Sleep had been nice. Dreamless for most on this night. It wasn't sudden, but it wasn't clear when it happened. There was a dreamscape filled with swirling colors of pink, purple, green, blue, yellow. Inside was only a girl with a small animal perched on her shoulder. She wasn't looking at anywhere in particular. And yet she spoke. And her words were directed to the others who shared this dream

"H-Hello?... Um... Hi, uh, is this thing even on? I've never contacted this many people before... Oh! Ahem... Greetings young human boy! My name is Sonia! I'm from a far away land, which has been overtaken by an evil entity... Hate now rules my world... So that's why I am contacting you. Because we can't take her on alone! We need you! But also, your world needs you too. She will not rest until the universe is consumed by Hate. But there is still Hope. I need to meet you all as soon as I can, so please! I've already contacted the girls, and they should be there soon! Meet me at Senturu Park right now, as soon as you can! Huh! I need to go so please, Wake U-!"

Plot Overview

---

Six boys are shocked when a young girl, by the name of Sonia contacts them in their dreams, told that they are the only hope of the world. They are all told to meet at Central Park, where they find out that six girls were also called to action. The girls were given powers, becoming Magical Girls!...The guys however are not exactly pleased to find out they are Partners with a Magical Girl!?!

In I'm Partners... With a Magical Girl?! 6 Girls (The Magical Girls) will gain magic powers called, Aspects of Love. The Girls are referred to as the Aspects, while The Boys become the Sources of their magical power. This however turns the partners into a cute fluffy animal whenever their partner is transformed. They are trying to defeat a mysterious entity only known as "Hate." The only way to defeat "Hate" is for the Aspects of Love: Passion, Empathy, Joy, Stability, and Hope, to all work together. However, they are still students and teenagers. Thus they still have their lives to live filled with school, home life and drama of all kinds.

AI CITY
Ai City is a large, metropolitan city, with some of the finest technology avaliable. It is renowned for its cleanliness, transit systems, and school system. It is hard to find a city better than Ai City in all of Japan. Of course it isn't perfect, and there are still a fair amount of problems, but ultimately it is a great place to live and grow up as a kid. The Population is about 300,000 people.

Senturu Park
A large, well kept park which is frequented by children, teenagers, and adults alike. It has a nice playground which is usually filled with children on their days off, and after school. It also has lots of Semi-Forested Paths, which people often walk down, just to enjoy the view, and a moderately sized lake in the center.

Jinchi "School" District
The Jinchi District has been dubbed the "School" District due to the layout of the city. Most schools in the city happen to be in this general area. They happen to be two large school buildings, one an all boys school, Kishi Academy, and the all girls school, Meiko Academy.

Kishi Academy
The all boys school. Kishi academy prides itself on the respectful students they produce. That said, it's a big school. They don't see everything. The large, modern, mostly glass building encompasses the Junior School and a High School

Meiko Academy
Meiko Academy is the all girls school. It's across a large plaza from Kishi, but it does not take after it in appearance. Kishi is far more recently established. Meiko Academy is a much older building, though still a very nice one. It has a more Victorian feel to it, with a large clock tower standing in it's center. It too encompasses the Junior School, as well as the High School.

Sonia is a very flighty person. Head in the clouds so often, she is constantly making up stories, and pictures. Extremely creative and imaginative, she spends a lot of time drawing and writing. She does seem to act a little younger than her age. She loves to express these ideas as often as she can. Though her overactive imagination tend make her see things as much worse than they actually are, often scaring herself in certain situations. The magical Kingdom of Tara Amor. Located on a distant planet light years away from Earth, one would never begin to imagine that such a place would exist, let alone be of any relevance to the people of Earth. In this kingdom rule Five governing woman and their aids. Each takes the role of a different Aspect. However, the Five have grown older since their time as rulers. They required a successor. The process of finding a successor is no simple task. They began searching far and wide. Eventually they found them. Five girls with incredible affinity toward one of the Five Aspects, as well as five boys who complimented the girls wonderfully. And so, they would be taken to the capital and raised there, being taught all they would need to know in order to be fair, and just leaders. But... Unbeknownst to the others, one queen had given up... Hope.

