Kazuma Kishimoto took a sip of his coffee while glancing out the window at the sky. He was in his favorite cafe, enjoying the peace and quiet and a magazine before he had to go in for work, although he was pretty sure his manager was calling him on his cellphone relentlessly to make sure he showed up on time, it was a good thing he put it on silent. He smiled to himself at the image of his manager's annoyed face trying to get in contact with him as he looked at the magazine he was reading once again.

Minako sighs as she walks around the cafe, giving people their drinks and such. She is having one of those days where she cannot keep a smile for more than two minutes. Actually, she doesn;t usually smile anyway, but he boss keep reminding her to. SHe doesn't really feel like it, but maybe that is why she is call Ice Queen of the Leaf. Apparently, customers do not mind it, they find it appealing actually and that is why they keep coming back here, much to the manager's chagrin. Mostly there are guys are here, but she doesn;t mind so much.

Kazuma glanced at the sky again and noticed that it was getting a bit dark out. It was going to rain, much to the news forecaster's incorrect prediction. Well, it was a good thing he had brought his umbrella today just in case. He looked down at his coffee cup, which was nearly gone and looked over for an available waitress. When he saw Minako, nicknamed Ice Queen of the Leaf for a reason, once again she was barely smiling, he tried to get her attention and then motioned to his nearly empty cup, letting her know that he would like a refill.

Minako turns her head to see the customer in the back asking for a refill. No problem, she walks towards him and thankfully is carrying a coffee pot. "Here you go," She said, as she simply poor in a cup for him. She has been looking at his face, but nothing comes to mind as to her, he is just a customer. He eyes turns towards the window as she could see run drops, it is raining now. "Crap..." She whispers to herself, she gets off in ten minutes and have to walk through that?

"Thanks." Kazuma said as she poured him a refill of coffee. He then noticed that her attention, although he didn't hear her whisper, went to the window at the sight of the downpour her face looked of one that was unexpectedly sad. "I take it you don't like rain?" he asked.

"Hm? Nah, I have to walk into that in about ten minutes. What a pain..." SHe frowns, she doesn't like rain all that much, and she has to walk in that. "Oh well, i guess i could make a quick run to the store to buy an umbrella. She walks away as she is back at the counter to wait for her shift to be over and mentally prepare herself for he downpour. She is giving off an icy vibe still, so no one seems to notice since this is normal. This is why she hates this time of the year, too much rain.

Kazuma watched her for a moment as she went back to the counter. He took a sip of coffee. He had his umbrella, maybe he could help her out in some way, he would just have to wait until her shift was over. An act of kindness. He reluctantly looked at his phone, and sure enough, he had about 20 miss calls and 30 text messages from his manager all asking as to where he was and when he was going to be there. He had an hour before he had to go on set, she could wait an hour. He placed the phone back into his pocket but not before sending a text message back that he would be there soon and for her to stop being a worrywart though he knew that would never happen.

Minako's shift is now up, and it is still pouring. "Ugh..." She frowns as she makes herself a cup of tea, and she walks to the back room to change into her normal clothing. Of course, she didn't bring an umbrella, and she is staring at the exit window and sighs. "Great...just great." She cannot wait to get to the bus station like this, she would miss it if she stays here. There are no stores close by, and she just sighs. Could she ask to borrow one until tomorrow?

Upon seeing Minako leaving, Kazuma got up, paying for his two cups of coffee before he left out the door, umbrella in hand and opening it as he stepped outside in the rain. He smelled the air, loving the smell of the rain as it brought him peace. Suddenly thinking about the waitress Minako and how she may not have an umbrella, he waited outside the cafe, away from the windows, until she came out

Minako walks out of the cafe, groaning as she is now standing out of the glass roof outside of the cafe, and tries to think of what else to do. What she didn't expect is that Kazuma would be outside of the cafe waiting for something or someone. COuldn't be her, right?

Kazuma saw that Minako had exited the cafe and he walked over to her, umbrella in hand until he was close enough to where she was also underneath the umbrella. He smiled friendly before talking, "Mind if I walk you home? We can share the umbrella." he said.

