Syrenei felt somewhat disheartened by what Menzai said, but he had a point aan some whaterstood what he meant by it too. Getting ones hopes up only to have it getting crushed right in front of you was a feeling she knew all too well, yet she had confidence in her predictions. If anything, her accurant predictions was where most of her confidence was. "Even so, I'm sure about this. If it doesn't work out, then I'll take responsibility," she mumbled quietly to herself, not intending to let anyone hear. She watched as he stitched himself up, something she could never do because of how painful it looked.

Luka just shook his head slightly at Cora 'Ever the hellion....' he walked through the darkness in a straight line, whenever he felt a presence before him he would either dodge or jump over it. Once the braziers lit up the Gauntlet before him he eyed the obstacle course intently, but soon found he couldnt see anything beyond the electric ladder and fire grate. Glancing to Cora he shrugs "Some have potential, some wont make it past this....Honestly I dont care, I'll take on anything or anyone they throw at me....And win." Though his words might sound arrogant, his tone was completely calm and passive.

He watched with mild curiosity as the first pair attempted Hades Gauntlet, they made it through the first part pretty smoothly before disappearing behind the flames. As a couple more pairs went through he decided to take a seat beside the wall, sitting Indian style with his sheathed katana laying across his lap. He didnt move until his name was called. Grabbing his katana his straps it back onto his waist before moving to the front at a normal pace. His partner-Neil was already there 'Great....I get the annoying blabber mouth...' he complained mentally as he approached him. Before Luka could say a word though Neil started another justice rant before taking on the ladder, the muscle head let the electricity hit him until he got to the top.

Luka watched until he got off the ladder before making his move. He waited till the electricity ran through before swiftly climbing the ladder, he wasnt the fastest, but he wasnt slow either. He was 5 rungs from the top when the electricity started to roll down once more 'Jump or push through...' he debated for a moment but decided it was riskier to jump in case there was some kind of trap above that would make him slip or fall. So he let the electricity hit him, it made his dirty blonde hair stand on end and singed some of arm hair, but other than a few twitches it didnt seem to effect him at all, not even a grimace, as he made his way to the top beside Neil.

Looking at the fire then to the Justice dude with an arched brow. "And here I thought Justice conquered everything?" He commented with heavy sarcasm before sprinting through the flames. It set small fires on the loose parts of his robe along with a few minor burns to his exposed arms, but he just stamped out the fire before continuing. The next obstacle seemed to be a shifting catwalk 'Hmm....Too easy...' Jumping up he flips himself upside down before grabbing hold of both raillings with each hand, basically doing a hand stand as he proceeds to use his hands to walk across the catwalk via the railings. Once to the otherside he does another front flip landing on the platform.

Not even bothering to look back at the numbskull, he examines the tightrope, his enhanced vision letting him learn the patterns and timing of the weapons swinging to and fro with ease

Neil looked at Luka as he began to speak and chuckled at his comment as he ran through the fire. He watched the man run through the fire on purpose which made Neil scratch his head. "You doubt my sense of Justice? Then I shall prove it to you by making us the team with the fastest time possible!" Neil Proclaimed as he did exactly what Luka did and sprint right through the flames not caring about the burns he was getting, once through he saw Luka on the other side. Yet Neil kept on running with all his power as he pounded his chest putting his foot on the edge of the gap and pushed off with force enough to propel him nearly 3/4 of the way theirs. He made the last bit only having to jump once to avoid falling. Now caught up to Luka, Neil also stared at the tightrope before grabbing his metal rod in his hand and lifting up his eye patch that showed an odd design for most but for Neil is was like a lock on for anything hostile. Of course his eye instantly had over fifty instantly behind him which made him tune out any hostile people and focused on the weapons.

Neil then held up his finger to his mouth to ask Luka to keep the eye a secret. It was really cheating, more so he didn't want a mob of people knowing a secret weapon he had. Neil then proceed to cross the tightrope with his rod in his hand and walked with ease, Neil kept his eyes on his feet which would make most question him, but when an axe came his way Neil didn't even look he swung his rod bouncing it away, he did this to several of the weapons before reaching the end, which made him grin as he covered his eye with his eye patch again. Neil then looked at the wall that stood before him. Gripping the rod, he thanked the gods his had a chain attached to it. It was more so for wrapping around any injustice, yet if he threw his rod hard enough to pierce the wall maybe he could climb up it with his chain. Considering he couldn't see any handholds to grab.

