It was far from the crack of dawn, but still 7am on a Saturday was early. It would have been hellishly early for him. The thought brought a mischievous grin on her face. Diana Smith was an early bird. She had to be if she wanted to ever keep up with her job without hybernating in her bed during weekends. Between a full time junior zookeeper job, a community center volunteer and a Harris Hawk of her own, it was a miracle she managed to find time to pester him as much as she did.
Her target's room was on the first floor and being relatively fit and a garage roof to work off, it was not that hard to reach his window. It had not been the first time to have done it either, but she always made sure to let enough time go by so the jumpscare would have maximum effect every time. Perching herself on the windowsill, her grin widened. "YO KNUCKLEHEAD! UP AND AT THEM! ON THE DOUBLE!" She called out, banging once on his window and then attempting to open it. With any luck, the idiot would have left it unlocked and she would be able to barge in and throw him off the bed military style.
They had places to be, though not so early in the morning admitedly.
