Welcome to Allbrite Town, a peaceful little town nestled in the mountains.
We have just about everything that we need to get by here - a blacksmith, a market, a farm... we even have a flower shop to keep our days bright. This town is located in a beautiful place, however, and negotiations have been warring with a company who hopes to turn the town instead into a tourist resort. It's up to the townspeople to find a way to prevent this, or they will lose their beloved home!
They're not completely alone, however. These uncertain tides seem to have woken the slumbering goddess of the town!

If we combine our powers, surely we'll be able to save our town. Right?

[size=-2]The technology for the town is very minimal. For the most part, there should be no modern technology. Axes to cut down trees, walking on foot, and all of that good stuff. The market gets shipments from a larger town, in frequently. They will carry the Blue feather, required for marriage, when anyone gets to red heart level.

Cheerful and ever optimistic, Theron is a hopeless romantic who rarely lets anyone see him frown. Theron enjoys flowers and he's especially happy when he's tending to the flowers outside of his shop. Slow to anger, he prefers to be left alone when he's annoyed so that no one knows that he's upset.
Brief Biography:
When she was a little boy, Theron lived in the city with his parents. His parents were well off and he lived luxuriously for the first few years of his life. When he was only about seven, however, his parent's house burned down in a fire while he was visiting his grandparents and his parents were killed in this fire.

Theron was raised by her grandparents from there after but they had no access to the money which was his inheritance until Theron turned eighteen so they lived rather sparsely. Despite this, he loved his grandparents very much and they are the reason that he is so cheerful; they taught him that it was healthiest for him to smile and would bring him karmic goodness.

After he turned eighteen, Theron had access to the money but no idea what he wanted to do. At nineteen, his grandparents died close together in a peaceful manner. Though it made him sad, Theron dealt well with their deaths and is at least content that it was their time and that they lived fulfilling lives.

Shortly after their death, Theron decided that he wanted to live in a small town. Since his love had been plants and gardening since he was a young boy, Theron decided to open a shop selling seeds with the money he had from his inheritance and now he spends his day selling what he considers to be a "slice of happiness" to others. Since it's such a small town, he typically sells more vegetable seeds than flower seeds and he grows flowers outside his door for his own pleasure.

Character Name: Prudence Delaney

Character Age: 25

Character Job: Mayor

Character Personality: She could be classified as the "big sister" type. Responsible, hard-working, and authoritative, she has a no-nonsense attitude and a mind for tackling problems. Her weak points are that she can be a little too serious, and that she's stubborn as a mule. Don't get on her bad side.

Brief Biography: Prudence's father was the mayor before her, and she was elected to fill his shoes after he died six years ago. Ever since, she's been doing her best to keep Allbrite Town the self-sufficient, peaceful place it's always been. Pru is dead against selling the town as a resort, and she'll do whatever it takes to stop that from happening.

Having lived in Allbrite all her life, Pru is passingly familiar with everyone in town (by sight, at least). As a child and teenager, she helped out doing odd jobs all over, so she knows a little bit about everything. Her father always taught her that you can't lead until you've walked in the shoes of those you're leading, and Pru took that to heart. Although she enjoyed the rough labor of the farm and ranch, secretly her favorite job was helping out at the flower shop. One of her few feminine traits is a love of flowers. It was always just Pru and her dad; her mother passed away when Pru was very small from a respiratory illness.

Now, Pru spends her days checking in on the various businesses and the farm and horse ranch, keeping everything running smoothly, making sure supplies are available to those who need them, lending a hand when needed. and running interference with the resort company. Unfortunately, she inherited her mother's asthma, and occasionally she has attacks.

Character Appearance: Pru is blond and busty, with amber eyes. She dresses practically rather than formally, despite being the mayor.

Character Personality: Sky is a very laid back kind of guy, though he is very quite. He is strong willed and fiercely loyal to his friends and family. He enjoys nature and loves the mountains. Dusk is his favorite time of day and winter is his favorite season.

Brief Biography: Sky moved to town about four years ago. He left his mother, father, and brother to their farm in the country. On the farm, Sky was responsible for various smithing of tools, horseshoes, and whatever else needed to be made. As long as it was metal, Sky could make it. At the age of 18, he left his family to become a man of his own. He loved the farm, but becoming a farmer was not the life he wanted. He wanted to see nature and meet new people, start a new life. He left his farm duties in his younger brother's care and bid his parents farewell as he thanked them for raising him so well. After moving to Allbrite Town, he started mining ore for himself and eventually made enough tools to open a shop of his own. He moved his forge to the shop and that is where he now constructs tools, jewelry, and other various metal wares for the people of his fair town. He spends his free time hiking in the mountains, enjoying nature, and cooking new dishes. You could say that cooking is a hobby of Sky's and often he trades his work for new ingredients at the market.

Character Personality:

Pensive and cold could be a few words to describe Gaara, his lack of emotion is a frightful characteristic that is hardly missed. Always in a train of thought, his gaze and head staring deep above the clouds-- a rather usual event for anyone who actually knows him. Gaara Seto is the grandson and heir of the Seto Inn, passed down to him after his grandmother's death. He is usually a very organized teen who beneath it all, cares about his fellow neighbors-- even enough to shine a grateful smile.Socializing and first impressions are not his forte, impressive enough he still finds alternatives for his guest. He is rather prone to thinking things over and observing details that others might miss rather than speaking his true thoughts in fear of social shunning. His inn is his sanctum and he takes great pride in it, often decorating and cleaning it's surroundings. In truth he is a great pacifist, who does not believe in violence-- odd enough he is known for having mumbling fits-- a clear sign for when he is angry, although he is a very patient man.