Other than the slight sting from the needle touching his flesh making him wince a bit, it didn't hurt much, though to those watching it could look painful.'Hm, you shouldn't mumble and don't worry about it. If I fail, then I can simply try again next year.'He shrugged using his teeth to snap off the excess thread and needle once he had finished and dressed the wound with it bandaged and cleaned with disinfectant. Not minding if he failed; even if it meant having to wait another whole year before trying again and a year lost of being able to do what he set out to do, but as long as he did his very best then whatever happened, he would accept it.

Rolling his eyes with a sigh, Luka waits for Neil to make it to the otherside before making his move. Moving toward the edge, he looks down at the menacing spikes below, his expression blank. He stands there for a moment before sliding his katana from its sheath and jumping down. But before he made it 2 feet down Luka plants his feet on the wall behind him before suddenly pushing off with surprising strength. Clearing the gap he flips his katana so hes hold it with the blade down, right as his hand connects with the opposite wall, he stabs his katana into the metal a good 6 inches. Using his katana as a ledge, he lifts himself up onto it before jumping up onto the platform behind Neil.

Rolling his shoulders he leans down, grabbing the hilt of his katana and pulling it back out before sheathing it once more. Walking up beside Neil, he glances to the eyepatch man before examining the wall. After only a few seconds he spots the hidden handholds on the sides. "Well, I'm not sure what your planning, but I'm gonna take this route." He states calmly as he walks over to the side of the wall. Jumping up at least 12 feet before grabbing the handholds, Luka started climbing the side swiftly, no traps sprung out at him. Within 30 seconds he was to the top

Neil, yellow
As Luka came up to him, he said something then quickly scaled the wall which made Neil grin and nod his head. "That is one way to do things, now for me to show you mine." Neil said as he took a few steps back, wrapping some of the chain around his left hand with the rod in his right. Neil took off sprinting then leapt at least ten feet into the air in which he chucked the rod with his power straight at the wall which did pierce it but didn't go very far. However that was all he needed, in which he yanked himself up planting his feet on the rod and jumping off again. He yanked with his left arm and pulled his rod up to himself, in which he grabbed it with his right hand before plunging it into the wall again, and bouncing off it to make it to the top. As he stood there he tapped his cheek to see he got a cut, which made him look down to see a metal spike which made him stomp his foot and laugh. "Not even metal can silence justice!" Neil shouted as he extended his right fist out towards Luka.

Hearing a voice beside him, Tsuji turned to see who it was. His rival and childhood friend, Shade Zoldyck. It had been a few years since he has seen her family. He could tell Shade was trying to provoke him. The white haired boy wouldn't let her get to him that easily. He raised an eyebrow and replied,

"Tell me, Kuro...what defines an airhead? Is it someone who has ridiculous ideas in their head? Or someone who is carefree?" Tsuji stated in a smooth and collected tone. He stepped closer as he stared into Shade's eyes. The white haired boy wanted to see what she would do. If she wanted to play a game, two can play that way.

Sora sat on the ground once making it to the first test. He wasn't too worried about it, unlike some of the others, after all this was only the first test. Only the weakest of the group would be weeded out and he already assumed he wasn't one of them. After all he tested himself against someone whom he assumed to be one of the stronger people here... though that guy could have just been all show and nothing more... perhaps later on he would have to find someone else to test himself against.

The examiner started to talk again, listing out boring things such as rules, how to fail, who was up first. Honestly he wished the examiner at least made it interesting... then again every game has its own set a rules. The girl that ran up next to him while they were walking threw the dark tunnel was one of the lucky ones that got to break in the course. He half envied her, but at the same time she seemed friendly and very likeable, so of course he was rooting for her. "Go Syrenei!" He called out as she started to walk up, however he wasn't sure if she heard him or not...

It was a while later before he, himself, was called. His excitement had worn off and he was laying on the side watching the ladder glow and the fire shoot up but as soon as he heard his name the smile appeared on his face and he jumped to his feet with a loud "Yes!" He was ready to start! Running up to the Ladder he stopped and turned around to see who was going to go with him. It was a small kid but that didn't discourage Sora at all. "Hay, wanna race?" The excitement was clear in his voice. He was ready to go, and if Koa agreed to race then that would prove he had a skilled partner who wasn't worried about the course either.

