to go now! -Krystal quickly grabs her katana and runs out of the exit and heads for home.-

The Interviewer's Questions:

Please tell me about yourself.

What is a typical day like for you?
My day is usually quiet and collected--to myself really. I'm usually out on the prowl in the City Streets, cutting apart those of a dark nature and black heart, most of the time its always from bandits, rapists, escaped criminals, and just sick people. Then I stay calm and hang out with my old friend, Krystal. Hehe, she still doesn't know about the name change!

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
Sneaking out with my friends, or to a certain someone. We'd practice our martial arts from morning to dawn in hopes of perfecting our strength to protect each other.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
Heh, probably side by side with Krystal, hacking apart our enemies.

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
A story for another day...

Well... My name is Masao Yamaguchi, although only my sister ever called me by my first name. Everyone else knows me by the nickname "Mao." I'm pretty sure I'm of the male gender, even though I've been reincarnated. I was turned at the young age of twelve by this sick fuck with a thing for little boys. Ended up tearing my parents to shreds one full moon. I may not look dangerous because of this accursed short stature and thin build but I'm more than capable of clawing your face the fuck up. I had a sister who, long story short, was awesome, died, then ended up being a total bitch. I love food and sweets and I guess I have a big problem with staying in one place for too long. Currently I'm a blonde, though I've been every hair color under the sun. I honestly don't remember how old I am.

What is a typical day like for you?
I wake up at dawn, go through anyone's basic routine of eating and cleanliness, which is difficult y'know without showers or tubs. Just coldass rivers or lakes or waterfalls or hell, this point in humanity sucks balls. But I guess it beats living as a slave like I did before shit hit the fan and humanity was almost completely wiped out. Dumbasses. After I'm dressed and ready for success, I take up my "day job" of construction - thatching roofs, building new homes and boats, etc. It's generally a ten-hour job, weather permitting. After that, a drink at the pub, then home to rest. Boring right? But I keep to myself most of time, unless a handsome stranger rides into town. Not that something like that happens often.

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
I'm an assassin for hire. A mercenary paid to murder in cold blood. This is my night job. It's not often that I get work but when I do, it pays well.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
I honestly couldn't tell you. As I said before, I just don't like staying in one place for too long. I've been running all of my life and even though that asshole who sent me running in the first place is long dead, I can't seem to stop running from everything and anything. Guess I'll still be running in ten years time.

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
Right now? (*long pause*) No, not right now I guess. A long time ago I did. Guess I'm running from him now.

Hmm. 'Name's Johnathan Kusanagi, though I use the alias 'Percy Bell' more often than my actual name. As I may seem human *looks over his brown hoodie, blue pants and black shoes*, I'm really a Soul Reaper. I had defected from Soul Society after I was accused of destroying human souls rather than performing a konso and sending them to Soul Society, However that's a lie. It was a false charge planted against me to get me executed. Sad thing is that it almost worked if it wasn't for my friends and allies.

What is a typical day like for you?
The word 'typical' is underrated due to the stupid things that happens to me on a almost daily basis. I go around and protect humans from hollows and other beings that would kill them....beings like wraiths, vampires and demons. Also, remind me to tell you about when I was going up against some vampires that sparkled in the sun. I kid you not, they sparkled in the sun. Your probably curious about how I did against such. Well, that's another story for another time.

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
Well, I tend to think of ways to do the impossible. Also, I like to train with my zanpaktuo whenever I get a chance.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
I can't. Soul Reapers and other spiritual beings age slowly....extremely slowly. I'm being serious here, the current Head Captain of the 13 Court Guard Squads looks like an old man but can give the young looking people like me a massive ass-kicking. So, in that same amount of time, I'll be still looking like a 22 year old human.

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
No. The last special someone in my life was killed before we could settle down.

Well, my name's Inase. Dropped the last name years ago... pretty sure it started with a D... or a T. I have a twin brother, identical, but I haven't seen him in a while. I'm sure he's fine, though. We have this annoying bond, so I'd know if he died. Yeah, he's probably still pussy-footing around somewhere with his lady.

