Sleep had been nice. Dreamless for most on this night. It wasn't sudden, but it wasn't clear when it happened. There was a dreamscape filled with swirling colors of pink, purple, green, blue, yellow. Inside was only a girl with a small animal perched on her shoulder. She wasn't looking at anywhere in particular. And yet she spoke. And her words were directed to the others who shared this dream

"H-Hello?... Um... Hi, uh, is this thing even on? I've never contacted this many people before... Oh! Ahem... Greetings young human boy! M-My name is Sonia... I'm from a far away land, which has been overtaken by an evil entity... Hate now rules my world... So that's why I am contacting you. Because we can't take her on alone! We need you! But also, your world needs you too. She will not rest until the universe is consumed by Hate. But there is still Hope. I need to meet you all as soon as I can, so please! I've already contacted the girls, and they should be there soon! Meet me at Senturu Park right now, as soon as you can! Huh! I need to go so please, Wake U-!"

Awake in the night lying in bed. Surely it was just a dream?...

The connection was cut short. Hopefully she managed to wake them up. If the boys didn't wake up and only the girls come here then it was over before it even begun. Sonia hid high up in the tree. She was having a hard time hiding her staff right now, it was seriously massive. Why did she have to hold such a power in her heart? Her partner sat perched on her shoulders. Feeling his soft fur really made her feel better. She had only met Goro a few days ago, but he reminded her so much of Exavier. It was comforting to have him nearby. She was breathing hard, mostly from fear. There was whispering voices not too far off. "I think I hear something..." She whispered into her partners rounded ears.

"She's here... She's somewhere here... Find her... Find her before she gets help... Stop her..."

She held her breath, shaking in fear... Right below the tree she was hiding in she could see people walking by. To those who did not possess the power of the Aspects of Love, they just seemed to be normal people. But Sonia could see into their hearts. She could see that there was much heavy on their hearts. A man who just got fired from his job. His marriage was straining, and he was going to lose everything. His heart was easy for Hate to claim. There was a jealous girl from the high school, angry at her friend for taking the man she had been in love with for so long. Her heart welcomed Hate with open arms. Perhaps most saddening of all was a young boy maybe only 10. He was suffering from an abusive household. Hate gladly took him in. There were others in the forest too. Hate hadn't spread too deep into this world, not yet at least. But Sonia was worried. There was a lot of injustice in this world, far more than she had ever encountered. If they couldn't stop Hate here, she would grow more powerful than anyone could ever imagine. The three of them convened as they whispered among themselves. Soon after they dispersed, heading in opposite directions, searching for her.

The young boy passed by her hiding spot he stopped suddenly. She let out a tiny squeak, terrified that this boy would find her there. She could make a few magic blast from psychic energy, but she was not a fighter. Her powers took a supportive role. Without the others, she would likely be caught in an instant. The boy sensed something was off, she just knew it. She watched as slowly, he began to turn around. He was looking in her direction. It was only a matter of time before-

There was the low sound of talking in the woods, not too far from where she was. In the direction of the playground. It was late, almost 3:00 AM. Those voiced could only mean one thing. It seemed that both she and the boy knew it. He quickly turned around, and started sprinting in the direction of them. Sonia knew she had to get there first, but she was concerned about the others who were still wandering. She was paralyzed with fear, unable to move... Until she heard someone. She looked around but didn't see anyone. It sounded like laughter. Before she realized it, years were streaming down her face. It triggered something inside her, causing her to spring into action. She grabbed her crescent moon staff and leaped into the air. The child had a head start, but he was running through the forest. Sonia was able to get there much quicker over the trees. She had been living in this forest for almost a month now, so she had a fair understanding of where everything was.

She needed to reach them before he did.

"WAKE UP!"

The voice hit Naomi so hard she jumped upright in her bed. IT took her a second to recognize where she was, the same old small room with her large bed smack in the middle of it. Clutching the sheets to her chest Naomi let her heart rate slowly return to normal before even beginning to process the dream. Flashing colors, blinding lights... someone speaking directly to her. It certainly wasn't something she was used to.

Checking her phone Naomi was dismayed to find 3 am running across the top of her screen. 'Great, now I'll be sleep deprived tomorrow. I suppose a coffee would be in order with breakfast.' Slowly absorbing the dream Naomi sighed. It was nothing more than a fluke, something strange meant to unnerve her after the start of a new year in school. Tugging on her surely messy bed head Naomi let out a long sigh. It would bug her if she didn't go at the least check it out. "Senturu Park, right?" Naomi mumbled to herself, searching the address up on google to make sure she had the directions right. It seemed it wasn't too far. Sliding her glasses on (an object usually reserved for home only use) Naomi shoved her feet into some slippers and trudged to find something to put over her pajamas.

After finding a large hoodie from her previous high school Naomi slid that on over her loose pajama set. Her legs were still clearly in pajama pants but this was probably just a weird dream anyway and there was no use getting worked up. She'd probably be alone with maybe a drunkard at 3 am in the park. 'At the least it feels ten times safer than an American park at 3 am."

Her slippers were swapped with shoes at the front door but with her hand on the doorknob Naomi paused. Her father would worry if he got up to check on her so she left a note on the small kitchen table.

'Went out to grab a midnight snack, will be back in a few.'

She hoped that was enough to stave off her father for a while. Confident she could get off without much more than a scolding Naomi grabbed her keys and put in her headphones, heading out for the park.

It wasn't too long of a walk towards the park; The buses and trains weren't running at this hour so it would be death otherwise. When Naomi first showed up she saw a whole lot of nothing. "This was pointless." Naomi grumbled in English, spotting the playground a short distance away. She was already awake so why not sit down and enjoy the swings for a moment before grabbing a CC lemon and returning home from the stupid expedition. Popping a few yen into a local vending machine Naomi grabbed her lemon soda and wandered to the swing set. Sitting down on the worn plastic Naomi cracked open the soda and began to swing ever so slightly. She probably looked ridiculous with her white and blue paw printed pajama pants swinging on a swing set but it was worth hanging out for a minute before going home again.

noni
Witching Hour

Noni woke with a start. The hell kinda fever dream-- she nearly laughed, but something kept her quiet. Oh, right. West and River were fast asleep. West was snoozing with a leg off the couch, his mouth wide open. Noni was on the floor, having insisted River use the bed. She was laying on a soft, warm pillow...