They were raised at a young age, Sonia was no older than 6 when she was taken in. They were being taught about their powers, but they were not old enough to understand how to use them quite yet. She was a little shyer than the other girls, but she managed to make friends eventually.

Promitha was to be the Aspect of Passion. Hot-headed, stubborn, a little rude, but she always did the right thing. She always stood up for what she thought was right, and protected her friends from those who wanted to do her harm. If one of the Sources was being mean, she'd be the first one ready to step in

Azura was the Aspect of Empathy. Soft-Spoken and kind, she happened to be the oldest out of everyone. Everyone saw her as their big sister, as she always listened to whatever problems anyone had, and comfort them any way she could. She was also a great cook

Sylvia was the Aspect of Joy. Always willing play, and never one for sitting still, she and Sonia became the best of friends(though Sonia had a hard time keeping up a lot of the time). Sylvia always had smile on her face that could make anyone smile along with her

Gnalla was the Aspect of Stability. Level-Headed and wise, Gnalla was a great mediator in any argument that happened. Promitha would always clash heads with her, but Gnalla would never back down. Maybe she was a bit stubborn too...

Then there was Sonia. Sonia was shy, reserved, childish. Many would look at her and wonder, why was she there? But the answer is simple. She was creative. She was imaginative. A Dreamer,. a Believer, a Supporter. When any of the other Aspects felt they couldn't do something, often times, it was Sonia's meek voice that encouraged them to push themselves harder. Spending her time always drawing and writing, it was evident that the reason why she was here, was Hope.

As time wore on, Sonia began getting terrible nightmares, seeing her friends and loved ones begin to fade. Disappear. Every night, she'd be woken awake, and everything was the same. But... She always felt something was wrong. This went on and on for nearly a year. At first things seemed just fine, but little by little, things changed.

Promitha no longer had any drive. She never defended anyone, and most scarily, she never fought back

Azura began turning others away, not even bothering to hear what they had to say

Sylvia was always sad. Nothing made her happy, no matter how hard anyone tried.

Lumine started hiding things from others. She never stopped telling lies.

Gnalla began backing down, unsure of herself. She made poor choices, and was never certain of anything anymore.

Ava was greedy, as avarice took hold.

And Ritta no longer cared for her companions, her own desires focused solely on her own self interest.

And Sonia's nightmares were realized. This was what they meant. Terrified, she hid in her room. Suddenly, Xander, her previous partner rushed and handed her all the heartstones. She had to escape. Hate had taken control of the Eight maidens and was taking her friends now too. Those in the castle not under its influence had managed to gather up enough power to create a way out of Tara Amor for them. Sonia was scared, but she trusted her Source. And so she followed, being dropped into Ai City, deep within the park. There she fell to her knees, crying... She was found by a large, but kindly man named Goro. He reminded her of her old partner, Xander.

To say it without being overly polite, Andou is the weird kid at the back who can't stop setting himself on fire in science class. He rarely says what he's actually thinking, and this is probably a good thing, because his internal logic is pretty strange. He's a fairly cheerful and laidback person, but he's not particularly well-adjusted for social situations, and only manages to miss too many opportunities to practice in a vicious cycle of being avoided by anyone who can help interacting with him for any length of time. He's passable in a conversation, provided that nobody tries to make small talk or asks him for an opinion or asks him what he's been doing lately or gives him directions or asks him for directions or...

Well, he's doing his best.

Andou is clumsy, physically and mentally. He's forgetful with a short attention span, and his body is constantly covered in wounds that he got from falling over and dropping stuff and walking into things. His focus and coordination are both terrible, and as such, he has had to figure out ways to live that work for him. He does his math tests from back-to-front so that he can do the difficult questions before he runs out of steam, and he grips the baseball bat in reverse when gym class comes around so he has a better idea of where his swing will go. It's hard to call his methods strictly better than the norm... In fact, they're definitely worse for most people, but he finds it's easier to hit 60% of someone else's performance with a weird method than it is to hit 40% with the proper way.