What is a typical day like for you?
These days weren't much different than the older days. Seems like I'm constantly drawing the attention of pitiful vampires in need of someone to trail after. Pups too, annoyingly clingy bunch they are. Werewolf pups, I mean. Anyway, so my typical day usually starts with giving them some directions, jobs to do and what not, keeping them busy and outta my hair. I handle more tricky trades... you know, the sales of goods we've... obtained through various means. It's a great process, really, keeps me busy. And you gotta love manipulating a human into a nice business deal, so easy, and the best part of the job. After all that, well, I like to find a quiet place to have a drink in. All the chatter of my usual company'd drive me mad, otherwise.

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
I like to venture out... travel, see things. The world's changed a lot since shit went to hell. It's interesting to see what's different. Forests where plains were long ago... and new lakes. It's also good to keep tabs on growing human settlements, and the best places to feed.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
Tch, as if I think that far ahead. It all goes by so fast, anyway. I guess I'll be doing what I do now. Cheating human systems and whatever.

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
...What kind of question is that? [sigh] Well, whatever, the answer's no anyway. He's been...... long gone. Wandered off one day, like some adventurous puppy. ...But that's just how it is.

Please tell me about yourself.

Well names are a good place to start, I am Lumis Gengin, Princept in the Hierarchy and veteran of the Gesh Campaign. Never heard of it? Three years of the most brutal fighting in the war, where we, the transhuman leaders and the natural troops fought shoulder to shoulder with over 90% casualty rates. As you've guessed I'm a soldier, or more specifically a mecha pilot, unusual for someone of my rank but after my parent's betrayal our family's loyalty was questioned... We all play our part, that is the code of the Hierarchy.

What is a typical day like for you?

My typical day is I wake up, eat the standard fair for the men, then head out into the yard for exercise and to show my face. Many of them look up to me, they know what I am and what I've been through, they are my brothers and I am one of them. Hand to hand combat training or mecha simulators followed by lunch and free time which I usually spend in a video call with my youngest sister. She always asks when I'm going home, I always answer 'as soon as I can'. After that there is time in the gym and dinner, then bed.

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?

I run patrols, escort convoys, lead raids, generally fight the enemy who with to bring out society down because they fear us. They see the next step in evolution ruling over thier kind and they become blind to the good we're doing, the freedoms we have in place. Sorry I'm getting sidetracked, their stubbornness just saddens me. I'm a soldier, and I kill to protect my sisters and make sure my parent's betrayal doesn't ruin their lives.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?

Home. I haven't been there in so long it's become images on a screen to me but once this war is over I will return and see my sisters happy. I know I'm not the same person I was and I will find noble life difficult but it will be worth it to have this was finally come to an end. Other than that I don't know. If a match for me is found I'll marry, if not maybe I'll become one of the idle rich...

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?

That depends what you mean by special, I have two special girls back home, Umbra and Signa, but not in that way. My sisters is why I put myself through this and I can't had someone special in that other way since Gesh. I never found out what happened to him.

Sebastrian walks over to the couch with a sly yet cheeky smile on his face. He looks over at the interviewer before bowing politely and sitting down with a sigh of relief.

Please tell me about yourself.
"Well... I'm Sebastrian Alveri Prince, I'm a shifter, which is kinda like a shapeshifter, but I'm an alien race, so I'm slightly more 'advanced' than humans. Well, 'about myself'? Hmmm... Well, I'm a Warrior, and I'm over 500 years old, the story behind that, is overly complicated... I have the power over air and Psychic, so I can float. Cool right? Heh. I have a sister, Lyra Inkheart Prince. What else... I've made friends with a tenth and a third of a god, respectively different gods. I have Multiple Personality Disorder, except, different, I can control it with my necklace here. It's a long story as well. I'd continue telling you about it but I would probably bore you to death."
What is a typical day like for you?
"A typical day? Wow... That's a hard thing to describe... Well, normally I'm out in the field, gathering information on the enemy, due to my shifting abilities, I can blend easily. If I'm not doing field work, I'm normally training, or running from the guards..."
What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
"Well, when I'm not doing anything like my normal day... Well, I'm normally hanging out with friends, cooking with my son in his little restaurant or even painting with my sister. Or camping, me and a friend always go camping."
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
"Well, I'm hoping not dead.. Hehe... Well... I never thought this through, I see myself as the Kings right hand man, or a royal warrior."
Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
"I Had a special someone, but... I lost her to my father, he has been hunting me and my sister down for years, since we were kids... I had just managed to settle down with her, her name was Alida Geferi... Then we got married, and had a son, Dante... But when Dante was only two my father found her and Dante... I had managed to get there in time... To save Dante only..."

