The seeing-away-of-the-casters went without a hitch, each house present in some form or another be it the Thane themself or a representative. Of course the Thane of House Dragonfly was there in person, her pale skin withered with age and yet she stood tall and proud on stage, hands neatly folded in front of her and silver hair tied back in the neatest bun Raina had ever seen. Her willowy form was obscured by heavy black robes despite it being late spring/early summer, but Thane Rowan didn't look phased by the heat. Behind her lurked Selene, Raina's older sister second to Céleste, and who some believed to be the Thane's bodyguard. The truth was shadier than that. It was always shadier when it came to a dark caster like Selene. Other than that, Raina stood alone in the crowd of classmates, family, and friends of the other casters, waiting impatiently for Rosewood headmaster's speech to conclude.

Now she sat curled up in her seat against the cold side of the bus, knees pressed against the mock back situated behind the driver seat. Instead of a driver, a cardboard box was placed behind the wheel where any electronics the students had on them were to be dropped when they disembarked. With that in mind, a white cord belonging to a pair of earbuds trickled down from the curtain of dark hair framing her face and disappeared under her open flannel while her thumbs worked over the buttons of a hand held. But despite her aloof demeanor, her eyebrows furrowed, her lips pulling further into a snarl until finally she yanked the buds out of her ears with a growl, "This is driving me nuts!" Hand held forgotten, she shifted and dug her knees into the soft leather, upper body pressed into the back of the seat as her hands gripped it to keep her steady. From her new vantage point she had within view almost all passengers. Dangling from an emergency hatch was Batter. "Isn't anyone else bothered by the fact we're being dropped off at Acolytes' Mount? I know this is a challenge and all that, but Acolytes' Mount as the starting point?" Few things bothered the dark caster. What were a few deaths if none of them were her's? But the legend surrounding the mountains were not to be taken lightly.

Acolytes' Mount had gotten its name when a rouge group of young Casters still in training ventured into the the jagged teeth of stone to summon some kind of demon from the Nether. The ritual succeeded, but when it came to the binding, something went horribly wrong. A search party was dispatched, though all there was to find were scolded remnants of bones and the vague impression of a magic circle. What had brought the acolytes to stoop to such extremes remained a mystery. Ask the girls of Rosewood Academy and they'd say it was just a bunch of boys seeking help to prove their superiority. Ask the boys of Evergreen Institute, and they'd claim it was just a bunch of girls trying to one up them. Whichever was the case, the fact remained something still lurked in that rocky tomb proved by unexplained deaths and disappearances that accumulated over the centuries.

She huffed, stepping out into the isle to pace toward the front window of the bus. A squawk sounded from behind her as Batter dropped from the emergency hatch and glided toward his irritable Caster. He landed weightless against her back, little claws digging into her flannel before a tiny head popped up above her shoulder. Raina mindlessly stroked her finger between her familiar's large ears but her gaze was on the blue abyss expanding around them. That was another thing that irked her: flying in a big metal contraption instead of on Batter. It was one thing to at least have some control over the direction, but it was a completely different story to feel the floor beneath your feet vibrate gently as you're hurled through clouds.

Trent's lips were pressed in a thin line as he struggled to conetration on crushing up a herb, which may have been more difficult to do if the bus was driving on a road and not soaring throgh a vast sea of blue. He had meant to do it before the Caster's Challenge Ceremony but when he woke up that morning he realized he forgot to pack half of his gear and hand to quickly make up for it, and then there was that breakfast-feast the Evergreen Headmaster had hosted, followed by the actual ceremony where his friends and family were waiting to ambush him. If the Challenge wasn't enough, graduation was planned after the competitors' scheduled arrival, and they felt the need to make up for it since he'd be spending the last four weeks of the semester out in the wilds. It sure beat spending in classes, that was for sure.

When the herb was successfully grounded up, he slipped it into one of his glass vials, careful not to make a mess of it, and corked it for later. It wasn't wise to brew a potion while contained with several others in case of an explosion. "So how are you guys holding up?" he question with a lopsided grin. "Finally excited to be out in the cold cruel world?" Up until he was accepted into Evergreen Institute at the age of fourteen he had lived on the farm with his parents and two younger siblings, and living out in the country meant little protection from the city. Most city kids though, rarely ventured out passed the walls unless it was in a controlled environment like fieldtrips. Not that travel was discouraged, but the lands seperating cities from towns and villages tended to be hostile territory or privately owned by elven folk and whatever else had enough intellect to say "my land". Big schools like Evergreen Institute and Rosewood Academy also tended to keep their students within their walls for the sake of "higher education" within a safe environment. Though safe was more tailored toward the general public then the actual students.

Zelda Fenrir just rolled her eyes at Raina and lightly trailed her right index finger along her beloved familiar Loki, the fire snake hissing in delight. She knew of what it was that got the Dark elemental all worked up, every one of them knew and to tell the truth, even the confident Fire elemental a bit on edge. Giving a silent command, Zelda had Loki slither up to her shoulders and gently wrap around her neck as she moved to sit on her knees and lift herself up a bit off her seat to look at the dark haired girl. With a huff, she put the tips of her index and thumb of her left hand into her mouth and whistled at Raina to get her attention, unintentionally getting everyone else's attention. "We all get that you are nervous about the starting point, most of us here are as well. But don't go getting your panties in a knot over the beginning of this challenge." She states, Loki hissing in agreement. "If you get worked up now, you will be useless when we get there and we will lose the challenge to those Evergreen boys. Do you want that to happen, Raina?" She may have asked Raina this, but it was actually for everyone to answer. After saying her piece, Zelda sat back down in her seat and placed her earbuds in her ears and blasted on her music.

Sorrell Edelstien was so busy reading his book that he nearly missed what Trent had said. Looking up at the Fire male, the Gravity user put his book down and turned towards Trent, as they were sitting across from one another. A small smile painted his pale face and his violet eyes shined a bit. "It is exciting to be graduating Evergreen at last. We just have to take part in this challenge and then we are home free." He states, his voice soft and kind, something that compliments well with his soft features. Sorrell was from a well off family in the city. His parents were both musicians of a famous orchestra before they retired early after he had left for Evergreen Institute for Gifted Boys. Ever since then, Sorrell grew to like being around the other males of his class and had a few crushes during his stay, each one only lasting for a short while since he could never seem to actually confess to any of them and watched them slip away. Returning to the present, Sorrell's smile left his face and changed to that of curiosity, "Though I am confused... what exactly is Acolytes' Mount?" He asked with genuine curiosity. He had never heard of the place and he was probably going to regret asking the question.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY

end-divider.png

[fieldbox="AHARAND PRIENE, brown, dashed, 10, Georgia"]Today was the day that she had been looking for, the day where she would show how her magic could make those idiot boys fell to their knees and pissed their pants. She always saw boys as her forever rivals, she never seen them as friend, let alone as love interest. Maybe she would make them begged for life or offered their soul to be her servant or cried like a baby. A vague curled smirk peeped out on her face as her imagination ran wild uncontrollably. Her imagination always accompanied her anytime she had nothing to do, it brought an indescribable pleasant feeling.

