I nod my head as I stand beside Aemond and Rhaenyra. "The maids are very competent, I only wished to be sure everything was truly in order. It took very little time." I respond honestly, giving the young prince a soft smile. "We are glad to be back. I have missed this place." I whisper after a moment, looking around the godswood. "I do hope your father didn't upset too much, my lady?" I ask the princess, head tilted to the side. Idly, I remember that Rhaenyra recieved her soul mate mark and I realize that my nameday will be here soon. Meaning I will turn 14 and get my soul mate mark. I'm not sure how to feel about it, nervous, excited, scared, or even just neutral, so I decide not to dwell on the thought and instead focus on Rhaenyra. Through the years I have come to regard the princess as a close friend as well as cousin.

Daemon watches his fiery little sister defend Rhaenyra and a ghost of a cock smile dances across his lips. Upon the minor conflict calming, he faces Viserys again and listens as they are told about his wedding to Alicent, the attempted conception of a new princeling. Honestly, he could care less about his brother fucking the Hightower girl, he knows she is merely a puppet for her father's will to be acted out. Shifting, he briefly brushes his hand with Visenya's again, once more trying to provide her with some comfort.

Visenya sighed softly and then feeling daemon step up behind her and she tipped back leaning against him when he does. He had always been her strength and her rock. Even when they were younger. She sighed softly as the crowd slowly filtered out of the godswood following the king as he mad merry walking thru the halls of the keep. It was a rather ridiculous special how they all hung off his words. She'd gotten used to not dealingwith the vipers and liars of court. She would need to build her tolerance back up. "Daemon... Can we go back to the war now?" She asked thuroughly done dealing with the leech's of court.

Aemond chuckled softly and nods "ever the task manager. I remember even when we were young and rhaenyra would come up with these outlandish plans that would just end in trou Le you would plan it out to the minute and figure out the guards schedules. We probably only got away with most of it because you where there." He says quietly as he looks to the woman fondly. He had just received his mark meer days before. He had been very excited about it but now came the task of finding his soulmate. He hoped that he would have an easier time of it then rhaenyra. His sister had been looking since she received hers seven years prior. Some people never found their other half....

I laugh fondly and smile. "Truly, if you pay attention, the guards are quite repetitive in their schedules and routines. But we wouldn't have gotten away with anything if you hadn't been so good at sneaking about." I add on, humming. "My name day is coming soon. I wonder what will happen. Does getting a soul mate mark hurt?" I ask, slightly worried but doing my best to appear calm. "May I see yours, Cousin?" I ask Aemond curiously.

Daemon lets out a soft, breathy chuckle in Visenya's ear, humming and gently rubbing her shoulders as the godswood slowly empties of other people. "Believe me, I would like nothing more. But we are needed here, Visenya. Worry not, I am ever by your side." He whispers to her, helping her remain upright while also using the chance to be close to his dearest sister. "Now, I believe you wished to discuss something?" he says in High Valeryon (sorry, idk how to spell it) so no one but family will understand.

Visenya sighs softly and closes her eyes hearing his laugh from behind her. "we could. Disapear I mean. Just go to bloodstone and build a castle out of the sandstone there. Invite rhaenyra and let the seven kingdoms fall to dust." She muttered quietly it was treason to speak such words but she was beyond carrying and there was no one but daemon to report her and he would never. "yes. You cut your hair." She says quietly a slight disapproval in her voice because in doing so he had bared his mark for all to see and granted it allowed her to see the mark identical to her own but still. She didn't want everyone and their brother seeing it.

Aemond Looks down at the younger valaryon and then to rhaenyra his elder sister. She bore her mark proudly on her wrist. It was a black serpentine pattern wrapping about her wrist and traveling down her middle finger. It had been long enough that she kept it out so that anyone with a matching mark might see it and come forward. She was desperate for her match now that her father was threatening to find a match of convience for her. "We are not supposed to share our marks cousin, not unless we think the person is our soulmate." He reminded her briefly and then he ruffled her silver corkscrew curls gently. "It did not hurt. Worry not cousin. It was like a warm touch from a loved one when it appeared." He says to reassure her.

I puff out my cheeks a little bit at his words, pouting ever so slightly. However, when he touches my head I lean into it subconsciously. "What about when I get mine, if I show you mine will you shoe me yours?" I ask him with a hopeful little smile. "I just want to know what it looks like. Rhaenyra's is so beautiful, I'm sure yours is too, Aemond." I whisper, head tilted to one side. "Please cousin? I promise I won't tell anyone."

