Can't be me. I don't like roleplaying in PMs. I always end up losing track of them. I'll do them, but I have to be really desperate for the plot and unable to convince my partner to rp in threads. Plus, it makes OOC chit chat easier. PMs are for OOC, threads are for IC. Everything is organized and my brain can function.

As site owner and admin, I do in fact have tools that would allow me to read private messages, as with ALL content on the site. It is a necessary feature should any issues arise.

HOWEVER

Like... no, I don't read people's PMs! That is a terrible violation of people's privacy! People need their privacy. So, as much as I hate that so many members live in the PMs where I can't enjoy their content - it is important to allow that private space!

The only time an admin would peep at PMs is if you are reported for one of our NONO rules - Which is the childporn rule or the Age circumvention rule - and there was justified evidence to do so.

This does mean there is a high chance people are, as we speak, using PMs to skirt around rules. >:[ Sneaky little jerks. You can bet eventually they will be caught, and then I beat them up and kick them out, and when necessary/applicable send a whoooole bunch of stuff to authorities.

BUT YOU'RE ALL WHOLESOME GOOD MEMBERS THAT WOULD NEVER SKIRT AROUND THESE IMPORTANT RULES AND PISS OFF OWLMOM, RIGHT >:[

Hahaha, MY RPs are so cringy. Like, straight out of the gaia text of predictable stories. Even worse (for some people) they are all one liners. The horror. I enjoy one liners so much. Stress free enjoyment. Sadly both of these get a lot of hate so I hide away so I don't get judged haha. But I assure you, I love and enjoy your site very much.

To be fair I can't keep track of threads as easily. There's not a handy page where I have links, who posted last, when they posted, etc. So I tend to forget where things are and if I've replied, etc.

Come to think of it, just a synopsis of my main rp in PM's would probably be interesting. But uhhhhh...... After a while people would easily get sick of it. I can't help that I love putting the same characters in different scenarios over. and over. and over.

Haaave you tried watched threads! That's how I've been keeping track and has been the best way for me! It doesn't get as mashed up with all my admin work content like the PMs do (i get so many PMs that even with the folders system for some reason I just keep losing track of everything =_= )

We also have a bookmarks feature, but it's honestly kinda meeeeh as is. I think I might have to invest in a good upgrade mod for it or something