Hearing his name called after a short wait, Koa gives Enju a wink and thumbs up before slipping through the throngs of people until he got to the front. He approached the ladder slowly, examining the electricity going up and down, before his partner-Sora spoke up. Looking up at the older boy, he grins, putting his hands behind his head, his arms splayed out.

"Sure! Last one buys dinner!" His voice is excited, not showing the least bit of fear for the Gauntlet before him. Without waiting for Sora to respond, Koa crouches down for a moment before suddenly jumping high into the air, higher than the average kid could jump. Once he starts losing altitude he grabs the 10th rung up before climbing up at surprisingly fast pace, he was still 5 rungs from the top when the electricity started to roll down. Just before it would hit him, he pushes off a rung with his right foot. Clearing the last 5 rungs before doing a front flip and landing on the platform above.

Koa could feel adrenaline pumping through his veins as his excitement amped up. Glancing down to see how Sora was doing before rushing forward, right as he was about to clear the fire grate, the flames spit out at him. His crimson eyes go wide for a second as the flames rush toward him before he launches himself forward with a powerful kick off. Twisting his body in midair to avoid the flames, the lower part of his pants catches on fire just as he lands on his back. Now on the shifting catwalk, he quickly pats his pants to put out the small fire, his leg slightly burned but nothing major.

"Whew!" Wiping a few beads of sweat from his forehead, Koa didnt have more than a few seconds to rest before plates started to slide out from underneath him. Quickly jumping to his feet he turns to the catwalk, seeing the plates shifting at random. 'Here goes...' Just before the plate dropped from beneath his foot, he propels forward with another powerful kick off. Clearing 5 plates easily, he hops from plate to plate using his speed to his advantage. As the 2 plates he had been aiming for suddenly slide out from in front of him, he dives forward, going into a roll as he hits the ground, stopping on the next platform.

Sora couldn't hold back his excitement now. This kid had already shown plenty of promising signs. Not only did he seem confident with his abilities but he also took it a step further and placed a bet! "Mmm... dinner. Very well!" Sora's hand came flying up and he gave Koa a thumbs up when he looked back down. Sora could have started right away but he wanted to give the kid a chance... after all he was a nen user.

As soon as Koa started to make his way across the platform he ran up the ladder, literally, not even minding the slight shocks he was given. Honestly he was surprised it even shocked him considering the sols of his shoes were made of rubber. If he actually touched the metal bar he might have been fried...

Getting to the top he ran through the fire without a second thought and jumped over Koa. "You got burned because your slow! Don't give the fire enough time to heat you up." He shouted out gleefully before dashing across the plates. He aimed for the plates that just came up, thinking they would be his best bet for getting across this safely. He didn't bother slowing down to see if there was a pattern, after all this was a race.

At any rate his theory was proven wrong, as one of the plates that had just come up fell just as he was about to land on it. His hand grabbed onto the plat in front of him and he through himself forward just in time for that plate to collapse as well. He decided he wouldn't take anymore chances and as soon as his feet made contact with something solid he launched himself forward clearing his way to the other side.

"Oh cool!" He shouted as he saw what was next. "I've always wanted to try tightrope walking!" He said with a rather stupid grin on his face before running forward. He wobbled quite a lot on the rope as he continued to run however he made use of it. Just like a drunken fighter, each wobble caused him to dodge a weapon, and each time he straightened himself back out he only started to run faster. To anyone else he might have looked quite clumsy, but even more so lucky.

Specialist, green
Straightening up from his crouch he scowls at Sora as he taunts him, dusting himself off. That was until he saw Sora fly through, almost litterly, the next obstacle. His eyes widen in amazement a grin coming to his lips as he suddenly thrusts his fist into his open hand. "I wont let you have all the fun!" He calls out to Sora before running forward.

But instead of walking on the rope or using the weapons, he walks off the edge plummeting toward the menacing spikes below it seemed until he grabs the rope stopping his fall. Still grinning he quickly uses the rope almost like Monkey Bars, making it across the cap with ease. Once he reaches the otherside, he grabs the edge of the platform hoisting himself up at the same time Sora reaches the same platform.