For all he doesn't remember anything important, he does know a lot of useless trivia. Don't ask him why.

He's aware of all of this, of course. His assumption is that his fundamental way of thinking is flawed, and he does his best to correct this accordingly. His eagerness in this regard has led to a uniquely strong curiosity, trying to gain and mentally organise as much information as he can to "correct" his understanding of the world over time. As such, he rarely leads conversations, instead tending to let the other person talk and occasionally ask them questions to keep them going. This is something of a double-edged sword, as the more he asks about someone else, the more likely they are to keep talking about themselves, and as a result, the dialogues that he's involved in become increasingly monologues. The one-way conversations he has rarely lead to developing a proper connection with others, stunting his social skills even further to the point where he finds it difficult to speak in ways that aren't overly frank, not to mention that he can come off as unreasonably blunt to the point of rudeness to people unfamiliar with him.

Incidentally, this all also means he's completely maxed out one skill in particular - creative thinking. By closing the gap where he can by inventing his own ways of doing things, his inventiveness has naturally been trained to dizzying heights. It's similar to his curious streak, but it's a kind of experimental curiosity where he insists on learning from experience. While this isn't much of a defence when he gets punished for "deliberately doing it wrong", Andou's unorthodox thought process makes him the kind of person who is excellent at lateral thinking, but terrible at lateral thinking puzzles. Of course, his tendency to think outside the box results in failure almost all the time, as one would expect. But on the few occasions it has worked, he has been known to very rarely achieve something that would have seemed impossible to anyone who actually knew what they were doing, simply because - in his own mind - he was just too stupid to realise that what he was doing was impossible until after he'd succeeded.

It goes without saying that this is all his own view of himself. Coloured in self-disparaging biases, he is also emotionally clumsy. Maybe it's because of what he learned about himself from the opinions of others while he was growing up, but he doesn't notice that while he's been accidentally hurting himself physically, he's also been doing the same thing psychologically. Regardless, he's still an optimist. Some day, he's sure, he'll be able to handle himself like everyone else. He just needs to keep learning, from himself and others.

To the uninitiated, Andou appears to be an immensely soft cat. This is technically incorrect - the transformation would be more formally called a kesaran-pasaran, a type of youkai from Japanese folklore made of fluff that floats on the air. It's kind of splitting hairs though, because the fact remains that he's a magical mascot character acting as a source of power for a crusader of love, so none of it really matters.

Allegedly, a kesaran-pasaran will bring good fortune and happiness to those who can catch one. Some people say that the name is a jumbled-up version of the phrase que sera, sera ("whatever will be, will be"), but there's no way to really verify that.

History
The life of Andou Sakura has been fairly simple. Born to Ayaka and Kazuhira Sakura in Ai City, he didn't have a lot of friends growing up. He had one older sister, Mito, eight years his senior. While urban life rarely lends itself to the same kind of tight-knit communities that the likes of rural villages do, the Sakura family were well-liked by their neighbours, although there was plenty of friction within the family. Andou had a single surviving grandparent who was less than pleased with the man his daughter had decided to marry, and one uncle who had moved to Brazil before Andou was born.

He had a "dark past" in middle school that he refuses to discuss, but it seems to have led to a lot of reading on actual science, history, occultism, philosophy, and mathematics. He ended up pretty knowledgeable from his self-study, and probably would have been considered something of a nerd if he had enough of a social presence to make his knowledge known. He still had difficulty making friends, and his parents weren't too much help with that even if they got along well at home. Perhaps if his sister hadn't been busy climbing the corporate ladder, he would have asked her, but he held off out of consideration that she had too much to think about already without finding out that her little brother was struggling in almost every aspect of school life.

The most eventful thing that happened to him was most likely the loss of both of his parents on the same night. Hit by a car while crossing the street, his father was killed instantly from a broken neck, and his mother died from complications with the resulting surgery. Needless to say, this threw Andou off considerably, and before he knew it, he was practically living alone as Mito burned every waking moment to support the two of them. Andou wonders if this is her way of coping, but wishes she was around more.