The peaceful silence she enjoyed suddenly shattered into pieces when one of the girls shouted irritably. Her head automatically turned to find the source of disturbing voice. At the straight line of her sight, there was a girl with dark hair complaining about how they would be dropped at Acolytes' Mount. Aharand did question about their starting point, but it was just a temporary doubt that quickly washed away by her confidence. She wouldn't bother herself to answer the sarcastic question from the dark-haired girl, it was wasting her precious energy and time. Aside of that, she didn't exactly know what she had to say to reply her words. It might turn out as lame answer or anything laughable. Though she was proud of her magic skills, she didn't trust herself that much to make any improper interaction, especially on important day like this.

Thankfully, another girl stood up and took the thrill to answer the dark-haired girl. They could go on and on, replying each other words, and maybe fought each other if things went horribly bad. The question that girl asked at the end of her statement actually made her squinted her eyes, "If that Raina girl messes the whole challenge, just kick her out of the group. Can't let the poison stays and infects the whole group."

Aharand widened her eyes as her words slipped out smoothly from her mouth. She didn't expect THAT words would escape her mind for she thought she would let it stay as an imaginative comment in her mind. Nervously, she looked around to see what were her teammates' reaction to her words. She hated teamwork, but it didn't mean she would want to show it vividly to her teammates. To cover her panic, Aharand added another statement which was not better at all, "Ehem! I mean... Do you really want to keep a girl that slowing you down?"

Good job, Aharand, you just earned the annoying individualistic brat title.[/fieldbox]

The day had been nice. The sun had been up, the weather pleasant, and plenty of well-wishers had said polite and encouraging things. Of course, Celia hadn’t really listened to what the speakers had said, their voices had just kind of faded into incomprehensible nonsense as they had droned on and on.

The long-haired, piggy-tail wearing blonde had boarded the bus, and chosen a seat toward the front – the “cool” kids always wanted to sit in the back and Celia had never cared enough to bother with popularity, the latest gossip, or the most popular trend. It wasn’t that she was above such things, simply that those subjects had never held her attention long.

While the other girls had begun to talk or had turned on their handhelds and slipped their earbuds on, Celia had simply pressed her head against the bus’s window and watched the world go by. The world had faded to a buzz, as it often did, and Celia had lost herself in thought.

She thought about what the next few weeks would bring; adventure, death-defying challenges, camaraderie, and the outdoors - all the good and bad that came with that. She was imagining the victory party they would have when, in two weeks, Rosewood won the challenge, and made all those boys look silly, when a shout rose above the dim buzz and shattered her daydream.

Celia turned in her seat and raised an eyebrow when she saw Raina stand. It took her mind a moment to piece together what occurred and in that moment two other girls decided to chime in. In Celia’s opinion, neither was very nice, but the second girl was just downright bitchy.

She rose to her knees, her elbows upon the seat back, “C’mon girls, if we’re going to beat Evergreen then we can’t be fighting among ourselves. I mean, we were all chosen for a reason and our best bet of winning is by working together." At least she thought they'd been chosen. This wasn't the entire graduating class, was it? It was probably one of those things that she hadn't heard during that speech that she hadn't paid attention to.

"Guaranteed those boys aren’t going to be all “let’s just leave him behind because he’s afraid of Acolyte’s Mount”," she said in a deeper tone, her best impersonation of a guy.

"I mean, seriously, I doubt there’s still a demon haunting the place, but at least we’ll be dropped off during the day with enough time to get off the mountain, right? But, that’s not the point,” she said as she corrected herself and attempted to bring her train of thought back in line. She blinked and chewed on her lower lip, “anyway, what I was trying to say is... it was a beautiful day until you all started fighting." Wait, that wasn't right either.

Celia pursed her lips thoughtfully, a look of realization - that what she wanted to say would just cause more problems - crossed her face, then she turned forward in her seat, slipped off her knees, and returned her attention to her own business.

Lux looked at the other boys, He wasn't so much interested in the back and forth discussion of how they'd do and what the place was. He did however look up when someone asked what the place was. "Didn't you do any reading on it?" He asked, His hand was held out in mid air, over a magic crystal he was using to project a movie in to the air in-front of him. He sighed and took the crystal out the air and smiled. "Its called that because ages ago a bunch of lunatic students from Rosewood tried to summon a demon and it got loose and blew them all to shit." He said and then shrugged. "Apparently its still trapped up there, not that I would put any creedence in that. but if it is, It'd be a good fight." He added and sighed, realising he'd gotten involved in the conversation. He was wearing a thermal shirt and a pair of lose jeans, Aeon his familiar was buzzing round his head, the orb of light and energy seemed to be exited in one way or another. Lux was behind Sorrell seating wise so he didn't have to shout across the bus to talk to them. "Then again, there is the upside that I bet some of the girls will be more worried about hair dryers and broken nails than demons and whatever else is out there." He added and shook his head. "So, any bets on where the first feather is or what the challenges will be?" He asked now comitted to the conversation he'd unwillingly joined.

Inanimado was sitting in the back of the bus, her fingers combing through the long silver strands as she looked up at the girls that were discussing such needles things among themselves. She didn't care for the Challenge so much as they seemed to do. All she wanted to do was just find her brother, find the truth about him. She couldn't believe, no she couldn't accept, the fact that he would have just died. Yet she would soon find out how much of a challenge this Challenge was gonna be actually. She sighed as she looked up, her soft violet eyes moving to Raina who was now mostly under attack by the rest of the girls.

"I think it is a very nice starting point" She said softly to no one in particular. She wasn't much of a talker, she wasn't the most social person and she hated to be working in groups. Definitely with such strong and loud personalities as the dark caster and their fire caster. She looked out of the window, watching the world pass by for a moment. She sighed as she moved to sit with her back towards the window, curled up as she pulled her legs up.