"Catch ya later!" He didnt give Sora any time to respond as he instantly dashes ahead toward the giant wall. His speed mixed in with his above average jumping ability lets him get a good 10ft into the air before making contact with the wall, he originally planned to run up it until he started to fall then use his Yo-Yo's as grips. That was until he stepped on some sort of trap that sent a dozen needles out of the wall and speeding toward him. To avoid being a pin cushion he pushes off the wall doing a back flip to dodge the needles, one embeds itself in his right arm but the rest miss.

With no choice Koa flips back down to the ground, landing where he started in a semi-crouch. "Should of known it wouldnt be that easy." He grumbles though his crimson eyes show any excited light in them.

Sora didn't expect Koa to catch up so quickly, but when he did Sora's grin only grew. He decided even if he won he would buy Koa dinner, it was the least he could do for the entertainment Koa provided him. Instead of scaling the wall right away, like he normally would have, he watched as Koa launched himself into the air only to be shot back down by a dozen needles. He laughed as he excitement grew, "Is this great or what?!" He shouted, probubly loud enough for everyone, finished and no, to hear. It just kept getting better and better, he couldn't wait to find out what the next obstacle was. After grabbing Koa's arm and pulling out the needle he started to power himself using his enhancer ability. "You win Koa, I'll buy you dinner. Now watch this."

He threw Koa on his back, whether he wanted the help or not, and started to run up the wall. Needles, knifes, and spears bounced off him and he didn't seem to be slowing at all, however just as he was about over the wall he felt something pierce him. A large javelin was lodged in his stomach and he instantly lost his momentum. Luckily he was able to reach out and grab the top of the course but he still had to scold himself. The only way for that javelin to pierce him was if it was enhanced with nen... he should have checked the course for nen. After coughed and a trickle of blood ran down the side of his lip after he pulled the javelin out and let it drop to the ground.

"Hay, climb up, I'll pull myself up afterwards." He said looking back at Koa with a smile and a thumbs up. "It takes more than a little scrape like this to stop me but dang your heavier than you look." Just because he was careless and messed up didn't mean he was done showing off. "What's the next step look like?" He questioned as Koa started to climb up. Not that it really matter, he was about to see for himself anyways. After Koa had climbed up he pulled himself up and rolled over, before enhancing his healing ability. Slowly the gap in his stomach started to close up, of course he didn't let anyone see it, his hand covered his wound. Those who didn't know about nen would think he was some kind of monster if they saw his wound closing itself... though now that he thought about it that might be kinda fun...

Specialist, green
Looking up Koa suddenly grins, nodding to Sora's words. But his grin fades the moment Sora announces he won the race. "Ehh? But we haven't finis-Waah!" Before he could finish his argument the older boy suddenly picked him up like he was nothing and swung Koa onto his back. His eyes wide he instinctively grabs jold of Sora's shoulders as he starts running up the wall at breakneck speed. "Ahh what are you doing! Your gon-" his words were cut off once again as the various weapon traps seem to just bounce off of Sora like he was made of steel.

All Koa could do was watch in amazement 'So cool!' That was until a large javelin managed to pierce through the taller boys stomach. Flinching in sympathetic pain he holds on tightwr thinking they were gonna fall back to the ground, but Sora surprised him once again when he grabbed hold of the top edge of the wall.

Not wanting to be a burden on him any longer, Koa quickly scrambles up and off of Sora. He goes to help him but Sora has already climbed up.
"W-H-How did you do that?? You just took a javelin to the gut but your not even flinching!" His tone is a mixture of amazed and confused. Shaking his head he glances behind him only to see open air. Frowning he moves over to the opposite edge, seeing a large spiral staircase leading to the bottom. "Theres noth-" "Your time is 1.82. You pass! Proceed down the stairs and to the waiting area." Roy suddenly calls up to them before pointing to a set of double doors at the bottom.

Koa folds his arms suddenly getting an annoyed look
"I keep getting interrupted..." He grumbles to himself before looking back to Sora. "But we crossed at the same time hmmm....We'll both buy eachother dinner!" He declares with a grin.