Thanks to her efforts, Andou has found himself for the past four years essentially on his own with his material needs basically met. He didn't want for money, the fridge was usually stocked, and there was no danger of losing the house (although he got the impression that last one took some considerable effort on Mito's part). He has been simply drifting with minimal guard rails all this time, and while he appreciates the freedom, he does feel a little aimless and lonely. It would probably do him some good to finally have a real objective.

Kagerou is the loyal and protective twin and known for being a little strange. He had a temper that can blind him from those around him, but he is more harmless then a threat, when Kagome is around. He can get obsessive, but is usually very laid back and focused on doing his own thing. He can be a little sillier then most would think. So, he sometimes has to be brought back to reality by Kagome. His life revolves around making sure she is safe and happy, to the point of ignoring his own happiness and safety.

Kagerou is a strong fighter and he can take a lot of hits. He is smarter then he lets on, but he won't admit it. He is powerful when helping others.

Kagome is Kagerou's biggest weakness. Dropping his whole existence to help her.

Kagerou plays the guitar, but has a passion for working with his hands. He is not one to seat still and let time go by, so he is also athletic.

It was important that he was always there to protect Kagome and Kagerou believed it was his job to always shave his sister's back. Kagome was always there to patch him up and tell him that she could defend herself, but he would never let her. She was his responsibility, as the male of the two. She was the only one that treated him like an equal through their childhood, but that would not change the fact that she was the most important thing he had. She when to a girl school, but that never stopped him from making the trip between the schools to make sure she was open. She did her best not to tell him when she had a problem but when she really needed him, he was always there. Growing up, this was their life and this was what he always wanted it to be like. Background:

Kagehito wasn't born Kagehito, her name was Amagiya Rika (天城屋 理佳), a daughter of a branch of the Amagiya family, which runs Millium Stalls Industries - a medical and pharmaceutical corporation. She lived her life fairly normally for a middle upper-class child, born in the bustling urban life of the heart of Tokyo, she quickly adapted to the fast pace and sometimes apathetic happenings unique to such places. Rika wasn't brought up very strictly, in fact, she was allowed more or less a normal life, as the burden all fell on her older brother: Amagiya Kageji (天城屋 影辞).

Though this wasn't what Rika wanted, she had always outperformed her brother in everything, despite being younger. Studies, sports, social situations, and even getting a date with girls, she was better than him in everything. Kageji was a somewhat sickly and airheaded young man, who was obsessed with strange films and the arts. Rika made an attempt to imitate her brother in hopes of her family placing more importance on her, but it fell short simply because she was younger and a girl.

As Rika got older, she hatched a plan to get rid of her brother. Not in a nefarious way, since she can tell he was clearly unhappy with the stress and not mentally up to any responsibilities the family wants him to shoulder. With her allowance and other earnings, she convinced her brother to run away from home and go study theater abroad, getting him out of the family's reach. With their oldest son gone, the Amagiya family had no choice but to invest in Rika more.

After her plan had proceeded, Rika decided that the older generations of the main family would accept her more if she presented herself as a boy. With the years of imitating her brother carved into her habits, Rika changed her name to Kagehito and moved to Ai City to present her abilities to the main family members there, where she performed stellarly in both junior high and high school in an all-boys academy, even becoming the student council president in her third year.

Since the beginning, Tsuki's life has had a strange start. After an unfortunate case of bad timing, she was born within the foresty parts of Senturu Park. Her parents had been looking at the view when her mother suddenly went into labor.

Tsuki's name was given to her because the moon had just risen the moment she was born, illuminating the small patch of grass where the baby girl took her first breaths.

Tsuki, to this day, still likes to cry and yell at the moon for nostalgia's sake.

Growing up for her had been rather uneventful for a middle child such as herself. Her parents were often so busy with their work that they had to leave Tsuki's older brother in charge of her and their baby brother. Hiro, her older brother, did his best raising his siblings. Though their parents were apologetic and skipped shifts where they could to give Hiro a break, but Hiro insisted that they needn't worry.

Tsuki noticed that her family seemed rather sad about the current arrangements, so she took it upon herself to try and be sillier to entertain them. They smiled and laughed, and that joy is what motivated her to continue.