"We shouldn't be discussing the starting point, since we are not gonna chance anything about that. We can only accept it and make the best of it" She muttered softly. Lisic had made a soft complaining sound when she changed her position, forcing the little fox from her lap. Her spirit familiar jumped back on the back seat and sat curled up as well underneath her legs. "So we better start discussing tactics, for if there is indeed some demon like the stories tell" She really didn't want to work with a group, but right now it seemed the most sensible thing to do for their first challenge. After that she would figure out if she could sneak of or not. She did believe in her own strength, besides she wasn't here for the challenge, though she knew it would be hard to avoid all of it.

Malachai was grinning softly as Kissa rolled over to his back and he played over the belly. His fingers formed ripples in the fur, like it would do to water. Something that was quite logical, seen the fact his familiar was made of his element, water. He listened to the other boys talking, not wanting to admit that he was quite nervous about this whole ordeal. Definitely not after the last comment Lux had made. He shook his head softly at the question about the feathers, Mala would be happy if they would just arrive in one piece at their destination. He liked having both on the ground and as long as he did not look out of the window, he could perfectly pull of this simple bus ride idea.

His eyes traveled back to the first boy that had spoken. "I am at least excited that will mean we have some vast ground under our feet" He spoke with a friendly smile on his face. His parents had not at all been happy about their 'baby boy' being selected for this Caster Challenge. Malachai himself was nervous, yet excited. He was fully aware of the fact that he would not have the normal protection as he had at home. Yet this way he would be able to see something of the world, learn things about different climates, since he was convinced they would have them run through different climates. "As for the feathers. Maybe at the Swamps of No Return?" He answered as he looked over at Lux, his eyes slightly averted. He had honesly no idea where the feathers would be, so it was just a guess.

Or maybe a sliver of hope it would be somewhere within a connection with water. He, as a water caster, of course disliked being far away from water. For several reasons, water made him stronger and he was more calm when he was in a humid, cold enviroment. He shrugged softly. "I honestly don't know. I had not expected being chosen for this" He said, yet he was gonna make the best of it. He might not be a strong fighter, but he knew the others were. However he was a very good healer and in the end that counted as well. Because you weren't gonna make it with just fighting, definitely not over the time span they would be facing challenges.

And there they were, all of them finally on journey to Acolyte's Mount to face the Caster's Challenge. How exciting. So exciting, that the first thing they had departed, Lou had crawled on the backseat and pulled his red beanie down his face, used his magic to dull his sense of hearing to almost nothing and taken a nap.

Eventually however, his spell had subsided and his hearing had returned, along with slight stinging pain on his left earlobe and an annoying tinnitus. The sound of a conversation drew the youngblood out of his slumber, as the other boys were holding some kind of bowwow couple of seats from where he sat. Lou groaned quietly to himself, displeased for being woken up and about the fact that his ass was about to fall asleep again more likely than he was. He sat upright and pulled the beanie off his face, squinting his still half-asleep, tawny eyes at the direction of the other boys that were chatting, but remained quiet. Lou rubbed his eye, as if to rub the rest of the sleep out as let out a big yawn. He was nowhere close to at least as of yet to join the conversation, because forming any sort of intelligent speech was impossible so soon after waking up. So instead Lou decided to stretch his legs a bit to get the blood flowing again. He stood up, stretched his back, the joints letting out a quiet crack, the striped shirt and denim jacket rising and exposing a sliver of skin between them and the waistband of his black skinny jeans. Then Lou made his way towards the front of the bus, to see if they were anywhere near their destination yet.

And of course, the answer was a firm no. The front window was not showing any kind of signs of any sort of landmarks that could tell Lou where exactly they were on the map.

"Please, don't touch anything, son." The chauffeur instructed him when he stepped anywhere close to all the gadgets in the front. The sleepy boy just threw a nasty, unimpressed glare at the old man's direction.

"...Yes," Lou started, his voice still husky from sleep and tone sarcastic but expression giving nothing away, "because whenever I'm shoved inside a giant, flying metal dildo that I'm not educated how to navigate, hovering thousands of feet above sea level, located somewhere west from Middle-of-Fucking-Nowhere and hundred-and-seventy degrees from Where-the-Hell-Are-We, I have the habit of pushing all the buttons I can possibly get my hands on." He finished with a scoff. The chauffeur had turned to stare at the boy who was wearing the red beanie, struck speechless over how to respond to that snark. Lou's tone was regarded with silent uncertainty.

"Please don't touch--" The man started, but Lou cut him off.
"Of course I won't fucking touch anything. Do I look suicidal to you?" The chauffeur took a deep breath to respond, but Lou cut him off again, raising his hand. "You know what, on second thought, don't answer that."

Lou turned around and headed back towards the group of boys, and took a seat next to the group across from the aisle with a massive sigh and leaned his head against the window. It was a curse at being so good at sarcasm that people did not always detect it, and thought he was either completely serious or stupid. Or bit of both.

Young and excited a short haired girl stood in a crowded space with others friends and family. Marion stood entirely alone accept the company of her Familiar, a lion named Adira, whom she kept under her hand for reassurance. beginning to feel board she mounted her Familiar and as her name was called upon for her to walk up onto the stage wave goodbye and mount the bus she let her companion walk her up on the stage as she waved goodbye a false smile playing on her face and let her Familiar walk her up to the bus.

dismounting Adira and climbing the stairs of the bus Marion let a tear escape down her cheek, she wasn't about to have another 'Depression attack' now walking to the back of the bus she took a seat to herself and waited for everyone else to mount the bus keeping the seat she had given to herself she then placed her bag below it and hitched it to a piece of loose metal so it didn't move and crawled atop her Familiar and fell asleep.

Waking up a few hours later Marion put her hair behind her ear, a habit that she had when she was nervous and looked out into the soft blue she smiled but yawned, not paying attention to the other girls, Marion was entirely lost in thought. 'Zoom! out of the corner of her eye something ran passed. Interested as to what had passed her she began making her way through a thick jungle. Everloo Jungle I believed they called it? famous for their great lake Everloo and the Loo birds that lived their (Loo birds are a mix between a crane and heron)? Marion didn't care she caught sight of what moved so fast passed her, a large lion smiling lightly she giggled "Hello their Adira" how she knew the name she didn't know but the lion gently moved toward her allowing her onto his large back smiling at the gesture she mounted her and looked up to see a single object falling, Adira jumped allowing Marion to catch the falling object, grabbing it Marion looked at what she had caught, it was one of four she needed as she tried to put it in her bag she dropped it and it floated away and into the hands of a masculine figure raged filled her and she lept from the lion to attack the man as her hand touched him he and everything else just began to disappear like a projector in school turning on but the effect was opposite. Disturbed with her thoughts Marion sat up in her seat knowing well she hadn't blinked once that entire time. Sitting up she looked for another source that could have pulled her from it, letting her eyes rest upon her fellow friend the dark caster who seemed to have by the small conversation around her yelled out in distress furrowing her eyebrows Marion tilted her head and looked to the young dark caster "Raina? are you okay?" Marion asked, a trace of curiosity in her voice, her mind begged to know what had happened in the short time she had zoned out but her mouth wouldn't let her ask.