"We passed already, that was hardly any fun..." He groaned as he through his hand to the side revealing his wound. It wasn't perfectly healed but it sure didn't look like he was hit by a javelin. He sat up and looked back down at the course. "Think they will let me take it again? This time I'll dodge the javelin! Yeah!" He jumped to his feet and shot his fist in the air before reading himself to jump down but it turned out he hadn't healed himself nearly as much as he thought. He cringed a little before turning around and looking down at the other side, "Nah, they would probubly disqualify me... Guess we have a dinner date though huh?"

Instead of climbing down the other side of the wall like most people would he decided it would be more fun to jump... and so he did, but once again he over did it. Not that it mattered, he just had to ignore it for now. "Oh yeah! To answer your question, I cheated, that's how." and that's all the information Koa would get out of Sora. Life was more fun with mysteries and as far as he was concerned 'fun' was the only thing that really mattered. After all, whats the point in living if you aren't having fun or looking forward and seeing something fun just within your grasp? If you can't even do that much then your probubly living a fairly miserable life and clearly somethings wrong. That's why one of his life missions was to teach the miserable, over serious people, how to loosen up a bit.

Glancing back at Neil as he made his unnecessary ascent up the wall instead of taking the same path as Luka. Sighing heavily he pinches the bridge of his nose, trying to ignore the annoying justice freak as he stands on top the wall. Roy calls out to them "Your time is 1.04. You pass! Proceed down the stairs and to the waiting room." Looking down Luka sees spiral stairs on the otherside of the wall. 'A minute four huh? Could of been faster....' Shrugging he makes his way down the stairs, not bothering to rush, it was gonna be a bit before the next Stage anyway. Once on the ground he walks into the waiting room, seeing a few pairs that passed earlier, he only really notices the first pair to take on the Gauntlet. A weirdly dressed guy in a baseball cap and a small girl with a katana, they piqued his interest, slightly.

Enju watched as Koa headed up to the front after his name was called. Once again she was alone but Koa had talked her into taking the test... not that it was all that hard to do after all she didn't have anyone telling her not to take the test. She opened and closed her hand a few times as a way of waving him off. She was too afraid to do anything more than that... after all she didn't want to draw attention to herself. "Good luck Koa." She murmured even though she was pretty sure he couldn't hear her. After all she couldn't even see him through the crowd anymore. But that was ok, all she had to do was pass this to see him again right? He would be waiting for her, she was sure of it.

It wasn't more than a minute or two before her name was called. Her heart started to race as her feet started to move forward. She didn't really want to do this anymore... but she wanted to see Koa again, she couldn't let him down after he continued to help her. She had to repay him somehow and in order to do that she would have to be by his side until the time came. She continued to make her way through the crowed with quiet, excuse mes and sorrys. She broke free from the crowd only to stop to take in her surroundings. Her partner... 'What was her name again? The examiner said... Cora right?... Oh I don't know. I'm such a horrible partner.' It took but a second before she decided to just pretend to not hear the other name that was called. She didn't want to offend her partner.

Once again she started to head up to the front but a firm hand came down on her shoulder stopping her from moving. "It's ok little girl. You don't have to take the exam. In fact I would be happy to take your spot. Go ahead and run home now, I'll pair off with that beaut and take the test." She froze, what was she supposed to do? Koa told her to take the exam. Who was this man? She turned her head and looked up at him, he was large... (and though she didn't know it he was also the man that had attempted but failed to beat up Sora) "S-sorry, but I would like-" "Huh? I don't care what you would like to do, I'm telling you to go home." She froze, a shiver running down her spine, she could feel it. Blood lust, it was so strong... "I-I" She said trying to fight it, but his blood lust was so thick... "want to-" her breathing got heavy, if only she could take a few steps away from him. "take the test."

Cora
girls_of_the_wild_render_4___queen_by_viole1369-d7hcbe5.png
Cora had watched as her brother climb up the ladder and diving in the obstacle course, losing sight of him immediatly after. She waited the entire time, her arms crossed and her eyes fixated on the ladder and the other contestants. She studied them on how they climbed the ladder. She patiently waited until her name was called, calmly making her way through the crowd and to the front. She turned to see who this Enju was, wondering who her partner was. She didn't really care who it was, as long as the peerson was strong. That's when she saw her, a small and young girl had walked up. She mentally sighed Oh great, just my luck. I gotta worry about me and a kid.

