"Thanks." Ansel mutters. "I think you're right, let's just wait on the ship. There's nothing worth doing here, after all."

Shadow nodded before making his way onto the ship, leaving the others physically but subtly attempting to keep track of the conversation through the shadows.

ESP, medium: shadows

Sek pauses as you three walk off. Moments later he catches up to you all. The group walks about until they reach port 37-T to where Sek says,

"Ah, now here is my pride, joy, and to a certain extent, my home away from...well I would say 'home' but truth be told, I kinda live here anyway."

You see several security droids and personnel standing in key places all over the ship's docking area. Sek walks you three to the inside of the ship.

"Let me give you the tour guys! This what you see here is called a seemingly meaningless empty room. But it's in case some one comes in and tries to steal the ship. which reminds me..."
He looks away to speak to the wall, "Computer, recognize new sentients and allow them level 3 clearance."
A red light where Sek was looking at turns blue and makes a soft 'bloom'
He looks back to the group continuing the tour, "If the computer doesn't recognize some one coming without my permission, it'll *achem* 'disable' any intruders. So if any one wants to invite some one on the ship, you'll need me to clear it K?"

Without taking breath, or giving any of you to time to answer him, Sek continues talking and taking you to the elevator.
"I spent quite a fortune trying to get the system to recognize the exact fine details of you're 'Physiological Structures' of any one coming in. The elevator can fit roughly 5 people kind of tightly though."

He takes you all into the elevator. Sek keeps bouncing in excitement As the elevator moves. "Surprisingly the Elevator was the hardest part in building this ship. Long story short, I mixed up 'Propulsion' and 'Repulsion', I was 12 at the time. Don't judge me."

As all three of you ponder the details of that story, Sek takes a deep breath and the elevator doors opens. He continues,

"On your left you'll see the Tech-Bay, basically where I keep my tools. Next to that is the gun bay, a manual turret. If we get into a fire fight, I'll need some one to get on that gun. Same as the one on the other side. On the left side near the gun, is a...trophy room. I know its empty, but I had the extra space. Next to that is my room, to the forward is the cockpit. Next to that is gonna be my Grandma's room, next to that is empty rooms, then a lounge, the other gun bay I mentioned before, another set of extra empty rooms, and back there is the Engine Room."

Sek takes you back into the elevator and without taking a breath STILL, continues, "Funnily enough the hardest part of this ship was the elevator- wait, I just told that story...still, when building the ship a kid had a fairly easy time making A.I. and only the elevator gave him any real trouble."

The elevator opens again under a second of Sek's sentence finishing. When he keeps talking you all wonder how long he can keep going until he needs to breath.

"Behind us is another lounge, to the right are two Escape pods, extra storage. In front of us is an observation deck, don't worry the glass is roughly almost as tough as the hull itself. To the right is the dinning hall and there is a computer room."

Sek takes even deeper breath than before. It's almost as if he was underwater for all that time.

After he stops busting a gut, he says, "So...any...questions...?"

Shadow
The conversation between Captain Martin & Mrs. Blake does not talk about anything to substantial. Mostly bureaucracy between leaders in the Power's Academy. You do get some council member names of members who are getting away with plenty of things.

Frough - Forcing new members to go through rigorous training exercises just because he dislikes Captain Martin's medical plans about other heroes who became sick and or injured over missions

Uiob - Belives Magical & ethereal should be different words with different meanings.

Bidemices - Wants to raise taxes on all planets under there rule, because his wife wants to afford a giants house.

Basically plenty of political nonsense.

Shadow was quiet throughout the tour, memorizing the layout of the ship while directing the rest of his attention towards the conversation between Mrs. Blake and the Captain.

"Just one. Where do I go to sleep?" Ansel had seemed bored and uninterested through the entire tour- Probably because he was. Technology held no interest for the man.

"Wow, this is very impressive Sek.."

The Crinis was intrigued. Not at the tech, but at Sek. In order to find out more, he prodded the boy for more information about the ship. How he made it, how long it took, what special features it has, what game him the idea for this gizmo, what is the purpose of that contraption, etc. He would keep this up until either the boy got bored, or Mrs. Blake came back.

Sek gave a chuckle and told Ansel, "Down stairs, on the right when you come out of the elevator. In each cabin there is a refresher, encase you're hungry or thirsty! It's all processed, so it'll be a little bland."

When Aach-Ti asked about the ship, Sek let loose and talked the Crinis's ear off. When in the conversation, Aach-Ti could tell that Sek was incredibly thrilled that some one took interest in his ship. He went on for hours and hours and hours.

Shadow continues his silence as he continues to study the conversations of Mrs. Blake and Captain Martin. A few minutes after the tour ended, the Shadow's understanding of the conversation was dulled. He figured out that some one was attempting blocking magical and telepathic communication inside and outside of the room she was in.

The strange thing was that the security attempting to force you out was incredibly weak to what you where subjected to earlier. To a laughable degree almost, considering you where fully nullified only half an hour ago by a common security drone. You hear the same political nonsense as before but less coherient seeing as how your trying to work through the weirdly lax security. You do hear of a being called, Arcane Master Dorth who seemed overly aggressive to Mrs. Blake especially. you could tell that he loathed her.

A matter of hours later, Mrs. Blake was escorted back to the ship by Captain Martin. Sek stops talking to Aach-Ti and runs down to Mrs. Blake and C.P. "Grama is here!!!" Every one hears Sek rush to the lower deck.