Although it was Evergreen institute Toby wasn't thrilled to leave it's sound walls, being at the ceremony was the last place he wanted to be, grabbing his Pair phone he plugged in his head phones and began listening to Panic! at the Disco's new song, grabbing his bag he acted like he was going to the ceremony, but he snuk out and went to a near by coffee shop getting himself a large hazel nut coffee with milk, sugar, and whipped cram with caramel and chocolate drizzle. Smiling profoundly at his coffee he walked back to the ceremony ground to find the bus pulling away, running after it the bus came to a stop and let him on and than began again.

Walking down the isle of the bus he was lurched into the seat of the young water caster, looking to the other caster he looked scared like he was going to hurt him "Oh my god I'm so sorry" he was fairly certain that his stuck bundle had hit the other square in the nose. Taking an empty seat across from the other male Toby's Familiar had her front two paws up against his back almost like she was trying to push him away petting one of the paws the black panther leaned her head down and nuzzled her head against his

[glow=purple][ Sky Bus :: Traveling to Acolyte's Mount ][/glow]

Livi had managed to stay up all night checking and rechecking, and triple checking her things to make sure she was ready for today. She had made sure to charge up well last night too. Hours of hours was spent in careful planning to make sure that today went well for her. There was just one tiny issue, she had forgotten that she needed to rest. She only got a few hours of sleep before she had to be up and ready to board the Sky bus. She was such an idiot. She scolded herself for not thinking about that, now she was at a disadvantage and that wouldn't help her team out at all. She had been lightly drifting here and there but never really finding any peace to actually fall asleep. Kiara, her familiar, was curled in her lap fast asleep, Livi was a little bit jealous of how comfortable Kiara was compared to her. She leaned her head against the window, trying to focus on the humming hoping that would lull her to sleep in no time. But of course, lady luck was never on her side.

A loud shout startled both her and Kiara. Snapping her head around in the direction of the alarming sound she stared at the girl's wide-eyed. Was everything okay? Was everyone okay? Her pulse that had quickened with worry slowed down once she realized that it was just an argument. Wait, just an argument? They hadn't even been together long and they were already fighting? This was bad, this was very bad. Fighting was the last thing that they should be doing. Not only was their destination the fated Acolyte's Mount, but they had Evergreen to be concerned about. Now was not the time for division. If anything, now was the time to band together, and support one another. This was ridiculous childish behavior. This wasn't what Dakota had signed up for at all. Besides, too much was resting on them winning, this could not be allowed to continue.

Pushing up the red frame of her glasses with her middle finger, Dakota turned her amber eyes on the group of girls that were causing discord within the group. She opened her mouth to speak, to tell them to quit this nonsense and propose they focus on something meaningful, like figuring out a plan, but someone had beat her to the punch. "So we better start discussing tactics, for if there is indeed some demon like the stories tell" A girl in the back of the bus spoke up. Dakota couldn't recall her name at the moment, but her face was familiar. She probably should've taken the time to remember more about the people she went to school with rather than always hitting the books.

"She's right y'know. Instead of working ourselves up over something that we can't change, we should be trying to figure out what we can work with. Arguing like this isn't going to get us that winning title at the end of the challenge. In fact, it ensures our defeat. So how about we all breathe for a second please, and try to plan what we should do once we reach our destination. Sounds good, yes?" Livi spoke up from her seat in the middle of the bus, her Australian accent getting a little thick since she had to admit she was nervous of the unknown as well. She wasn't expecting her voice to be as loud as it was, but she wanted to make sure everyone heard her, her tone was serious and she spoke clearly. Dear gods, if this continued she wouldn't know what to do with herself. She'd have to try and win the thing on her own and that was near to impossible if not impossible already.

Zelda may have been plugged into her music, but thanks to her beloved Loki she was able to be kept up to date on what was going on with everyone. She rolled her eyes at the dwarf of their team and took her earbuds out and went back to sitting on her knees to watch everyone. She caught the question Marion asked and what little Dakota said and smiled. Turning towards the back, Zelda looked Marion up and down a bit before finally deciding what to call her. "Don't worry about her, Cub. Shadow here is just freaking out over the little things." She states with a kind smile before turning to little Dakota. "You have a point there, little Sugar. Look towards the prospect of winning this challenge instead of worrying about the starting point. You have a right smart head on your shoulders, don't ya?" She states, smiling wider at little Dakota. For some reason, Marion and Dakota always brought out a kinder side to her, probably because they were just too damn kind to even exist in this world and she felt the need to protect them. Loki just sat on his caster's shoulders, gently wrapped around her neck and swayed to and fro, hissing every now and again.

Sorrell was happy talking to some of the other boys when Louis walked past to check out the front window, probably to see if they had arrived yet. Of course they hadn't yet but instead let the bigger and older male do as he pleased, silently watching the physical elemental pretty much reply to the chauffeur with nothing but sarcastic remarks. That went on for a few minutes before Louis decided to sit down across from the group. Sorrell blushed at the sight of Louis and quickly looked down so as to not show that he was watching him. He had admired Louis from afar and grew to have a crush on him this past year. Sighing, he looked back to listen to the others and hear there thoughts on the challenge and their destination. His familiar, a starry wolf he had lovingly named Ammy, had other plans. Removing herself from under his seat, Ammy padded her way to Louis and barked at him to gain his attention, her tail wagging.

Sorrell looked up when he heard his familiar and blanched at how she just went up to Louis and barked at him. The silverette got up and quickly made his way over to his familiar. "Ammy... what is the matter girl?" He quickly asked, placing a gentle hand on the wolf. He looked up at Louis and gave a shy and apologetic smile. "I-I'm sorry, Louis. She has never done this before."

Inanimado's lips moved somewhat up in a small smile. That was all there was to it as the girl didn't really show any emotions, she much rather just kept to herself. Yet it was nice to have some back up as she looked at Dakota and Zelda. "Thank you for having some common sense as well" She sighed softly as she moved up from her seat to walk a bit closer towards the two agreeing with her. Still she stood a bit lost in the path between the seats holding on to one of the handles. Lisic had followed her and now jumped onto the seat of Marion. The little fox just being a bit curiously, yet still cautious like his caster.

