SHADOWCLAN

Had he been any more impatient than usual, he might have leapt off of the highbranch and snapped some kind of bone. However, he slipped himself down the trunk of the tree, paws landing into a puddle of water on the landing. He lifted a paw up, flicking muddy water to and fro.
"Seriously.. How do RiverClan cats deal with water so often?.."
The male mumbled, ear twitching as he watched the other cats around him chat and eat together- perhaps it was better that it was so quiet, right?

Inkylotus
《Inkylotus》
The daylight sun trickled in through the bramble thicket that encased that of sand underpaw. The ground smooth with dried pine needles and a sweet scent trickled out of a small clove that held the many tools at the paws of the medicine cat. Mossy nests laid about in the sandy clearing and were thankfully empty; it was always a good day when cats were not sick or injured for once. The den though wasn't completely empty as a cat moved about the den with such precise movements and grace that it was like he had been there his whole life. Which fact of the matter he quite literally was.

The medicine den had become a home to him more so than the nursery was when he was a kit. Being born without eyeballs but with sockets; he often was in the den in hopes they could do something to help him. Though it was all in good faith, it was useless to say the least. No amount of juniper pulp, yarrow leaves or even catnip could bring him the gift of sight.

An inky black shape moved about the den like he could physically see the ground before him. Wiggling through the thicket entrance that lead out to the clearing of the camp. Hearing fellow clanmates talking to one another, smell of fresh prey being shared and a particular scent caught his nose. Hearing the soft thud of paws on water, and followed by that of making fun of Riverclan. Inkylotus then approached the tomcat known as Jaggedstar and started with, "Good morning, Jaggedstar, and I swear those Riverclan are part fish at this point,"

Lonestep

He/Him | 23 Moons | Camp

Apprentice: None | Mate: None | Kits: None

"You're only in trouble if you get caught."

The dappled rays of sunlight swept languidly across the forest floor, mottling Lonestep's dark coat as he stepped lightly amongst fallen pine needles and twisted roots. Each brush of his paws over the brittling spindles released the comforting smell of pine to the brown tom's nose, a gentle reminder that this lush forest had quickly grown to be his home. A thought that alway managed to bring a lackadaisical grin to his face. That and the promise of another day of perfectly innocent pranks and camaraderie. The hefty splash of a ThunderClan apprentice squeaking like a kit into the stream had been music to Lonestep's ears. And Lonestep couldn't be blamed, the temptation was too much for his benevolent heart to bear when he spotted the young cat standing just a tad too close to the water's edge.

Smirking, Lonestep slipped easily through the entrance to camp, greeted by the sight of his clan mulling about. He found a spot where the sun wasn't marred by the tall pines and allowed the rays to soak into his coat as he set about cleaning the wet earth from between his paws. An ear cocked at the sound of a disgruntled mumble, a mischievous grin on his face. "Careful Jaggedstar, if Inkylotus is correct, you won't be far behind." The amusement glittering in his amber eyes. The tom regarded the Medicine Cat for a moment, stretching out his spine before rolling onto his side. "You look positively radiant this morning, Inkylotus—did we have pleasant dreams?" He purred, tail flicking.

She woke up at her nest inside the medicine cat's den, as she opened her eyes she noticed that the den was empty her mentor Inkylotus seemed to be already out. Her mentor being up before her was nothing new, she seemed to be a very early riser unlike her, who liked to sleep, more the better. Stretching her legs, she shook her fur, before she made her leave outside of the den, watching around she didn't need to look for long before finding her mentor talking there with the leader.
Her eyes wandered to the fresh-kill pile, which had some of the last evening's kills, pretty frozen, unfresh prey, but better than nothing, especially now before the hunting patrols go out to hunt fresher prey. She made her way toward the pile, greeting the cats she walked past with, and picked out a shrew, taking it a little bit further away to eat.

Yawning the multicolored tom, walked out of the warrior's den almost bumping into his sister Marigoldgaze who was cleaning herself near the den's entrance "oh sorry sis..." he meowed with a little smile on his face. He waved his tail as he walked further into the center of the camp, his eyes looking toward the fresh-kill pile for a moment, but so far any of the preys didn't really catch his eyes or his stomach.
Sitting down he made a better look around him, seeing the leader talking with the medicine cat there, and plenty of others chatting with each other. Only one cat he was was actually looking for didn't catch into his eyes was the deputy Weepingpool, the pretty she-cat usually organized the patrols so that's why he waited for her to arrive.

She was left the warrior's den earlier and just sat there enjoying the fresh air and cleaning her fur before someone bumped into her "...watch it..." she hissed but calmed down when noticed that it was only her brother Indigoskies. As the tom apologies her she made a quick nod, watching after him for a moment when he made his way toward the center of the camp.