Wait.

Oh nuts.

It wasn't a pillow.

Noni shot up to a sitting position. Shit, shit, shit. She'd been laying on River's flat stomach like it were the most normal thing. She couldn't even remember how-- Nope, no, the memories were coming back. She remembered. They were all drunk. She was insisting he take the bed, he didn't decline but sat on the floor and started talking about something. At some point he'd laid down and she, uncomfortable from trying to prop her neck up, had casually placed her head on his tummy. He'd just as casually stroked her hair. She turned red, remembering. Guess they don't call it liquid courage for nothing, she grinned and scratched the back of her head, equal parts amused and embarrassed.

...right now. Noni didn't know why, but she got up. Well, she knew why. She dodged the empty beer bottles on the floor and tip-toed to the door. Something about the urgency in the girl's-- Sonia, right?-- voice. Something that didn't make it feel like a dream, but like a dire call for help. Stupid, really, but Noni had read somewhere dreams were sometimes your subconscious trying to tell you something from all the information you'd gathered that day.

If something happened and I didn't help, I'd kick myself, she thought, pulling on her boots. She slipped out the door, closing it ever so slowly so that it made the softest click, and then quickly walked a stretch before breaking into a full-on run. Senturu Park was just a few blocks away.

She was nearly out of breath by the time she reached the park. It looked empty far as she could tell as she halted to a stop, and then doubled over, her hands on her knees as she panted. Hang on, she forced her head back up. She swore she saw a streak of saturated white and blue. Oh. She laughed, stifling it-- albeit delayed-- the best she could with her hand. There was a girl. A fair-haired girl was over at the playground, on a swing, drinking a can of something. It was funny, but also, just... a relief? Yes. Noni had been expecting something dangerous, as dumb as that was. But instead she was greeted by a rather... peaceful, honestly, scene.

She let herself sink onto the wet grass. I'll give it a second or so, make sure nothing happens, then I'll go home. Being a bit far from the playground, and out of the brightest zones of the lights that lit up the park at night, she felt safe enough to light a cigarette. I really need to quit this, I could barely run to the park without losing a lung, she thought as she inhaled.

With a sharp inhale, Haruka awoke. His eyes shot wide open. It wasn't the sort of dream or nightmare that stirred you awake, but then fatigue and exhaustion quickly swept over you body when you realized it was fake. This one was like a punch to the chest, and he was completely awake, staring at the ceiling. His gaze travelled to the side of his bed, looking at the closet with his clothes, his desk with his backpack and books. It was all exactly how he'd left it before passing out at the night's start. However, it did naught to calm him.

Growling, he sat up on his bed and kicked his feet off over the side, tearing the blanket that coddled him away. He rubbed his eyes with a grumpy whimper and scanned the room again as he got his bearings.

"...Senturu Park..." He murmured, reaching over to the nightstand where his phone was charging. Flipping it open, he looked at the screen.

2:30 a.m.

Staring at the time for a few more moments, Haruka let out a frustrated sigh as he stood up and pulled on some clothes and a jacket.

As he reached the park, the question of just how stupid he was repeated itself in his head. It was a dream. The dream wakes you up and you go back to sleep. He was at the park. Why was he at the park? Because his dream told him to. Right. Yes. Great. It was irrational, but so was the feeling the dream instilled in him. At the very least, coming here and seeing nothing was calming, and the stroll itself was almost therapeutic.

When was the last time he just slowed down and breathed? Well, not that long ago actually. He couldn't afford to. Yet, here he was, walking through the park in the middle of the night. It was mostly empty. As he passed, he could see someone on the swing set, illuminated by the lights. He could also see a small glow in the darkness. Probably just a smoker. As long as they didn't set the place on fire, he didn't care.

Haruka stopped in place and glanced up at the sky, pondering. Pondering the dream, pondering that gut feeling, pondering why he believed it, and then--

"...This is fucking stupid." It really was, and he decided he shouldn't be wasting valuable sleep like this. Best to turn around, go home, make some tea and try to wind down again. He had school and work later on.

Goro, in his tiny bear form, the sunglasses resting on his snout with his front paws gently kneading his partner's shoulders. What a strange thing this was turning into. Sure, he knew it was going to get weird when he first met the girl who claimed to be from so far out of town that an accurate measure of distance was a light year. Still, being a little bear wasn't so bad. At least in this way people would probably be less likely to cross the street to avoid walking by him on the sidewalk. He sighed inwardly, thinking back to when he had first encountered his new partner, Sonia.

'My planet was lost to hate' she had said. He and others like him were needed to help protect Earth. She needed his help. Far be it from Goro to resist coming to the aid of a pretty girl from another land. Of course, he liked helping people, but, when he saw how upset she looked, how terrified and downtrodden, even if he had wanted to say no, he couldn't. Goro had been living on his own for a little while now, and even though it was embarrassing to offer, and he worried that she would call him a creep, he invited her to come and stay with him in his home. Surprisingly, she agreed, and since then, she had been sleeping in his room while he slept in the living room. How could he not let the girl have the bed?

"Don't worry, Sonia. You aren't alone. I'm here with you, and we aren't going to be alone in this. Right?" Goro spoke into her ear, his voice the faintest whisper.

Tonight was the first time that Goro had felt fear for her, and not just sympathy. Hell, today was the first time he had felt fear of anything aside from a couple of really terrible people he had met. Now, there was some strange stuff happening at the park. She told him she had invited other people, those that would be helping them in their monumental task. People whom would be capable of dealing with these hate filled assailants. It was off-putting to Goro that he couldn't easily tell that these strange people looking for them were anything out of the ordinary. But, there was definitely something off about them. Now, they were headed towards something. Voices. A commotion. What the hell was he to do?

Tsuki was usually a deep sleeper, with nothing waking her save for the usual thumping of her head against the bedroom floor when she inevitably rolled off her bed. Tonight, however, she was abruptly awakened by the sound of a girl's voice and a super wicked dream telling her to meet this mysterious mystery at her birth place.

Dream or not, Tsuki had awakened horizontally on her bed, a big smile coming to her face after the person had yelled at her to wake up. With a backwards somersault, she hopped out of bed and headed straight for her bathroom where she'd make quick work of washing her face, brushing her teeth and hair, then whipped to the closet to get dressed.