Awmond hums and nods his head. "I did. Is this about your preference for my hair to be long, or the fact that you can see my soul mate mark?" he asks her softly, looking down at the woman curiously. He knows that people are often protective and possessive of their marks, never showing anyone who isnt their soulmate, but he really does not have such reservations. Sure, he would not go about showing every man woman and child, but hiding it doesnt seem necessary to him. One cannot fake a soul mark, so no one could pretend to be his soul mate, and no one dared speak to a Targaryen rudely or condescendingly, lest their lose their tongue, or worse their life.

Visenya does give a small pout as she looks up at his hair now short barely long enough in the front to drape down and partially cover his eyes. "What will I broad now when neither of us can sleep? It was my favorite mid night task." She says quietly as her hand raises to comb thru the short strands. "You never told me your mark was there." She says quietly. They had always been close. Close enough to raise suspicion and questions from Otto over the years. Rightfully so of course. Daemon had actually taken her maidenhood nearly five years previously but since then she had slept with any number of people. Maids servants Laena she and rhaenyra had even had a short adventure together. But Otto didn't need to know that. No one did. That was her own business.

Aemond lifts a brow at her gentle pesturing and then bargaining and he gives a small shrug. "Sure cousin when you get yours and show me I will show you mine. It seems fair enough. But then you will also have to let me ride that beast of yours with you. She is finally large enough to saddle two after all." He says with a bright grin. He would steal rides on a dragon from any and everyone he could manage. Rhaenyra had allowed himnonto syrax daemon begrudgingly allowed him to ride caraxes and visenya had coddled her beast the cannibal into allowing him in her saddle. There was no feeling like being on dragon back in the clouds. Not even sex could compare. In his rather limited experience anyway. He had been to a brothel on his ten and forth name day brought there by several kingsguard and other knights he'd grown close too.

I give Aemond a wide grin and nod my head enthusiastically, much to Rhaenyra's amusement. "Of course, we could go riding right now if you wish!" I offer, taking Aemond's hand in mine. "If you ever want to go riding you need only tell me." I add on sweetly. "My dragon is fond of you anyway." I say with a soft laugh. "Oh I hope that I won't be forced into some extravagant party on my name day..." I say after a moment. "Far too many people all looking to get in with our families. The three of us could sneak away if that happens. Just like we use to."

Daemon hums softly. "Do not worry for my hair, I promise to grow it out again so you may braid it just as before, sister. As for my mark, I suppose I had always assumed you had seen it while braiding my hair." He tells her gently. "I apologize for not telling you dear one. Has it upset you greatly?" He asks her gently, cupping one of her cheeks in his large hand. He never has liked seeing his sister even remotely unhappy, and being the cause of said upset makes him feel sick to his stomach.

Visenya sighs softly and then she looks at her daft brother shaking her head some truly he was a bit thick headed sometimes. "you've never allowed me to do more then a simple top braid. I've never had cause to lift it up to see the mark beneath." She says softly her hand slipping down from his hair to play with the mark tracing it's lines without needing to see it at all. She had the design memorized by now she'd traced it enough on her own neck. It was a deft movement one gained from practice and she didn't try to hide that fact but perhaps he would not realize. Would not catch on. " I know your hair will grow back lekia." She says with a small roll of her eyes.

Aemond snorts, his laughter louder now as he looks down at his shorter cousin. "You've never been one for big celebrations. I remember sneaking off for many of your name day feasts. Spending time in the pits with the dragons before yours was large enough to ride.. We would just sit and listen to the sounds of the dragons and plan for when we would run away on dragon back. How much food we would need and where we would go. It would have to be far to avoid the family with dragons chasing after us." He says with a small laugh before he reached out and took her hand. "We need not sneak away now. You are a woman grown now, if you do not wish for a feast then let it be known and put the silly planning to bed before it can be finished."

I shake my head softly, holding Aemond's hand as we talk. "I fear it is too late. It had slipped my mind until now and my name day is only two days away. I would come off as ungrateful to my mother and father and I would hate that. I suppose I'll just have to endure for a while before we can sneak away to the dragon pits again." I ponder, idly fiddling with the pendant around my neck that I had been given by Aemond in my 10th name day. "Where do you think my mark will be?"

Daemon takes a moment to process the defines with which Visenya traces his mark before he slowly and gently eases his hand under her hair to the name of her neck, finding the same mark on her skin. "Of course how foolish of me to not realize sooner..." he whispers to her, tracing his fingers over her mark with the same oracticed deftness that she traces his. He brings his sister into a tight hug, holding her firmly against him, closing his eyes for a moment to indulge himself in the closeness.

