So, this is my first time on this site, but I've been roleplaying for over three years, so I think I can say that I'm a pretty good writer at this point.
Four things you're gonna pick up about me pretty quick:
1: I can switch between super serious and super silly in a heartbeat. If I seem silly, it's because I want to be silly; if I can't quite seem to reach the stick jammed so far up my ass I'm belching wood chips, it's either because I'm in a bad mood or because I'm trying to look at things from a purely logical point of view.
2: Know that I mean no harm. I sometimes say offensive things without meaning them. I apologize in advance if I do so; I've been told that I'm not always the best at reading the situation.
3: I have little patience or tolerance for those incapable of reading or writing at pre-college level. I tend to automatically assume that people who claim to have reading or learning disabilities are making excuses for not wanting or attempting to get better. If I'm roleplaying, I want to RP with people at or around my own writing level.
4: I have been told that I can occasionally be a bit of a control freak when I'm the person directing a roleplay. I try to keep that to a minimum, but I can honestly say that I do tend to get a bit controlling if people are dragging their feet in a scene or failing a spot check.
5: How do I count?
I would like to repeat that I am both a super silly and super serious person, so expect me to jump back and forth. It brings me great joy to have people sigh loudly, hold their head, and say "God damn it, Rikka!" in an annoyed tone with a faint smile on their face. To that end, I have prepared numerous water balloons filled with Viagra and paint. Do not force my hand, plebian. I-I'll use them, I swear. Don't think I won't do it!
When I roleplay, I typically use OCs with art stolen from Pixiv-- I mean, art I definitely made myself and is totally not stolen from swd3e2 in most cases.
But yeah, I use OCs. My profile picture is of my favorite one. Depending on the type of RP, I'll custom-tailor one OC that's already made up the way I like it to fit into the world. To reiterate - I have rough, bare drafts of characters already written in some cases, and I more or less fill in the blanks to make the character skeleton fleshed out. It's not perfect, so most of the time I sit down and actually write out a good sheet from start to finish.
If you expect smut, know that I'm almost definitely the phreakiest girl you're ever gonna meet, with the weirdest of tastes. You have been warned, normie.
Personal interests generally include gaming and reading books. I'm a homebody, so I don't really enjoy going out all that much. I love a good RPG - primarily JRPGs - and a good book is always welcome. I've actually just finished reading all eleven volumes of the Overlord light novel, and anxiously await Volume 12 in two months. Final Fantasy, Persona, the Trails series and the Tales series are all preferred game series for me, though I have more that I like. In particular, the Tales series sticks out for me and always has a place in my heart, with the Trails series sitting firmly beside it. I'm also a fan of the Souls series, and beat Dark Souls 3 only a few days ago. Hooray for Dex/Int builds!
As for books... My favorite author is Jim Butcher. I've read The Codex Alera cover to cover three and a half times, and am working on number four. The Dresden Files is a series I've also read to completion, so like Overlord, I'm stuck waiting for the next book to come out. Hurry up, Jim...!
I don't watch much TV, so I can't really say what shows I like. I got a little into Breaking Bad, but I sadly have not finished it. I'm a big fan of RWBY, but that's a web animation, so I don't know if it counts.
Getting back to gaming, I play a lot of MMOs, and have been really into PSO2 lately... Code Vein looks awesome, but it doesn't come out for a year, so that's something else I'm waiting on.