She was usually up late doing whatever it was she did, so if her parents were awake, they wouldn't be too suspicious. Though it would require her to be quiet for the next part of her mission.

Quiet was her middle name!

After falling three times while she was getting dressed and accidentally knocking one of her small bookshelves over, Tsuki opened the window to her room and rolled out of it, knocking into the metal trash can before dashing her way to Senturu Park. The evening air felt thick in her lungs as the young lady stuck out her arms like a plane and dashed towards the all too familiar location.

Was this a bad idea for a girl like her? Yes. Did she care? No~ What could they get out of someone like her besides some stories?

Besides, she had the power of God and Anime on her side!

"Nyyyoooooooooo-Wah!

She suddenly crashed into a random boy who'd been standing around at the park, seeming like he was contemplating something or selling drugs. Either way, the crash was hard enough to put her on her back, blinking a few times to recompose herself, before looking up at the boy with a big grin.

"Hey there! You going to Senturu Park because some weird dream lady asked for your help because Hate was going to win or something or are you here to sell drugs or your body?"

Ryokichi awoke with a start, gripping his blankets close to his body, he gasped for breath and panted. He reached for his phone and opened it.

A quarter to 3 a.m.

He was inclined to just forget about that dream he had, just pretend nothing happened and continue on as if he didn't just have that strange... girl talk to him. But when he dreamed, normally it wouldn't be so crisp and clear, or so...memorable. He completely understood what she told him. She gave clear directions about where to go and to go there immediately... She would be waiting for him.

Would he be the only one?

He didn't want to. It was against his better judgment, but something within him gnawed that it was the right thing to do. Sure it could have been his crazy self hatching up the most insane dream he ever had, or it could be some kind of message to go to Senturu Park.

Regardless, he grabbed his jacket, shirt, surgical gloves, face mask, pants, shoes, a hat, and his glasses. He made sure to sanitize himself and his clothing completely before getting dressed. The removal of his natural oils made putting on the clothing a little more uncomfortable, but it was a small price to pay to not have to face bacteria.

With that finished, Ryo decided to continue onward. He left his home as quietly as he could towards the park in question. Worst case scenario, he got kidnapped. Best case, the message would be true and someone would be waiting for him.

But he figured the only good that would come from this trip was to sate his curiosity.

He didn't leave far from said park, so arriving there didn't take too long. Though, to his surprise, he wouldn't be the only one.

"Ora di cena! Luca!" A young woman calls out to her son from the steps of their family home. The sound of seagulls and the sea crashing against the beach filling the atmosphere of their small Italian neighborhood. Her hand arching above the brow as she searches for her son in the distance. A warm smile spreading across her face as a young Luca dressed in a dinosaur hoodie and jeans comes bounding up from the street.

"Mamma!" His childish voice squeaks out as he runs up to her and hugs her leg. His happy eyes staring up at her as she runs her fingers through his brown curls. He pulls away and stands close to his mother as she kneels down to his height. Curious eyes watching her as she takes a moment to look him over for any scrapes he might have gotten at the playground down the street.

"Com'è stato il parco giochi? Ti sei divertito?" She asks while looking him over, then placing a kiss on his forehead content over his safety.

"Si!" The boy nods in response, before finally brushing past her side to run into the home. Ready to have dinner. Then he hesitates in the foyer. Wide blue eyes blinking at the home before him. It looked different. This wasn't the same home. Looking to his left Luca has changed as well. He looked older. Sad. That light in his eyes from just moments ago merely a whisper. His eyes were swollen and red, and he could still see the tear stains on his cheeks. Sudden shouting from the kitchen nearly startled him to death.

"It's not right Catalina!"

"Sh! Stop it, He'll hear you Ben!"

A sharp pain blooms across his temple. A headache that caused his head to pound. A shattering radiates through the house, and all Luca could hear was two voices muffled in the space around him. Hidden behind a ringing in the ears. No, no this wasn't right. Luca told himself. A light catches his attention, and the brunette looks down at the palm of his hand. An old, but familiar, smart phone glaring up at him. A message? The name was blurry, but Luca feels a momentary relief. Gripping the phone he pockets it into his now black hoodie and pulls up the hood. Turning on his heels he leaves behind the voices of his parents and walks out the front door. The door closing behind him. He starts to walk, but he doesn't know where he is going. The world around him is shapeless, so he keeps his eyes trained on the sidewalk below his feet.

"Luca. . ." A voice calls to him. It sounds familiar.

Whipping his head up Luca's pale blue eyes sees a children's play ground just ahead. The swings gently swaying in the night breeze. Jogging up to the set, the young boy takes a seat and begins to lightly sway back and forth. His feet dragging against the wood chips while he waits. His muscles felt tense, but he couldn't place why. Was it the voice? His chest felt tight. Then he felt a presence behind him that made him freeze. Two hands, larger than his own grip the chain link of the swing and a figure leans in beside him.

"There you are. " The voice from earlier whispers in his ear, but it was harsh. Cold. In seconds a chill envelops Luca's body. With out thinking he bolts from the swing and takes off running. That was voice dangerous. It was his voice. He could never forget it. He had to get away. The sound of heavy foot steps stomping against the pavement followed behind him. "You can't escape from me Luca!" The rough voice erupts behind Luca as he sprints through the streets. Whizzing past illuminated street lamps, and quiet houses. Luca's eyes frantically search for a place to hide or go.

"H-help me!" Luca shouts at the top of his lungs. Tears beginning to stream down his face knowing no one will come. He nearly stumbles, but manages to catch himself and keep running. Tuning out the screaming from behind him as he ran. The shapeless world around him suddenly merging into tall sky-scrappers. Large neon signs written in Japanese hang above him as he sprints past. The only sound filling his ears was his own heartbeat. Nothing else. Turning down a nameless street, He notices a dimly lit alley and darts inside to hide. Finding a restaurant's dumpster in the back alley, he crouches down behind it and makes himself as small as possible. Curling up into a ball in the hopes he won't be found. The thunderous stomping shakes the street as the voice, now a roar, continues to call out for him. Covering his ears and closing his eyes Luca sits as still as possible,

Then something strange happens. The voice begins to grow quieter and quieter, as if very far away. The sound of the ocean filling his dreamscape once more. Blinking, Luca opens his eyes in awe. The tall skyscrapers have all but faded away, and were replaced by a swirling misty fog of bright colors. A sun set sky reflected against clear waters beneath his feet, and standing before him was a young girl he had never seen before. Realizing that his cry for help had been answered, Luca's shoulder's relaxed. A warm sensation filled his chest and spread through his limbs to the tips of his digits. He felt at peace. At least for the moment. "H-hey, wh-" Luca starts to ask who she was when the girl suddenly speaks up.