Cora watched as the young girl was being bullied by a larger man, giving off a killing intent. She smirked, not phased by the man. To her, he was just as big as a puppy. She walked over, pulling out her right hand from her glove and walking up to them "Listen, she wants to take the test so" She placed her hand on a certain part of his neck and tightly squeezed, the large man showing obvious pain. That's when Cora showed her killing intent, it dwarfing the man who was intimidating the young girl "Now back off before I snap your arm off" "Gah, alrigh alright. J-just let go already dammit!" Cora released her grip, the large man slightly stumbling forward. He grabbed the part which Cora had squeezed on "C-crazy bit-" Before he could finish, Cora's fist was infront of the man. Her eyes showed off a killing intent which made the man fall on his ass. "Another word and I'll make sure it's the last words you speak, got it?" The man slowly nodded before getting up and running to the back of the group to hide his embarrassment.

Cora turned to Enju, her eyes calm and collected "C'mon. You'll need more courage than that to finish the exams" She turned around and began to walk to the front "But that was a good start" She said as she continued to the front.

Enju

Enju hadn't noticed Cora coming up to help her so when a hand wrapped around a portion of the mans neck her eyes widened. She wasn't exactly sure what was going on until she turned her head to face forward. It was only then that she realized her partner came over to help her. She felt so hopeless, already two people had to step in to help her, she really couldn't do anything without her friends... this was all too stressful. Perhaps instead of hindering everyone around her she should have just gone home while she had the chance. Though now that wasn't an option, she wanted to pay Koa back... and now she felt like she had to pay... her partner back. It seemed her list would just keep growing.

The mans grip left her shoulder and she started to move away from him but froze after feeling a new blood lust. She had thought the previous one was bad... but this. Slowly she shrank like a withering flower until she was on her knees with her arms wrapped around her torso. The one thing she hated, that one feeling, it was so dreadful and she couldn't understand how anyone could produce such an evil aura.

But just as suddenly as it started it vanished and she felt a wave of relief wash over her. Her eyes wondered up towards Cora as she started to regain control over her breathing. "S-sorry." Was the only thing she could manage to say as she once again got to her feet however as she started to follow Cora anyone could see she was visibly shaken. She feared blood lust, when people succumb to it they start to change and it was never for the better.

As they approached the ladder she took a deep breath and got a hold of herself. "Sorry for bothering you." She mumbled looking down, "I'm sorry, I didn't here your name. I'm Enju." As she spoke she started to pay attention to her surroundings again, using her Geniuses Sensory, and though at first she didn't notice it, she realized the course was a living being (she doesn't know about nen which is why its a geniuses skill). "The course-" She started but stopped. Cora would only think ill of her for saying something like that...
Cora
Cora firmly walked forward, without taking a single moment to look at the ones around her. She listened to Enju introduce herself, but did not turn back once. "The name is Cora. Also, if you wish you be a hunter. I have one word of advice to you, get used to bloodlust. This won't be the first time you encounter it" Cora looked at first part of the test, the current running through the metal ladders. Unfortunately, she wasn't immune to pain like her brother and she also had metal plates in her gloves which would be useless. She took off the gloves, tying the strings around her waist.

"If you feel bad for bothering, then make up for it by helping me with this test. The best chance we have to make it through this is by helping each other" Cora turned her head to face Enju, a slight but warm smile on her face. She heard Enju say something bout the course, but none of it mattered to her at the moment. She turned around and got on a knee, while holding out her hands to give Enju a boost up "Save it til we pass the course"

Enju
c9c5bc644a6cc9bab7fdcf2a13c4bfc41406066755_full.png
Enju nodded her head when Cora told her she should get used to blood lust... if that was possible she would try but at this point she wasn't too sure. "Sorry." Her voice was hushed and barley audible. She really felt like she would hold Cora back, but perhaps the fact that she could also see the entire course before even entering it would make up for that. She noticed Cora kneel down with her hands out and she realized what she was trying to do. Enju blinked forward and let Cora help launch her straight to the top. She landed gracefully at the edge before looking down at Cora. Despite being a kid she realized telling Cora any information about the course before they at least cleared the fire was a bad idea, after all she wasn't partnered with anyone else... and she didn't consider anyone left behind a friend... so she didn't want to leak any information.