Shadow vanished, rematerializing downstairs with the other three.

Ansel went downstairs immediately, and laid down in one of the beds. He wasn't tired, but there was nothing else obviously worth doing.

Mrs. Blake is welcomed by Sek, Shadow, Aach-Ti, while Ansel takes a nap.

"Hello young-ins! I'm sorry I had such a delay, but politics is a battle that never ends." She greets the group with a smile on her face.
"Are we ready to go Sek?"
"Just about, I gotta check a few things though!"

Sek ran off to the cockpit, leaving Captain Martin to say, "I am still against this mission, but I wont stop you. Just remember, if you run to any trouble, don't hesitate-"
Mrs. Blake interrupted, "To contact you if we run into trouble. Don't worry, we'll be fine."

Over the intercom you hear Sek's voice, "Engines running on full fuel, artificial gravity, food processor units, all of them are good, bar a few minor systems, all we need now is for Mr. Star to get here."

Shadow's ears perked up at the mention of the new name, and he decided to test an idea. "Mr. Star?" he asked in his mind, attempting to direct his thoughts towards Aach-Ti.

Using his mind, Aach-Ti attempts to read the surface thoughts about Mr. Star on Mrs. Blake, then Sek if he did not recognize the name,

Knowledge Current Events on Mr. Star.
If he has information, he wont bother with the Telepathy Check vs their Will Save.

You remember the name Mr. Star. He is an incredibly wealthy inventor of weapons. You know him for his research on Electrical stimulation on the body, making normal humans much more physically capable. You're perplexed as to why Sek expects him on the ship.

You get no response. You suspect he is not paying your mind and thought.

After receiving the information he transmits it to Shadow.

Move the freakin game along already!

Shadow stored the information away in his memory. He settled back minutely, also taking note of the fact that thoughts could be broadcasted, in a way, to the Crinid.

Seriously. We don't all want to be waiting on Calvin.

As Captain Martin nods to the group and leaves, the door opens for him, and you hear a voice, "Sek my favorite customer! How is the Ship!"
He walked in and your eyes had to adjust to the color of his armor. "Oh, sorry about that, here let me fix that."
His armor's colors became less bright and you can look at him normally.

Mr. Star turned to Mrs. Blake, "Ah you lovely, Misters Blake, I must thank you for all of your faith into your son's invention!"
"Oh it has been my pleasure."
How are the wife and kids? He replies with, "Amazing! My son however left the family name though..."
Mr. Star and Mrs. Blake continue their conversation as they make their way to the observation deck.

As they walk, Sek says over the intercom, "Ok every one, strap in your seatbelts, seriously though, strap in."
Aach-Ti & Shadow Also make their way to the observation deck and strapped in.

"I'm so sorry about Jonathon. How has he been doing?" Mr. Star gave a slight sigh, "He did go to the academy and I visited him while he was here, but he wouldn't talk to me."

As Sek raised the ship, the artificial gravity kept you from stumbling over. Sek kept mumbling things about the take off sequence. Soon after the ship left the station. The deep void of space filled with stars and other systems greeted the party.
Sek starts talking to the crew, "Taking off in 5...4...3...2...1...BLAST OFF!!!"
As the ship flies off into light speed, you here a solid "Thump!" from the 2nd floor bellow.

Sek soon comes up the lift and says, "Sweet, now as soon as the auto pilot stops, we'll be entering Montressis's atmosphere. Which brings me to the question to what exactly we'll be doing when we get there...?"

Mrs. Blake begins, "From what I have gathered, the farming based planet Montressis was recently sacked by a highly coordinated band of pirates, loosly translated they're named, 'The last band of Freedom'. We need to find this band of ruffians and find out who they are working for."
Mr. Star speaks up, "So how do you want us to go find them, it isn't like we can tell security to find them for us."
Mistress Blake gestures to Aach-Ti & Shadow, "That is why they are here."

Ansel, You wake from you slumber by falling out of bed MUCH harder then normal. You land on your arm, and it is sore.

As Mr. Star entered the ship, Shadow did what he could to take as information in about him as he could, exercising his skills. He took note of his appearance, his equipment, his mannerisms, his posture, his small habits, everything he was able to, should he need to fight him in the future, or perhaps if he needed the man to do something at some point.

After they took off, Shadow glanced lazily in the direction of the noise. He assumed that it was probably caused by the one passenger who HADN'T been strapped in. Judging by the sound of the impact and the size of the passenger, he would probably be fine. He then returned his attention to studying the newcomer.

Undeterred, Ansel picked himself off the floor, and resumed his place in the bunk. It didn't seem like they were at their destination yet, and there was, as far as he knew, nothing important to do in the meantime.

Mr. Star was slightly startled by Ansel's thumping, "What in the name of the twenty seven moons of Alco was that?" Sek smiles a bit and starts to introduce the crew explaining what he knows about the party, but not before saying, "This should only take a few minutes, so we wont be getting to conferrable.
He left the room chatting away.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Blake turns to Aach-Ti & Shadow, "Now when you get on the planet I need you to head to a *ahem* adult club called, 'Xzitoma' Thats where I was informed to start searching."

Your technological knowledge isn't able to tell exactly what is on Mr. Star's armor, however you do know that he is well known for miking personalized weapons, over WMDs. You can tell that his armor is made for taking damage, rather than delivering. The weak points that you can see mostly revolve around the joints.
(You have gained a plus 1 for fighting enemies in Power Armor!