However, her silliness ended up becoming ingrained as a habit, and since no one stopped it, it became part of her personality.

Though not everyone was appreciative of her weird personality, Tsuki never let them keep her down. She continued on as strange and unique as ever before.

To keep herself away from home, so that her brother did not need to take care of her, Tsuki would take up after school activities such as the literature club and dance lessons. Whatever activity would take her, she would participate in, but the two mentioned were what she had the most interest in and stuck to it.

Ryokichi is a very clean, neat, and tidy young man who is quite meek when you meet him. When no physical contact is made, he is rather nice albeit a bit nervous to be around the other person. When he is touched on his person, such as skin, Ryokichi is quick to whip out the anti-germ spray, the hand sanitizers, and anything that will completely cleanse him.

His phobia is easy to guess considering his behavior. He will always be wearing plastic gloves he sanitized himself, has a face mask on at all times, and his toes cover him head to toe for extra protection.

Despite the fear of physical contact and his meekness, Ryokichi likes to talk with others and getting to know him. He understands he's not exactly the most interesting person in the world, but after a particularly lonely childhood, he wants to meet people and hear their stories. It's part of his therapy that he slowly open himself more and more to others, and take things one step at a time. He's... not quite there yet, but he's doing his best!

Background:

His fear first began when Ryokichi had started making frequent trips to the hospital due to how sick he'd become and how often. The doctors had told him that germs were bad, and if he wanted to avoid getting sick, then he would need to wash his hands, keep clean, and make sure not to be doing anything that would get bacteria or illness inside of him. On top of that, his parents had become very protective of their little boy, doing what they could to try and keep him clean and healthy as well. This led to Ryokichi developing a fear of germs, that escalated gradually over the years the more "horror stories" he learned about germs, such as they were responsible for why he felt so horrible, and that they could kill him.

Even when Ryokichi became healthier over the years, his fear never ceased. His parents, realizing their mistake, tried to help him see that germs weren't something to be afraid of. They encouraged him to touch objects, to get a little dirt on his skin, but nothing worked.

His school life was much worse. Some of the kids didn't believe Ryokichi was actually afraid of germs, so a few made it their mission to terrify him with an improvised game of tag. Others would sneak dirt on him, try to touch him, or present him with something like a bug or an animal and offer him candy to touch it.

Needless to say, these traumatic events heightened his fears to the extreme; to the point he'd start washing his hands until they were irritated, face masks becoming a part of him, and covering himself as much as he could.

His parents became greatly concerned seeing his fear become worse, so they took desperate measures and got him a therapist when he was 10. However, the deep rooted fear and trauma caused by this fear made it much more difficult for Ryokichi to overcome it. A few therapists told his parents that it was just a phase and to give it time. Other therapists signed him over to colleagues because they were unsure of how to help Ryokichi.

Eventually one stuck. Higuchi Ko. He would take on Ryokichi in the hopes of helping this (at the time) 13 year old boy overcome something that tormented him for most of his life.

Nowadays, Ryokichi is very gradually doing better, but being sickly forces a relapse in his progress when he becomes ill. It terrifies him and reminds him of the danger of germs.

But Ryokichi is doing his damned best to try and be normal again. Promise!

Being timid without much presence makes it difficult to speak up, so music helps him share his feelings far better than words ever could. Hiro was the 4th child born on the 4th day of the 4th month at 4:44 in the morning. To some this is nothing more than an interesting fact. One of these people is his father. As Hiro grew up he felt as if he was plagued by bad luck, as he always would trip and lose things and make the most basic of mistakes. His father just laughed saying that was preposterous. For the most part there has been very little to concern Hiro, other than his perceived bad luck.

