Give me a moment.

Figured it out, I thought that the info for the RP was gone, but it's in "Overview." If it is available for you guys.

Niiice. Now, all we absolutely need is someone to fill the role of Seras, a Nemo-esqe character, and The Major.

How would a Nemo work, exactly? He's a normal human, unless you wanted him to be like Yumi. On another note, Hellsing already supplies advanced tech and weapons, and we're in the late 20th century as is. What would Nemo bring to the table?

True, unless someone has a Nemo with alien technology.

That could work. But alas, whoever wants to make a Nemo character, it will be their decision.

Could've sworn @GodsBlueLaser has seras covered. And I thought you were changing oc's from Ryder to Echo which would make the roster require an agent Tom Sawyer-esqe character and of course the major along with the rest of the cast for millennium.

Oh, right. Thank you for reminding me, Victor. We do also need a Tom Sawyer-esqe character as well. As for GodsBlueLaser, they couldn't stay due to personal reasons. For Millennium, we can easily take on some of the cast ourselves if no-one else decides to take them.

Nice. @Songs

Appearance:
Invisible Assassin.jpg

Name:
Mateus Aguia

Codename:
Invisible Man

Faction:
Hellsing (formerly Millennium)

Age:
29

Height:
6'2"

Weight:
178 lbs.

Abilities:
  1. Invisibility: Being unseen on a spectral and physical plane. Only supernatural creatures of extreme power (such as Alucard or The Captain) can actually see him, since his invisibility is permanent.
  2. Phase Shifting: Shifts the density of his body, allowing him to phase through most objects.
  3. Tactile Telekinesis: While most wouldn't assume that someone whose primary trait is invisibility would be particularly strong, Mateus' condition does more than just hide him from the eye. Since the serum used on him affects him on the spiritual plane as well as the physical, he gained a certain degree of supernatural powers, including the emission of a telekinetic field around his body. With it, he can augment his already athletic strength to the levels of a fledgling vampire such as Seras Victoria.
  4. Above Average Physical Abilities: Even without his supernatural skills, his forced training as The Doctor's personal "grim reaper" has put him in excellent physical condition.

Disabilities:
  1. Invisibility: For obvious reasons, there are some disadvantages to being invisible. Few people ever truly trust you, as you can be anywhere and everywhere without their knowing. Furthermore, it makes taking a piss hell.
  2. Silver: While virtually invulnerable to most all attacks by mortal weapons, Mateus is susceptible to pure silver. However, the degree of purity is important. The standard rounds used by a Hellsing agent such as Alucard include Mercury in them. Because of this, they'd have a limited effect on Mateus, perhaps the equivalent of a bruising punch. However, pure silver slugs would leave a hole.

Weapons:
  • Silver blade-tonfa.
  • Assorted silver-treated knives.
  • P226 Sig Sauer handgun, purified Macedonian silver tracer rounds.
  • ParaCam Bodysuit: A Millennium invention, modified by Hellsing, the ParaCam suit acts as a jumpsuit, combat harness, and amplifier for Mateus's invisibility. It allows him to be seen, but at the same time can turn invisible at his whim.
Personality:
Having been raised by monsters like The Major and The Doctor and having the same blood as Jack Griffin, the original Invisible Man, issues in social skills and attitude immediately come into question. His own genetic heritage leaves him with an innate sense of narcissism, though his is more tolerable than his ancestor's (while Jack Griffin thought to become the terror of all England, Mateus merely believes himself to be God's gift to women). His upbringing has left him emotionally scarred, never having had any true friends beyond the equally freakish Schrödinger. As well, he was eternally surrounded by a band of immortal sadists who found no greater pleasure than in tormenting the innocent boy on their airship. That being said, he too finds pleasure in verbally and emotionally torturing his companions, and takes a good deal of satisfaction in cutting his enemies to death. Fortunately, Millennium's uniquely Nazi ideology never found its way into Mateus's heart; he doesn't hate Jews, blacks, gays, or Muslims. He despises everyone equally, envying them for their soft lives, never having needed to truly struggle for what they want. This hatred extends to irrational depths. Starvation? Should have killed your neighbor for the food. Poverty? Should have stolen the money you needed. Got caught? You weren't fast enough. Ultimately, Mateus feels uncomfortable with anyone outside of Millennium. Despite knowing what they did to him was wrong, he'd never known anything outside of the black and red zeppelins, and his sudden freedom left him truly alone. In Hellsing, he sees only a pale replacement for the life he once had. The life he has since come to regret leaving.