She watched as Cora started to make her move before deciding that standing at the edge of the ladder was a bad idea. After all if Cora decided to jump from the ladder to the platform she might be in the way. She blinked to the falling pads and started to jump between four different pads. It wasn't hard to tell which one was going to fall, each one would gain a stronger life force just before they fell or came back up... if that was the right way to describe it. She didn't have to wait long before Cora came up, "After these plates there is a tight rope with swinging weapons and a wall with small hand holds." She started to blink across the plat forms. Every time she stopped she would look behind her to make sure Cora was doing alright.
Cora
Cora watched as Enju flew up into the air to make sure that the young girl had made it. She waited until the next current of electricity passed by, following up by jumping up and quickly climbing up the ladder. She didn't have the same strength or pain immunity as her brother, but she had practice with various obstacles in the past. She climbed up the ladder with ease, now on the top to see a tower of flames in front of her.

Without hesitating, she jumped over the flames with the top slightly burning her and her clothes. She bit her lip to take her mind off the pain and hid it, while landing a short distance away from Enju. She walked up to her. She was confused by what she said. Since the beginning, it was as if this girl already knew this obstacle. She nodded at what Enju had said and ran towards the platforms. However, before reaching them she jumped on the side railings and balanced herself, before walking forward and making it to the other side. She turned to see how Enju would do against this obstacle.

Enju was a little surprised to see Cora running passed her but that wasn't really much of a problem. She was just happy Cora wasn't having any trouble with the course... because... well Cora was a nice person... well she wasn't one hundred percent sure Cora was a nice person but she had a feeling she was... not that that made sense. But Cora wasn't mean and she did owe Cora a favor so she supposed that made Cora a nice person... maybe.

Enju didn't seem to have any worries as she hoped from plate to plate. It even seemed like the course was working with her, every time she jumped at a plate that was already down it would pop back up again. She finished a second or so after Cora, mainly because she was having fun jumping around on the plates. Unlike some who might be deadly serious on this course she had a small smile on her face and seemed to be enjoying herself. "Ok, so be careful. All the weapons on the rope aren't in sync and I think there are traps set but I'm not sure how they work... they might not be but... sorry I'm not sure." At first she was excited but once she started to become unsure of what she was trying to say she started to speak slower and quieter. "Sorry." She hung her head wishing she could have told Cora more than the obvious. If she knew what the traps did she would have been much happier but she could only tell various weapons were sitting in holes in the walls. Did they just jut out if you got near? What triggered them? Would they shoot out at random? Why weren't any shooting out now? She bit her lip a little, "Most of them are knifes, I think they'll shoot out but I don't know when they will..." She looked up at Cora a little ashamed of herself.

"Oh! I'll go first. That way you'll know where the traps are and be able to avoid them!" She could repay her like this! With a nod she blinked forward and started to make her way toward the other end of the rope. She didn't look around at all, like most would while trying to run and dodge. She could see each weapon hurling towards her without her eyes so it wasn't hard to dodge anything that came her way. She even got to show off a little and duck a knife coming from behind her without looking. She hoped Cora was impressed... she wanted to impress her friend... or ally? Partner?... hmm...
Cora
Cora listened to Enju speak, taking everything she said into account. What she had said first was obvious to see, you could tell they weren't in sync. But what surprised her the most was the fact that she knew there were traps hiding. Perhaps Enju's true skills didn't lie in her physical abilities. Before she could say something, Enju volunteered herself to go. Cora nodded "Good luck" She watched in surprise as the young girl swiftly maneuvered around the weapons and even dodging the hidden traps. No, it's not time for me to get serious

Cora walked on the line but instead of running forward, she dropped drown and grabbed onto the rope with her hands. Climbing across the rope like monkey bars, Cora managed to evade both the weapons and the traps. She pulled herself up to spring upwards and land on the platform, letting out a sigh of relief.. She looked up to see the tall wall and turned to Enju "Any more advice?"

"Advise..." She mumbled to herself as she let every nook and crany of the wall sink into her. After a little though and biting of her lip she nodded her head. "There are small parts that won't set off traps... I think." She tapped part of the living wall and it sprung a couple traps, which she managed to evade, then touched the dead wall and nothing happened, "I think its the dead wall that's safe." She thought for a moment, "Um... The spots are there, there, there, there... Err... The more I point up the harder it is for you to figure out where I'm pointing huh?" Once again her confidence faded as did her voice.

