Will had had no choice but to curl up into the fetal position in an attempt to protect himself against the rain of blows that were coming down on him. He wouldn't fight back. He couldn't do it no matter how much he wanted to. He would not prove to everyone that he was a monster by losing control and killing the three of his attackers. His life was already hell as it was to attack them would only make things worse even if it was in his own self defense. No one would care. He was an angel with black wings. He wasn't Fallen. But no one cared. They only saw him as scum.

But then suddenly the blows stopped. First he felt the air git colder and he risked taking a look up to see a girl standing not to far away from them with a threatening glare on her face at his three attackers. What was she doing?..was she only scaring them off because she wanted to finish him off herself? or was she..actually trying to help him?..no that couldn't be the case. No one ever helped him. Then out of no where a second person arrived. This one human and he almost instantly started firing off shots at his three attackers as he as well attempted to protect Will from the onslaught.

The next thing he knew another guy was pulling him up to his feet and telling him to use his wings next time. Yeah he had tried that once..and nearly lost his wings in the process. He didn't want to risk doing something like that again but how was he to know. Three people were defending him now? and not only that but one of them was asking him to eat with them? This had to be some kind of dream or some higher entity was playing a cruel joke on him. Then the howling started. Will had to grit his teeth and cover his ears the sound hurt so bad.

When he opened his eyes he saw his three attackers running for the hills and a girl standing nearby laughing. He pulled his ears away just in time to hear her say to buy her lunch or she would eat his head. He paled a bit at that threat and only nodded a bit in response. He didn't know the girl but he damn well got the feeling she would make good on her threat to do so. "..who are all of you?..why did you help me?.." He dusted himself off a bit and wiped some of the blood away from his nose. God it hurt..may very well be broken.

He glances around the room at all four of his helpers before he swallowed hard "..thanks for the help..but..It's better if you don't get involved with me. Anyone who does gets hurt in the end." that was as much of a true statement as it was that he was afraid of them betraying him. In the past anyone who had helped him out had been brutalized even worse then he had been. Then there were the people who pretended to befriend him just to hurt him worse later on. He looked over at the girl who wanted him to buy her lunch "..i'll pay you for your lunch..I'm assuming your one of the people who's lunch got launched into their face when we went sliding across the table. I"m sorry about that.."

Sean and Edispu were in the heat of battle when another student came behind the pair to help up Will. Sean almost knocked his head off, but used all his might to reverse the swing into the belly of an angel and firing a shot of Soul Fire into the angel charging in front of him from the butt of his bat. They both flinched grabbing their stomachs, Edispu's connection started to bewitch Sean and he turned about to kill the angel behind him like it was natural. It was then an angel unknowingly saved the angel with his words;

You're just making things worse by bullying the bullies.
Sean was never one to pay mind to threats or danger for that matter, so the boy's words were ignored up until this point. Sean stopped staring at the angel, but Edispu slammed into her knocking her away. He was still pissed they had picked on Will, it surprised and worried Sean. Edispu was well known by the boy for his mischief and horrible intentions. Sean swung the Soul Reaper on top of his shoulders and turned walking away from the angel, her pride however led her to try and back stab the boy. Edispu saw and spat a glob of Soul Fire into the angel's eyes, she dropped her weapon and squirmed on the ground holding here eyes. Edispu walked on all fours calmly striding next to Sean. That put Sean at ease. "Damn, angels. I thought they were supposed to be good natured and pure of heart..." Edispu looked over to the three. "...But, you three are just a trio of demons." Edispu wore a large grin proud of himself for insulting the angels. The boy that stopped Sean's hand soon halted the angered angels forcibly. He threatened them and then pushed them into Will. Disgusted the two ran over to there friend and took off.

Sean looked over his shoulder and saw that the girl who was getting use to the sting of soul fire in your eyes had left her sword behind. Sean looked to Edispu. "You probably blinded her. We could get expelled."

Edispu sighed. "No we won't. For one if this matter were that serious a teacher would have been here by now. And secondly, she tried to kill you. I saved your life."

Sean looked surprised again. "Why?"

Edispu looked over to Will. "Don't get me wrong kid. I hate you and this deal, but that angel with the black wings. If there is any chance he is a fallen, the result of his powers awakening would be an extraordinary sight to see. I can't monitor that if our deal is broken with your death. And something else just moved me..."

Sean tapped him with the bat. "Oi, don't go getting all serious on me. I'll forget."

Edispu sighed and then looked away, but remebered he hit him with a bat. "Wait! Was that necessary I-"
"You, Sean. Yukino perhaps? Join us."
Sean turned his look to a glare at Wesley. "No."

"Yes."

Their answers were simultaneous and their voices almost identical.

"Fine, we will join you."

Edispu snickered to himself. "Mr. Laidback."