"So I think the most important thing is to figure out what we are up against, if there is indeed such a thing as a demon on the loose" She just started to discuss their tactics. The rest could join in if they were calmed down. She could of course use her personal spell "Spirit Eyes" for it. However she wasn't planning on wasting lot of her energy for maybe nothing. Furthermore the fact that she would be practically blind and had to trust on these people didn't comfort her at all. No, right now she didn't trust them enough to walk blindly among them, helpless even. Definitely not if those boys would be around. "So how are we gonna figure out if there is a demon?" She muttered more to herself than to somoene else. The free fingers tapping against her lips as she thought.

"Maybe those boys are stupid enough to just run head first into it. Then again if there is no demon, they might have a head start" She sighed as she blinked violet eyes. Maybe the rumors just were intended to freak them out about things like this. Then again this was the Casters Challenge, so it might as well be very true. There were just so many uncertainties...

His thoughts were quickly distracted by a loud boy that was pestering the driver so it seemed. He held his breath, the harsh words and the once again reminder that they were up in the air, didn't do him any good. However before he could react any further on it, something blocked his view and hit him harsh against the nose. He gasped in surprise as he moved his hand upwards, when thick red liquid started to drip out. Way to go, not even at the Challenge and you are already beaten into submission by... He looked up to the one across of him now... a wooden stick...

Never the less he pulled his lips into a friendly smile as the other started to apologize. He pinched the bridge of his nose to make the bleeding stop as he held back his head. A very faded blue glow coming from his fingers as he healed the nosebleed, since that was all it really was. Not that anything worse would have caused much trouble, since he was a good healer. "It is okay, I should have paid attention" He said softly, taking part of the blame on himself as well. He looked over the brown haired male for a moment, his attention mostly caught by the deep black panther.

He let go of his nose, the drips of blood on his shirt the only reminders of what had happened. Luckily it wasn't that obviously as Kissa moved into lick the blood of his face. "Kissa, that tickles..." He grinned, his eyes sparkling as he playfully pushed the kitten away. Only then realizing he was ignoring the other caster and a soft blush came to his cheeks. He hated it how easily he blushed, both for ignoring the other as well as his bit childish behavior. "I am sorry..." He muttered almost silently. "Toby it was right?" He asked as he looked at the boy with a friendly smile. He did know most of the other boys name, but he had hardly interacted with them for some reason.

Her Spoken words

Marion herd another girl the voice this time recognizable it was Zelda "Don't worry about her, Cub. Shadow here is just freaking out over the little things." smiling brightly she looked to Zelda and nodded "Alright if you say so Mama Bear" Mama Bear was her typical response to Zelda calling her Cub. Giggling as she watched Adira climb up and onto the top of the seats the open spot next to her shook a little and then a voice started to form, looking over she found Inanimado's body occupying the once empty spot. "So I think the most important thing is to figure out what we are up against, if there is indeed such a thing as a demon on the loose" Marion nodded thinking back to her daydream she was just about to get lost in her thought again when another question was asked "So how are we gonna figure out if there is a demon?" Marion was about to answer but the other girl interrupted her again "Maybe those boys are stupid enough to just run head first into it. Then again if there is no demon, they might have a head start" Waiting patiently Marion waited a few moments before speaking to make sure she didn't interrupt the other girl "Hey, if you want you me and a few other girls, the more the better can bless the area. It'll last three days and the soundings if demonic can't harm us in the three day grace period, but if it's only 2 people it'll be pretty weak and their's a potential of it breaking but if theirs more of us then the stronger it is the less of a chance it has of breaking. Sadly it'll cost one fourth of our mana per person, But it's the best way to ensure our safety for three days."

His Spoken Words
Toby had his smile widen when the other boy say that he's the one that should have been paying attention although them colliding was his fault, watching the other boy interact with his kitten intrigued him, he liked it when others were good with animals it meant they cared, petting Raz atop her large black head he shifted himself in the seat still watching him taking no notice to the blush spreading across the boys face he giggled as he apologized and asked if his name was Toby making an effort to stop smiling but failing he replied "Yeah I'm Toby. Oh and you don't have to apologize for playing with your kitten."

Lux shook his head at the others and settled back, pulling out the projection crystal out of his pack again he held it between his fingers and started to project light through it. Projection crystals, gemstones that have micro etchings that can be projected through with light to produce pictures, words or other such things, a lighter and easier way to store books for a light mage. "SHIT." he hissed and dropped the crystal, which proceeded to shatter on the floor, looking at his palm he saw a small red circle with a cracked black core. slowly working his palm back and forth he looked at the injury unsure of what had caused it. grabbing his back from overhead with his ininjured hand he raided through it to look for one of his actually books and one of the small pots of burn salve he had. The smell of seared flesh was quite pervasive and he didn't want to distract anyone else. Propping the book up on the little tray from the chair infront of him he set about flicking through it while attemping to open the burn salve. He wasn't fused about the razor shards of crystal now rolling about the floor. he had boots on, anyone who was barefooted however may have a issue.

Eventually he popped the burn salve open and took a moment to apply it to his scorched palm and started to flick through the book he'd brought with him. It was the only book he'd bothered to bring, excluding the now ruined Projection Crystal, the book was on the subject of light magic, radiation and its cost upon the user. He was sure the pathetic amount of light he was using had less than 1 GY worth of radiational energy in it, and even if it had his predicted 1 or so there should have been no effect on the caster, hell it was weaker than a god dam flash light. He sighed, continuing to work his way through the book. Closing the pot of foul smelling salve he put it back in his backpack, The backpack itself was large enough to carry everything he'd need, or thought he would, and had quick release clasps in case he needed to drop it in a hurry. going back to working his way through the book he sighed, There was nothing here, jack shit, Plenty of information on channelling radiation as a weapon and the effects of the light spectrum upon the target, Including things like using Microwave radiation to boil liquids in a pinch through to using gamma radiation to induce burns and such, even a few pages on using cosmic radiation as a weapon, but nothing on patheticly low levels of energy giving the caster 2nd degree burns. He growled and looked at the wound on his hand. That'd take 2 or three days to heal he guessed but he wasn't a medical expert. Not that it mattered. He hadn't told anyone, even the teachers about the cost of casting Genesis in anger, it was probably one of the reasons he was allowed to come on this trip, the only light caster in the entire collage who could do something more than patch people up. Not that it didn't have its costs, Radiation burns, Near death expirances, Heart stopping moments (Literally), along with the continual chance of his spells blowing up in his own face if someone so much as poked him mid cast. He shook his head and kicked the shattered crystal shards across the floor in frustration, It was almost as if the very essence of magic itself was against light being turned in to a weapon and punished those who tried it, Even his most simple of combat spells burnt his hands, and it wasn't as if he could protect himself with gloves or something.

