"Arizona...?" Alistair asked, looking a little taken aback. "That's a little far. Me? I'm from around here. Grew up here. Why're you all the way out here?"
 
"Because my dad lost his job, and he got offered one here then he took it,"She smiled, it was nice talking to someone who seemed to understand her.
 
Alistair nodded. "I se--GHKH?!!"

The boy grunted as he was tackled by Carter, who came bolting out of the building.

"AAAAL~!! I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO DIE!" He yelled.
 
Skyler jumped out of her seat and smiled. She walked away not disturbing them.
 
The next day, Alistair was leaning against the wall of the school entrance, waiting for everyone to file out when he spotted Skyler in the midst of the kids getting their things and leaving. He straightened up and waited for her to come by.

"Hey uh...sorry about yesterday..."
 
"No, it's okay, It's just I am a bit shy when it comes to talking to a crowd you know what I mean,"she replied smiling at Alistair.