However, his fascination with the supernatural happened when he was around the age of 10. He was outside one day when he spotted what looked like lights dancing off in the forest around him. He started following it, and as he got closer, he felt more and more anxious. He didn't know why, but he soon found himself lost in the woods. He was scared. Whatever this light had been, it had lead him too deep into the forest. He didn't know if he would ever make it back out alive. He blamed his luck once again. Just before he was about to give up, he heard something. Looking up he saw a fox sitting in the forest in front of him with a bell around it's neck. As soon as he spotted it, it slowly stood up and walked off into the opposite direction. With nothing else to do, he followed it, soon finding his way back home. He told his family what happened, and his fathers reply was "See that? You're pretty lucky after all!" and walked off laughing. But to Hiro, this was something more. Whether or not it was actually supernatural is up for debate, but to him there was something there that wanted him and something else that brought him back.

This sparked his love for spirits and monsters and ghost stories. He would find books and movies about them. His father always enjoyed them too, though to a much different degree, as they both bonded over the scary films that his mother and sisters were always too afraid to watch. This was valuable bonding time for the two of them. During this time, Hiro learned about why his father was the caretaker of this shrine. Apparently his great-grandfather was saved by the previous care taker. He had no family or children of his own and was very elderly. His great-grandfather offered to take care of this place from here on out after he passed, and the men of his family have done so since then. Hiro's father was proud to take care of this shrine, even if he wasn't the most superstitious of people. At the time, Hiro wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and made his intentions very clear

In Middle School, Hiro learned about his knack for music, and sought to combine his two newfound loves. He learned all about sound design and how certain cords can affect ones levels of anxiety. By High School, he knew what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to work in sound design for Horror Films. But when he went to talk to his father about it, he wasn't even able to say the words. His father was so excited that his son was going to keep caring for the shrine. Hiro was worried about disappointing him. He kept going on and on about how proud he was. Eventually Hiro just quit trying to tell him because the words just wouldn't leave his lips.

Now Hiro hides this hobby from his father, out of nothing more than fear of disappointing him But he still pursues his dream, and hopes that one day he will have a project good enough to show to his father what his words can not say.

Background: Chikusa's from a seriously average and tremendously boring small town a couple of hours' bus ride from Ai City. She hated it there, and found release in being a bad girl. She got mixed up with a group of yanki kids, who introduced her to bike culture. She started riding way underage, as well as smoking and drinking. Despairing of their hellion of a daughter, her parents cut her a deal - do well in school and get admitted to the prestigious Meiko Academy over in Ai City, and they'd not only allow her to get a motorcycle license, they'd pay for proper lessons.
Chikusa took them up on it, of course, and demonstrated that she actually has a decent intellect when she puts her mind to it. She got the requisite grades and even scored well enough to receive a stipend, enough to pay the rent for a room with a host family.
That wasn't in Chikusa's plans, though. She wasn't going to go from one normie household to another. Instead, she found a motorcycle repair shop and got the owner to more or less take her on as an apprentice. They converted an unused office space into a bedroom for her, with a hotplate and mini-fridge, and she walks down the block to the public bathhouse when she wants a bath. She does odd jobs and helps out, and her boss lets her keep her stipend for her own use - most of which she salts away, because she's saving for her dream bike, the Kawasaki Z650. Well, that's the one she can actually aim for anyway. What she'd really like is the Ninja H2, but that's way too much bike for her license and her wallet right now.

Background: Unfortunately birthed into a failing family dynamic, Haruka found himself entering the world as the younger sibling of two to only a half of his parents. He doesn't recall much of his father save for the fact he simply left the family to fend for themselves, leaving the duty of caring for the children and supporting the family to their mother. Due to Haruka's naivety as a child and the two siblings' rather poor relationship, he was able to occupy himself in school and a social life early on.

Unfortunately, while Haruka was able to go on as normal despite familial conditions, it only lasted for as long as his mother did. Over time the woman traded more time at home for more work, wanting to provide for her children. However the long hours, fatigue and stress did eventually catch up to the woman. Still being rather young, he didn't understand half of what the doctors explained. As he came to interpret it, the collapse was brought on from overwork which isn't as uncommon of an occurrence as it likely should be. His mother would remain in the hospital for the foreseeable future and his older brother would take over the duties of supporting the family.

As time went on, due to her brother's work ethic, the siblings spent even less time together than they did before. Their relationship never truly improved and the few times they did share a meal together, it was often only physically, further affirming the gap between the two. Eventually Haruka's brother announced he was accepted to a university out of the city and just disappeared much like their father. Unlike their father, however, Haruka would every month or so receive some money for living expenses and to put towards care for their mother.

