Our reality is a multiverse where a near-infinite number of universes reside; never touching, but always together, side-by side. For the vast majority, the knowledge of other worlds beyond their own is nothing more than fantasy, at least until one woman came into their lives.

Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, had been traveling the multiverse using her unique powers. Following a tragedy, she had sought to find solace somewhere within reality. She traveled for many days until she finally stopped... and disappeared. To those close to her, Wanda has been missing for months, but now some sign of her has surfaced.

Arriving magically and without warning were invitations, sent out to many of the people Wanda had met throughout her travels in the multiverse. Not all were friends of Wanda, but the invitation asked for them all to join her at a grand party and provided magical transportation if they desired to attend. Some would come for friendship, others because they were worried, some out of a respect, and maybe a few wanting to settle something with the witch.

So she said, "I want you all to meet my family."

In this RP, you will be playing a fandom character (or OC!) invited to a mysterious gathering. It is up to your own personal discretion why they may be motivated to heed Wanda's invitation and attend. They do not have to be friends with Wanda. Their encounter with her is up to you and you can say it was an unpleasant experience.

If you're not familiar with Wanda as a character, it's not a huge deal. Any erratic behavior can be explained away on her recent trauma. Just keep in mind she is a powerful reality-bending witch.

Also keep in mind this RP will involve character death, but any characters who do die will still be able to play as part of the story.

All characters with powers or special weapons will lose these at some point in the RP as part of the story, just to let you know ahead of time.

2) Please be respectful towards everyone, including me and my helpers / co-GMs, @Verite and @Josh M

3) If you're a newcomer, welcome! Though the Murder Series is a mass fandom roleplay with its own original lore that's been built up and up for a while, don't let all that intimidate you. Previous knowledge of the Murder Series or any of the past events isn't required. That being said, as a fairly tight-knit community, we suggest and encourage you to join our Murder Group to keep up with updates and meet the community. Also, see our Discord server.

4) No OOC talk in the IC, please. Take it to the group or Discord.

5) This should be a given, but no godmodding / metagaming. If you don't have a clear idea on what those are, see this post here.

6) Players of all posting levels are welcome here. That being said, please at least put something whenever you make a post. We'd like no IC posts with nothing but image spam. Any posts like this will be deleted as spam. Speaking of image spam, please only post a maximum of three images / GIFs per post in order to not flood the page with images that make it harder to load. Generally, less is more!

7) Due to the intended speed of the game, it is a very good idea to seek out other users to be your "posting partners" so that you have some people you can stick with. Using the tagging system is absolutely required. It's fine (and encouraged) to only keep up with a few characters / players for the majority of the game, as that is far easier than trying to keep tabs on everyone. Summaries and important GM posts will be made prominent.

8) Please post at least once a chapter. Chapters will generally last from a few days up to a few weeks, so you'll hopefully have plenty of time. Not doing so will result in your character possibly being removed from the game. At the very least, PM me if anything comes up and I'll do my best to keep you around.

9) You may only play one character.

10) Most importantly, have fun! (Within reason)

If "family" meant everything to your character, what would their dream life be?: Probably together with a beautiful woman or man with about three kids. Two girls and a boy.

Short Bio: Phil Connors was doing a special forecast in Punxsutawney, PA for Groundhog Day before he arrived here. After having a horrible first day, he wound up repeating the same day... over and over again. Like a whole lot.

In one of the many looped day, Wanda met Phil and they shared a drink. He tried to sleep with her. She kicked him where the sun don't shine and left him. Unlike others, she did not appear the next day. After some amount of time, Phil committed suicide via a shot to the head. When he woke up, he saw a letter to the party and took it. Anything to escape this goddamn loop. He is still hurt he was rejected- but he is mostly taking this as an opportunity to escape his loop.

Other Info: He's Bi-sexual. For context in the musical, this is right about where Hope would be ( like after he shot himself in the head to commit suicide). He also can speak French.

