Hearing of the fourth wall, Jeriko shook his head and jumped down from the balcony, unfurling his wings to their full size to slow his descent, before hiding them again with a slight tinge of pain as his feet touched the ground, crossing his arms as he stood near the one the words came from, doing his best to not be seen or heard until he spoke.
"Nobody's gonna break any dimensional walls, because if you tell all of these people that they're just avatars in a game, it's gonna make the ones that believe you panic and start a big ruckus...
It took 734-1/2 years to fully rebuild this place after the last incident, so it's gonna be one heck of a problem if you get people to believe you..."
He smiled as he walked over to his ground floor desk and pulled a large, fleshy book from a shelf behind it, handing it to the boy after turning to a specific page which dictated the incident, the words and images on the page appearing as if they were catalogued in blood, his face taking on a stern look as he gently tapped the page, the images moving as if a screen were inside of it, showing the incident in full, until finally stopping at the image that it started as.
"573 people were critically injured. 172 teachers, 401 students, that was half the school. It's a miracle that no one died, well, save the ones that had already been dead to begin with."
He turned and smiled at the pair before walking backwards towards the stairs.
"By the way, class is starting in five minutes, so if you have anything you need to do, you better do it now, because I can be a pretty strict teacher. That is, if you get on my bad side."
After he was done speaking, he winked at them and ascended the stairs, taking his place at his desk on the balcony, leaning back in his chair and placing his feet on it as he waited for the students in his class to take their seats in front of him.
