Here is a collection of photos found across the internet that I randomly put together. You can interpret them as whatever you want, whether it be literally or metaphorically. What you do as a writer is one of these three things:

1. Create a character, taking inspiration from these photos.

2. Come up with a setting, plot, or just a detailed post with references to these photos.

3. Write a poem with these pictures in mind.

Remember you don't have to use all of the photos in your final creation, but props to you if you manage to do so.

Challenge accepted! that one is supposed to be just blue right?

I want to fly.
Soar on balloons above the clouds, encasing the world I despise.
I want to get away.
Open a window to a new beginning and just take in the breathless joy.
I want to destroy the chains that bind me.
The laughs, the riducule, the idiocity of the world we know.
I see blue.
Just blue, slipping away from my mind, leaving me no worries.
I'm falling.
The sky is now gone, the world no longer chains me.
I am no longer bound to this world.

Yes it is the color blue.

My name is Jay, and Im done. I cant take not another second.
Im getting out of here if its the last thing I do.
I want to be free. To be free of this bondage.
To break the chains that hold me back from my dreams and my desires.
I want to do this because I want to.
Not because you told me to.
Not because I dont have a choice.
But because I want to.
Because I want to..
Im done with this.
So if you're reading this right now, Warden.
Its because I did it and you couldnt stop me.
And I got through that window you left there. Just for me.
That window that always let in the coolest breezes in the desert that was this room.
Let in the air that I could never get into my oxygen starved lungs.
And showed me the blue I could never reach beyond the clouds.
Becuase you thought you won.
You didnt.
And Im laughing now, floating high and never coming down.
You couldnt beat me and I got the best of you.
I won.

Frank had always been a strange boy,
Of that there was no doubt.
'You can take to the skies, Frankie!
Is what they would shout.
Paid them no heed did Frank,
while planning his oversea's route.

A vest of blue,
made from his bed sheets,
In combination with metal links,
repeat after repeat.
Finally, a large cloister of balloons,
were sure to keep him off the streets.

One look at the window,
and Frankie the aviator flew.
Right out the window,
and that was the last he knew!

the sky is blue in my dreams
the time has come to fly away
its the time to think of the blue sun
why am i chaind up in a world of no hope
why am i in a world of nothing but me
why does haven give me nothing
i'm fallng
i'm falling down and down to the ocen loor
to nothing never more to a cry rvaie stream
but lost in a forgoting dream
but when i open my eyes it was alljust a dream
i truly loking out my window
and in o the blue sky

When I look at the sky
I often feel I want to fly
But not in the way you think
Because I'm slowly being pushed to the brink

I'll break the chain
The one that binds me to this world in vain
I will no longer feel as if I'm being crushed
And this last goodbye may seem a little rushed

Tell mom this is not her fault
Tell my father that this is the terrible result
Of my own conviction
Not another's jurisdiction

One step off the stone ledge
And down I go, straight over the edge
Suddenly I am encompassed with fear
Screaming goodbye to everything I held dear

I was once drowning in a sea of pain
But now I no longer feel an ounce of disdain
Pray heaven takes me in
With forgiveness for this selfish sin

He was flying, soaring, sailing across the sky, seated in a harness and carried by a multitude of colored balloons. The wind was gentle, the vast blue expanse of the heavens above him and the wide sea of rolling hills below.

He was fastened to the rig by a series of strong but light cables. His friends on the ground had suggested strong iron chains, but that idea had been dismissed in preference of something lighter. He was glad of it. Getting off the ground would have been a great deal more difficult. And he was comfortable now as he sailed along.
Pop He jerked in alarm at the sound.

Pop

Pop, pop, pop

Suddenly he was falling, tumbling spiraling through the air. Where one moment there had been rolling hills beneath him suddenly there was a city street, and then a flower field, and then a forest –

He woke with a start. Sitting up in the bead he looked out his open window at the large expanse of open beach shining in the daylight outside. He took a deep breath calming himself, releaved it was just a dream.

One thing was sure, he was going to need more balloons.