W-what? Slow down, you're going to fast.
Luca thought to himself as she began to explain everything. All this information was causing his head to spin. Hate? A far away land? The world needed him? This sounded crazy. "Sentaru Park? What do you mean!? Hey, wait!" Luca begins to talk back to her, but it seemed something was happening. The moment he takes a step forward everything goes dark.

"Wake Up!"

Luca inhales sharply as he bolts up from his mattress. His breathing shallow in panic as his blue orbs dart around the room. Clutching his shirt he could feel his heart racing in his chest as he throws his legs over the side of his bed and leans over. It takes him a few minutes, but he is able to calm himself down from the night terror he just had by using the breathing techniques his therapist had given him a couple of months ago. When he was more stable, he gulps down the remaining half glass of water at his bedside. Gasping for air as he finishes, and setting the cup down. What was that? He asks himself as his gaze looks to his window. The image of the girl worming its way into his mind. He had never seen her before, but he remembered her words. "Sentaru Park . . " he mutters softly to himself as his eyes dart to the alarm clock beside his bed. Big red numbers indicating that it was still early morning. Though that made sense. It was still dark out after all. Getting up from his bed, he quietly sneaks to the hallway bathroom. "This is crazy . . . there's no way. It was just a dream." He tries to reassure himself as he shuts the door behind him. Turning on the faucet, Luca cups his hands and uses them to splash water on his face. Rinsing away all the sweat and retroactively cleaning himself up a little. "Well, there really is only one way to find out. I go and make sure. If not, no harm done. If so . . ., well . . ." He trails off unsure of himself. Shaking it off, he returns to his room and gets dressed for the trip. After packing a bag he quietly leaves the house and makes his way to the near by park on bike.

The bike ride was a realitvely short one, but Luca was feeling fairly relaxed having left the house for a night ride. While it was true that the city never slept at night, Luca found it very peaceful. At least compared to how crowded it got during the day. The night breeze billowing through his blonde hair felt really nice too. Maybe he should leave his window open at night. Luca pondered as he approached the front entrance to the park. Coming to a stop, he hops off the bike and locks it onto the bike rack before casually walking into the park. He hesitates and stops just past the gate though. There were already other people here. They looked like teenagers, some of them he swear he had seen before but couldn't quite place. Did he know the boys from school? Who were the girls though? He wasn't actually expecting to find other people here. Luca could feel his chest growing tighter. His Japanese still wasn't very good. What if he embarrassed himself? Even worse, what if they weren't even who he was supposed to meet up with? He didn't even see the girl from the dream either. "S-shit. I should have texted Hotaru first. Damn, I-I can't do this." The boy wheezes to himself. Already regretting leaving home in the first place. He clearly didn't think any of this through before hand.

Looking over the other teenagers from a far he pauses on what appears to be two other blondes loitering around near by. Were they also foreigners? Maybe one of them knew English. That would make this a whole lot easier for him. There was also a swing set, which he liked, but would it be alarming for the girl if he just suddenly sat down next to her? Shaking his head Luca decided to shuffle his way over to the vending machine and just wait there from a far. It was best to chest wait for now and not get involved with anyone. Putting in some yen, he punches in the code for a bottled water. The machine clangs loudly as the bottle falls to the catcher at the bottom, and Luca leans over and reaches in side. Once he grabs the bottle he opens it up and takes a swig. Glancing at the others once more as he takes a seat on the bench beside the vending machine. "This is for the best. Just sit and observe. If nothing happens. Go home." He nods to himself.

Amagiya Siblings
Kagehito [#6849BE]
Shierr [#971FDE]

[Interactions]: @IceQueen @Jessica

"Nii-san. Seeing that you are an adult, I would not question your current actions." Amagiya Kagehito leaned against the door frame, underneath the dimming front porch light, catching her brother (older, and legally an adult) trying to sneak out in the middle of the night. This would likely be a coincidence, Kagehito had a strange dream that urged her to head towards Senturu Park with the utmost urgency. Normally, she was not one to indulge in such spontaneous behavior — It was more of her brother's specialty, right after trying to swing from chandeliers. But this dream was vivid, Kagehito rarely dreamt, so it was a special occurrence to her. Hence the current situation.

"Ahhh, I know I know, I'm not gonna do anything strange, I won't get lost either!" Shierr Amagiya nearly froze in place when he saw his younger sister (or perhaps it's better to say younger brother in front of other people) still up at this hour. She was a diligent person, especially when it came to proper circadian rhythms. He had this weird dream, well, weirder than usual, he had a lot of weird dreams. Actually, this was blissfully normal when it came to being informative, instead of just snakes on a plane on a giant panini. And he actually remembered it.

Shierr dashed out of the door, right past his stern-looking sibling, who sighed a bit and reluctantly followed. Two birds with one stone, keeping her brother out of trouble and investigating that strange dream.

"Night time sharpens,
Heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination
Silently the senses
Abandon their defenses—"

Kagehito walked behind her sibling, who walked, ran, skipped and hopped along the road while the solemn melody rang out through the deserted street. As strange as he can be sometimes (and the need of elevator shoes to perform with most actresses), Shierr's talents as a vocalist were undeniable. It was as if an orchestra was there, with them, in this moment.

"Let your mind start a journey
Through a strange new world—"

Shierr walked up some cardboard boxes piled on the side of the street, and swung himself around a streetlamp pole while glancing up at the barren city light, then crashing into a wall. A dry cough and a small noise can be heard before the music continued as if nothing happened. Kagehito walked up to the wall and pulled the young man up. Silently, her golden eyes flicked under the streetlamp lights as she grabbed onto Shierr's hand and carried him out of the pile of cardboard and trash bags.