"Oh?" Minako has a savior, and she has no choice. "You don't have to do that, just take me to the bus station, and that would be fine." She asked him, as he is so kind as to savior from the rain. Chivalry isn't dead these days, which is nice and would save her the trouble. "Thanks for this, it is really coming down pretty hard." She points out.

"No problem," Kazuma said with a smile, but when she said to just take her to the bus station he looked up at the rain. "Yeah, but what will you do after you get off the bus? It is coming down pretty hard and I don't think this rain will let up anytime soon. You'll catch a cold in this. Please let me walk you home." he looked at her then serious about her well being.

"I can take the bus, then it's a short trip to my house. Its no big deal." She is baffled as to why he is insisting on helping her walk to her house. Very suspicious, was he trying to low key know where she is living? "I'm sure that you have better use of your time to escort me around." She is half heartily trying to dissuade him from going through with it, but she would just shrug. "But...whatever, do what you will."

"Okay, suit yourself. To the bus stop, it is." Kazuma said as they walked to the bus station. "If I sounded a bit weird, I am sorry. I was sort of raised to escort a woman in need home to ensure safety." he said

"I understand, it's just that I need to have some level of trust from a person in order to let them walk me home. The world is a nasty place to be where you cannot trust anyone." Minako said, almost lowly as it seems that she doesn't trust easily, she believes in baby steps. "Regardless of that, I just want to thank you for being a gentleman."

"Of course. Anytime." Kazuma said, "That is also pretty understanding." And he did understand, he didn't want her to think that he was just some creep that wanted to find out where she lived or something worse. Soon they were nearing the bus station, and just in time too since a bus was just about to pull up to the stop. "Well, there's the bus. I'll see you probably later Pretty Cafe Lady." he winked at her, dubbing her with a new nickname before walking off in the other direction. Just when he walked some distance away, his phone rang, and this time he chooses to answer it. "Yeah yeah Cho, I'm coming...Yes, I saw all one hundred of your text messages and calls and I ignored them all because I know how you get...I still have thirty minutes to be there... Stop worrying, I'll be there on time, don't I always?" He let out a sigh at something his manager said on the other end of the phone. "Alright, I'll see you when I get there," he said then hung up his cell phone.

"Thanks for the walk, and i'll promise not to hassle you to walk me to the bus stop again." Minako lightly teased despite still having a stoic face. He leaves, and just in time as the bus come and she departs home. Actually, tomorrow she is not scheduled to work, so she had made a plan with her only friend to go to he movies...or rather convinced to leave her dwelling for some fun.

Thankfully, the morning is sunny as the rain let up, but she doesn't like very bright days. She had to move, and meet with her friend Satoko at Chuo Square. She is wearing muted colors, she doesn't like wearing loud colors that could attract attention, it would be troublesome. She is walking down the street, almost there to her destination.

Kazuma waved to Minako as she got on the bus, bye before heading off to work. Once at work, he was immediately scolded by his manager and put into make-up and on set for the movie he was in that is scheduled to come out in a few months. It was, of course, an action-packed romance movie, which worked for him perfectly because that was people, throughout his immortality, viewed him as such in the bad boy vibe, with his mostly black, gray and white attire, which was the opposite of his friendly personality.

The next day, he had an early morning shoot, so he did have to be there early in the morning, all the while he was thinking about Cafe Girl. He realized that he had never gotten her name, nor had he paid any attention to her name tag when she was at work the other day. He shrugged mentally thinking that there was a fat chance that he was going to see her again. Today they were shooting a car chase scene near Chuo Square. He was in makeup, wearing a gray tank top showing off well-built muscles and fake wounds, bloodstains, and bruises and fake gun, quickly scanning over his lines before the director called him on set.

Minako blinks as she could see a crowd standing around a street, they are mostly girl though. She just decides to ignore it, sometimes there are movie shoots happen here, and there have been a few, so she could ignore it because it isn't anything special. She does see her friend among the crowd and that made her sighs. "Miki...come on, I thought we were going to see a movie." She groans, as she pats her shoulder. She cannot see through the waves of people in the crowd.

"No wait, I want to catch a glimpse! Its a shoot with Kazuma Kishimoto! I cannot believe it!" Miki squeals in delight.
