Amber is a sassy and rebellious girl. She never gives up, even in the face of death. She likes to mess with people and will usually tease others. She is a loyal friend and protects those she holds close to her. She is someone others can trust and rely on, especially in times of need. She never goes back on her word and is very stubborn. She is patient with everyone but if you make her angry, annoyed, or upset she won't hesitate to snap. And through all this Amber is still gentle, kind, caring, and loving. She does hold grudges though so don't be surprised if she holds it over your head for a while.

History:
When Amber was fewer than two years old, she was involved in a car accident. By the time anyone had noticed the accident it had been 6 hours. During the 6 hours Amber's slowly died from internal bleeding while her mother watched. Her mother was traumatized by the event and became very frail and was hurt easily. This resulted in Amber becoming protective over her mother. Nine years later, Amber was traumatized after she attempted to protect her mother during a robbery in a postal office, and ended up killing the robber with his own gun. As a result she developed an intense fear of guns. She was bullied in middle school because of this but they moved when she finished middle school and moved here. Amber intends to keep her history a secret because she does not want to be bullied again.

She has always been one to finish what she starts and get done what she needs to so she can do what she wants. AJ is a very determined girl and has been for a while. She cares about a lot of things, especially animals and the people she loves and she's very stubborn. She is perceived as very confident, while in reality she is rather insecure about herself. History:
Alex came from a very crazy family with two sisters, a step-sister and a biological sister, one mom named Katherine and three dads named Joseph, Matthew and Ron. (Joseph and Matthew are homosexual). Her biological father Matthew married her mother at a young age to appease his family who did not know about his sexuality. He and her mother Katherine divorced after Alexa and her younger sister were born. AJ came out to her parents at the age of 13 and was often teased at school for liking girls. At a young age, she was molested and raped by her uncle, leading to her trust issues and cautiousness around men. During her second semester of 8th grade, she was admitted into the hospitals psychiatric center for attempting suicide. Considering that she was in an abusive relationship for a year and a half, she feels like she is incapable of being loved and feels like it was her fault that her ex-girlfriend abused her.

Personality: Luke is a outgoing person in sports. He can be shy at times, especially when he doesn't know you, it can take a while for him to open up to others. Luke is very secretive and hates people who pry, he will tell you things when he is ready to. A lot of the time he keeps to himself, many people think he is the silent won of the group, as he mostly contemplates others and their actions. Though he keeps to himself a lot, many get the sense of him being warm and inviting, leading to them being friends in the long run.

History: Luke was born to John and Cathy Williamson, local political heads. He grew up with many privileges, he learned to play polo and mastered it when he was young, mastered the violin by the age of 13, knows his way around a bow and arrow, and learned to handle his powers. By the age of 16, his parents were both killed in a freak car accident, and he was orphaned. Being the only child, he had no where to turn to and was immediately placed into a foster home, losing all his privileges and learned the importance of work. He was told that he was lucky to be fostered at his age, and with his attitude, but in reality he wasn't lucky at all as they abused him, and in return he froze their heart, and ripped them out of their chests. Seeing this his social worker, Jason, adopted him, they shared similar powers. Luke was shocked to see this and felt like he found his second home. Jason soon enrolled him in Helsing High, and Luke as never felt better.

Once conversation is initiated, he proves to be a lightheartedly sarcastic joker, one with a dark brand of humor that straddles the line between offensive and funny. Being introverted doesn't mean he's antisocial, it mainly just means he prefers a close circle of really good friends than an enormous web of acquaintances. He's also got a bit of a rebel in him, and has no issue breaking rules he doesn't agree with when it suits him. These things, combined with his nature as a Lich means that he's not willing to take shit from anyone, even when he should. He's famous for having cussed out an upperclassman who promptly mauled Ryan to as close to death as he could get without destroying his phlyactery. Oh, yeah, he's got a foul mouth on him.

History: Ryan comes from a distinct line of sorcerers, but despite being incredibly gifted, he's far from the prodigal son. In fact, he's something of a black sheep. Unlike most of his family, who are mostly either Abjurators (those who practice warding and healing magic) or Geomancers, (earth mages) Ryan is a Necromancer who's dabbled in the mental magics of illusion and enchanting. He knows a little of his family's Magic as well, but not much. Ryan is adept in his chosen fields, and his nature as a Lich gives him a lot of mystic power to throw around, though he lacks finesse. (See "Talents for more)
As Ryan says of his origin, "You don't get to be a Lich by selling cookies and going to church on Sundays. It takes an inherent hatred for the natural order of things, and no small amount of blood, magic, and willpower. A disapproving family of magi is recommended, but not required." Ryan's cause to give up his humanity for Lichdom is a closely guarded secret, as is just how he achieved it, though not so secret that he wouldn't tell someone close to him, such as a close friend or lover, or, as he put it to the curious teacher, "C'mon, buy a guy a drink first...actually, make that a lot of drinks. And strong ones."