Since then Haruka had put more focus into her schooling and even working off-and-on, doing odd-jobs around town for spare cash. He used to be brash and outgoing in middle-school, earning him the reputation of a delinquent. However, after his mother's collapse, Haruka began applying himself both in and out of school. Eventually the group he had stopped bothering to include him and his reputation did a decent job at repelling any new ones, not that he had the time. What happened with his mother was a wake-up call, and much as he doesn't like his brother, he at least acknowledges that he has a lot of slack to pick up.

Background:

Goro was born to a single mother, his father being a known criminal. While his mother always tried to be supportive she couldn't help but see the dangerous man that she had been involved with years ago whenever she looked upon her son. Goro was raised with virtually everyone telling him who he was based solely on who his father was, and then on his body. Even when he was young and didn't work on his physique he was fairly large and aggressive looking. The young man seemed lost in his head often and when he was his expression was often confused for anger or frustration. Goro was introduced to crime young, with his supposed friends taking advantage of his size and frame of kind. By the time he was in junior high he was essentially doing grunt work for a local gang, throwing weight and people around as the situation demanded. He never wanted this kind of thing, in fact, Goro despises outright violence. That isn't to say he isn't capable of doing harm or even being purposefully intimidating.

As a freshman in high school the stakes of his criminal activity heightened, and his grunt work became enforcer work. He was well known in some neighborhoods as a hoodlum and was treated as such. During a fairly routine roughing up of a local shop owner, there was an altercation and Goro was shot. After being taken to hospital he survived with a nasty scar. He woke to find his mother in tears, begging him to stop doing what he had been doing. To get away from all of the horrible things people were making him do. With everything people had been telling him, herself included, he couldn't escape becoming his father. But, for the first time, she acknowledged that his future was his, and for the first time, he thought, that maybe his dreams of being someone good were attainable.

First it was simple things, like organizing games of Capture the Flag, or Mafia if they were stuck indoors. But when she first stared playing the guitar, something awoke in her. This is what she wanted to do. And she wanted her friends to do it with her. A mix of her sheer stubbornness coupled by the fact that her best friends were into music meant that this actually ended working. She, West, and Dog started a band. Then River came along. Like a torrent.

Noni went through whims like wind through leaves, but once she had her heart set on something, she stayed with it. She always followed a whim through, even when she lost interest, especially if there were other people involved, and knowing her, there were always other people involved- involved because of her. When River came along, Noni was ecstatic for the band. But there was something else happening, something she ignored altogether. Because the band was now whole, and she could want for naught.

Okay, but, the problem was, being with River felt like when she first started playing guitar. Like she'd found the one thing. That was absolutely terrifying. Because when she'd found guitar, she'd just about dropped everything else and dedicated herself to it, to the band.

But you can't help who you are, and Noni certainly couldn't. She was falling hard.

And Dog was getting jealous.

Cue the blowout. The knockdown-dragout drama and Dog leaving.

Now there's a hole in the band and another one smack dab in the middle of Noni's heart.

And that's how Strike Two became a three-man band in need of a fourth.

Naomi is what some would call a hanbun, or half and half. Her mother was from America and her father is Japanese. They both met while her father was abroad in America. They fell in love and her mother moved to Japan to live with Naomi's father in Hokkaido. Things were going great until Naomi was about 6 or 7 her mother started becoming ill. With her ailing health Naomi's father agreed to move back to America so she could be closer to her family and seek treatment. It was there Naomi learned a lot about generosity and charity. Her family was busy paying most medical bills but they never felt without. People would come to their aid in times of need and Naomi spent her time there favorably. Things looked like they were going better but just before Naomi entered high school her mother passed in a sudden turn of events.

Her father, devastated by the loss of his love, couldn't bear to be in the city anymore. He reluctantly pulled Naomi and himself back to Japan where they settled in AI city. With her fathers understanding of English he was offered a well paying job that cost him many hours so Naomi spends most of her time alone. Still she never lets it show that she's lonely and keeps up volunteering and helping out like she had grown used to in America. She's still adjusting to teenage life in Japan a little and sometimes feels out of place but does her best to smile through any harsh words said about her.