The moment he was set down the black cloak fluttered out of the spotlight and down the street, briefly being wrapped around its owner for a moment. Kagehito simply smiled and followed silently. Her brother skipped and hopped lightly, in strange and stark contrast to the low and somber voice that emitted out of him. It was as if he played two roles alone, perhaps to make up for her lack of dramatic flair.

"Nii-san." The heels of her plated dress shoes clicked on the concret as Kagehito's soft smile remained, she whispered in a similarly gentle fashion, knowing that the other would never hear her. It was getting clearer where he was going now, Senturu Park. They weren't twins, they were about as different as siblings could be, but she just knew. You can see those things in his performance once you've known him for long enough.

"To the power of
The music that I write!
The power of
The music of the night..."

As Shierr ran up the stone stair pathway of the park, Kagehito can hear a bit of commotion going on. It perked her interest, her brother won't notice, but she was far more aware of her surroundings than he is. She can only believe that this was either a coincidence, or caused by that strangely vivid dream. If the latter was true......No, it was no time to think about that. Shierr had ran up towards a bench under a streetlamp near the playground. A few silhouettes can be seen in the distance, some even familiar to Kagehito. He curled up on the bench and closed his eyes, as if falling asleep.

With another small sigh, Kagehito went up and picked up her brother in her arms. He was quite light, for rather obvious reasons. Golden orbs flicked open and looked up at her.

"...You alone can make
My song take flight..."

Her English or singing wasn't nearly as good as her brother's, nor is her voice low enough for the role to be convincing. It might not even constitute as singing, more so a melodic mutterance of lyrical words. But it caused the young man in her arms to crack a smile and subsequently hop out of her arms, going down the path right towards the playground where the silhouettes of the others were waiting. Doing a little twirl Shierr gestured for his sister to catch up, while continuing her mutterings into melodies.

"Help me make the
Music of the — night—"

A small 'phew' sound came out of siblings at the same time, one from the singing and one from the running and carrying. Kagehito can now clearly see some familiar faces: it was the duty of the student council president to get to know each student, even if it was just their documented information. She wanted to reach out towards the others there, but like always, her brother popped in front of her in a social situation while she was still thinking.

"Suzuki-san? Tsuki-san? What are you all doing here at this hour?" As if the person who just put on a dramatic musical number wasn't him, Shierr went into 'acting like an adult' mode. He recognized a few students from the school, which he had concerns about out of professionalism. The whole event of the dream already tossed out of his mind.

"Nii-san." Kagehito walked up and put a hand on his shoulder. "Likely the same reason as you and I." She stated calmly while taking a bow to the female students. "Apologies for Amagiya-sensei's behavior, I am his brother, please call me Kagehito."

Hiro shot himself upright in bed. The last few words he heard still rang in his ears. What the heck was that? The entire thing was way different than his usual dreams. Of course his usual dreams when he had them. He looked around his room, with charms and talismans plastering the walls, he had been trying to prevent any nightmares from coming through. And this one may not have been a nightmare, but whatever that was... Well it wasn't a nightmare, but it shouldn't have been possible right? Unless his charms didn't work. But that was a more terrifying thought. Still, he quickly put on a coat and grabbed his phone, moved silently out the door.

It was late, his mother and sister were sleeping in their rooms, but his dad was sleeping on the couch, a bottle of sake in one hand, and the distinct red of Juzu Beads in the other. He was snoring with his mouth open, and the side of his face wet. The only thing illuminating him was the soft glow of the TV. Hiro snuck his way past him. But there was little chance of him waking up. That man slept like a corpse.

He slipped on his shoes at the front, and looked down the dark pathway into the forested areas of the park down below. He took a deep breath and started walking down the way. It was dark, but as he approached the perimeters of the park, he heard voices. He was filled with a nauseating mixture of excitement and anxiety. He sped up his pace, breaking through the woods and viewing the clearing near the play ground. There were others there right now. It looked like 8 of them so far? He made 9.

He started approaching, recognizing a few faces. One was Haruka, the grumpy guy who Hiro had always been scared to cross the paths from. He also saw the Student President too, as well as a few others from his school, And some girls as well. Hiro made his way to them all, raising his hand in an awkward wave.

"H-Hey everyone. You're not all here because of a... God this is going to make me sound insane isn't it. A dream are you?" Hiro was a believer in the paranormal. There were definitely things beyond his comprehension out there, but he was often times dismissed as crazy or superstitious. But this time, he knew something was happening right now.

Kumamoto Chikusa

The chilly quiet of the night was broken by the loud rattle of a scooter exhaust with its muffler removed. The racket was even more ear-splitting in contrast to the silence that had come before, and it got louder as it approached.

The park was bathed in the light of a headlamp as a little Honda Tact careened round the corner. The diminutive 50cc scooter was painted in neon green and lurid red, and its rider had a helmet to match. The long hair that spilled from under that helmet also sported racing stripes of the same garish colours.

The scooter slammed into a slide stop. It would probably have been a more impressive manoeuvre if it had been performed on a larger bike. As it was, all it did was scatter gravel everywhere.

The rider hopped off the bike and pulled off her helmet, revealing a toothy grin.

"Hiya!" the girl shouted, unnecessarily loud. "Guess this is where all the weirdos've come to meet, right? Crazy dream, can't get back to sleep, creeping sense of doom, uncontrollable impulse to come here. That's all of us, amirite? Or maybe it's just me and you all have some absolutely legitimate reason to congregate here like totally normal law-abiding citizens, hey?"

When she finished, the silence came back, even more oppressive, broken only by the ticking sound of the scooter's engine cooling down.

The dream was so vivid it seemed to almost be real. "WAKE UP!" She jolted up, head swiveling from right to left as she searched for the mysterious voice. Though like always her room was empty, except for the necessities. With a exasperated sigh Dalilah looked at the small clock on her night stand. 3 AM. Who in gods Earth would wake her up at 3 AM. She glared at the clock menacingly as if it were the one to wake her up. But alas it wasn't long before she was laying down staring at the ceiling. What now? She could always go back to sleep but there was this nagging feeling that she needed to go to the park. Why? She didn't know but Dalilah knew her gut wasn't wrong on this. Though sneaking out the house this late was something Dalilah hadn't done in a while and she was sure her father would ground her if he found out.

