Character Signups and Out of Character Discussion Threads
- There is no limit to how many characters a participant may play at once.
- It is allowed for a player to ignore a player controlled character to focus on another one of their characters so long as it makes sense to the plot (i.e.they aren't in the middle of a plot that the character is already of an important role).
- The character skeleton I am about to provide is just to showcase the preferred information. There is no specific format to the skeleton you present to the group, and it is okay to add as much additional information as you'd like to.
- ORIGIN AND BACK STORY ARE 100% OPTIONAL. One of the single player and character arc options is to write out an origin story, either one on one with myself or another player, or through the multiplayer game play. You do not need to include your origin story.
- Until I'm told otherwise, missions will be posted here for writers to claim. There will be a separate In Character thread for missions to actually take place in. I will be including an example of the mission format along with my two main characters below.
- In a player vs player scenario, until we work out a better system (whether is be dice and stat or another mechanic) players must discuss the fight and outcome with each other prior to the end of the exchange. Any player who goes against this rule and god modes themselves to victory will face consequences which I have not come up with yet. Please don't break this rule, I don't want to have to enact any consequences on anyone.
- There is no dedicated face claim style. You can use real, anime, cartoon, sketched, whatever you want to use. You can use a preexisting superheroes' super suit as yours, as long as the character is still original for you. You can also pick through articles of clothing and such to build a suit.
- Keep the superpowers street level. We aren't cosmic entities who can manipulate the space/time continuum.
- This thread is for both single player and multiplayer oriented characters. Underneath your character's name, I'm going to have to require you to specify if it's a single player or a multiplayer [or both] oriented character. It is allowed for a player to participate in both a single player and a multiplayer at once. Specifying what you're looking for helps both myself and others know what you're looking for with your character
. - Have fun, cause some [In Character] drama, overcome obstacles and most of all, have fun.

Telekinetic | Martial Arts Expert
Before taking up the helm of Anarchy, Nicole Santiago had graduated the George Washington University studying Applied Forensics in their Forensic Psychology program. She worked part time as a bar tender, and was a frequent at her local MMA gym. With her deadly focus and ability to truly apply herself to any study, she had attended all of the martial arts classes they had held and made space in her brain for a myriad of different styles of martial arts. It's not fair to call her brain an encyclopedia, but Nicole has an index of knowledge around self defense and attack styles. Her biggest problem with applying her knowledge of hand-to-hand combat is that trying to blend the moves into combination attacks and defenses. She trains as often as she possibly can to overcome that struggle.
Now complete with her own custom costume, Anarchy was completely born. After a raid on a drug house belonging to some street level gang, said to have knowledge on her brother's location, The Night Watcher intervened. He didn't brandish her a threat to the city, instead finding himself curious about her story. Listening to what she said, and taking in the knowledge that same gang she had just went after was luring and kidnapping innocent people to work in their drug manufacturing shops, The Night Watcher decided to help her. Together, the two of them had broken the gang's drug manufacturing operation from the inside, taking out both the workshops and incapacitating the dealers that they sent out to sell the product. Nicole had gotten her brother back with the help of The Night Watcher, and the two of them had decided they work fairly well as a team. The Night Watcher convinced her to keep the mask on, because what the city needed was more heroes. They have been known to team up quite frequently, taking on any and all issues that the two need help with.

Superhuman Strength | Master strategist
Beating the 'brains over brawn' stereotype, Conner had always been considered strong. Mentally he had survived his mother's losing stint with cancer and his father's pain killer addiction, having to care for his younger brothers and his father from a young age, and physically he had been increasingly more muscular than the other kids. He was mentally and physically strong, which lead to him playing football through high school. He acted as the starting middle linebacker, backup strong safety, and could play any position on the defensive line. He was able to play for three years, until he made a tackle that nearly left his target paralyzed by accident. Looking for a new niche, Conner took his love for rock n' roll and started exploring heavy metal, which eventually lead to him forming a locally successful heavy metal band. He never ended up going to college or university, but instead works part time selling games of mini-put on a golf course. He was just scraping by, and couldn't be happier with his life. He had reached his own personal level of success, and nothing could ever bring him down from his high.
That high got even higher in the form of a revelation. As he was crossing the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge in his dad's old 1989 Ford Crown Victoria after an out of state show with his band, he found himself in the middle of a life threatening situation. At 14:00 hours the night before, an experimental government battle suit had been stolen from a top secret military testing island in the north-east of the Atlantic Ocean. That suit was quickly found; Conner watched it land on the middle of the bridge and start firing it's high tech weaponry, destroying cars, portions of the bridge, and killing hundreds in less than five minutes. Realizing he couldn't just sit there and watch people get slaughtered, but didn't know what he could do to stop it. With his fight or flight instinct kicking in, he rushed to combat the suit. He realized how strong he was after he managed to take out the suit's rocket launchers, getting behind his target. His brain took over his body, causing him to throw a car at the launchers. It was as if someone else had taken over his body and caused him to move, but he would later decide that it was just his mind showing him his true capabilities.
Now aware that his strength is much more than just good genetics, and with a stolen piece of high tech experimental equipment on the loose, Conner fastened the helm of The Night Watcher. He didn't blame himself for the suit escaping after their fight on the bridge, but he knew that he had to do something about it. He was aware of the fact that this had to have come from some sort of military base, and that in order to steal from the base, it was more than a one man operation.
After searching the streets for answers, looking for illegal weapons trades or someone who can offer him any information, The Night Watcher had come across Anarchy in her battle against the street gang. He helped her break the gang down, but was still left without his answers. He managed to eventually tap into a military radio frequency and kept notes of everything he was hearing. He didn't have an exact location of where the island was, but he found out that the military had fashioned a small army of those suits. He couldn't take any immediate action, but what he was able to do was start preparing for the inevitable. Every illegal weapons dealer he busted was forced to hand his weapons over to The Night Watcher in order to avoid having to deal with the police; an offer that most of the dealers accepted.
With his own personal armory prepared in his basement (which operated as his own personal Batcave), he decided that all he could do was wait for the inevitable. Instead of becoming idol and just waiting for something to happen, he continued to watch the streets at night. He knew that there were others like him, both wearing a mask and not wearing a mask. Conner knew that he would have to find them, he knew that he was going to need to assemble a team in order to fight these suits that were bound to get stolen at some point. After talking it over with Anarchy, the two decided that they needed to openly search for gifted people in order to put together that life saving team, the fate of the city depended on it. Conner's biggest fear was that Washington wasn't the sole target, but the world as we know it.
Robbery at the First National Bank
Players Required: 2-4
Four vans have been spotted outside of the First National Bank. Twelve targets have been spotted, they are heavily armed and dangerous. They have been seen with a large bag that we expect to contain some sort of drilling mechanism in order to get into the vault. We don't have any confirmation about hostages or the state that they are in. There are two escape doors; one near the back of the building, and one at the side. The bank has multiple floors, and it is quite possible that there's access to the roof. Extreme caution is needed for this one.