Personality: Dalilah is what you would call a tomboy with a dash of girly. She loves to joke around with the guys but won't pass down a day with the girls. Background: Born in a small town in Colorado Dalilah was an unplanned pregnancy from a one night stand. The man was unknown to Dalilah; her mother has kept it a secret. Instead she moved on, had Dalilah at 18, and married an older man 4 years later. Being 4 when they got married Dalilah didn't quite care for her father at first. He was taking her mother's attention away and Dalilah didn't like that. Of course after a year Dalilah warmed up to him. They became like an actual family and Dalilah became a joyous child.

At 8 Dalilah's little sister was born, a cute little bundle and from the first moment she held her sister she was filled with an urge to protect and love. The next years went by fast, Dalilah and Lilia became close, well as close as you can get with a toddler. But still Dalilah loved her little sister and made sure to be someone Lillia could look up to. She made sure to get good grades in school and work hard during and after school.

Then the accident happened. One snowy night when Dalilah was 12 her family was driving home from a Christmas dinner. Her mother was driving, the snow was coming down heavy, and it happened in a flash of bright lights. When the car stopped glass was everywhere, Dalilah had a gash on her back, Lilia was crying, her father was struggling to get out, and her mother was laying still not moving at all.

Sirens rang out and moments later her and her family were being pulled from the car. Dalilah was rushed to the hospital, along with her father and little sister. Unfortunately her mother died of blood loss. Having been close to her mother Dalilah was broken by the news. Her father went into a depression but kept it hidden as best he could. It was because of him that Dalilah hides her emotions and stays happy. Years pass and Dalilah and her family have slowly mended. Her father became her role model and her little sister became her best friend.

A somewhat eccentric person who always prefers to have a dramatic flare in his day-to-day life, often annoys people with it, but gets a free pass for his talents in the dramatic arts and music. Shierr is considered one who is born to be on stage, his passion and utter dedication towards his role on stage have been admired and envied by many. Public speaking, performing, and networking comes very naturally to him, and nervousness is somewhat of a foreign feeling.

Like his sister, Shierr is a gentlemanly and regal person, and will strive to act politely with company. Although his more excitable and erratic side sometimes shows and causes him to lose himself inside of a "role", an occurrence that is rather common whenever he devotes himself to such matters.

He is talented, but also clumsy in certain aspects of life. Capable of memorizing an entire musical in a day and a half, but will think a computer is broken when it's not plugged in. Amagiya Kageji (天城屋 影辞) was born with high hopes on him, as the oldest son and heir of his family's company and fortunes. Unfortunately, he was a somewhat slow boy, whether it came to learning or socializing in the proper fashion. Strange, erratic, prone to violent swings of emotions and unable to be complacent of his status. He was the main source of his parents and extended family's troubles as they poured more and more resources into raising him. He always believed that his sister, Rika, would be more capable of doing what they demanded, but she was rejected for being a daughter. The boy would often sing atop buildings or in trees to vent his frustration, with his younger sister being his only audience.

After years of misery and non-stop conflict with his family, Kageji, with the help of his younger sister, decided to leave everything in Japan and go abroad to America. It was a hard life at first, learning the language and searching for a new life. But his sister, as tender as she was, supported him financially and emotionally, until the day his fate changed when he was successfully accepted into after a Broadway audition. Hence started the career of "Skylark Shierr", where Kageji quickly became acknowledged for his musical and acting talents. He appeared in many shows and received critical acclaim for his wide vocal range and passion for the craft.

With his newfound success Kageji, or Shierr, as he now goes by his English name instead, still had one lingering problem. He had never done anything to pay back the only person that supported him, his sister Rika, now Kagehito had to shoulder every responsibility he had left behind, even needing to live as a boy to gain the main family's approval. Feeling somewhat responsible as an "older brother", Shierr returned to Japan to reconcile with his sister, finding himself a job at Meiko Academy in the process.