So, quietly she changed her clothes into a simple outfit before sneaking through her house. The floorboards would creak and moan if she moved too fast or took too hard of a step; by moving slowly she was able to make it to the front door without making a sound. Grabbing her keys from the hook Dalilah exited her house full of worry and the sense of impending doom. It weighed heavy on her as she stared down the street, wondering if this was a good idea or not. But alas her gut told her to move and so she did.

The park was maybe a 10-15 minute walk for her so it wasn't long before she came into view of 1...2...3...4...9 people. They all seemed gathered here. Where they hear for the same reason as her? Dalilah needed to know, so walking toward the group she smiled and waved. "Seems we are all here for the same reason, huh?"

Kagerou woke with a start and sighed, "What the hell?" he said as his hand reached his face. That dream had been something that he had was not ready for. What the hell was going on? And who was that.

He sighed, thinking that he would just roll back in his bed and go back to sleep. It was just a dream, after all. There was no point in making a deal about it. Plus, Kagome was going to be in the next room, if she heard him trying to get out of bed, she would be worried. Fate of the world or not, he didn't care to cause his sister any type of concern.

So, he moved to lay back down. But his door swung open before he could complete the motion. He jumped to see who had come in. It was Kagome, in her night gown and her hair tied up behind her. "Kagome? Are you okay, it's 2 30 in the morning?"

Kagome looked at him, "Brother." she announced, but her voice was not as loud as her words made it seem like they should be. She rushed to his bed and sat beside him, "I had a dream that we need to go to the Park." she looked at him seriously, "Senturu Park. Why are you still in bed?" she finally noticed that he looked like he was going back to sleep, rather then getting up.

Kagerou sighed, "Because it was just a dream, Kagome. You can't take dreams so seriously. This is like that time you wanted to go to the store, because your dream said it was open." he pointed out. It had been a long night that day and he had a hard time getting back to sleep when it had happened. It was an adventure, but Kagome took her dreams too seriously sometimes or literal, that she gets a little crazy.

Kagome pouted, "But this was different. This dream was more. Kagerou, we have to go, especially if you dreamt it too." she added. The truth was, this dream felt different some how. The dream was more real in a way that she couldn't explain. And the fact that she was not the only one that felt it, was even more proof that it was something they should be looking into. She stood up, "I am going to get dressed, and go alone, if that is what it takes." she said, before she started to leave his room.

Kagerou sighed, as he swung his legs over the side of the bed, to get up, "Wait. No. I will come to." he assured her, her face lite up, as she stopped and turned to him with a smile, before rushing off to get dressed. The last thing he wanted to do was to go on an adventure at 2 in the morning. But the last thing he was going to allow was for Kagome to do this on her own. He would go anywhere with his sister, no matter how he felt about the situation. So, as she left his room he brushed his hand through his hair and then moved his quickly back and forth to wake himself up a little more before he moved to start to get dress. He had to be quiet, their parents would wake up and stop them if they ever woke up. And he would have a lot to hear from his father, if that happened.

Kagome rushed into her room, with some joy. She was the oldest of the two, but Kagerou was the protector that she loved. He would always come with her, if she told him she would go alone. And that was the only way to make the responsible lazy boy more. When she was in her room, she moved to her closet, her room was a little bigger then Kagerou's but that didn't mean she had more space. Kagome filled her room with little stuffed animals, sweets and a table for tea parties, which she dragged Kagerouo through when she could. Her closet was across everything, from the door and she nearly messed hitting her table as she moved towards it. She picked something simple, it was a night out, a light jacket, jeans and a blouse that was black so she wouldn't be spotted. She knew the routine, they couldn't get caught. Even with their white hair, ,wearing black helped them to avoid getting caught so she would always make that choice.

It wasn't long before Kagome meet Kagerou downstairs and they left the house, as quietly as possible. It wasn't like they never did this before, so it wasn't that special, but at the same time, it wasn't as common as when they went to school, so Kagome swung her arms with excitement and Kagerou sighed, following her through the sidewalk. It wasn't too far from home to the park, nor was it that much of a deal. But when Kagerou saw others there, he was surprised that this happened to others too. Some of them he recognized, but since he focused a lot on Kagome and less on making friends, only one or two were people that he actually spoke to.

Kagome smiled at them all, "Hello, everyone, did you have the same dream as us?" she asked. She couldn't believe how many were there and neither could her brother, he looked like he was still dreaming. Buts he was right and that is all that mattered. For once, she was right about her dreams being real and that made everything better to her.

Kagerou just placed his hands in his pockets and stood beside his sister, they didn't look exactly alike, but close enough. But he wasn't going to chance any of the guys trying to make a move on her while he was there. No matter what happened, he would protect her.

As he readied to leave, Haruka heard an obnoxious display disrupt the serenity of the park. It was growing closer and closer. It almost sounded like it was coming right for him. He turned around, and lo and behold, it was.

"Ack-!" He stumbled back and fell on his rear. The babbling idiot just ran into him at full speed! "Oi, watch-"

Wait, what did she just say?

Haruka stared at her, bewildered. She had a big, dumb grin on her face. She was here because of the dream? Some weird dream lady told her to come here? Wait, she also called him a drug dealer and/or a gigolo. What. The actual. Fuck. That wasn't the worst part. Suddenly more of these lunatics showed up. More and more. They were all asking about a weird dream. This couldn't be--All of them had the dream? There was no way. Was this a fucking cult? The last of Haruka's patience wore out when the sibling duo with bleached pair appeared, questioning the same as all those before them.

"Aight." The boy inhaled before letting out a huff, standing up, and briefly patting himself down. "This is fucking stupid and you're nuts."

It was unclear if he was talking to them all, or specifically the girl who tackled him and accused him of being a prostitute. Either way, the grumpy boy stuffed his hands in his pockets, scowled, and stepped around the girl seated on her behind in front of him. It was cold. He was tired. More importantly, he didn't have the mental capacity to deal with any of this.

Sonia was approaching her destination. She could see the top of the jungle gym from where she was. Soon, she spotted the party that had gathered together at the playground. It looked like everyone was there.

She leaped from the branches of another tree, into the clearing of the playground. The moon shined behind her, gleaming off her snow white hair, with a slight breeze blowing it in the early autumn night. She stood in front of all of them standing up with her staff held behind her back. It looked cool for a moment, before she started wiping the tears from her eyes, blubbering,

"Y-You all came... I was so sca-scared you wouldn't."