Anna walked towards the couch where the interviewer sat. If it had been a normal person interviewing people for a normal paper then of course she couldn't have talked to that person. But she knew that the person were a dimension traveler, it had interested her, and she might get to ask some questions in return afterwards.

Please tell me about yourself.
"I am Anna Blue. I was a normal human girl until I transferred to Valor Academy where I met my vampire boyfriend Damien. I got turned into a vampire by his enemy Gabriel just some weeks ago and right now I am trying to cope with the changes my body is going through..... Could we open a window? Your blood is making me a bit dizzy....
Anyway, I love to read, vampire books were my favorite. At least until recently. For the moment I must drink blood at least once a day to not feel like attacking people, but eventually the cravings will go down. At least that's what they're telling me.... I don't know what more to tell you haha."

What is a typical day like for you?
"Before I became a vampire it was to read, go to school, be with my boyfriend, stay away from all the other vampires. Now a days its mostly to try to keep myself sane, which is hard when it feels like peoples blood is screaming to me wherever I go. Luckily that won't last forever."

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
"As a human I watched movies, I'm not a movie person so it doesn't happen that often. Running away from vampires has happened a bit too often. Sometimes now and then I went out shopping, which really isn't my thing, but sometimes now and then doesn't hurt. Now as a vampire I really don't know. I haven't gotten in any regular activities yet, we'll just have to wait and see I guess."

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
"Hopefully out of Valor Academy, too many bad memories. I don't know if I can actually do what I wanted to do as a human since I don't age anymore. Maybe I'll start traveling once my blood cravings have gone down a bit. I have always dreamed about to see the world, now when I have all time in the world I know that I will have the chance to do so. But I don't know if it will happen in the next ten years or the next tent thousand haha."

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
"I'm not certain anymore. I still love Damien, I really do. But Gabriel was like a father to me for some time, and I think I fell for him if just for a moment. Also its this guy Christian, he is nice to me, he understands me. I don't know if I love him or not yet but I start to believe that its over for me and Damien. Everything is a bit too complicated between us right now."

(I will soooo do this again with another character xD this was so fun)

Handsome young man walks in but there is something off in the way he moves. As if he was some kind of predator, wolf waiting for the best moment to attack. His face is calm but his eyes are attentive. Sitting down on the couch non-chalantly, he crosses one leg over the other, nodding a greeting at the interviewer.

Please tell me about yourself.
My name is Christian and right now I am a student at Valor Academy where half of the students are humans and equal half is vampires. I am a vampire. No, no sparkles. Anyway, up until recently I was part of Gabriel's camp, but since he was "forced to leave" the academy I became indifferent...to some extent. There is not really much else to say about myself.

What is a typical day like for you?
Oh well, my typical day is studying, or at least pretending to. You know with an IQ higher than anyone else's I don't really need to attend classes but I have to. So what I usually do...I just let my mind...imagine things that, trust me, no one would like to know about.

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
Since the trial where Damien was punished for supposedly hurting Gabriel, I have taken great interest in Anna and so this will become my regular activity from now on, I guess.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
I see myself on the top of the world, literally.

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
Love only makes you weaker an vulnerable. The only special someone I ever had was the Big voice.