"Um..." She looked around for a stick or the like that would help her point out the spots but there wasn't anything long enough. She lowered her head feeling a little ashamed of herself for taking so long to come up with something. How much time did they have left?! Now she was starting to panic, breaking under pressure. "I, we..." She looked around once again still panicking. If she didn't pass she would lose Koa. "Umm... Umm..." Taking a deep breath she turns to Cora, "Can you carry me up the wall on your back? I'll point out the spots on the wall..." She mumbles feeling a little embarrassed about her solution but it seemed like a good idea...
Cora
Cora listened to Enju further explain the hidden traps of the tall wall. She went on to even point at the spots where the traps were at. However, at there height it just seemed like Enju was pointing at the wall in general. They would need a somewhat bird's eyes view or a similar perspective at the least. That's when Enju suggested for her to give Enju a piggyback ride. She raised an eyebrow. As silly as it sounded, it actually made sense. That way, Cora wouldn't have to worry about Enju s much. She smiled and nodded "That's a good idea" She knelt over so Enju could latch onto her back. Once on, she stood up "Okay point out the first dead spot" Cora placed her foot in a spear which shot out and kicked it up to her hands.

Cora ran forward, throwing the spear into the wall where Enju said it was safe. She kicked up another spear and grabbed it tightly "Hold on" She kicked off the ground and up onto the first spear, waiting for the Enju to point out the second spot. She immediately jumped towards it, stabbing the spear into the wall and grabbing it with both hands "Whatever you do, don't let go" Cora began to sway forward and backwards, moving her body with the motion to increase the momentum. It wasn't before long before the two actual made a full spin around the spear, but their speed continued to increase. The spear began to loosen, Cora gritting her teeth Its not enough...but it'll have to do Cora let got at the right moment, throwing herself and Enju high up into the air and at the very top of the wall. Cora grabbed on with her hand, barely hanging on as her grip loosened "Quickly get up Enju!"

Enju watched as Cora turned around lowered herself so she could climb onto her back. After a second of hesitation she walked forward and climbed up, wrapping her arms around Cora's upper body and hugging her sides with her legs. "Ok. I'm on." She mumbled as she placed her head on Cora's shoulder trying to get a better look at the wall. She had already been looking for the first dead spot on the wall when Cora asked her to point it out. "R-right. The first one is there." She said pointing directly in front of her. Then she noticed Cora picking up a spear and realized what she was planning on doing... sort of. "There's another one a little higher up." She said pointing to the fourth dead spot on the wall.

There wasn't a split second between the last word leaving her mouth and Cora charging forward with the spear in hand. She almost fell off, not expecting such a sudden movement, but managed to bring her free hand down to hold onto Cora before closing her eyes. They were going so fast... and the landing was really rough... at least it felt that way to her...

When Cora asked where the next spot was she didn't even have to open her eyes, she simply pointed up the wall a little ways "Right there." She mumbled before feeling Cora jump once more. She whimpered a little feeling Cora rocking back and forth. She didn't need to be told twice, her arms wrapped tighter around Cora as she waited for the inevitable. Before long they were spinning around on the spear at an increasing speed which left Enju feeling rather dizzy before Cora finally let go of the poll and sent them flying upwards. Enju couldn't help but let out a small squeal before they finally stopped on the side of the wall.

When Cora first told her to climb up she couldn't, her arms wouldn't listen to her. She bit her lip and continued trying until finally her shaky hand reached up and grabbed onto the wall. With a grunt she pulled herself up and flipped over onto her back. Everything was spinning, she felt so dizzy... but she wasn't done yet. Sitting up and reached over to offer a hand to Cora. Honestly Enju wasn't all that strong, but she could at least support Cora's weight... hopefully.
Cora
Cora let out a sigh of relief as Enju climbed over her and up onto the platform. But that was the least of her worries. Spinning around that pole had left burn marks on her hand, the pain growing as her grip loosened. But then, Enju grabbed hold of her and attempted to pull her up. It wasn't much, but the sensation of someone grabbing her made her snap out of her daze. She gritted her teeth and pulled herself up to the top, turning to Enju with a soft smile "Thank you, I had almost lost hope"