She then looked up for the first time, seeing the angry boy from before about to take his exit. "W-Wait!" She put the small bear of Goro on the ground, standing up. She took a deep breath and mustered the courage to speak to the large group of people. In the moonlight, her white hair and golden eyes almost seemed to glow, alongside flowing frills and ribbons of her dress. The most absurd part of her regalia was the large cresent moon scepter that almost seemed to dwarf her.

"Thank you for coming this far. I'm happy you all came. But it isn't safe here anymore. We need to find a place to hide. I don't... I'm not strong enough to protect people on my own... And you haven't even been shown how to harness the power of these." She waived her hands and closed her eyes. The air in front of her began to shimmer as suddenly 7 glowing stones slowly phased into the physical realm, each floating in the air. She gently motioned her hand forward. One stone floated their way toward each of the 7 other girls. It was then she finally could get a good count. It looked like they were missing one.

"There was supposed to be one more of you..." She stepped backwards. They could track him down later. For now she needed to get everyone somewhere safe, at least long enough to give them a chance to practice. "We can't stay here for much longer. There's something... Evil... nearby..."

Hiro meanwhile watched with his mouth agape at the sudden arrival of the girl, and the feats of magic she was currently performing. He wanted to ask so many questions, but was simply dumbfounded. It wasn't until he heard the girl say evil that something clicked. "I may be able to help with that actually..." He raised his hand. He had spent every day since the time he nearly was spirited away making and pasting charms all across the temple in a perimeter around the forest. "Just follow me!" He beckoned everyone to the wood and up the path he came from.

He was excited. Did this mean magic was real? There were so many questions he wanted to ask, but apparently they would have to wait.

Sonia was confused by his sudden assurance, but she had no reason not to believe him. She had been watching him for a few days in his dreams. Or at least she tried, but she needed to leave because his dreams were too scary. But if he dealt with that on the daily, he must know a thing or two about protection from evil. She looked back at everybody again "I... I know this is a lot... And I know none of you asked for this, But I'm trusting you with those Heart Stones because I believe that you all can help me. That you all have what we need to save my world and yours. Because you are my only Ho-"

She cut that sentence short. Anyone could feel the oppressive aura of anger and hate and despair approaching. It was heavy. The agents of Hate were almost here. She raised her staff, and the air around them again shimmered, layering what looked like a second image on top of them. She crafted an illusion to help lower suspicions, but it would only slow them down. "We need to go now. Quietly." Her voice would have been heard, but she did not speak. This was telepathic

She followed the Horror Enthusiast through the woods with her partner. He alerted them they were inside the safe zone, she created another, similar field from before, spending more time on this one as to help block out sound and even their scents to the zone outside. "We should be safer here..." She looked out at the group of boys and girls she had called today. "I-I know you all must have... a lot of questions. I'm not too smart but..." She took a deep breath and squeezed the staff in her hand tightly. "But I'll do my best to answer any you may have."

As Haruka proceeded past the likely junkie, another suspicious individual popped out of the greenery sobbing. It paired with her request he wait gave the grumpy boy pause for a moment as his eyes widened. She looked dressed for a galla. A part of Haruka wanted to ask her what was wrong and why she was so frantic, but then he noticed the other oddities.

A baby bear.

An ostentatious staff.

Now she wanted them all to run. Run from what, all of them? She had to be a chunnibyou. He wasn't sure if the rest of them were in on it and part of some weird group or prank. Then these glowing stones appeared and his eyes widened further. Was he sleeping? Drugged? What the hell was happening?! A horrid feeling washed over him, though he wasn't having a good vibe since the start.

Suddenly, they all began running at the beckon of a monstrous sound. It temporarily shook him from his exasperation and put him into a mode of flight. He sprinted, occasionally glancing back in an attempt to see something, but he only ever saw everyone else fleeing in a panic. Once they reached "safety" Haruka stayed quiet, catching his breath and collecting his thoughts. However, eventually the boy scoffed.

"Nope. I'm done. Fuck this." It wasn't real. It just wasn't real. He just had to keep telling himself as he attempted to walk away again.

Tsuki didn't pay too much mind to the boy insulting her. He seemed like a big cranky weenie anyway; maybe he just needed some coffee. Or maybe he wasn't making a lot of money with his dirty jobs? That would make her cranky too if she were in his shoes!

She hopped back onto her feet, now noticing the group that had come to join them.

So many different people got the same dream too? Whooaaaa what was going on here? Was this some kind of super cool witchcraft? Or were they going to star in their own TV show? So many questions! Before her eyes, magic was happening and each girl was receiving a stone for... something. Could she turn it into a necklace and be fashionable?

GOD! There were so many questions and so much information to take in! Her brain was melting!

Before she knew it, they had all run away from some mean sounding monster, Tsuki finally had time to process everything that had just happened and the meaning of it all.

However, before she could start asking questions, the angry blonde boy was starting to walk away.

"Nooo!" Tsuki ran towards the blonde boy walking away, leaping after him and catching him in a glomp. Her arms wrapped tight around his shoulders. "I won't let you go back to a life of drugs and prostitution, boy I just met! We can help you out of your self destructive ways!" She lifted herself up so that she was peeking over his shoulders.

"Besides, you can use those super cool magic powers to earn an honest living, right?"

Everything that happened was so quick that the information almost didn't process. This girl and her bear, the magic he'd just witnessed, the sounds of the "Hate agents" or whatever the hell they were called... What the hell was even happening? Why were they here? Why them? Why not some combat trained soldiers or someone who could actually defend themselves...

By the time they'd all rushed through the woods to escape whatever was drawing near, Ryokichi could feel a headache coming along.

But at least the group now had the freedom to ask questions.

He raised his hand, coughing a bit as he tried to regain his breath from the running.

"Why us?" He asked her. "Why are you recruiting random teenagers? Why not some military personnel or, I don't know... Adults." Ryokichi asked her.