Sean snapped a glared to Edispu. "Shut up." He walked over to the two and looked around for a Yukino to make herself known. She soon made herself known denying his request and walking off. Sean waved and started off without the other two, but halted when some angry beast made herself known in the cafeteria stopping the angels at the entrance table. They all now more than scared flew off as fast as possible lugging their friend almost dropping her. Sean turned stuffing a hand in his pocket and watched as the voice got closer. Her presence simply ignored by his oblivious and calm attitude. The beast was none other than the most feared thing by all men;
A GIRL
Sean took a step back surprised that the voice belonged to such a cute looking female. She approached Will and Edispu walked in front of the boy and immediately spoke after she was done. "Shut up Will. She can buy her own lunch if she was so hungry." Sean walked up placing a hand on the guy's shoulder.

"Will, not all people need reasons for helping out. Some make excuses for doing it. So, we did it for our own selfish gain. Don't think too much of it." Sean stuffed his hand back in his pocket and began spinning the bat starting a soul fire burn on the bat. "Honestly, I normally don't intrude, but Edispu here has some things he'd like to see and now I would too. So, I'm going to kindly ask you to back off. Will here is a very intriguing person to us. Don't want him getting too messed up." He stopped spinning the bat with it pointed at her feet. The soul fire dissipated.

Truth be told I only helped to find out about those black wings, but it seems like Edispu knows something cool about 'em that I don't... Jeez, today has been to hectic for my taste.

The hell is this thing!

She stepped on the head of the small boney dog.

"Shut up you little ankle biter. I'm so hungry I'll eat your soul. I don't care how blackened and non-existent it is."

As for the other guy...

"I'm just gonna pretend you didn't say anything. Kay? That way I don't try something like this!"

She pointed her rifle at his face

Bang!

"...Just Kidding!"

"You see I get veeeery cranky when I'm hungry. As of right now, I haven't had anything to eat since first thing this morning. I used what little money I had with me to buy my lunch, NOT expecting people to come flying out of nowhere, and dirty my favorite shirt. So I'm left with a stained shirt, no money, and an appetite that is REALLY going to be a problem. I don't like being angry, but I can't help it. It's really difficult keeping this smile up, you know? Just buy me some food, and I'm a very pleasant person, you know? Besides I like Will! It may not seem like it, but that's just because I'm really pissed off right now. Kay?"

Her smile was dazzling. But her aura was soul crushing. It made the air feel dense and heavy. The air around her was hot. She was not happy with whoever this guy was. Truth be told, she could have easily started another fight if she wanted to. And she did. But she won't. Cause then she would never know the savory flavor that was a cheese burger. That's all she ever wanted. Things didn't have to turn out this way you know!

Wesley was rather content, the stupid 'bullies' were gone. He had some people to talk to... Well that he didn't hate... yet... He smiled to himself as this hellish scream rang through his ears. He wasn't sure what it was, but he could only assume he might be able to fight something. Wesley then realized what it was. Some girl he'd seen once or twice before... the sniper chick... As Wesley called her in his mind. She was one crazy girl... Wesley often thought she was actually psychotic... The way she talked to Will only set the nails into the crazy coffin. She had to be fuckin nuts. The only person more crazy here was Sean for trying to approach her and have Will's back. "I'll be over... somewhere... Come get me if you want to take up my offer..." Wesley's voice trailed off as he walked away from the three.

The kid turned down his lunch offer, but his demon accepted... the kid seemed kind of stuck up to him. Wesley was about to intrude, but he thought he'd just let things play out. Mr. hero might get a few bullet wounds if he wasn't careful. Wesley took the nearest open seat he could find and kept his gaze on Sean. He unknowingly sat down by Yukino and some other girl that he did not know. he didn't turn his head but gave a small wave towards them and smiled as he thought about just what the hell was about to happen. If shit got too crazy, he was going to step in, it was only proper. But he was just really curious as to if Sniper chick was going to snap or not. Erin was her name... It finally clicked. He wasn't sure though.

Oh. And all that got settled to the point of overkill before much more could happen, it seemed. Great. Alright, other people were suddenly sitting at the table she and Gabe were at. And she didn't even notice.

Oops. Forgive Beate. She can be a bit... inattentive sometimes. Not exactly air-headed but... Okay, maybe it was easier to describe her as somewhat air-headed at times. Bah.

Facing Yukino, she would silently nod, giving approval for her to sit with them, scooting over and giving her some space to sit, before doing the same with Wesley. Gabe wouldn't mind the extra company, right? Beate wouldn't. As long as they didn't disturb her or anything.

As she would continue to nom on her fries or whatever, Zauberer would tilt his head and give the newcomers a quizzical look, briefly glancing at the scene that they had just left.

"... So, what was that all about? The deal with that kid with the black wings?" He'd ask curiously, not familiar with the situation.