If "family" meant everything to your character, what would their dream life be?: Noembelu would be Little Eagle again, free of any lingering trauma M. Bison and Shadaloo left. She would be back in the Thunderfoot tribe, which would be prospering, and she would still be close to Cammy and her fellow Dolls, the deceased Marz and the estranged Decapre. However, the two peolle she'd be closest to would be her old friends T. Hawk and Julia (aka Juli).

Short Bio: Noembelu

Noembelu was involved in Murder XVI: The Time Crisis. After the events of that game, she returned to her world and decided to do some self-reflection, staying with Edmond Honda for a few days as he had let some of the Dolls stay with him as they reintegrated into society. She happened to meet Wanda a few times as she visited her good friend Honda once during Noembelu's stay.

Other Info:

Noembelu wears this instead of her Doll uniform. The only difference is that instead of the hat she wears her headband, and carries her tomahawks in the leather holsters and not guns.​

Here's the stuff!
She met Wanda during the events of Monokuma's Awakening. She and Wanda had lived through quite a number of things while in the madhouse of a world, even though their one-to-one direct interaction was little. She mostly interacted and bonded with the late Genji, a man that Wanda cherishes very much.

Nono, upon recieving the invite, decided to attend the party, seeing that there would be familiar faces there, and most importantly - meet Genji again.

Short Bio
Zenyatta is an omnic robot monk who wanders the world in search of spiritual enlightenment. A former member of the Shambali, Zenyatta disagreed with the group's approach. He believed that the way to repair the problems between humans and omnics was not through dogmatic teaching but through interpersonal connection and engagement. At some point either before or after leaving the monastery, he encountered Genji Shimada, who had left Overwatch and was conflicted with his nature as a cyborg. Though Genji initially rejected Zenyatta's wisdom, the benevolent omnic would not be deterred. In time, Zenyatta became his mentor, and under the monk's tutelage, Genji reconciled his dual existence as both man and machine.

The omnic crossed paths with the Scarlet Witch during the Daughter Incident, where he and his student Genji endured a terrible game of murder in a place called Bright Falls. Wanda was among the victims of the game alongside Zenyatta and Genji, and formed a relationship with Genji during the event. Zenyatta believed the relationship to be healthy for his student, and would remember Wanda as a friend and mutual ally.

Genji did not follow his mentor back to their world, however. He would join Wanda's organization, the Coalition, believing that his strength would be needed in rising tensions. Zenyatta did not question his student's desire to help, and returned to his world alone. A year has passed for Zenyatta, and after accepting the grim reality of his student's absence, he would receive the news of Genji's death during a violent internal conflict within the Coalition.

Months later, he received an invitation from Wanda Maximoff. Still grieving and suffering the loss of his brightest pupil, Zenyatta resolved to meet with Wanda again, and find closure by meeting with Genji's former lover. His dream to end the conflict within himself, if he is to end the conflicts of his 'house'.​

Kyoko Kirigiri

Kyoko first met Wanda during the events of Monokuma's Awakening, and the two quickly allied with each other, Wanda herself being a member of the Coalition, and Kyoko being a long-lost founding member. Later, in the months following the events of Civil War, after becoming the new leader of the Coalition, Kyoko had become exceedingly busy over time, meeting with Wanda less and less frequently, due partly to their strained relationship as of Civil War.

Still, when she received an invitation to Wanda's home, Kyoko's interest was piqued, believing it to be a strange happenstance for Wanda to invite her out so abruptly, and decided to attend, on an unofficial "investigation."

Her parents having married each other out of genuine love, not to form the classic nuclear family. Otherwise, as long as her baby brother and sister are fine, Nancy would be living it grand. Although, deeper pockets are always welcomed.

SHORT BIO
Oldest child of the Wheelers, Nancy grew up as a studious, careful, average middle-class daughter living an average American life in the early 1980s. However, even small towns like Hawkins, Indiana harbors dark secrets. With creatures roaming forests in the dead of night and her best friend disappeared after a party, Nancy has slowly transformed from a complacent part of society to a brave, perhaps stupidly brave, young woman willing to do whatever it takes to protect her friends and family from strange, strange things.