Visenya gives a small laugh as she can almost watch his realization in real time. His eyes go a bit wide his brows lift and then his mouth falls a bit open. It's adorable. Then he lifts her hair as if to check and make sure. "I have always been smarter then you lekia." She teases softly before he pulls her in against his chest her hands wrapping around his waist and then she snuggles her face in as much as she can to his armoured chest. "You will need to grow your hair out, I don't want anyone attempting to copy it or even see it." She says quietly as her hand finds the black marking on his skin. Her mark was a bit different, a crimson red, to match the cor of his dragon. His was a black with eerie green tones and wisps for her black beast with bright green eyes.

Aemond shrugs. "Your a princess In your own right. Your mother is the princess rhaenys. Your bound to be a bit spoilt and stuck up cousin. Is this news to you?" He taunts her softly as he looks around. They had wandered away from the group and now stood outside her own bedchambers. He wondered exactly when they had started on the path to these rooms but then he shrugged forgetting try he thought and focused on her again. "If you wish I can simply forget of your name day and throw away your presents?" He teases further and then bumps into her with his shoulder to show he is teasing.

I give a playful huff at Aemond's words, bumping right back into him. "Very funny. Actually, your gifts have always been my favorite. They're more personal than most others that I'm given. I can feel your care when I see them." I admit softly, still holding onto his hand. "I've kept every single one of your gifts from my name days." I tell him, giving a small smile. "Like the journal from last year. I brought it on Rhaenyra's tour, I wrote in it the whole time."

Daemon hums in acknowledgement of her words. "As you wish, sister." He whispers, one hand cupping the back of Visenya's head gently while his other arm holds her gently against him. "I believe we should retire for the evening, sister. Will you accompany me?" He asks her with a cheeky smile. "I would like to enjoy my soulmate's presence alone a while longer before the world finds out eventually."

Visenya smirks some when he suggests retiring for the evening. "And tarnish my perfect maidenly image by retiring with a man that is not my husband? The scandals you propose are horrible brother." She says teasingly before she pulls away and takes his hand in a gentle grip leading him from the gods wood and into the twisting halls of the keep. She could likely make her way to daemons chambers blindfolded she had traveled this path so many times now. Whenever she had a nightmare she would climb into his bed and sleep soundly the rest of the night, and whenever she was hurt by something someone had said or suggested about her she would run to her brother and he would sooth whatever ache or hurt she felt.

Aemond tips his head to the side a bit surprised when she mentions keeping all of his gifts. He had thought perhaps she threw away the earlier ones. They where stupid things. A book he thought she would enjoy, a raven that had never tried to bite him before, a smooth riverstone that he had picked up from a trip down the kingsroad to visit winterfell and the wall. Check on the nights watch and the warden of the north with his father and sister. It had been a strangely blue stone when submerged in the water but when it dried it was a soft red color. Almost like her. When she was aboard a shop she was a Valaryon thru and thru, but put her on dragon back and she every bit the Targaryen that he was. The stone reminded him of her so he had grabbed it and brought it back to the keep to give to her on her next name day. "You kept all of them?" He asked a bit incredulously

I nod my head as I pull Aemond into my quarters, humming. "Every one. I would never discard a gift from my favorite cousin." I tease softly. "Although the raven did escape. I hope it's happy wherever it wound up." I say thoughtfully as I take a seat at a small table in the corner of my room. "Please, make yourself comfortable." I offer, seeing him standing a bit stiffly in the middle of the room. "No one saw us, so no whispers of scandal will ensue, I promise."

Daemon laughs with her, walking to his rooms with her with a kind of ease and care free step that he only really has with Visenya. "Oh please, you and I have relaxed in my quarters for your whole life, dearest sister," He teases right back, "no more scandal will be created than there already is. And besides, who in their right mind would stand and attempt to besmirch your good name while I am present?" He adds on, hand securely holding hers.

Aemond shifts slightly from foot to foot as she drug him into her chambers. He looked around surprised to find several gifts he had given her actually on display I the room several books on the shelf the journel open on her pillow and the rock he'd given her was in a small glass display box half filled with water to show of the shifting colors. Even the cage he'd given her for the raven was sat in the corner of the room even though it was empty. "I can find you another raven if you like? Though I'm afraid you wouldn't really be able to display my coming gift very well." He says as he slowly sits down in a chair opposite her.