Edispu grunted in response to being stepped on, he was tangible for the fight so she was able to touch him. "Ankle biter? I'll show you an ankle biter you prideful girl!" Edispu became enraged and engulfed himself in soul flame propelling upwards and biting the girl's ankle. His voice was slightly muffled, but teeth sunk into her ankle threatening to rip the soul from her body. "Don't threaten me, unless you want me to eat your soul!" Just then he became intangible and his soul fire dispersed. He walked next to Sean and pulled his skull helmet off sitting on it, the skull responded to his command and floated upward. Sean waited for the girl's response to Edispu and then watched as she pointed the barrel of her gun at him. She was making it obvious she didn't want to fight so Sean's mind trailed off subconsciously moving the barrel of the gun to the side. He had made it obvious he wasn't listening with his empty glare. When she finished talking Edispu noticed Sean dozed off and elbowed him. "I'm going to the dorm. I'm tired and hungry. Get me when we've been assigned." Edispu walked off and burned away in blue flames leaving a magic circle with the six words Sean chants to make soul fire stronger or last: Life, Water, Heaven, Death, Fire, Hell.

Sean wasn't given the chance to respond and was lost now. He looked to the girl in front of him remembering she was asking for Will to buy her lunch, but that was about it. "Hey... Do you like him or something? You sorta lost my interest at some point..." Sean scratched his head with the Soul Reaper and then looked to Will. "Hey, Will? Wanna go sit down?" Sean looked at the kids around him "... or maybe not." He then thought about the situation a little harder. "Oh. You were threatening me. No wonder. I'm surprised I didn't kill you. Edispu says I suffer from murderous intent, but..." Sean then went into a long explanation of what Edispu had told him and then transitioned into the food at the cafeteria finally ending with Will paying for her food. "... So, yeah. I guess you just got bad luck today. The philly was okay though. I wonder why they call it that? Hmm..." Sean thought and soon met eyes with the girl again. "...Oh, right. You. I can tell we're not going to get along very well. Why does he got to buy it for you anyway? Ask a friend not the kid who was forcibly thrown into your food. Unless, of course you do like him?" During Sean's rambling people began to go about their business and he looked around and back to the girl. "Oh, it worked? I'm escorting Will to the infirmary. Go bug someone else. You get on my nerves." Sean took Will's hand and dragged him through the crowd. Fearing the consequences more than the people in the cafeteria he sped up a little to report the event before rumors did the work for him.

At the noise of someone approaching Monica looked up making Z'eklaz do the same. Now with Monica's emotional stability beginning to destabalize once more Z'eklaz seemed to return into a burst to his regular height of just over ten feet. "When will you let me grow to my full size once more. I wish to tower over these small... pathetic excuses for architecture." Z'eklaz went on.

With that Monica just glanced up at him "When did you become a... being of the finer things in life. Last thing I remember is that you wanted to destroy everything and electricute... irradiate and absolutely zap everything that was breathing.. even your so called millions of underlings before I... " She stiffled a laugh "Tricked you.." Monica teased him.

With that comment Z'eklaz stopped eating again "So, you think you can trick me-" Was all he could get out before Monica held up a hand "Silence! I have already done so and let it be known that the once great Daemon Lord Z'eklaz.. High Lord of Electrical Daemons and Siege... Machinery and whatever not you declared to me thousands of times... was tricked by a tiny girl... That was was..." She stopped and paused before standing up and pointing at herself "I... Monica.. Lord of Z'eklaz... Higher Lord of Electrical Daemons and Siege... Machinery..."

With that continueing and before Z'eklaz could respond Monica turned to the girl next to them now "Hello, Uh... when did you get here.. I guess I was to busy arguing with the Lord of Over Sized Ego's here." Monica said before sitting down. She finally began to eat her cheese steak and sighed "I really want an apple.." She grumbled.

She was going to kill that kid. Smug bastard. It was only a matter of time before that kid would be the death of the entire planet.

She stood there. Her rage only growing stronger. She needed an outlet of some sort. Her finger slipped. The ground suddenly light up orange.

"Aaah! Hot hot hot hot hot!"

God damned rifle finally went of. It was a good thing she never fired that warning shot, cause this was absolutely a spread that she could only accomplish when she was reeeeeeal pissed. And it only succeeded in making her more upset. She fell to the ground. The grass around her was singed by her aura alone. Despite her anger, she also felt really pissed at herself. She couldn't help it? She's just emotional! It's that dick who's the real problem. He could obviously see she was angry, so why the hell would he make the situation worse. And that dog was gonna get it. Oooooooooh was he gonna get it. So hard. Next time she saw that thing, she was gonna punt it SO hard!

"*sniff* meanie..."

Aaaaand, now she was crying... She is really emotional, you know.

Monica heard the sudden switch in emotional screaming a short distance away and let out a loud groan that echoed slightly above the rest of the noise. "Will you shut up!" She cried making Z'eklaz looked up. The last cheese steak on his plate sliding towards his mouth. He stopped and closed his maw before holding it out to Monica senseingt he mischevious and devious mindset she was slipping into

"You really are becoming like a Daemon.. Our souls must be joining.. its only a matter of time you know.. Corruption is what you wanted.. Now be evil but be nice about it because for now that is a start." Z'eklaz said with a nod before floating up slightly.