[glow=red][ Evergreen's Sky Bus; En Route to Acolyte's Mount ][/glow]

Lou had barely let his forehead drop against the glass and gotten comfortable enough to start feeling apathetic (he highly disliked being confined in small space without anything to do, he was very active after all) and started bouncing his knee up and down, full of restless energy, when a familiar approached him. A bark snapped him back from the sullen, displeased state of mind, and Lou turned his attention towards the source. It turned out to be a wolf with entire galaxies sprinkled on its dark indigo fur, eyes magnificent white shining orbs like the headlights of a car. Oddly enough, the sparkle of it did not hurt his eyes, it was like it was dimmer and more pleasant to the eye. The wolf was wagging its tail and looking up at him expectantly, meanwhile Lou just kind of stared at it dumbfounded.

Then the owner approached quick behind, looking flustered for his familiar bothering others. "Ammy... what is the matter girl?" The boy, maybe couple of years younger than Lou, with white hair and amethystine eyes asked the familiar, just as soft spoken as his touch was gentle on the familiar's galactic fur. Louis observed the details in silence, until the boy looked up at him, all shy and apologetic. If Lou had known better, he would have said the kid looked nervous. Was he that scary? Lou was aware that at school he was perceived a bit hotheaded troublemaker, but he was fairly sure he had never done anything personally to this little guy.

"I-I'm sorry, Louis. She has never done this before." Sorrell mumbled, stuttering the first part out. Lou locked his tawny eyes with Sorrell and cocked his eyebrow at him, wondering what the hell was this kid's problem. Eventually Lou just shrugged and scratched his head through the red beanie, lopsided smile lifting the left corner of his mouth.

"'S okay," he said and reached to offer his hand for the wolf to sniff on, "I like animals. Far better than people, so this girl's fine. I wish I had a familiar too, but we can't always get what we want, huh?" Lou scratched the wolf by its ruff, and he could have sworn freaking shooting stars flew out.

Before he could pay further attention to it, some commotion happened across the aisle among the other boys. Someone smacked the other in the face with a staff or something, and the kid's nose was bleeding. Louis observed silently as he kept petting the familiar, watching as Toby and Malachai exchanged apologies politely back and forth like the good mannered kids they were. But not too short after another went down, and the Light Mage's swore loudly out of nowhere and dropped the projection crystal that shattered in a miniature explosion on the floor. That at least got Lou jumping a bit in surprise on his seat. Lux immediately tended to himself, and just a moment later Lou could smell it. Burnt skin. Well, of course it was not that bad since the burn was just a second degree and had not gone all the way to the flesh and nerve endings, but still. Lou wrinkled his nose in disgust in the sickly sweet smell, like acrid charcoal and beef left to fry for too long. He had to hold in the urge to gag when he suddenly remembered the bacon he had had this morning for breakfast. And they were flying, it was not like they could crack open a window to get rid of the smell, could they? Thanks a lot, dimwit.

"...Well, this is off to a promising start," Louis said with overly upbeat tone once he had managed to swallow his breakfast back down, mostly to himself and Sorrell, sarcasm dripping from his words, "We're not even there yet and my teammates are already trying to kill each other. What could ever go wrong?" Then the tawny eyes of the older boy found Sorrell's again, his voice dropping back to more serious. "You know my name, right? I've seen you around in school a lot, but I don't remember yours. Sorry 'bout that. I'm not that good with names." He turned to now dual scratch the wolf's ruff, cooing at the familiar. "But yours I'll remember now! Who's a good girl? Who's a good girl? Ammy's a good girl, that's right."

Louis Maddox might have been slightly intimidating, but once you got past the first impression, one would learn quickly that he was actually just a massive dork.

Raina scowled and half turned toward the girl who thought it necessary to whistle within a confined space; she wasn't deaf for crying out loud. "We all get that you are nervous about the starting point, most of us here are as well. But don't go getting your panties in a knot over the beginning of this challenge. If you get worked up now, you will be useless when we get there and we will lose the challenge to those Evergreen boys. Do you want that to happen, Raina?" She bit the inside of her cheek as her eyes narrowed. Before she could snap at her though, another voice piped up,

"If that Raina girl messes the whole challenge, just kick her out of the group. Can't let the poison stays and infects the whole group." And the cherry on the cake, "Ehem! I mean... Do you really want to keep a girl that slowing you down?"

Raina completely faced the others then, arms crossed over her chest and weight shifting to her right hip. "Let's get one thing clear here, I'm a freak'n dark caster. Do you even know what that means? We're the ones working from the shadows. We handle the niddy-griddy part of politics and public affairs whether it be manipulating the rumor mill or slipping something extra in some nobleman's wine. Lies and secrets are practically our trade, so when I feel something is up. Something. Is. Up. Use whatever half of a brain is between you all and think about this mess for a moment. A bunch of know-it-alls sent a bunch of snot-noes-brats to the presumed feeding grounds of a demon, and for Pete's sakes we're casters, we don't take lore with a grain of salt. So what does that mean for us, hm? It means they've finally figured out what's out there and want us to deal with it. We're nothing but pawns in a game of chest being sacraficed for the good of the king." She paced forward until she stood over the girl who suggested doing away with her and smirked. "Taking out the competition? I like that. I'm not much of a team player anyhow. The only reason I'm here is because administration went straight to my Thane, my grandmother. The sneak little..." By the end of her little speech she had turned and walked back up to the front of the bus grumbling to herself.

For the most part she tuned out everything that was being said until a little voice piped up questioning her well being. She snorted, "Peachy." She wasn't much interested in the whole tactic planning thing. If anyone asked her they were over thinking it. It was a simple matter of using her shadows to scout the area. Granted she was the only dark caster in the group which meant she could only scout small areas at a time, but she had a sneaking suspicion if they found the demon, they would find their first feather. She wasn't about to say anything though. She was just the wannabe politician, what did she know? Let them say grace and worry about the boys. The less people she had to worry about, the better.

"I honestly don't know. I had not expected being chosen for this."