His body will age...to a point. After he reaches about 25, his body will age about 1/100 of its normal rate. Even then, the effects of aging are reduced, and he will continue to function with the same efficiency as a 25 year old even when he's aged himself into a skeleton.
As for his more active abilities, Ryan has a few...
Drain: By coming into contact with a living creature in possession of a soul, Ryan can drain their soul away; however, this technique takes centuries to master, and Ryan's been a Lich for only a little more than half a decade. At present, Ryan would be unable to take the soul of anyone of consequence, such as the other Player Characters, school staff, or even a larger than average human. Possessing a person's soul grants Ryan total control over their thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Necromancy: Ryan can control the dead, to a limited extent. The more undead he controls, the less control he gets over individual undead. While he could potentially control upwards of a couple thousand, they'd be acting almost entirely independently, aside from a simple goal, such as "kill target x" or "break x thing." Without Ryan's intelligence to guide them, even the best undead aren't very skilled or effective at a given task. As a result, Ryan's effective maximum before he begins to lose individual control is three. At thirty, he can direct them into small groups and order individual undead to preform tasks like opening doors. At 100, he loses individual control completely, but can command the horde as a whole with relative finesse. After 150, it's as if he was giving directions over the phone to the whole group. There's lag between thought and action, and while he could make the horde do something such as control where groups stood, or where they entered a building from, non basic commands are impossible. He could have them enter through a window, but not enter quietly, for example. After 200, he can barely direct the general flow of the horde, but is at his lowest level of control. Additionally, a being of power equal or superior to Ryan's could potentially break free of his control, and turn against him. This would prevent him from taking over any of the vampires at the academy, or from resurrecting Van Helsing to murder his enemies.

She is an emotional roller coaster at times and has been known to get into fist fights on a regular basis, but she's got a good heart and can't stand sitting back while something she doesn't agree with goes on. History:
Jezebel's mother was one for the books. A drug, sex, and just about everything else addict, the woman should have never been allowed to have children. But Amber Jean ended up pregnant late in life for an unknown man and somehow gave birth to a healthy girl. Jezebel grew up feeling anything but loved, usually left to fend for herself while mother entertained whatever man was in her life at the moment or left her alone for hours on end to earn the money she needed to support her habits. At fourteen one of her mother's suitors offered her drugs and slapped her when she refused. Furious, Jezebel's powers flared and flames consumed the man and the rest of the small home she and her mother shared. Luckily, perhaps, her mother wasn't at home when the incident occurred. Devastated, the woman threw her daughter out after seeing what became of their home. Jezebel feared homelessness but just as she set out into the city to find a shelter, her father appeared, having sensed her powers awakening. The sophisticated man explained that Jezebel bore the fiery blood of an old God and had inherited the necessary gene to basically provide immortality and mastery over flame. Jezebel moved in with her father and began learning to control her abilities. She began attending school soon after and has been there ever since.

History:
Jezebel's mother was one for the books. A drug, sex, and just about everything else addict, the woman should have never been allowed to have children. But Amber Jean ended up pregnant late in life for an unknown man and somehow gave birth to a healthy girl. Jezebel grew up feeling anything but loved, usually left to fend for herself while mother entertained whatever man was in her life at the moment or left her alone for hours on end to earn the money she needed to support her habits. At fourteen one of her mother's suitors offered her drugs and slapped her when she refused. Furious, Jezebel's powers flared and flames consumed the man and the rest of the small home she and her mother shared. Luckily, perhaps, her mother wasn't at home when the incident occurred. Devastated, the woman threw her daughter out after seeing what became of their home. Jezebel feared homelessness but just as she set out into the city to find a shelter, her father appeared, having sensed her powers awakening. The sophisticated man explained that Jezebel bore the fiery blood of an old God and had inherited the necessary gene to basically provide immortality and mastery over flame. Jezebel moved in with her father and began learning to control her abilities. She began attending school soon after and has been there ever since.

~History~
Airelyn grew up in a very peaceful household, surrounded by support and love (from her mother at least). Her mom was a hippie, so she was often around nature and loves being outdoors. Her father was a businessman and a drunk who often beat Airelyn and her mother. Ever since she was about 7, Airelyn was in love with swimming and everything else that had to do with water. When she was 12, her mother got a divorce from her father, which was a relief to Airelyn. At a young age, Jessica knew what her sexuality was. She was comfortable with it and accepted it and she was always happy and friendly, but was always afraid to come out to her parents. She had never been close to her father to begin with, since he often verbally abused Jessica and her mother and was always a crazy religious man, but she was close with her mother and wasn't afraid of sharing with her. She first told her mother she was lesbian, and her mother had in fact begged Jessica not to tell her father. For a while, she hid the secret well. She even had a few relationships and everything was fine for a while. Till one day while she was in middle school she slipped up and her father found out. The man was in denial about this to a point where he tried convincing her she was heterosexual and just confused to extreme point. Her father even started sexually abusing her in attempts to show her she was just confused. Terified of her father, Jessica completely changed her personality. She had become cold and rude, doing all she could to avoid her father and men. She had cut off all her hair, changed her style of dress and pierced herself as well as tattooed a bunch in hopes that her father would find her body repulsive. She even began starving herself. One day, at a party she had discovered her powers. She was about to hook up with a girl, but when she had kissed the girl she had seen a horrific image of a car crash that would kill the girl. Jessica assumed it had been drugs, but the next day the news had shown the car crash and the image of the girl who died. Jessica had began stressing for weeks, having cut herself off from the outside world and quit eating completely and eventually suffered a mental breakdown where she had told her mother about her father. The two moved away while her father had been arrested. Currently, Jessica is still distant to men and refuses to speak of her past.