Monica stood up and brushed herself off before holding the cheese steak up like a football. The curviture of the cheese steak and the streamline shape of the bun made it the perfect human powered rocket. "Hey you emotionally unstable nut case! You want food so bad then relax and eat a cheese steak!" Monica let out with a massive laugh as she threw it. Knowing soon that they woudl likely be a fight she punched a hand into Z'eklaz'z side makeing him growl "Let me know wheny ou are shoving a hand into me you worm!"

With that she disappeared into Z'eklaz as if she was consumed by his ethereal image. She couldn't see anything at this point and could barely breath due to the consistency of the air around her. But, it was rather cold in here which made her sigh in relief. Turning around she opened a small hole in Z'eklaz's almost non existent form. She peered out and moved sided to side like a periscope.

Sylvia's first day at the academy. It was only lunch time but it felt like it'd already been a week. Perhaps it was just nerves. She hadn't spoken to anyone, learned anyone's name or even really looked anyone in the eye. Heck, she hadn't even taken off her hooded cloak despite the weather. She was getting hot under the layer of cloth but she didn't have the nerves to show people what she looked like just yet. She didn't want a repeat of how things were back home after all.

Eating, as always, was a picky matter. With no hands to pick up food she was forced to use her powers and not all food worked well when she did that. Burgers were off the list as was anything else so loose or big. Eventually she decided she wasn't that hungry and just got a plate of fries. Of course she felt like she was drawing attention even without anyone seeing her wings. On the contrary a new girl in all white walking around, holding up things with her powers might be a bit odder. She stayed to the corner of the cafeteria, staying quiet as she ate one fry at a time.

She tried to ignore the commotion at first. It sounded like people were getting into an argument or something and she just didn't want to be reminded of how easily it could be her as well. Oh goodness, that was a cruel way to think. Eventually something finally got to her. She heard crying. She looked up, seeing a poor girl no older than her sitting on the ground, crying. The sight tugged at her heart strings. It sounded like she'd been making trouble but all the same....

That's when she spotted another girl, a human, with food in her hand, ready to fling it. Sylvia's eyes went wide. She moved without much thought, using her Tailwind to throw herself across the room, an immediate and well aimed Turbulence knocking the cheese steak aside. When her feet touched the ground she was right in front of the girl, between her and the human girl who looked ready to fight as she merged with her demon. Despite her racing heart Sylvia threw out her wings to try and block the girl as she said in a soft sounding but firm voice,[BCOLOR=#000000] "Please, stop this!"[/BCOLOR]

Will didn't know what to say or think. He didn't know these people that were helping him and a part of him didn't want to. He was always nervous, nervous that people who helped him had secret motives that would involve him getting hurt in the end. It had happened before and he wouldn't put it past anyone to do it to him again. Whether these people really knew who he was however that had yet to be seen. But then things got out of hand with two of them getting into an argument that he quite didn't understand. All he knew was that the girl had made fun of the dog and the dog bit her and now the girl was crying.

Will felt bad for the girl and wasting no time walked over to her and gently knelt down beside her. He gently set his hand on her back and gave it a small rub "hey..it's alright..you don't need to cry. Cmon I'll go by you some lunch whatever you want. I owe you a lunch for ruining your last one anyways." He stood up and glanced at the others and then back down at his feet before he spoke again "I kinda owe you all for helping me..so..if you want I'll buy everyone a lunch. I really don't mind it's my way of saying thanks." No sooner had he said that did the voice in the back of his mind come back to taunt him "Why do you trust these people? why do you allow them to get close to you? you should destroy them all before they get the chance to hurt you..show them what you really are. Show them the power that hides within you!" Will gave a quick shake of his head to get the voice to leave him alone before he turned his gaze back to Erin. He gave her a small smile and offered her his hand to help her stand up. "cmon..let's go get some lunch now"

Lyle sat upon the foot of his bed silently taking puff from the cig he had lit just a few moments ago. Sighing, the teen got up and looked out the window of his dorm. Only to see all the students talking, being social, something Lyle wasn't know for. He himself didn't mind being social, no it wasn't him, others just found Lyle a little to much to talk to. But sometimes he wouldn't really care.
"You gonna actually go outside and do something today?"

"i'm thinking about it..."
He then grabbed his pistols and placed them between his pants and lower back, then threw on his coat over it all, without losing the cancer stick in his mouth. Most of his day was wasted any ways due to the fact that he never does show up for class unless he's actually interested in learning something. It made him wonder how he's still alive to after all the shit he's been through.
"fuck it lets go" was what Lyle said before his shadow demon took on the form of the ashen haired kid's shadow, to not cause attention while in the public. Sure demons were the usual here at horizon, but he hates being asked about his demon, always feels like hes being interviewed.

