I am fine with either one. Maybe people can pick which one they want? It is fair to say that Nova WOULD have a crew, but maybe he is picking some more up at the beginning of the RP.
*shrugs* Just an idea.

I also can't see your character picture. I thought it was the browser I was using (because sometimes Chrome doesn't like me,) but I looked on at in another one and it doesn't show up. How will we know how much of a lady's man Nova is? XD

I like the idea of choosing, that way we can roll with a small, pre-established crew and let anyone who wants to have a "fresh" origin jump right in when we land on a planet!

Everyone hears the reputation of the "Wandering Nova", only to see he's a skinny "meh" looking dude rather then a big-burly superhero space-captain.
 
So how does everyone feel about the "Some of us are already on the ship and we pick up the rest at the first stop" idea?
 
That is fine by me, just a matter of deciding who is already aboard and who is being picked up.
 
Well there's still a good amount of people from the int. check who haven't shown up here yet, so I'm gonna go see if they're still interested.

But maybe half, if not 1/4 of the cast? Maybe 2-4 people who have specific skill sets like Gemma or Spanner, to use examples from our cast.
 
Well, my background already said Gemma got picked up by Moonage Daydream back on her home planet, so... yeah. Sure I could change it, but I don't wanna.
 
I'm personally fine with Spanner already being aboard and working.

Cool beans. Cool beans. Guess I should have given him a more attractive main perk than "asshole with a gun." Eh well. He'll be useful if we decide to have a mid-space ship battle, and have to board it. I mean he'll be useful all the time with his generally intimidating a rude demeanor. Hooray ex-space pirate.

Personal Style
The suit

Known as "the living suit", Casspian's suit is crafted from the finest of nanometal technology. Composed of a new metal alloy his creators refer to as "Vibranium" (of course named after their favorite superhero). How the suit lives is that it melds to the body through the nanotechnology, communicates with Casspian through constant analysis, and is able to reshape itself, camouflage itself, or even change its texture if need be.

A living shield; however, not to say it does not have its own weaknesses. If he were to recieve a concentrated, electric shock, it would disrupt to make-up and structure of his suit, causing it to liquify on the spot for a limited time.

The suit has 2 modes: service mode and battle mode. When battle mode is initiated, a helmet molds itself to Casspian's head, connecting him to the suit and fully protecting him.

Weapons and Equipment
"I believe you will find my weapons appropriate."

NimbX300 Gama Blaster: taking new technology even further, scientist managed to harness Gamaray energy, concetrating it into single blasts, ranging from levels 1-10. Level 1 is a stunning blast, where as 10 is "blow a fucking hole in the wall"....These are located in Casspian's arms, which will reshape to form the cannon when needed.

Miniature Propulsion Rockets: These are used to enhance speed and agility, increase height in jumps, allow for temporary flight, increase power behind strikes. Located in his legs and shoulders.

V8 Scanner: Built into his head, this is less of a weapon and more of an advantage, allowing him to scan his environment for threats, scan friends and enemy vitals, scan damage taken to self, aim, access data, Night Vision, Heat Vision, Sonar, Radiation tester, etc....pretty Badass stuff...every hacker's dream.

Bluetooth: Being with the Captian for 2 years means that Casspian has fallen prey to a few of the Captain's experiments, one of them being Bluetooth, allowing Casspian to hook up to Captian Dylan's music and play it when needed...Only on request or command...for it is rather embarrassing.

Vibranium Blades: When in battle mode, Casspian can create Vibranium blades from his hands, allowing for lethal hand to hand combat...because Dylan is not the type to kill, Casspian rarely uses these.

Comic books: No one knows why Casspian has grown to love idea of Super heros, especially Superman...whom Casspian believes he is from time to time. He keeps a few spare comics with him; one superman, one Deadpool, and one avengers.

A.I.: Casspian has been installed with the newest of A.I. technology, allowing him to learn nearly 200x faster than that of his Android counterparts.

Personal Characteristics

Personality
Casspian is an Android. Because of this, his AI has collected data on human speech patterns and personalities, when he has composited into what he has viewed and the best qualities. He is rather snarky for a Robot, quick witted with a surprising sense of humor (that is to be expected with who he works for). He is a bit of a smartass, never afraid to let you know if you have done something stupid, or are on the verge of doing something stupid...not to say he is not polite. His natural service programming makes him a natural born gentleman, giving him natural charisma and a way with words...in a sense.
He can be rather blunt. Being that he lacks the ability to maintain tact, he can come off brutally honest at times, which has allowed for a few sticky situations.
Casspian is naturally inquisitive, wishing to gain more and more knowledge of the universe around him. He lacks most practical knowledge of quite a few things, being that he is only 2 years old; however, being that he learns exceedingly fast, there is little for him to worry about.

He has a high sense of valour, wishing to protect those weaker than him mainly because it is in his programing to.

He is logical, to the point where is is hard for him to understand humans and their illogical decisions. He is still learning, but Captian can be confusing with his refusal to kill bad guys...and Casspian can't kill them if he is ordered not to...

When needed, Casspian can be compassion and comfortimg, although he would have to access records of that traits...All and all, Casspian seems very human at times, even though all of his personality is a composite of learned traits he deems appropriate for the mission.

Biography
Casspian was created 2 years ago as a Protype for the new "Protection Droid" a Japanese company under G.L.I.P was engineering to replace most of the droids currently in service, enhanced with the brand new AI, this Android was suppose to be the newest "super soldier", able to make quick decisions, lead its own Battalions, and learn at 200x the speed of any human; however, with that AI came many reprocussions. As soon as the Droid was created, it started showimg signs of rebellion, the biggest being its refusal to be referred to as Pro X, saying it had a name and wished to be referred to as such.

After only a month of in service, Casspian's rebellion stretched further after seeing what was happening to the robots he was replacing: destruction...death...decommissioning. Casspian decided it would be best to leave, halting the destruction of his robot comrades.

Leaving Japan, Casspian took refugee at a nearby port, where he came into contact with a man named Dylan. Upon meeting him, it was discovered that Dylan was searching for a Crew to run his new ship: "The Moonage Daydream". Casspian took advantage of this and joined..

and it's all history from there...2 years with the crew has earned Casspian a solid spot, not to mention that he has helped the crew out of quite a few sticky situations. Dylan and the rest of The crew has influenced Casspian greatly, molding him into the droid today...a total Badass.
