The creature, despite being momentarily invisible, was pushing down the shrub in front of it to make it's presence known. With a swing of it's arm, it clawed a tree, leaving massive gashes in the bark. It opened it's jaws and closed them, making a loud snapping noise as it's teeth collided. It spoke, with a voice that sounded like a calm whisper.

"That's a very odd thing to say... you don't know what that thing is."
It growled, but resumed it's calm manner.
"But who am I to start a fight? My flesh is frail and my bones are brittle, my only defense would be that I can't be seen... but that would not help while he points my location."
It let go of the plant in front of it, and started to back up.
"I will return at a more opportune time, maybe by the time I'm back... my prey will already be slain?"

On the other hand, the young man remained silent, he lowered his sword, but did not sheath it.
"He buggered off... He'll certainly be back... but who and what are you?"

The beast's disappearance did nothing to boost his feelings about his situation. He didn't want to use any more powers, but he expected he might have to.