Lyle found himself outside, one cigarette in his mouth and both hands in his pockets. He noticed some girl crying, and an angel trying to comfort her. He figured he'd start somewhere. He walked up to the angel, ignoring the rest of the group, and stopped a couple feet away from him and took the cigarette out of his mouth. exhaling the smoke from his nostrils, and tapping the ash off the end. "is the chick okay?" He asked nonchalantly asking about the crying girl.

Meat!

As a dog would chase a disk thrown to him, Erin leapt into the air, tongue flailing in the breeze. It seemed to move so slowly. It was glorious. It gleamed in the sunlight. It's grease soaked bread which encased the tender, savory meat which warmed that melty cheese... It was what she needed.

She landed on the floor on all fours, the sandwich safely contained in her teeth. And then she sat down cross-legged, and happily munched on her godsend. It was all she needed. It was over in a matter of seconds. She instantly felt happy again. Her burning aura dissipated, and the heavy air around her let up. She seemed to shine almost.

Will had agreed to buy her lunch. Despite just eating, some more food wouldn't hurt. It'd probably calm her even more. Another kid came by asking about her, to make sure she was alright

"Gaaaaaah. Whew! Yeah I'm fine! Sorry about that! I tend to get a bit cranky when I'm hungry. Hehe... But uh.. Will... If you wouldn't mind, A bit more food wouldn't hurt... All that drama made me reaaaally hungry."

She turned to Will

"Ya know Will? I meant it when I said I liked you. You're a pretty cool guy. Sorry for not really talking to you. But I'm gonna change that. We should hang out more, if ya let me, Kay?

She laughed. But not the murderous, bloodthirsty laugh that she had been. It was light hearted, and care free. This was what she really was. And how she liked to be. So, she takes her food very seriously for this very reason. It'd be best not to forget that, and maybe keep a snack or fifty on you.

"The following students please come to the Briefing Room immediately. You have been selected to participate in a special operation..."

An announcement rang out across the campus. The soft voice of Samuel had a strange commanding feel to it. Those who heard felt compelled to listen. He began listing off students. Perhaps a hundred or so. However, that was only a portion of the attendance at the academy. Though for our heroes, that did not matter as he called...

"Yosuke Kirigawa..."

"...William Hawk..."

"Monica Farez..."

Whether or not they knew each other, they shared a common bond...

"...Gabe Lane..."

"Lyle Heeley..."

"Sean Grant"

"...Beate Acker"

hey would see more, learn more, and do more than any being should ever have to do.

"Erin Lynna"

"Xapham Manakel..."

"Lucas Ryeoung-Hwa Yoo, My that's a mouthful..."

Destiny or duty, it doesn't matter.

"Ayako Kamiya..."

"Yukimo Medalion."

They would rise to the occasion.

"...Juliette Seymour."

Through the trials set before them. The blood that would be shed. The tears that would be spent. The love that would be given. The friendships that would be made. And the Lives that would be lost...

"...Harmony Golding..."

It was only the beginning... And they would see it to it's final chapters.

End of Prologue

Sean felt the boy pull away from his grasp. Not feeling up to another argument or scuffle he didn't resist and kept walking to an empty field. The field was only a short walk away, so he had gotten there fairly quickly. Near this field a makeshift shack sat next to the wall of the dorm building. It was oddly out of place and heavily chained. The rusty brown and lime colors from the sheet metal and dark wood saturated with water and tainted by fire only added to the oddity of it next to the clean brightly colored building.

Sean approached this shack searching around in his pocket while he moved forward. By the time he reached the shack he had pulled out a single key and unlocked the lock keeping the ominous black chains held to the rigid box. As soon as he did they dispersed in flame. He watched as they went up and then the announcements went off. Samuel, head of Aether was talking so Sean payed him no mind and continued to pull out a large machine from the shack onto the field. The machine had a barrel large enough for a fist to fit and a basket big enough to hold Edispu. It was in fact a big, bulky, blue pitching machine.

Sean positioned this machine where he wanted it and turned it on. Balls began to shoot out rapidly and Sean ran ahead of them swatting them back with Soul Reaper. His swings were only aided by his own strength at first, but soon the machine's old switch flipped itself up a notch and Sean began using soul fire to aid his swings. It was around now the names to familiar, but unnamed faces started being called out. Sean started to drift from the situation paying attention to Samuel's words. However, as he lowered his bat the balls still came and rammed him in the side. He stood back up and spun the bat generating an aura of soul fire around the barrel of the bat. When the balls were just within reach he slammed three flaming balls back into the machine clogging it and causing the barrel to implode while malfunctioning the machine.

Sean stared at the mess rubbing the back of his neck. "Jeez..." His name was then called out and he spun around toward the dorm. "I better wake him up." Sean walked away from the field spinning the bat generating an aura of soul fire and letting it disperse each time he finished one whole spin, he left his mess where it was. No need to hide the broken machine. Reaching the dorm he walked down the hall of the second floor to his room and stomped before the door. "Edispu! Get up!"

