[size=+2]What do you think has had the biggest impact on who you are as a person?

What sort of identity did you form as a result and it that influence was absent, how do you think you would be different?

My parents' alcoholism, to be brutally honest. People say you can never learn from other peoples' mistakes. I find that it is complete crap. While I do drink, it's never ever very often, usually on my birthday and while I'm barbequing. Which, I can honestly say, is during the summer. I'm a Montanan, but I'm not crazy enough to barbeque while it's -18 F out there. I never let the drinks take control. There are a few times where this isn't true, but that's the exception that proves the rule. If they were never alcoholics, I don't know where I'd be today. To be perfectly honest, I don't have the tastes to be the other side of the coin, so I still don't think I'd overindulge.
