I am new to this site, but not to the world of RP. I saw the site liked it's style and decided to give it a go.
Are there any Character rules?
Is there any pre-existing lore I need to read up on?
If not, could we as a community create a community built world?
Should i use Basch in FFXII?

Oh hi! This site is actually not one big roleplay. :) Iwaku hosts multiple roleplays run by many different players, so there's nothing in the way of Character Rules, or Pre-Existing Lore for the site itself. There are worldbuilding projects as well as regular roleplays, but again, these are player-run, not site-wide. Still, Welcome! We have a newbie care package to help you get settled in, if you're interested, and you can also ask any of our staff members, etc if you have any questions.