Trent chuckled at Malachai's remark, "Honestly, I don't think any of us did. Well, excluding those who volunteered. Me? I'm just along for the ride. Can't be that bad, right? I mean, no one's died yet
!" It was the boy wearing the beanie who had distracted him from seeing the whole Malachai being abused by someone's stick bundle thing, and he watched curiously as he made his way to the front. He certainly had the bad boy vibe coming off of him, and he certainly did not look easy on the eyes from behind, but what really interested the fire caster was his words to the chauffeur. He bit his lip and quickly adverted his gaze when the guy returned, this time taking up a seat closer to Trent. The fire caster did have have quite the soft spot for humor, and over hearing someone going around telling everyone tbey were riding in large flying dildos touched down on that, but he was also raised on old fashion country manners and didn't want to burst into loud, obnoxious laughter at something he probably wasn't suppose to hear.

He jumped though, when something shattered on the floor and was quickly followed by a curse. It was the light caster who commented before on the origins of Acolytes' Mount. He wasn't entirely sure what happened considering just moments before he was trying not to laugh like a lunatic at someone's rather inappropriate remark, but he had burnt himself enough to know what smell of seared flesh smelled like. "Hey, you alright? What happened?" The gravity caster had moved to reign in his familiar, allowing to take his seat and peer over at the blonde behind it just in time to see him apply a salve to him wound before taking to rooting through a book. "Hey, I can heal that for you if you like. Well, well with the off chance of blowing your hand off but that's why we have two, right?" It was a joke, mostly, playing on his own tendency of blowing things up. What? There was nothing wronge with admiring a good bang.

Inanimado could feel the atmosphere changing around her, growing more hostile with the comments that had been made as she looked up towards Raina. And I am a Spirit caster, nothing like your lurking shadows. We can truly make your nightmares become reality. She however didn't speak those thoughts out loud, not wanthing to cause any more trouble than there already was. And definitely not wanting to face more rage and anger as it disturbed her calm energy. She took a deep breath as she concentrated back on the conversation at hand.

Blessing the area was not a bad idea persay, but it meant that they would have to work together. At the moment it didn't really seem like that would happen. Definitely not now that Raina spoke out so clearly rather wanting to go off on her own. "Not a bad idea, but the cost is high and the risk even higher" She spoke as her violet gaze moved back to Marion. Besides who said they were gonna be stuck on this mountain for three days. She shook her head slightly as she leaned with one hip against the side of a seat.

It was best to just face whatever was out there, if there was anything out there. However the dark casters words had not landed upon deaf ears. It sounded logical to send a group of young caster to face something that was apparently more than just lore. Suicide some might say, but it wouldn't be a Challenge with a bit of a struggle, now would it be? "I agree with your words, Raina. Part of it at least. We should be careful, but we should also stay together. The lore says that this demon is strong and even fully learned casters are not able to take him down on their own" She finally spoke, her gaze not having shifted from the ground. "So teamplayer or not... I guess we have no choice" The last words showing her disintrest in staying together as well. She didn't care about the damn feathers or the challenge, all she wanted was to figure out what the hell happened to her brother.

The giggle of the other only made him blush a bit more as Malachai averted his gaze downwards. "I sometimes just get too distracted by him" He said back as he pushed Kissa a bit down. The kittens ears peaking up at the sound of the crystal falling and shattering on the floor. The foul smell of burnt flesh quickly followed and the young water caster automatically moved up. Back at school he had taken some free hours to work in the infirmary to work on his healing skills, so he was quite used to the nasty effects spells could have.

Malachai moved quickly, though apparently he was beaten to reaching the wounded person first as a blond guy. "Hey, I can heal that for you if you like. Well, well with the off chance of blowing your hand off but that's why we have two, right?" The darkhaired boy shook his head as he moved careful not to shatter the crystal any further under his boots. "Or you could let me heal it and actually keep both your hands and have back full function in just a few minutes" He said softly as without thinking he took the damaged hand in his. Second degree burns, luckily not any muscles or nerves seemed to be damaged much.

His free hand moved to take a little vail of water he always kept with him. "It is not that bad... I have seen worse" He stated as he let a drop of water fall on the wound. He put the cork back on the vail before pocketing it. His finger moving through the water as he placed a quick healing rune over the wound. "It might feel a bit cold, and sting perhaps" He informed as he kept hold of the wrist of the light caster. Though it was a gentle grip, it was demanding enough to keep the others hand still so the water would not roll off. "Don't close your hand" He warned as that would nullify the healing progress. It would take some time before the healing would be visible as it worked under the skin first.

Zelda only rolled her eyes at Raina's comments and wanted to smack her but refrained by turning her attention to the spirit caster and listened to what she had to say and took that into consideration along with Marion's suggestion at probably blessing the area. She weighed the option, trying to see if such a thing would be beneficial to them. On one hand, the demon may be there and blessing the area would hold it at bay if they had the right amount of casters but their magic would be depleted by a quarter than what they have at the moment. Not to mention that if the stories of the demon were not true and just some wild rumor, that would mean that they wasted their magic for nothing. From her view point, maybe doing such a spell would not work in their favor after all. Turning to look at Marion, the fire caster gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry cub, but thinking about it, it seemed as though the cons outweighed the pros. Guess we will have to just watch where we step and be on guard." She explained, getting up from her seat and moving to sit with Marion. "It was a good suggestion though."

Sorrell could only chuckle at the sight of Louis being a dork to Ammy, though the galaxy wolf was not objective to having attention given to her and barked happily, wagging her tail even more and give the physical elemental's hand a lick. It was then Sorrell caught what Louis had said to him and could only inwardly sigh. It was true that he and Louis only ever had very few words spoken in passing during their days at school and he couldn't fault him for forgetting the silverette's name. Deciding not to say that they had, had several words spoken before Sorrell looked at Louis and smiled in a friendlier matter. "My name is Sorrell Edelstein. We had a few classes together back at the institute." He introduced himself, bowing his head a bit in greeting. He heard the commotion going on and looked to see what was happening only to see Trent, Malachai and Lux all conversing. Something about blowing up someone's hand and healing it. What the heck where these guys talking about? "I think you may be right... everyone is going to kill one another before we even get to Acolytes Mount." He didn't even notice that sarcasm dripped from his words before it was too late and Sorrell had to quickly cover his mouth as to stop something else that would either be sarcastic or stupid.

"jeez guys its only a burnt palm. no need to go all Florence nightingale on me." He said, but smiled non the less. "So I guess that means we've found the guy who's patching us back up after each fight. It'd be nice if we'd had a chance to get to talk before they threw us on this bus off to some god forsaken mountain." He looked at his hand and then the other two. "Though I'd prefer if we kept the explosions for anything trying to murder us." He said and then stretched a little, looking back at his hand. "So, That would make you a water caster. and You are?" He said looking up at Malachai. He then folded his book away and put it in his bag. "I'm Lux by the way. I never got your names." He added, He'd never been in meny of the normal classes, refusing to learn healing light magic and mostly focusing on older and stronger magics.