Nancy, unlike most other individuals, has not had contact with Wanda directly. In fact, the only contact the highschool senior has had with the woman is through vivid and surreal dreams corresponding with the strange occurrences happening within Hawkins, Indiana. Knowing her only as the Red Lady, Nancy knows very little of this mystical figure.

Name: "Sir" Percival of the Round Table

Age: Unspecified, presumably on the cusp of adulthood

Canon: Sonic and the Black Knight (with heavy inspiration taken from Arthurian Legend)

If "family" meant everything to your character, what would their dream life be?: Percival would freely travel the kingdom with her widowed mother and her love, Blanchefleur, both.

"Short" Bio: From a young age, Percival was isolated. After her father had been killed, her mother fled with her in hand to live alone in the woods, where she was raised in seclusion until the age of 15, when a band of knights traveled through their neck of the woods. From that day, Percival had big dreams of becoming a knight; dreams her mother attempted to dash, as it was for this reason she chose to raise her away from the land of knights and nobles. Much to her dismay, Percival stole herself away and traveled to King Arthur's court to become a knight.

Along the way, she encountered Scarlet Witch who prophetically told the young Percival of her future success, and simultaneously warned her that a woman cannot become a knight. Scarlet couldn't leave the distraught Percival wallowing in the woods with her starry-eyed dreams crushed, however, and proposed a solution. Percival was eager to accept, and knew immediately what the solution would entail. What Percival didn't know was how drastic the changes would be, and how quickly they would come. Her shoulders broadened, her features grew more rigid, and as she raised her voice in shock, she found her tone, too, had inexplicably become more masculine. Once soft-spoken and curious, now commanding and assured. Concerned only with her goal of becoming a knight, Percival was thrilled. She thanked Scarlet dearly, promised to one day return the kindness, and continued on a changed woman.

The knights of King Arthur's court were wary of Percival's ability at first, but after she slew a rogue knight who had been pestering King Arthur, Percival was knighted, and awarded the rogue knight's armour, as well as a spot at King Arthur's Round Table. Now she hones her skill with the sword under her tutor, Gornemant, and fosters an ever growing passion for her tutor's daughter, Blanchefleur.

Also does she begin to inexplicably combust, while receiving no harm from the flames she supposedly creates. With no worldly explanation, she believes it to be a blossoming magical talent, which on her own she attempts to bring about at will and control.

Other Info: As this Percival isn't truly the Percival from Arthurian Legend, but a splicing of Percival and Blaze the Cat, yes, I will be taking some creative liberties in merging both aspects of the character. Most importantly, this Percival is hiding her true identity as a woman, just in case you missed it in her bio.​

Short Bio
The majority of Toffee's backstory is unknown. All that is known about him is that he was a general that went rogue in the Mewman/Monster war and killed the then Queen of Mewni. This left her daughter, Moon, to take up the mantle of queen at a very young age. Desperate and distraught, Moon desperately searched for a way to defeat Toffee once and for all. So she made a deal with Eclipsa: the Queen of Darkness now incased in crystal by Rhombulus.

Eclipsa taught Moon what is only known as the Darkest Spell to defeat Toffee, in return for her freedom. Knowing she must find a way around this to prevent Eclipsa getting free, Moon approached the local camp that the monsters had set up near the castle, which just so happened to be where Toffee was stationed.

After respectfully asking to speak to the general, Toffee introduced himself to Queen Moon. Moon asked politely for Toffee and his monsters to leave the premises and end the war, but Toffee and his monsters refused. This prompted Moon to cast the Darkest Spell on Toffee, but to prevent the freedom of Eclipsa, Moon instead fired a warning shot towards his hand. The blast cut the middle finger on his right hand clean off. Toffee, of course, tried to regenerate his finger at first, but to no avail. This sent the entire army into chaos, as the Septarian's ability to regenerate was the only thing keeping them from losing the war. Toffee was less than pleased with this, and simply stood up and walked off. The war ended soon after.