In summary: he's a sociopath, narcissist, sadist, and despises everyone in the world to the point of literal murderous rage. His state of discomfort with other people makes him socially awkward, and the only people he doesn't feel uncomfortable around are those who've truly struggled for their position, and the very people whom he despises most of all.

Backstory:
Once upon a time, an English medical student developed a serum to make himself invisible to the naked eye. Initially awestruck by his discovery, he quickly realized the horror of his situation. Reduced to stealing money to reverse his situation, his experiments lead nowhere. Hopeless and enraged, he descended into madness and determined to use his curse to terrorize England. On the way, he was betrayed by his two visible associates, one Dr. Kemp and the thief Thomas Marvel. He was inevitably lynched by the inhabitants of a village, where his powers finally dissipated. But that's another story.

The story of Mateus Aguia begins in Portugal, where his great-grandmother met the albino Jack Griffin, a medical student on vacation from England. She fell in love with him, and eventually bore him a child. However, before they could be married, Griffin left to pursue his studies back in his homeland. Abandoned, she was shunned by her family and forced out of her village. From there, she managed to escape prejudice to Brazil, where she survived several revolutions with her daughter before her death. The daughter, Sousa, and her child, Maria, managed to survive even longer until the birth of Mateus, Maria's son. At the age of 10, Mateus was stolen from his home by Millennium soldiers. His mother and grandmother were promptly executed. Once in Millennium's custody, Mateus met The Doctor for the first time, as well as the most improbably alive man on earth: The hundred-year old Thomas Marvel. After having betrayed Jack Griffin to the authorities, the thief had stolen his notes on the invisibility serum, but found them impossible to comprehend. Using money he had stolen years prior, Marvel had sought out experts to read the notes for him. After 40 years, he found The Doctor in Nazi Germany, who managed to interpret the truth behind Jack Griffin's miracle: Using black magic and science, he'd managed to turn himself into a form of ghost, invisible to the eye and supernaturally powerful. Because he was inexperienced with his abilities, Griffin never learned to use the full extent of his power. With this information, Marvel demanded that the procedure be performed on him. However, it proved unsuccessful. Further research revealed that Griffin's father had been involved with English occultists, that the money he had had been earned through dark magic; magic that ended his life when his own son stole it from him. Because of his connection to the occult, the Griffin family forever more were changed on a fundamental level. The procedure that Jack had performed only worked as well as it did because of this. Enraged, Marvel nearly killed The Doctor before it was discovered that Jack had left a child behind. Marvel was given prototype clockwork modifications to prolong his life, prototypes that eventually led to the complete conversion of The Major into a clockwork man. However, Maria and Mateus had been long-since immersed in Brazilian society, and the Griffin name forgotten. Only by sheer luck did Marvel find the boy, seeing something of his ancestor in the child.

With the right bloodline in their hands, Millennium successfully recreated Jack Griffin's experiment, using dark rituals and malevolent science. Mateus was turned into the Second Invisible Man, and from there was brutally experimented upon to bring out the full extent of his abilities. At 15, Mateus became The Doctor's personal enforcer, assassinating troublesome officers and dealing with the insubordinate humans that served as the crew of the zeppelins. He nearly made it into the Werewolves division before escaping confinement at the age of 27, critically injuring Rip van Winkle, repeatedly killing Schrödinger, and managing to engage Zorin Blitz before being forced out by all three. (Whether or not he could have successfully defeated any of the three is unknown for a number of factors, as all three were present and could have attacked him simultaneously, and he was focused more on escape rather than murder) From there, Mateus escaped to Brasilia, where he hid in the expansive shanty town surrounding the main city. At age 29, he was recruited into the Hellsing Organization, where he finally took on the name of his ancestor: The Invisible Man.

Location:
The shanty town surrounding the federal capital of Brasilia, Brazil.

Kroenen. Yeah. It took me an ungodly amount of time to find the perfect pic for an Invisible Man until I got the idea for ParaCam. Then it fit perfectly. The Invisible Man would have to be fast, since physically he's not like Alucard or Father Anderson, and even in a supernatural sense he doesn't have the sheer force of Seras Victoria or Zorin Blitz. His weapons would be smaller, but still deadly. His entire persona would revolve around the unseen. Kroenen fit perfectly, but because he wasn't invisible it didn't make sense. Then I thought of Solid Snakes OctoCamo, which was virtually invisibility in and of itself. I combined the two concepts, and boom! Mateus Aguia.

I honestly love Metal Gear, from plot twists and tear jerkers.
