How To Train Your Enemy Mine

It gave no reaction to the human handling him in return other than a slight lift of the head and a light grunt. The great reptile gave a bit of space, pointed its body towards the cave, and gave a short huff! directly to the human, remaining in place until it confirmed the human had turned to watch it also. It allowed time to see if the hiker would follow, stomping footprints and broadening the trail the camper had already cleared in the snow, back the way they came.

Nickolas moved his hand back seeing that the creature stoped tousching his face, he sighed in relife. Not that he mind it, but he was kind of affraid from those gigantic tallons that looked so so sharp that can cut you into little pieces, well look what the creature had done with the trees, he had cut them with his tallons and imagine what he might do to Nickolas. But he was sure that the creature won't hurt him... Seeing as the creatured pointed to the cave with his body and huffed, Nickolas nodded and follwoed the reptail... But he was getting hungry, he still has a few sandwiches left "Are you hungry" He asked, not really sure if it could understand him, but still tryed.

A puff of air met those words, which could have meant anything at all.
But once they reached the cave interior, the four-armed, muscular reptile began using gestures. It huffed to the human, looking directly at it, and when the human was definitely watching, it crouched and held its arms to the ashen fire, mimicking all the motions of warming hands that the hiker had done the day before. Then it approached the hiker, paused before it and gave a dipping motion with its torso and a gentle huff before picking the man up carefully by the waist. It brought the human back outside, raised its rear arms overhead and forwards where the human could see. Turned to the sun, which was no more than a bright spot in the wintery sky, and mimed warming its hands towards that orb. Then it set the man down with some care, huffed looking towards him, and raised all four of its hands to that sun, warming, while still looking to the man.

Nickolas followed inside the cave. Amd once they were inside he watched as the creature placed his hands on top of where the fire was the last night, now there was no fire just ash, but he looked carefully as what the creature was doing. Did he wanted to lighten up the fire again? Probably, Nickolas got to thinking. "Hey hey easy" He siad nervously when the creature picked him up by the waist and carryed him otside. With his hands placed on the creatures's chest when he was carryed outside, what was the creature trying to do... He looked up at the sky and saw how the creature was prettending that he was trying to warm his hands from the sun. Ok Nickolas was sure now that the creature wanted to lighten the fire again... Once they were inside Nickolas went to his backpack and took out a lighter from it, well thats how he lightened those sticks. Walking closer he saw that their are a few branches left not much but still enough. Grabbing them all he place dhim on top of the ashes and grabbed one branch and made it on fire with the lighter, placing it on top of the other branches he waited for the fire to get bigger "Is that what you wnat?" He asked not sure.

Vanguard let loose a cry harsher than its other soft huffs, interrupting the camper from putting effort into a new fire by laying a taloned hand gently upon his. Nosing through the cloth pile it had used for human bedding, it picked up the empty canvas backpack. Eyeing it a moment, it brought the equipment up to its own chest, weaving its two front arms through the reinforced straps that looked so thin and dainty compared to its own tough scaly body. {Take your things!} With an intent huff! it picked up one leg after another, building up a running rhythm while remaining in place. A bend forward and swaying tail completed the image of running. {Depart! Cross much distance!} Then it settled to a normal stance, and the front two arms hugged itself and rubbed up and down as the human had once warmed itself. {Somewhere you warm yourself by sun, not by fire.} Watched Nikkolas all the while. Huff as if speaking directly to him.