Grace sat in the corner of the cafe, hoping that she wouldn't be noticed. All she was going in there for was a bit of heat, but it seemed that luck did not act in her favor, for a someone did notice her, and even sat at her table. The worst was yet to come as the stranger began to speak, since Grace wasn't even social to begin with.
"Hello miss. Please tell me about yourself." the stranger asked in a friendly tone.
"What would you like to know? My name is Grace, and, um," her voice trailed off as she thought about what she should say. "And I'm fourteen. And home-schooled." She lied on the last statement, but she needed cover in case it was a weekday. She hardly kept track of time anymore, being that she had little connection to the world of humans.
"What is a typical day like for you?"
Grace paused at first, but then made up an answer. "Well, as I said, I'm home-schooled. And my mom teaches me." Her voice faltered at the word 'mom'. Her mom was a memory of the past. A memory now shrouded in raging flames. Her typical day was similar to the life of a homeless person, but she wasn't exactly homeless. Grace may have been houseless, but she had her variant of home. Her usual activity was foraging or shop-lifting. She had to get sustenance somehow. "I end school whenever the lesson is finished, then I'll draw or something."
"What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?"
"Um, I sometimes sculpt. Or paint. But I'm kinda bad at painting." It was an answer she would have given a few months ago. A few months that felt like forever.
"Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?"
Grace was starting to get into the rhythm of retouching memories of a few months ago. Memories that she would shove back to the corner of her mind once she left. She answered the question with an answer that applied then, and half applied now.
"I don't really know. I haven't looked that far ahead. College, I hope," she said. College was only in her wildest dreams by now.
"Do you have a special someone in your life right now?"
"No. I do not." was her quick reply. Truthfully, she didn't have any people really in her life. She did promise herself though, that in another week that she would get out more. Promised that she would change.
"Okay, thank you for the answering the questions." The interviewer smiled, and got up and went over to sit with another person.
Glad she was gone, Grace stood up as well, and left. She reminded herself to never come here again in case the chatty person was there. But what was she to do. She couldn't keep running from the world of humans forever. She's get out of the streets soon, she'd tell herself. Soon.

(I don't want to be in everyone's face but certain someone is pushing me to do another interview with another of my characters)

Young man, with dark hair and sinful eyes walks into the room. He is confident, but cold. His face does not show any sign of friendliness, neither hostility. Sitting down on the coach, he leans back and rests on of his arms on the backrest while scanning the interview with his gaze as if to guess who the person is...and possibly how much the interviewer is worth.

Please tell me about yourself.
I'm Gabriel. I used to be student of Valor Academy. In fact, I used to lead one of the factions within the academy that stood behind the tradition of vampires begin superior and humans just a food. I had enemies and one that I hate even know was Damien. He was, or maybe still is, I don't know, the leader of the opposing faction that wanted humans and vampires to live in harmony. Pathetic, isn't it? Anyway, he got this girl, Anna. She became his pairing and he went all crazy about her. In that time, my influence was decreasing and so the only way how to get back into the lead was the hurt Damien. So what I did was that I kidnapped his sweet little girl, turned her into a vampire and basically brainwashed her planning to use her as a weapon against Damien. You know, for some time she believed that Damien was the one at fault. It was rather enjoyable. Anyway, I should have known better. Damien found me quite soon, before I managed to finish what I started, and well...he ran a stake through me, killing me. I wonder what happened to him after breaking one of the main rules of our society.

What is a typical day like for you?
Now? I just dwindle in the land of dead, which is not that bad considering that there are still weaker souls than me that I can have fun with.

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
I hate on everyone in the living world. Clearly, I wasn't meant to be killed so early in life. It was all due to Anna's weakness for not being able to stand against Damien.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
Where do you think?!

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
Are you kidding me?! I am dead!

Lilith slammed the door open as she stormed in, her eyes ablaze in blood red and quickly moving from side to side almost as if in search for something. She noticed the interviewer and sneered, already annoyed by their presence. The interviewer after a shocked pause acknowledged her, asking if Lilith was here for the interview. Lilith glared at them and let a curse slip out of her mouth. "Damn that Cadas." She stomped over to the couch and plopped onto it and crossed her arms. "Yes, yes," She answered as she moved a hand back and forth, trying to block the smell that swirled around the person in front of her. "Let's get this quickly done with."