While Naomi had been the first to arrive at the park and spent a good few minutes feeling stupid gradually more people seemed to emerge from the darkness. First was some angry spiky haired guy, then she spotted the light of a cig on the grass nearby. Naomi was starting to feel a little ridiculous being the only one in pajamas until something came screaming out of the darkness and barreling into the spiky haired guy from before. Slowly one by one people emerged, a lot more people than she would have thought. Naomi was going to ask a question when she heard her last name and shot up out of the swing on instinct. Narrowing her gaze into the darkness Naomi's brows furrowed.

"Amagiya-sensei?"

What the heck was her flamboyant teacher doing at the park in the middle of the night? Was he a part of this dream? She didn't recognize the man who stood next to him but it didn't matter. It was only a short time later that someone came leaping from a tree. Jumping a little Naomi glanced her up and down, confused by the outfit. Was she cosplaying? It seemed like an odd time of day for it. The second she burst into tears Naomi rushed forward. She didn't like watching anyone blubber like that, even if it seemed to be out of relief. Naomi was going to go in for a hug but stopped short. Was she Japanese? She certainly sounded like the one that called them to this place but she could still be afraid of hugs. It was still weird that people didn't really show affection in Japan but she was slowly getting used to that personal space boundary. Watching as a stone floated towards her Naomi gently touched it.

"What the heck is going on." Naomi mumbled under her breath, glancing at the stone. It didn't look like anything out of the ordinary but it had also appeared out of thin air. Glancing up to ask a question Naomi spotted everyone running off. "Shit, wait for me!" She called after them, tripping over her own feet a little as she ran after the group into the woods. When they finally reached a stopping place Naomi crouched herself down, taking a few deep breaths. As soon as she recovered Naomi went back into mother mode. Wrapping her hands gently around the girls shoulders Naomi offered a gentle smile.

"Let's take a few deep breaths first. We can't do anything while panicking." Naomi smiled gently, pulling back in an instant as she realized she was doing the touching thing again. "Sorry, I'm American. I am not really used to this 'don't touch unless asked' thing."

It was like a whirlwind rush (note to self, Noni had to remember that later, that was an awesome song name in the making). One, then another. Others rolling in! Someone even brazenly talking about a dream, that dream, the same dream! Noni, the addict she was, listened in from her spot, unable to bring herself to quash the cigarette. She began to inch closer and closer, until she really had to stop before she got into the light. And, plus, she was sure no-one would appreciate the aroma of smoke.

But when the girl from their shared dream (a shared dream! That was crazy to even think of!) arrived, Noni had to crush the cigarette out. At least she got to enjoy most of it. She rushed alongside her and the others, jubilant, disbelieving, wondering if she accidentally took a tab of acid and just didn't remember. Nah, she would have remembered. And this wasn't like any kinda trip. This seemed more like a wild dream. But everything was happening for real. She could barely wrap her brain around the thought. It made her giddy, and she had to stifle another laugh in her hands because, well, they were trying to hide, and plus, she didn't need her first impression to be: bonkers crazy!

Sonia was right on, Noni already liked this girl: She anticipated. Noni was full of questions. How could someone communicate through a dream? Why could that bear-plush looking animal move on its own? Why them, what made this group worth choosing? Why her? Oh, good, someone already asked that-- Oh shit, why not military? Noni felt a ting of disappointment that Sonia might kick Noni and present group to the curb and seek out trained personnel- Okay, maybe now wasn't the time to let her imagination ride wild. Not when her wildest dreams were coming true. And she meant her actual from-your-brain dreams, not her self-made dreams like making it to the big stage.

"...Hoooow is this all even happening?" it slipped out of Noni's mouth before she realized it. Two quick hands came up and covered her mouth, before one of them came off and waved in front of her, gesturing
forget what I just said, please!

Sonia was prepared for questions. Or at least as prepared as she could be. Of course, almost immediately one of her chosen people tried to leave. "Ah-wai..." But someone else was already pulling them back, to which Sonia nodded her head in thanks. "Okay... Um... I-I picked you all because... There was a sense of familiarity to me. I'm supposed to be the next Maiden of Hope on my home world. But, I was still in training. We all were when... When Hate took over." She clenched her hands against her chest.

"Um... Soldiers aren't something that can handle this. Hate isn't a normal physicals being. Weapons, even some of your fire that you can create leave a scratch. And wars like that... They may just make Hate stronger." She took a deep breath. "Hate is a force that has been around far longer than any civilization as far as I know. Any others succumbed to it. And... And..." She shook her head of any ideas like that.

"I won't let that happen any more. But I- eh?" She felt someone wrap her arms around her in an embrace. It was kind, and warm. A feeling she had missed since she last was with her friends. "I knew I made a right choice... Thank you." She stood up, having another question thrown her way"

"Well... It's Magic. I've noticed it was lacking in your world. You don't all have magic, yet you are capable of far more than what my world was with your metal dragons, and your horseless carriages. Oh! and your moving painting! They look so life like!" She had gotten ahead of herself. Clearing her throat, she wanted to properly address the question. "It's amazing really. But my world used Magic. A wish, even minor, could be made real. Some people could make stronger wishes than others, but the ability to manipulate those wishes was magic. Everyone was able to channel their wishes through the pieces of the Heart Stone. That's what I gave you all." She pulled out her own stone which glowed a soft periwinkle.

"Though the heart stones listened to everyone. The Maidens embodied their meaning and thus have absolute control over them. To use their powers, you'll need to channel you feelings through them. They resonate with positive emotions more strongly, and will help you bring your ideals to reality."

She turned to the boys nearby next. "As for the boys well um... You'll need to be there to receive those feelings. The um... Heartstones allow such a large amount of energy to be passed through them that someone sorta needs to help... Mitigate that. And... It has some... effects. While your partner is transformed." She looked down at the cuddly bear that helped her thus far.

All the while, Hiro was anxiously looking out for to the woods. Some of the seals were starting to turn black. This sent a chill down his spine as he listened in. "Uh... S-Sonia, right? We um. May want those awesome magic powers ASAP. My talismans are slowing them down but... Well this thing will definitely find us sooner or later."

She looked back at the boy. He was right. But that paper... Maybe this world did have some magic in it?... "Alright. Everyone will need to pair off. Then the girls, I want you to look deep down in yourself and find what you value most. And draw out those feelings and channel them through the stone. Boys, you hold hands with your partner, and be prepare to accept their feelings in full."

She hoped that explanation was enough. There was a lot more going on but the theory of it all was something she still struggled with.
