Harry Potter hasn't been feeling well as of late, maybe it's the weather or something he ate, but he is bed-ridden at the moment. He hates it, as he has nothing to do but read, and watching muggle TV. His God parents Sirius and Severus checks in on him every once in a while, Sirius is his head off that he might be dying or something. He has took a potion for the pain, but it doesn't seem to be working.

"Sirius, I advise you to calm down, worrying will not help." Severus Is standing right next to the sitting wizard that is watching over the young Potter.

"He's been in Pain all day, we don't know what's wrong with him! This is making me go mad." Sirius growls as he held Harry's hand.

"I'm fine, Sirius, don't worry." Harry grunts, squirming a bit before the potion master approaches him. He is give this healing drought, even though he doesn't like it one bit. It does help, but in a few hours it would be back up again. "Thanks Severus...but I still don't feel any better..." He sighs, leaning more into his pillow. The man nods, and places a hand on Sirius' shoulder.

"We cannot smother him like this, the lest we can do is wait for the healer" He told Black softly, kissing him on the forehead making Sirius with in defeat.

"Alright...Harry, if you need us, we won't get far." He told him, standing up, and walking out together. Harry watches them, and the drought made him sleepy, so he closed his eyes to sleep it off.

An almost white haired man walked through the corridors as people rushed past him. Why was everybody so concerned? Though the curiosity inside of him, lured him towards a crowd of students. He rose one eyebrow, hearing the words Potter and mysterious illness, in what mess did that Potter get himself into? "Get out of my way.." He mumbled as a student bumped into him. "Draco?" One girl said out loud towards the Slytherin student.

Draco sighed heavily, pushing his way through the crowd towards a teacher. "
What is happening now? Did Potter catch a cold?" He huffed out "Poor little boy.." The glare of his teacher did make him flinch a few inches back. Was it that serious? He huffed once more, before wondering where his potion teacher was at. With a flick of his wand, Draco used apparition to transport himself to Snape.

To his own surpise, Snape wasn't is in the school. Draco noticed Harry in the other room. He looked directly at Sirius, if his uncle was here, that did mean something big was going on. "
In school they said it was something mysterious.. Is it contagious? If so, then I'm out of here.."

Harry closed his eyes, but he couldn't really sleep since those pings of pain keeping him awake. He jumps when he felt something else other than pain. It was some kind of relief, and he can not explain why he is feeling this way.

Sirius and Severus were outside of the room when Draco apparated inside of the house. "Draco, what are you doing here?" The potion master asked him. He should be in school right about now. " I see...you are clearly worried about him. We summoned a healer, so she should be here any minute. It's not contagious by the way. "

"Are you serious?" Draco spat out those words when Snape mentioned being concerned about Potter. "Why would I be concerned about him?" A smug expression upon his pale face, Draco was obviously overcompensating for something. He turned on his feet, pulling the wand out of his pocket. "I came to you because you were supposed to teach us right now.." He tapped his wand against his watch, which said it was 9:15am. Lessons were supposed to start at Hogwarts, yet normal students wouldn't mind skipping a class.

"If he has some kind of mysterious illness, why hide it?" His blue eyes focused on Sirius, then back to Snape. "Ask that Weasel and that Mudblood to dive into the books, there must be something in there that could help him.." Draco lifted up his wand, almost ready to teleport him back to school.

"I was just about to leave, you need to be patient." Severus said, as he sighs. " I'm going to use the Floo , you should follow me. " he offered, since his classroom has a fireplace and can easily go back whenever he pleased. Sirius stood up, glaring down at the young man when he has done something stupid.

"What have I told you about using that word, you little wanker?" He has told him time and time again to respect others, but it seems that he still doesn't get it. Severus also sees annoyed at this as well.

"I'll talk with him, Sirius. Right now we-" his attention turns to the bedroom as Harry started to scream in sheer agony, and this prompt them to run into the room where Harry is tossing and turning on his bed.

"It hurts! It hurts!" There is something poking from his back, what looks to be two sharp bones pushing out of the body.

"Oh my god, I think I know what this is..." Sirius has this pale look on his face to see that his godson is suffering in unimaginable pain. " He....He is having his Inheritance. "

A smirk appeared upon his slender lips. "Did I hit a sensitive spot?" The smug expression on Draco's face never left as he took a step closer Sirius. "What will you do about it?" His finger on his wand twitched lightly, he would be ready to strike at any given moment. "I offered an idea, you should be glad I am wasting time on Potter.." He turned on his heels towards the potion teacher, who also wasn't content with Draco.

Though the smug was wiped off his face as the scream echoed throughout the whole house. A little concerned look appeared in his eyes. To his own surprise he ran with Snape towards Harry. There he remained quiet until a diagnosis was confirmed. "Inheritance..? What do you mean with that?" Draco turned his head away from the bones pressing up against his back. Draco had seen a lot, but this was probably one of the worst things he had seen. "Care to explain it your diagnosis, so we can make him stop screaming like a little girl?"