Please tell me about yourself.
Gritting her teeth at such a blatant and bland statement, she answered, snippets of irritation obvious in her voice, "Lilith Astrickh. I am a demon most known for cutting down my enemy just because they defy me and because I enjoy seeing people ripped to shreds by my scythe." A small smile formed on her face as she took a minute to pause and watch the person squirm anxiously. "I am high class, my blood runs from the Elders, so it's natural for everyone and anything to be feared by me. I was brought into this pathetic world as well with others, to be used as a warrior in a future onslaught against humans." She narrowed her eyes and scowled. "Unfortunately, your wretched kind stormed our realm and kidnapped me as well as the others. You tortured me by no ends and ridden me of my wings, binding me to your confounded spell. I was rendered useless as a demon warrior being that I cannot even transform to my full nature. Obviously, I am alive today because I was rescued. And that, is that. Next question."

What is a typical day like for you?
"Hmm," Lilith had to laugh hysterically as she thought about this. "It should be obvious, shouldn't it? Kill, eat, sleep, and kill." She stopped laughing and sighed as she rubbed the temples of her head, remembering that there was something else besides that. Reluctantly, she spoke again, "I'm traveling with a companion, hoping he'll come across some life-threatening situation. I owe him my life. Though, if it were me, he'd be dead by now but a life for another life, even if his is meaningless."

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
Lilith had to stare, astonished at the simple question. "You are now," she scoffed, "wasting my time."

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
A devilish grin lit up her face and a chuckle came out of her, " Hopefully I'm the one who eradicates you and everything that is alive on this world."

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
As quick her grin came, the sooner it disappeared and her face darkened. She stood up haughtily with her fists clenched. She looked away as she tried to control her emotions. This was a touchy subject for her and she didn't know if she should answer this or hurt the one asking it. "Silvius." She whispered and gritted her teeth at the word. "He's the only one I consider special, despite he's dead. I'm assuming we're done here? Good." Lilith rushed out of the room and flung the door behind her harshly, not wasting a second to escape. She knew the next time she saw Cadas, she swore he would get a beating so bad for this.

Please tell me about yourself.
Spurius sighed, giving his eyes a quick roll before he looked at the interviewer. "I'm Spurius Impes of the Petrinoll Empire. I'm a half Rhodetzian, half human son of an overly curious noblewoman who happened to be a warrior as well. I was raised by my noble uncle, since war quickly broke out between the Rhodetzian province and the rest of the empire, with my mother and father leading their respective forces. With my uncle I was given the benefits of an education, he took me to see plays and read stories about great heroes and legendary feats of bravery. Unfortunately, both my mother and father wanted me back, probably to use as a psychological weapon against the other. If I had to pick who I enjoyed being with more, it would probably have to be my father. He was rather friendly, treating me far better than mother did... Anyways, this cycle of kidnapping continued for at least sixteen years, until my uncle had enough of it and sent me to live with his close friend in the city of Vitranolei. There, they discovered I showed signs of magic potential, so they sent me to a mage's college, where I learned how to harness my stress and frustration into more... useful forms." He snaps his fingers and creates a small flame to demonstrate. "Before I could finish my education, though, Vitranolei became yet another warzone, and I was forced to flee from the chaos and anarchy that soon reigned. I found myself in another country entirely and now I'm staying in a small kingdom. I work as a blacksmith's apprentice part-time, and when I'm not doing that I'm either hunting to make fur pelts or I'm reading about history. Anything else you need to know?"
What is a typical day like for you?
He groaned in frustration. "Of course you did. Anyways, I usually start it by getting out of bed, cooking some meat, eating it, and putting on my armor and fur pelts. After that I go outside and help my trainer, Faber, with his work. Afterwards I either go hunting or I dig into some ancient scrolls and find out more about the world."
What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
"I do enjoy seeing travelling performers or plays whenever they're put on.."