As for how Toffee met Wanda? Well, the two met on Mewni shortly after the aftermath of the war. Wanda, not knowing the full scale of the war and what Toffee had really done, knew of this world's magic and told him of The Whispering Spell, the only way to destroy the royal wand. Once this spell was spoken, whoever was closest to the wand would be sucked inside of it and the wand would be cleaved. Toffee knew that this information would be benificial to his plan. He thanked Wanda and bid her farewell, not hearing from her since.

That is, until Toffee received an invitation to a gathering out of seemingly nowhere. Because she had helped him with his plan (albeit not knowing his true intentions), Toffee felt that attending this gathering was the least he could do to show his gratitude.

If "family" meant everything to your character, what would their dream life be?: Having his Queen by his side to rule Wakanda, and having a closer bond to his sister.

Short Bio: T'Challa is the Black Panther, king of Wakanda, one of the most technologically advanced nations on Earth. He is among the top intellects and martial artists of the world, a veteran Avenger, and a member of the Illuminati. Using his powers and abilities, he has pledged his fortune, powers, and life to the service of all mankind. Black Panther has been a member of the Avengers at the same time as Wanda Maximoff, and they otherwise operate in similar circles.​

Name: Teth Adam (Aka Black Adam)
Canon: DC (I'm mixing around New 52 and Post Crisis versions.)
Dream Life: Adam would still be with Isis who is pregnant with their first child. She did not die as the attack on Khandaq would have never happened in the first place. They would usher a period of peace in their nation, the world leaving having long since accepted his claim to rule Khandaq. Currently, he is much less ruthless than before, his wife's influence having a positive effect on him.

Bio: Teth Adam, also known as Black Adam is the ruler of Khandaq and champion of the Egyptian Gods. Powerless after the end of World War 3 and mourning the loss of his wife, Isis, Adam met Wanda, who had suddenly appeared within the borders of his nation. Meeting the depowered Adam, Wanda took pity on him, sharing a word or two with the dictator of Khandaq.

Mason would be back in his home universe with his (dead) girlfriend Carol and his brother Leon. They would start a family. Mason would have a kid, and Leon would find a life partner too. They could all live together in peace.

Short Bio:​

Mason, on his 18th birthday, had a horrible traumatic experience[spoili](his girlfriend dying)[/spoili] that caused him to flee his home universe and travel the multiverse through the power of a magical necklace known as the World's Heart. The necklace contained a spirit named Oracle who acted as a guide for Mason learning his powers and was his source of portals to travel through the multiverse. More Details Here

Mason met Wanda during the events of Murder Game XV: Civil War. Although he didn't know her well, he at least recognizes her name, face, personality, and powers. Since the events of that MG, Mason has been working in the U.N. Secretariat. He was happy to see the invitation and was glad to see a change of pace from life at the office.

Mason's level of strength on Civil War was tied to his necklace, so if that gets removed, his powers will be severely muted, if not completely inaccessible.​

Name: Corrin of the White Rose (named because of the white rose in her hair)

If "family" meant everything to your character, what would their dream life be?: Corrin's dream life would be a quiet life with her children. Robin, whom she had befriended, would still be there, living life away from the United Nations and helping her take care of her children. She would see both Hoshidan and Nohrian families living in harmony. Everything would be quiet, calm, and peaceful.

Short Bio:

Avatar (Fates)

Corrin met Wanda during the Bright Falls incident. They never talked, but they knew who each other was. Following Bright Falls, Corrin was lost. She spent some time back in her own universe. However, she was still lost after Bright Falls, unsure of what was real. One day, one of Camilla's retainers sent for her. She told her of a job, of a future. Corrin followed it up and ended up meeting Robin, the UN Secretary-General.