The demon was quick to awake and respond. "I heard." The sounds of metal clicking could be heard beyond the door and echoed in the quiet hallway. Edispu walked out of the room holding a colt and tossed it to Sean who grabbed it instinctively. As he started to walk ahead he stopped smelling the boy. "You playing ball?" Sean nodded. Edispu pointed his index toward the kid and walked away. Sean was puzzled and chased after him.

"What is it?"

"It's the damn dog that resurrected me. That's what. This is why I hate animals."

"Huh."

"Ignore it. A human couldn't smell it." Sean had realized what he was referring to and shoved the weapon in his pocket. Edispu noticed immediately and elbowed him. "Take it out of your pocket. You can suit up at the debriefing." Sean did so, but questioned the use of the weapon as he was not accustomed to firearms. "Your handle on my power is bewildering. You should be able to generate projectiles with that gun. Now, shut up would you? I just woke up to the sound of an angel telling me to die for you."

"The feeling is mutual."

"Glad you understand."

The pair eventually found themselves in a large room among numerous other students. Some Sean had met and fought with and others new and fresh. Edispu found himself a seat on his skull while Sean leaned against a wall tempted to sit on the floor, but knew it was unprofessional and would draw too much attention.

"Fuck. Finally..." Wesley said as he heard his full name being called. He was longing for some action... Or literally anything to do. School could get pretty boring without stuff to do. True fact. He stood up from his seat and popped one of his earbuds back in. He hummed along to the tune and walked up to Erin. "Hey food sociopath sniper. We got ourselves a job." Wesley had given her a snack every now and then to stay on her good side. But he wasn't sure she even knew his name. He gave her a wink to let her know he was kidding. he wasn't about to actually call someone a sociopath. Still though he liked to be playful with people he knew.

He kinda knew Erin fairly well... But not well enough. He knew enough about her to not get himself a bullet hole or two. He walked out of the cafeteria and to the briefing room. it wasn't too long of a walk, but it took an entire song to get there. Wesley cracked his knuckles before going into the briefing room. Usually they didn't call specific students unless it was of utmost urgency. Hopefully the world wasn't coming to an end.

[17 | Single | Human | Briefing Room | @Everyone]

A young women with waist length blonde hair stood among the other students. Her light green eyes were focused only on Samuel and Lukas despite the feeling of being stared at by others. Then again, with one Demon Chimera on your head and a different strange Demon in your arms, it's no surprise others were staring. Watching as the mic was handed to Lukas and her eyes lit up. Juliette admired Sir Lukas and wanted to be like him. As she listened to what he said, she could feel the aura of things getting tense and uneasy. However, Juliette was used to this from the other four times. When he paused during his speech, a smirk appeared on Juliette's lips and she watched as a group of people left. She chuckled a little to herself, finding it amusing that the aura of things had suddenly become so tense when Sir Lukas' eyes become cold and he narrowed them during his little pause. Even she had been intimidated despite seeing that look numerous times. Once finishing what he had to say, the mic was once again in Samuel's hands and the aura of things calmed. Although she already knew the rules, Juliette still listened with interest, all while her eyes were scanning her surroundings. She saw many interesting characters and had a feeling things would only get more amusing. Good. I could use this cheer while being here. She thought to herself, though her blank expression showed nothing. Indeed, this year was going to be interesting.

Juliette entwined her fingers and stretched her arms over her body, as though reaching for the Heavens above. Lowering her arms, a soft sigh escaped the soft lips of the girl and she looked down at the furballs who looked up at her from her feet. "Hungry?" She asked. "Yes! Let's get some food!" Called out a boyish voice from the Chimera. "Indeed. I could go for some food myself." Responded a soft girlish voice from the Kirin. With a slight chuckled, Juliette nodded and raised her head forward. "Come on then." She told them as she continued on her way. As expected, it was crowded with people. With her blank expression and beauty, Juliette was watched by many as she walked over to the mob and stood behind it. "Make way you pigs! Miss Juliette Seymour needs food after practicing long and hard!" Anzu yelled, causing many to look back at her and the small Demons. The guys who liked her and girls who admired her made a path for her and Juliette walked pass with her eyes forward. However, she was well aware of the glares from those who disliked, and even hated her. Upon reaching the front, Juliette grabbed a tray and held it out for the older lady who served them. "One salad, an apple, 2% milk, and yogurt please." The lady placed the things as Juliette spoke and once she finished, Juliette smiled. "Thank you." She bowed her head then turned and a path was created before her. Mentally sighing, Juliette walked through and continued before stopping at a table. Sitting down, Juliette slid one of her daggers out and used it to cut the apple in half. After pocketing her dagger, she gave half to Anzu and half to Aida. The two ate happily beside her and Juliette began eating her salad.