Visenya rolls her eyes though she conceeds go his point anyone willing to speak badly of her at all around daemon would lose their tongue or head whichever was easier for him to remove at the moment in which they spoke wrongly. She sat in her usual spot right in the middle of his bed cuddling into the blankets and pillows until all that can really be seen of her snuggled figure is her silver haired head sticking out from the pillows and blankets she father's to herself. "Yes that is a fair point. This is where I spent most of my boredom even when you where off galavanting thru the realms." She says a bit accusingly. She was still a bit resentful that he had left her behind to go adventuring.

I tilt my head to the side curiously, blinking. "What do you mean? Why do you seem so surprised to see your gifts? They're very precious to me." I tell him with a soft smile. "Oh I nearly forgot, I brought you something from Rhaenyra's tour!" I remember suddenly, hopping up from my chair and going to search in my travel bags for the item I had bought for him while away from home.

Daemon laughs softly. "Are you still better about that, Visenya? I brought you so many gifts from my travels." He reminds her, beginning to remove his armor slowly and carefully. After he is only in his pants and a loose tunic, he sits on the edge of his bed, looking at the vaguely human looking lump in his bed with silver hair. "And I wrote to you as much as I could." He adds on after a beat of silence.

Visenya pouts vaguely and nods "gifts do not make up for your absence lekia." She says before her eyes watch as he takes off his armour leaving him in simple trousers and a pull over tunic. When he sits on on the bed she smiled slightly and slips over closer to him until her head is resting on his lap. "How did we not realize?" She asked softly as she looked up at him.

Aemond startles a bit and then smiled as she went over to her bags and chests searching thru them rather chaoticly to find whatever she had brought back for him. He wondered briefly what it was and then he decided to just sit and wait because he didn't want to follow her and startle her. He looked at her watching as she searched trying to get his mind off the fact that she was almost of age and trying valiently to keep his thoughts pure when she was bent over like that. She was his friend.

I let out a happy little squeak as I find the gift I bought for Aemond, walking back over and handing him a leather necklace with a saphire hanging from it. "I saw this and thought you might like it, so I bought it for you! It was the only one like it that the salesman had, I hope you like it." I babble on, swaying back and forth on my feet as I tell him all about the necklace and where the saphire comes from.

Daemon hums softly as he begins to gently comb his fingers through Visenya's hair. "Indeed. It should have been obvious to us." He laughs ever so softly, his eyes fondly fixated on his beautiful sister. Though now, he can confidently refer to her as his lovely soulmate as well. Truly, whatever gods are out there are smiling on him at the moment, giving him the soulmate he's always wanted in his beloved sister.

Visenya grips at his knee lightly as she looked up at him. "We are both idiots." She says softly and then she raises a hand to play with his tunic. "And to think we fucked after I received it and still didn't realize." We really aren't very good at reading the world's schemes I would say..." She says quietly teasing them both in that moment.

Aemond looks up a bit startled at her noise of excitement his brow raised as his angular cheeks tip upwards in a small smirk smile thing and he shakes his head as she walks over to him practically wiggling in excitement "I love it.." he says softly as he grabs the necklace up and then puts it on quickly pulling his long silver hair thru the leather cord. Then he looks at her listening as she explains where it comes from. "It's a wonderful gift. Thank you cousin."

I smile and lean forward, giving Aemond a tight hug full of happiness. "I'm so glad you like it!" I whisper against his shoulder, looking up at him with a happy smile. "You're the only one I brought anything back for. I wanted it to be special. What did you mean by I won't be able to display your coming gift by the way?" I ask curiously, still hugging him with my chest pressed against him.

Daemon agrees with a laugh, humming as he pulls her up to sit in his lap, his arms wrapping firmly around her waist to hold her against his chest. "Indeed. We have been extremely thick, haven't we?" He teases right back, his hands slowly wandering her body as he cradles Visenya against him, savoring the feel of her curves even though they are covered with clothing at the moment. "But we know now, lover." He whispers in her ear.

Aemond rolls his eyes "well if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise." He says rather pointedly and then he wraps an arm around her and hols her close for a moment. Allowing the inappropriate behavior. Then slowly he pushed her away gently his hand on her shoulder his thumb stroking the exposed skin at her call or from the cut of her dress. "thank you really. It's lovely."

Visenya shakes her head some and closed her eyes briefly her face turning to nussle her nose in against his warm stomach as she snuggled to him enjoying his hands on her face and hair he was braiding the silver strands idley and she rather enjoyed it. "Mine." She says quietly her hand gripping a bit possessively at the hem of his shirt.