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
"I see myself strangling my mother for all the hell she's put me through." He chuckles darkly. "Sorry, bad joke... Anyways, I'm not sure. I hope that once I've raised enough money I can buy a horse and become a travelling historian and researcher, jotting down what life is like all over the world."
Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
"Not really. Love is a bit of a low priority right now until I've got my life stabilized. If that is all, I'll be leaving." He stands up from his seat and walks out, a silent smirk on his face as he closed the door.

The woman's eyes are dark, the small fire flickering in their depths as she stares back across to the interviewer in front of her. She sits motionless, contemplating the risks of sharing pieces of herself with this stranger. She lets her shoulders relax, feeling that there really isn't any harm to answering a few questions. Her hands open outwards, her eyes close, indicating that the interview should start. Clicking her pen, the Interviewer begins.

"Please tell me about yourself."

The woman takes a short intake of breath. It almost sounds like a laugh. "My name is Xamantha, though many shorten it to Xam." Her left fingers twitch. Uncaring. "I will answer to both." She looks down into the fire, wondering what should be said, and what needs to be kept secret. "I lived in a small forest community until recent events forced me to leave." Her left hand sweeps out to the side, as if she were pushing the topic away. Her home is not up for further discussion. "I am a hunter by trade, just as my father was, and his father before." Her left hand clenches gently. This history is something she takes pride in. "However," There is a pause, another debate, before deciding a partial truth is no lie. "I am not a hunter of animals." She falls quiet again, waiting for the next question.

"What is a typical day like for you?"

"I wake early, and travel far. I am always traveling." Her fingers twitch. "People ask why. I tell them I am searching. They ask what." Her fingers curl, almost as if she was smiling with her hand. "It is not a what." Her hand clenches hard with unmistaken anger. "It is who. Many "who"s. And I shall find them all." There is a moment of tense silence, before she continues. "If I find them, in packs or alone, I hunt them." Her fingers brush against her knee, as if she were flicking away dirt. "Their blood is as green as their skin. It stains even metal, meaning that there is always much cleaning to be done."

"What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?"

Xamantha is thoughtful a moment. "It is rare that I do anything other than my hunt. However, there have been times." Her fingers smile again. "Sometimes I find friends. People who think as I do. We share drinks and stories. We do not travel together, though." Her hand clenches tight, though her eyes are distant. "The hunt is mine to finish."

"Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?"

"Traveling." Her fingers twitch. "I will always be travelling. The long road is my home now." Her fingers splay, her hand reaching forward into the darkness. "Perhaps I will be done the hunt." She quickly sweeps her hand to the side, preventing further questions into the topic.

"Do you have a special someone in your life right now?"

It is the wrong question to ask. In an instant, Xamantha's eyes are cold and hard again, her hand clenched tight. "Very special. He is last in the hunt." She mumbles. Her left hand makes a sharp cutting motion, and she stands. It is obvious that she is not open to any further questions as she goes about cleaning her weapons.

Elvira settled herself down in her favourite arm chair, and she smiled sweetly at the interviewer. "Hi, I'm Elvira Summers." She introduced herself happily, a smile on her face, and then the interviewer began the questions.

Please tell me about yourself.

"Well, I'm kind of a tomboy. I would much rather play football with my guy mates, than find some girls to go shopping with. My idea of an ideal date is going to a football match, and then Nandos afterwards." Elvira giggled. "But yeah. I've lived in East Bowling, Bradford, in Yorkshire since I was about four, which is when I met my best friend Zayn. He's been with me the whole time growing up, and we've been friends since the day we met."
"I went to Tong High School, and I wasn't very popular, but I had my best friend, and some other close mates, so I was happy. My favourite subject was always English, because I love writing - poetry, song lyrics, short stories, anything! Maybe now that I've left school, I'll be able to try and start writing a novel. That's my ultimate dream."

