The year is 2032. Not much has changed technology-wise, but politics? Well they got scrapped around a decade ago. America, the land of the free. Literally, at least on the third saturday of every month anyway. The current government is corrupt. The only way they can stay in power is by bestowing the same chaos they face on the general public, and so, they created Injustice day (no references to the game please). Injustice day is held once a month, on the third saturday. From 6AM until 8PM, nothing is against the law - everything is legal. Due to this, the states are in a perpetual cycle of chaos and order. The times of order tend to be rebuilding after the chaos, and because no one is organised enough anymore, there is no one to overthrow the government. Interestingly however, there is still morals on these days. Many people refuse to participate in the event, and those who would do most damage on them have already been eliminated. Few guns are seen nowadays. The most common weapons seem to be nailed baseball bats, woodcutting axes, and projectiles constructed of left over gravel.