[glow=blue][ Rosewood's Sky Bus :: Traveling to Acolyte's Mount ][/glow]

"You have a point there, little Sugar. Look towards the prospect of winning this challenge instead of worrying about the starting point. You have a right smart head on your shoulders, don't ya?" Zelda said to her with a smile. Livi nodded in her direction, thankful that she was cooperating and joining her side. She had always been nice to her which was refreshing compared to how some could be so mean. In fact, it was rumored she had a mean streak as well, but with Livi she was always nice. She had no idea what she did to find favor in her eyes, but she wasn't complaining at all. "I like to think so, yes," Livi said to Zelda with a smile.

The girl with silver hair that spoke up before decided to do so again. Trying to brainstorm a way for them to even figure out if there was a demon on this Mount in the first place. Which was a good start, Dakota would have to agree. "Hey, if you want you me and a few other girls, the more the better can bless the area. It'll last three days and the soundings if demonic can't harm us in the three-day grace period, but if it's only 2 people it'll be pretty weak and their's a potential of it breaking but if theirs more of us then the stronger it is the less of a chance it has of breaking. Sadly it'll cost one-fourth of our mana per person, But it's the best way to ensure our safety for three days." Another girl spoke up, she couldn't remember her name either. This wasn't good, she should at least know the names of her teammates. The girl that had made this suggestion had short brown hair. Livi pursed her lips at this. It wasn't too bad of an idea, there was just a problem. Casting without knowing if there was something for them to cast against. Otherwise, it would be a waste of time and mana and that would put them at a disadvantage. No, they shouldn't do something like this until they find out if there really is a--

"Let's get one thing clear here, I'm a freak'n dark caster. Do you even know what that means? We're the ones working from the shadows. We're nothing but pawns in a game of chest being sacrificed for the good of the king." Raina paced forward confronting the girl that had suggested ditching her, "Taking out the competition? I like that. I'm not much of a team player anyhow. The only reason I'm here is because administration went straight to my Thane, my grandmother. The sneak little..."

Livi didn't have to wonder who this ray of sunshine was. She had heard enough about her over the years, besides, it was kind of hard to not know about her. Sighing and rubbing her temples with her slender fingers, Livi wondered if it would be better to just call it quits now. Her so-called-team was already in such disarray and they hadn't even touched down yet. "I agree with your words, Raina. Part of it at least. We should be careful, but we should also stay together. The lore says that this demon is strong and even fully learned casters are not able to take him down on their own" She finally spoke, her gaze shifted from the ground. "So team player or not... I guess we have no choice"

The silver-haired girl was right again. Livi had a feeling this girl would be easy to get along with compared to others on this bus. "She's right, to be honest, Raina, it doesn't really matter what you feel." Livi bit her lip realizing how harsh that sounded, "And it's not like that's meant it be rude but, individually, it doesn't matter how any of us feel, the fact of the matter is there is a time and a place for everything. Right now is not the time to moan and complain about how we're pawns in somebody's unfair game. Yes it sucks, I'm sure everyone can agree. But complaining and moaning about it isn't going to change the fact that we're going there and it certainly won't save our asses out there. So even if you're not a team player, you have no choice but to be one, because dark caster or not being on your own is simply not an option." Sighing Livi tapped her finger against her cheek trying to think.

"Right now we're focusing on the fact of finding out if there's a demon or not. But we're totally ignoring another factor, the Evergreen boys. What if, instead of stressing over a demon that may or may not be there, we focus our attention to what we know will be there. I feel like if we brainstorm enough, we can probably think of a plan to get the boys to play to our favor. Maybe instead of us trying to find the demon ourselves we can manipulate them to find out for us? I don't know how well this could work, but it could save us from needlessly casting and using up our mana for no reason. What do you guys think?"

Kiara purred and meowed happily, rubbing up against her. Livi hadn't even realized she had been shaking, guess the nerves were starting to get to her now.

Marion nodded hearing Raina's Response to her question cringing slightly at the harsh tone she used she looked to Inanimado "Not a bad idea, but the cost is high and the risk even higher" Marion shrugged looking down thinking she just had a bad idea, hearing Zelda's voice her head shot up and found the source of the sound "Sorry cub, but thinking about it, it seemed as though the cons outweighed the pros. Guess we will have to just watch where we step and be on guard." Hearing a reason definitely helped nodding her head she looked out the Window and and nearly choked she knew they were reaching their destination but the bus was so high in the air and they still couldn't see the top of the mountain and out of the coroner of her eye she spotted another sky bus fading in and out of the cloud almost like an unsteady star in the nigh sky, turning her attention toward it she couldn't read the letters but their was no mistake they were in a bold green. Livi's words pulled her from the window and back to the Bus Conversation, "She's right, to be honest, Raina, it doesn't really matter what you feel. I don't know how well this could work, but it could save us from needlessly casting and using up our mana for no reason. What do you guys think?" Marion nodded and spoke a little louder so the people in the front could hear her as well swallowing the nervous lump in her throat she said her piece with out a second thought "Guys if were going to devise a plain to make the guys work in our favor then we better hurry, it looks like their sky bus is near ours, I know it'll take another day or two maybe but how long will it take for us all to agree?"

Toby
Toby was about to reply to Malachai when a swear came across his ears standing to go find the souse of the distressed yell, another boy and Malachi had beaten him to it looking over the boy who had swore had blond hair, that's all he could see over the seat. The other boy that came to the rescue was the Gravity caster, he had blond hair and fairly pail skin, Toby thought for a minute, Trent was his name. when he was thinking he must have missed a few responses because the next thing he herd was Malachi's voice "Or you could let me heal it and actually keep both your hands and have back full function in just a few minutes" Zoned out to his soundings he watched Malachi work his water magic when he finished he nodded impressed and turned to look out the opposite window (The one facing away from Rosewood's Sky Bus)"I think you may be right... everyone is going to kill one another before we even get to Acolytes Mount." Toby giggled and then herd the next responce "jeez guys its only a burnt palm. no need to go all Florence nightingale on me. So I guess that means we've found the guy who's patching us back up after each fight. It'd be nice if we'd had a chance to get to talk before they threw us on this bus off to some god forsaken mountain. Though I'd prefer if we kept the explosions for anything trying to murder us." Hearing Lux's resonance made Toby giggle even more, he tried so hard not to laugh tried everything his power but he just ended up falling in the isle in a laughing fit he couldn't help it or explain it. It just happened his familiar Raz just stood on his sear looking at him like he was crazy.