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
Elvira paused and thought for a moment, before she grinned and replied, "I hang out with my Zayn-Bear. That's my nickname for him, since he got me a cute teddy bear for one of my birthdays when I was younger. He calls me Princess El." A light blush tinted her cheeks, but she continued, "We are pretty much inseparable - we play football together whenever possible, and he comes and supports me when I'm playing for the Bradford girls football team. That hasn't happened in a while though since he's been away with his band on tour. We still Skype every night, and call and text, but it isn't quite the same." The petite brunette sighed. "Anyway, I also love loistening to music. I have quite eclectic tastes in music, since I like lots of different genres, from pop to even some hard-core rock music."

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?

"In five to ten years? Hmm..." Elvira mused. "I think I'll be settled with a family, a husband, and a child. An adorable little child with her daddy's black hair and brown eyes, and his colouring-" Elvira blushed, and cut herself off there. "I mean, I don't know what the father will look like, since I don't fancy anyone of that description." She said unconvincingly.

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?

Elvira's blush deepened at the question, and she looked down at her hands, silent for a long moment. When she finally replied, she confessed shyly, "Zayn Malik's been my best friend for nearly all my life, but I often wish he could be more... that he would see me the way I see him; as more than a sibling or a best friend." With that said, she excused herself, and hurried out.

Please tell me about yourself.
"Me name be Alfonso Green-Thumb, milord. Spawn of the mortal alchemist, Cagliostro, and maid of the Fair Folk of the Woods."

What is a typical day like for you?
"I wake in the morning upon my bed of flower-petals, and Midsummer's sun shines brightly upon the fey grass of my land, which never fades. I drink deeply of nectar from the lilies of the field, and eat the honey of bees, and the soft cheese and bread and pea soup that my mother brings to me on occasion, or I prepare such things myself from the plants which are my garden and my home. I wash myself in the crystal waters of the spring which lies not an hour's walk from where I dwell, and speak awhile with the Ashrays there. I prance about the Hedge, tending to its limbs and branches, its leaves and its flowers and its earth. I pick the finest berry of my garden and bake the finest bread of my home, and take it to my Grandmother, the Lady of the Woods, Baba Yaga of the Mortar. After speaking with her awhile, I oil the door and the gate, and give food to the cat and the mouse and the barghest, and return to my home. At times I visit my mother in the woods. Then I have my supper, and sleep once more upon my bed."

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
"I visit the many realms of Faerie, most often the Summer Court where my good friend the Prince lives, or at times visit the mortal lands to see what changes have come."

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
"Much the same, as it has always been in Faerie, where time has no meaning and a thousand years might mean a day."

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?
"Alas that I do not! But perhaps one day, when the Summer's Sun is high above, or the Winter's Moon be glimmering upon the woods, and some mortal girl or dryad comes, and we find each other a-wandering upon the eves of the Hedge..."

The Interviewer's Questions:

Please tell me about yourself.
"Well names are a good start I assume. My name is Vivienne G. Wells and my middle name is a tip of the hat to the father of science fiction, H. G. Wells. I grew up in the upper-west part of Essex and am the second half of a set of identical twins."

What is a typical day like for you?
"Well I start my day normally waking up next to the sleeping form of a beautiful woman or fairly attractive man. Starting the day with some laughs and a breakfast of toast and eggs with a bit of coffee, I eventually leave for my day job. During the hours from nine to twelve in the afternoon, I host at a local art gallery for the smaller morning shows. After that I head home for a quick lunch before heading out to spend a few hours of my day with my beautiful niece while her father is at work. A few hours after that I head home to change and go off to my night job as a bartender at this adorable little piano bar down the street form my apartment."

What do you do when you are not doing what you regularly do?
"If I'm not out with my niece or working, I try to make a point to spend time with friends. Out of everything, I really enjoy dancing and learning new languages, so I try to put my free time into that. If there's a good club nearby, you can probably find me there."

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?
"In the next five to ten years, I hope to see myself with someone who is going to stick around for more than a few days. Outside of that, I don't see much of a change in my life. I like it just the way it is now."

Do you have a special someone in your life right now?

The tall brunette gives a soft, wry, chuckle. "I've taken many lovers in the past few months, but no one sticks around longer than a week."