She befriended Robin, even following him as his private guard to the Coalition that ended in the Civil War, where she met Wanda again. Corrin grew close to him, seeing him as a role model and an ally. Someone similar to her.

One day, a letter was addressed to her in the UN Mailroom. It was lost due to bureaucracy until it arrived miraculously on Robin's desk.

Other Info: She still goes everywhere barefoot.
She also comes from the Revelation route.
She has the ability to turn into a dragon as well as Yato, her sword. Both of these will be nerfed or even gone if needed.

Family absolutely does mean everything to Rumple. Ages ago, his son fell through a magical portal and he lost the boy, trying his hardest to find him ever since. So, Rumple's dream life would be in a world where he has his son Baelfire by his side and the boy forgives Rumple for abandoning him. Preferably, Rumple would also have the ability to use his magic in this world, because he is absolutely terrified of living without it, and desperate to hold onto his power. Maybe his son and himself could also live in a large castle, like the one he lives at in the Enchanted Forest. And they could have a cleaning maid like, ehem, that wench Belle. Lately, he's grown somewhat used to having her around. Not for anything else but cleaning, of course! Someone has to clean the house!

Rumplestiltskin

Rumpelstiltskin has the ability to travel between magical realms. During one of his journeys to procure magical items he encountered Wanda and spoke with her for a brief time in order to aide in his research of magical individuals. Before leaving, he even gathered information on her and took it home, storing it within the library of his castle.

Rumpelstiltskin is a powerful dark wizard and has various magical powers that will be nerfed, but I'm still going to list them below.​

• Dark One - Ability to use the powers of Darkness acquired with the Dark One's Dagger.

• Blood Magic - Use of one's own blood as a magical seal that can only be broken by someone of the same bloodline.

• Enhanced Traits - Augmented strength, agility, durability and fighting skills.

• Immortality - Eternal unaging life. Can only be killed with the Dark One's Dagger.

• Witchcraft - Ability to cast spells and/or curses.

• Conjuration - Ability to conjure objects out of the blue.

• Healing Spells - Ability to magically heal injuries and/or diseases.

• Heart-ripping - Ability to rip someone's heart out in order to control/kill them, among other purposes.

• Magical Immobilization - Ability to magically immobilize something or someone.

• Pyrokinesis - Ability to conjure and control fire.

• Shapeshifting - Ability to alter the appearance of oneself or others.

• Telekinesis - Ability to control the movement of objects or other people/animals.

• Teleportation - Ability to magically teleport oneself and/or others from one location to another.

• Fairy Magic - Use of fairy dust and/or fairies' wands to do magic.

She longs for and encourages it everywhere she can, and would love nothing more than to have a family of her own, though she has little desire to go back to her own after sacrificing being in their company to save their kingdom, wanting a taste of heroics and love of her own. Which she found, having slowly but surely fallen for what was initially her 'captor'. Her dream life would consist of being with him, starting a family and living just about anywhere, so long as they were together. If possible, preferably without his magic and with his lost son restored.

If "family" meant everything to your character, what would their dream life be?: Just spending her time in a relaxing environment with her husband and daughter.

Short Bio: Kori grew up in an orphanage after being abandoned by her mother, even though her mother wanted to keep Kori she couldn't as she was only 16 and wasn't ready for her own kid yet.... Growing up she wasn't really that popular, kids seemed to avoid her because she was different, different in the sense that she was wielder of ice magic, though as she grew up a certain school known as Hope's Peak Academy took an interest in this and decided to scout her, she attended Hope's Peak up until the tragedy began and ended up being manipulated by Junko into becoming an Ultimate Despair, and slaughtering a majority of her classmates as a result, though once she had regained her sanity she didn't remember any of it, when she came to she was out in the tragedy alone and confused, but she did end up meeting Wanda not long after by pure chance, Kori decided to interact with Wanda to try to get an idea of what exactly was happening, eventually over their talks they became friends and Wanda would occasionally drop by to see how she was doing.