Once she finished, Juliette dumped her tray and walked up to the older women who served her with no problem. Only because everyone in the crowd from earlier had gotten what they wanted. "Here." She said with her usual soft voice as she handed the rather clean tray to the women. After receiving a thank you, Juliette turned and walked off towards her dorm so she could relax. After a few minutes, she entered her dorm room and walked over to her bed. Aida shut the door and Anzu locked it before they followed Juliette. Flopping down on her bed, Juli slipped into sleep and her Demons stood watcg beside her.

"The following students please come to the Briefing Room immediately. You have beeb selected to participate in a special operation."

Juliette awoke aftet a while of sleeping and yawned widely. Sitting up, she listened to the kind voice of Samuel through the speakets. He called names, one by one anf Juliette listened closely.

"...Juliette Seymour."

Without a moments hesitation, she leaped off the bed and walked over to the door. Anzu flew by her side, hovering between her and Aida. After unlocking the door, Juliette exited the room and locked the door behind her. With a straight back, Juliette looked dead ahead and walked down the long hallways and staircases. Reaching the bottom, she walked towards the doors and exited the building. Once she was out, Juli continued through the campus, into the school, down the hall, and stopped outside a door. Glancing down at her Demons, Juliette winked then reached out opened the door. Pushing it open, she entered into the room that already seemed to have a few students. After closing the door behind her, Juliette took a seat and her Demons sat on her lap. Special operation? This should be fun.

[17 | Single | Angel | Briefing Room | @Everyone]

