The Storm Circle

The rats and humans of the Circle were ruled by Djuke Leticia with an iron fist, forced to produce enchanted weapons and tools for her armies. Now, they band together in fearful enclaves around the foundations of towers they hope to build. Unless they find themselves purged.

Eastmarch

The land surrounding Throne, mostly under Imperus' control with a few independent city-states or communes. Extremely valuable farmland, with access to the good fishing on the Sunward Sea.

Shaydensea

A region of distorted space and gravity, unpopulated but for a small encamptment of Hulbrad-sponsored scholars.

The Hell's Teeth Range

The cities in the mountains are well-defended, but undersuppled with food and thronging with refugees.

The Warring States

Kroms and Kaer are currently in an armistice. Some Kaeri Necromancers were enthralled by Leticia, and a detachment of Kromsian blood-priests sided with Imperus.

The Worldcap

The mysterious forest remains inviolate, but it seems to have expanded during the war. The inhabitants didn't get involved in the war.

The North

A scattering of cities formerly subject to Djuke Kali, currently recovering from the war. Expected to confederate.

Trollhaven

Isolationists unwilling to communicate with the warring barbarians of the south.

Southlands

Islands of the Sleeping Sea

Inklake

The former seat of House Hulbrad. Once a sprawling manor in a forest of Ebon Pine, Djuke Kali destroyed it utterly in the last year of the war and left a crater filled with ink in its place. Most of the Hulbrad leadership died in this unprecedented attack. Two members of House Lezek were so affronted by this gross war crime that they fought, and lost, duels with Djuke Kali. The woods and lake remain assets to the House, though no one has found a use for the ink yet.

The Black Rose

An anomalous rock floating near the lower western hemisphere of Shaydensea. Hulbrad Cassius discovered it, was quite taken by it's blossom shape, and was turning it into a 'a winter castle' when a Dellebron Essence Scorpion killed him. His Essence impregnates the whole rock, now, making it especially useful to the House in any large scale working of power. And it seems interesting artifacts lie buried in the dark stone, beyond the comfortable forward base.

It is possible to memorize routes to travel the 'sea on foot, and certain Spawn are useful for the purpose of ferreting out specific paths (quite literally, in the case of Cassius' beloved albino ferret, Veil, which has outlived its creator and may be able to spend a whole year more aiding explorers of the 'sea).

The Midnight Runners

A collection of Invested mortals whose official remit is as a courier service supported by the House. They're also a valuable intelligence resource.

The House Army

The Paper Mill

Located near Inklake, this facility is as simple as its name; it produces paper, vellum, and papyrus. Only ever really used to sell to the Houses or Magi, given the poor literacy rates elsewhere and dry reading material.

House Spawn

Allies

The Cult of Vasnok

Adelbert Odben, Hearwright poet

The city-state (recently declared) of Willoughby, outside the Inklake forest, near the Paper Mill.