Our reality is a multiverse where a near-infinite number of universes reside; never touching, but always together, side-by side. For the vast majority, the knowledge of other worlds beyond their own is nothing more than fantasy, at least until one woman came into their lives.

Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, had been traveling the multiverse using her unique powers. Following a tragedy, she had sought to find solace somewhere within reality. She traveled for many days until she finally stopped... and disappeared. To those close to her, Wanda has been missing for months, but now some sign of her has surfaced.

Arriving magically and without warning were invitations, sent out to many of the people Wanda had met throughout her travels in the multiverse. Not all were friends of Wanda, but the invitation asked for them all to join her at a grand party and provided magical transportation if they desired to attend. Some would come for friendship, others because they were worried, some out of a respect, and maybe a few wanting to settle something with the witch.

So she said, "I want you all to meet my family."

In this RP, you will be playing a fandom character (or OC!) invited to a mysterious gathering. It is up to your own personal discretion why they may be motivated to heed Wanda's invitation and attend. They do not have to be friends with Wanda. Their encounter with her is up to you and you can say it was an unpleasant experience.

If you're not familiar with Wanda as a character, it's not a huge deal. Any erratic behavior can be explained away on her recent trauma. Just keep in mind she is a powerful reality-bending witch.

Also keep in mind this RP will involve character death, but any characters who do die will still be able to play as part of the story.

All characters with powers or special weapons will lose these at some point in the RP as part of the story, just to let you know ahead of time.

3) If you're a newcomer, welcome! Though the Murder Series is a mass fandom roleplay with its own original lore that's been built up and up for a while, don't let all that intimidate you. Previous knowledge of the Murder Series or any of the past events isn't required. That being said, as a fairly tight-knit community, we suggest and encourage you to join our Murder Group to keep up with updates and meet the community. Also, see our Discord server.

4) No OOC talk in the IC, please. Take it to the group or Discord.

5) This should be a given, but no godmodding / metagaming. If you don't have a clear idea on what those are, see this post here.

6) Players of all posting levels are welcome here. That being said, please at least put something whenever you make a post. We'd like no IC posts with nothing but image spam. Any posts like this will be deleted as spam. Speaking of image spam, please only post a maximum of three images / GIFs per post in order to not flood the page with images that make it harder to load. Generally, less is more!

7) Due to the intended speed of the game, it is a very good idea to seek out other users to be your "posting partners" so that you have some people you can stick with. Using the tagging system is absolutely required. It's fine (and encouraged) to only keep up with a few characters / players for the majority of the game, as that is far easier than trying to keep tabs on everyone. Summaries and important GM posts will be made prominent.

8) Please post at least once a chapter. Chapters will generally last from a few days up to a few weeks, so you'll hopefully have plenty of time. Not doing so will result in your character possibly being removed from the game. At the very least, PM me if anything comes up and I'll do my best to keep you around.

9) You may only play one character.

Robin, whom she had befriended, would still be there, living life away from the United Nations and helping her take care of her children. She would see both Hoshidan and Nohrian families living in harmony. Everything would be quiet, calm, and peaceful.

Corrin met Wanda during the Bright Falls incident. They never talked, but they knew who each other was. Following Bright Falls, Corrin was lost. She spent some time back in her own universe. However, she was still lost after Bright Falls, unsure of what was real. One day, one of Camilla's retainers sent for her. She told her of a job, of a future. Corrin followed it up and ended up meeting Robin, the UN Secretary-General.

She befriended Robin, even following him as his private guard to the Coalition that ended in the Civil War, where she met Wanda again. Corrin grew close to him, seeing him as a role model and an ally. Someone similar to her.

One day, a letter was addressed to her in the UN Mailroom. It was lost due to bureaucracy until it arrived miraculously on Robin's desk.

Other Info: She still goes everywhere barefoot.
She also comes from the Revelation route.
She has the ability to turn into a dragon as well as Yato, her sword. Both of these will be nerfed or even gone if needed.