Among the crowd of people who stood before the stage, there was a young women with waist length pink hair and deep blue eyes. But the thing that really stood out were the large feathery wings folded neatly on her back . She could feel stares from other people and would look over and smile and whoever was staring at her. She'd either be smiled at or someone would wave back, but they'd all most likely be surprised. Then again, if you'd been here for five years like she had, you'd realize that Harmony was a much friendlier person than the others. She was interrupted by the familiar kind voice of Samuel and turned her attention to him. Although she had listened to the same things be said four times before, Harmony still listened with interest. She had to be a role model for the newcomers after all. As usual, the mic was handed to Lukas and he spoke about what would happen. The usual tense and uneasy aura rose into the air when Lukas stopped to narrow his cold eyes, before continuing. Glancing to the back, she saw a group of students exit through the gates and head back. What a pity. She thought before turning her attention back to Samuel who had the mic once again. She listened as he went over the rules for several minutes and once he finished, she immediately darter into the air with the basket of rose petals she'd been holding and flew around throwing them over the students. "Congrats newcomers!" She called from above. Feeling the stare of Samuel, Harmony turned her gaze to him and flashed a smile. This year should be an interesting one indeed.

~~~~Six Months Later~~~~
After another long day of classes, Harmony did a few squats then continued on her way towards the food bar. On her way there, Harmony's followers walked up to her and she signed some things for them. After having a chat with them, Harmony waved bye and made her way to the food bar. However, she was disappointed by the look of things. People were crowding and it was a huge mess. Sighing softly, Harmony rose into the air and took a deep breath. "SILENCE!" She yelled loudly, gaining everyone's attention. Crossing her arms over her chest, Harmony looked down at them mob with her disapproving stare. "Create a line stretching out away from the food bar." She commanded. Although people complained, they also listened and things were in order. Smiling happily, Harmony fluttered down onto the ground. Turning, she was about to walk to the back of the line when a nearby man grabbed her arm and pulled her in front of him. Now in the front of the line, Harmony thanked the man for his kindness then walked over to the older women with a tray. "I'd like a bagel, water, and a granola bar, please." The women handed Harmony back her tray filled with what she asked for. After a quick thank you, she turned and sat with a group of fans.
Once she finished her food, Harmony excused herself and returned the tray to the women. The line had become far shorter and things had gone quicker. Feeling content, Harmony called goodbye to her group then made her way to the dorms. Once inside the building, she greeted the man behind the counter then continued up the stairs and down hallways. After a short bit, she entered her dorm and shut the door. Once that was done, Harmony walked over to her bookshelf and grabbed a book she had been reading. Sitting in her chair, Harmony opened it up to the page she last left off on and silently read.
"The following students please come to the Briefing Room immediately. You have been selected to participate in a special operation..."
Harmony raised her head and stared at the wall when the announcement started. Special operation? Sounds fun. She thought to herself, a smile playing at her lips. Listening to the names, Harmony silently waited for hers to be called. After all, everyone here knew she was great fighter.
"...Harmony Golding..."
Saving her page, Harmony closed the book and set it on her desk. Sighing softly, she stood up from her seat and walked over to the door. Once out of her dorm, she shut and locked her door before continuing. Walking down hallways and staircases, she eventually made her way to the last floor and saw the man behind the counter give her as thumbs up. Flashing him a smile, Harmony exited the building and made her way to the school. On her way there, she was surrounded by fans and conversed with them all. Upon reaching the school though, they departed and Harmony made her way inside. Another hallway to walk down then turned and stopped outside a door. Smiling, Harmony opened the door and pushed it open and she entered. Some students were already there, was the first thing Harmony noticed as she closed the door behind her. Walking over to a chair, she took a seat and waited to be told about this special operation.
As instructed by the Angel, our heroes made their way to the debriefing room. Outside the room, they were split into different squads of four to five students.
Each was given a debriefing from each case by Lukas and Samuel. Each group was done separately
Squad 9...
Yosuke Kirigawa
Monica Farez
Harmony Golding
And Lucas Yoo
A strange blend this group is indeed. Two of its members almost seem to have lost their mind. They are cold, hard and analytical. The other two are their exact counterparts. Kind, and seeking to tend to those around them. This balance however, should be able to keep them cool under pressure
"Alright. You guys are heading to Loxdon. Got that? There you'll be transport to an abandoned mine."
"You see this mine's resources were depleted years ago. But for some reason, it seems like there has been recent activity."
"People can hear machinery operating in the dead of night. Strange voices calling out from the mines, and the occasional explosion or cave in. "
"We suspect demonic activity. I need you guys to investigate."
Squad 16...
Erin Lynna
Will Hawk
Xapham Manakel
Sean Grant
Ayako Kamiya
There is much that could happen in this group. So much has already occurred between most of them. And the fun seeking Ardent is bound to conflict with the serious Boar. Not to mention the ongoing flame burning between the Ardent and the Reaper... This will take some self control and willpower to keep this group together.
"Several cargo runners have disappeared after heading to one town in particular."
"We've sent troops to check the road to the town, but the road has proven to be clear of demonic activity."
"However, on the most recent recon, we observed the area closest to town."
"Music. What seemed to be a fiddle was heard off in the distance. The town seemed eerily quiet as well. Something is not right there. Check it out."
Squad 21
Beate Acker
Juliet Seymour
Gabe Lane
Lyle Heeley
Here there will need to be some support. Unless those here are willing to hold another member up, they will fall. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. However, that link can be reinforced.
"Water is perhaps our most vital resource."
"However, in Fort Bismark, one of their major reservoirs, a lake not far from there, seems to have been contaminated, and they can not purify it for some reason."
"They have managed up until now to deliver water from different sources all throughout the zone. However, they at this rate, they will quickly run out of water for at least half the zone."
"Head to Fort Bismark. Found the source of the contamination and eliminate it."
Thus concluded the debriefing. They would set out tomorrow.
----------------------The Next Day-----------------------
All preparations had been made. The squads had been sent to their intended zones, and were about to be transported to the investigation site.
After the announcement Lyle had taken the cigarette out of his mouth and dropped it to the ground, crushing it under his boots.
"man I've been waiting for something like this to happen, see you guys there then." He said before walking off to the briefing room.
______________________the next day______________________
The ashen hair teen stood at the location he was told to be at, waiting for the rest of his team to show up. Under his jacket was his duel pistols as well as several magazines incase he was to change clips. He massive sword was on his back, clipped on by leather straps that were attached to his jacket. "This is going to be a drag, were looking for a fucking source of contamination in a water reservoir? That could just be a plant of some sort, no demon or jack shit to fight. Just when thought I could test some of my new skills" Lyle sighed putting both hands behind his head. "At least were leaving the campus, you'll get to see some new places, and maybe you'll meet some new people." His shadow demon said, this time taking the form of a humanoid flat on the ground, its white eyes glowing bright, connecting to Lyle's feet.
"People? Don't you know I hate people? Unless its some attractive chick, I could care less, man I thought you knew me better?" The teen scoffed looking down at the shadow. "apparently not... by the way, hope we aren't paired with that lady who we saw yesterday crying, I dunno if you remember her, but she's the crazy one on this campus Likes to cause trouble I guess, reminds me of yo-" "me? I'm not crazy, am I?"
"of course you aren't, you're just really idiotic, and crazy"
"thanks..."
Wesley was kind of unhappy but also happy with his squad. he had sniper chick and will. Sean was okay... His demon was cooler though. Whoever Ayako was... Wesley was unsure. They'd last. Hopefully. he had someone to as out when he got back. He sighed as he heard his mission. To find the source of a fucking fiddle noise?! There could be a god damn step dancing thing going on... but Luka didn't call things for no reason and as far as Wesley knew, Samuel was a pretty hardened guy as well. So he should trust them. However this would mean having camp out at night. There wasn't going to be demons fiddling during the afternoon... They weren't stupid... Maybe. Hopefully they were...
This would be nice. he wanted to know Erin and Will better and talking with Sean might be cool. Hell knows what Ayako would be like. Maybe they'd get along... they'd have until sundown to get along... If no one was going to... then Wesley was just going to read. He decided he go and pester Erin. "Hey Snipes, we're in the same squad... promise me you won't shoot the back of my head?" he gave her an awkward smile. He wasn't being serious... He was just poking fun. he'd pack some extra food in case she got hungry...