"You little git, if you don't like it, you can leave!" Sirius growls at Draco, not putting up with his nonsense as he is focused on Harry. "Oh god, why didn't I see this? Why didn't James tell me? " he writes under his teeth. The bones are protruding more out of his back, and Harry is still in hand as bones are moving slowly.

"Gah! D-Draco..." He does notice the other boy in the room, and he reach out his hand. "Please, hold my hand." He begs, as Harry doesn't know why he has requested such a thing, he is suppose to dislike Draco, but he felt that it will lessen the pain.

Draco didn't flinch back at the sudden growl from Sirius. "You shouldn't expect anything else from me.." He grinned at the rugged-looking man. Though the screams did manage to change his behavior slightly, were things really going that badly with Harry? In between the screams of agony, Draco heard his name. He looked down towards Harry, hesitantly stepping closer. "What?" He said in a monotone voice. He furrowed his dark brows after hearing that strange request. "Are you cr--.." He silenced himself, noticing the pain in Harry's eyes.

His hand accepted the plea, though he refused to wrap his fingers around the trembling hand. "Will somebody explain to me what this is..?" He asked without making a horrible remark. "What is this illness..?"

Harry sighs, he is still in pain, but not as much as soon as Draco held his hand. "...T-Thank you..." He sighs, wincing a bit.

"Look at this, Sirius. Do you know what this means?" Severus turns to him, which made the man sigh.

" Yeah...oh god. " Sirius punch the bridge of his nose. "Draco, it's not an illness, his body is changing. It's called an inheritance. It's rare in the wizarding world, and it means that his family have the blood of a magical being that is semi human. Most likely married into the family, and their blood passed from generation to generation, transforming into whatever...just like me."

This sounded even more strange to Draco. "Inheritance..?" He looked down at Harry, scrunching up his nose as the boy spoke up. This gesture felt so out of character for him, but he couldn't gather the courage to pull his hand away. "So eventually the pain will go away and he'll be able to transform into a dog?" He smirked a bit, turning his face towards Sirius.

"So how long until the transformation is done?" He looked down to his hand. "I don't want to stay here any longer than needed.. I have other plans."

"Draco, there is something else. Your presence is lessening his pain, you would have to stay here for as long as he is changing. It may take an hour, but I'll inform the headmistress." Severus said, as he noticed that Harry isn't yelling in pain anymore when Draco held his hand, which can only mean one thing. "It would be long, but now we know what he is going through, the rest will be easy. "

Of course this wouldn't be over after they had explained what the chosen one had. "You've got to be kidding me.." Draco abruptly pulled his hand away from Harry, turning his attention directly at Snape. "Did you use one of your potions? Because you seem to have forgotten who I am.." He looked at the clock on the wall. "I try to keep my distance from blood traitors." He huffed before walking away from Harry's bed.

There was no way Draco Malfoy would stay willingly near Potter. Since Snape seemed to have lost his mind, Draco decided on leaving without him. He got out his wand to conjure himself back towards Hogwarts. "You know how my family feels about Muggle-lovers.." That was the last thing Draco said before conjuring apparition to teleport himself in his own room.

Severus sighs when Draco left them. "I tried to make him see reason..." He frowns as he is unsuccessful in that, he turns back to Harry who has calmed down, the worse is possibly over for now, but the poor boy has a lot a head of him. "This might take a few hours of days...I do not want to leave him."

" you can go back, I'll keep my eyes on him. " Sirius said, understanding that he needs to get back to Hogwarts.

The strange visit to Potter didn't seem to faze Draco at all, he just immediately went to his closet to take out his cloak and his books. Due to this little break, it seemed like he was almost late for his potion class. He grumbled before hurrying towards the right room. he pushed open the door, noticing Snape standing in front of the class. Of course he was on time.

With a glare directed towards the potion teacher, Draco sat down on the first free spot he found. This time he wasn't sitting next to Pansy, who seemed clearly confused by this action. She turned her head towards Draco, but he had locked his eyes onto his books. At this moment, he did not want to look at anybody, especially not to Snape. Maybe this situation with Potter was bothering him? In frustration he ran his hands through his platinum blonde hair.

Class begun as soon as every student entered into class. Ron is here, and he frowns as he doesn't get to see his best friend, it's been a few days, what is going on? He wanted to talk to the potion teacher after class, and that is what he did when class is over. "Professor, do you know why Harry isn't in school?" He asked him, concerned that something might have happened .

Once the redhead went up towards the potion teacher, Draco couldn't help but eavesdrop. He put his hands in his pockets and walked nonchalantly over to Ron. "Are you lonely Weasley?" He smirked lightly, turning on his heels to look where his fellow students were at. Though, the curiosity got the better of him. He walked over to Snape to listen what he had to say about Potter to Weasley. "Well, what's wrong with Potter?" He lifted his gaze towards Snape, who had kept Harry's illness a secret. He wondered if there had been any big changes.