Character Personality:

More than a little bit insecure, Clyde has a difficult time expressing himself and interacting with others. He's easily embarrassed and hides his feelings behind an angry visage. The act isn't difficult to figure out, even Clyde realizes that others probably know he's hiding his true feelings. But he will fight tooth and nail to hide his emotions, even if doing so reveals more than a direct approach.

Secretly he craves social interaction. Clyde wants to have fun, smile, and enjoy the company of others. Invitations to events are seldom refused, although reluctantly accepted. Yet, he cannot trust anyone enough to let his guard down. Surrounded by people, Clyde has to be pried out of his shell before he can have any semblance of fun. If anything goes wrong he becomes immediately embarrassed and defensive. Clyde will often turn to sarcasm, poking fun at the situation, himself, or others while secretly feeling mortified.

But there is some peace within the boy. The Lake of Aegis is his favourite place in the village. He could sit there all day, out in the middle of the water on his boat. There he is alone, focused, serene. On the lake Clyde is more confidant than he is anywhere else. He knows his fish, and hunts with a passion. Protected from prying eyes, Clyde is free to be himself. His mind can be simply be as it would be. If Clyde could discover a way to be as strong on land as he is on the water, he might find the confidence needed to deal with people.

Brief Biography:

Clyde has lived all his life in Allbrite town. He's never been farther than a few of the neighbouring towns. Yet he never did build a rapport with the other locals. As a child he was never particularly social. It wasn't from a lack of wanting to interact with the other children, rather, that he was too shy. Whenever one of the other children would approach him Clyde would run away or hide. If one of his parents were around he'd even go so far as to move behind their legs so no one could see him. This continued up until he was too old for such behaviour and the other kids made fun of him. Clyde got the dubious nick name, ostrich boy, because he didn't always hide particularly well. Because of this, Clyde did eventually grow out of his habit. But he never quite got over his fear of people and instead chose to hide behind a bitter demeanour.

He never did quite learn how to deal with people properly. Clyde always assumed there was some ulterior motive or that people were secretly mocking him. But he did have one friend. Bosco, the old fisherman in the village. The man had been providing the village with fish for years. When Clyde needed someone to talk to, he could always go to Bosco. They would row out into the middle of the lake and spend the entire day fishing, sometimes never speaking a word, sometimes exchanging youthful and elderly wisdom. But Bosco was old, very old, and one day the inevitable happened: he died. Clyde was devastated, as was the village. Without Bosco there would be no local supplier for fish. Someone needed to replace him, but the man's family had long since moved from the village. It was then that Clyde found the ambition and confidence to do something. He had decided, that from that day forward, he would be the towns fisherman. Clyde took over Bosco's old fishing hut and supplies and began starting his new life.

Clyde found love out on that lake. He loved to fish, and he loved the peace. Nothing in his life had brought him such peace. So when he found out someone wanted to come in and replace his serene sanctum with a boisterous tourist attraction, Clyde was furious. But his anger was not enough, and when his statements fell on deaf ears he was discouraged.

Clyde doesn't want to give up, but he feels helpless. He needs the courage to stand up to the board again and show the importance of keeping the lake as it is: a pristine and peaceful paradise.

Character Name: Kaai Moore
Character Age: 24
Character Job: rancher
Character Personality: Reserved, shy, keeps toherself. She will speak if spoken to, otherwise she does not say much, rather talk to her animals than people.
Brief Biography: At birth her future had already been predetermined. Her parents were very strict, borderline CRAZY organized. Everything was done by a schedual. Everyday was preplanned. Kaai was ready to go nuts at the age of 16.


When Kaai met a boy, he stole her heart away. He convinced her to disobey her parents and live carefree. Often she would sneek out her window in the middle of the night to be with the boy. Her parents were too stuck up and organized that their daughter was rebelling.


Kaai was happy with this boy, so happy that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. Once she turned 18, on her birthday, the boy asked her to marry him. She said yes about twenty times in a row. Their love would not last much longer


About two weeks later, Kaai received a call from a hospital. The boy had been in a car accident, only a few blocks away from her house. Why had she not heard sirens? They said it was really bad, he lost too much blood. his car was completely totalled, and it took them a long time to get the boy out of the car. It was wedged under the trailer of a semi-truck. Kaai went to the hospital imediately, but he was already gone by the time she got there.


She cried for weeks straight. Her parents pushed her, to stop crying, get with the schedual they made her everyday. She shook her head and sontinued to weep.


Three weeks had passed, her mother came in, distraut. She started to yell at Kaai to get her ass in gear or else. Kaai had never been yelled at, she stared at her mother bewildered. It did not take her long to snap out of it though. She ran downstairs, grabbed her cars keys, grabbed her purse and left. Never to return.


She fullfilled her dream. She opened a ranch with her college money and told herself she would spend the rest ofher life there.

Character Age: 22

Character Job: Doctor

Character Personality: Spritely and friendly, as the town doctor she finds it wise to keep tabs on all of the people in Allbrite. She can sometimes be a bit pushy and invasive but she always has everyone's health and best interests at heart. Although she's a busybody she's also slightly self-centered, being from the big city she enjoys the finer things in life and frequently imports various wines to keep herself entertained (she will always recommend a nice glass of wine to all of her patients and in fact a nice bottle of wine or grapes are sure fire ways to make her happy.

An unfortunate side effect of her loving her job is that she is always at the clinic, in fact her home being the second floor of the building. She tends to be a bit of a workaholic, spending long hours researching new medicines and tending to even the slightest bump or scrape any of the townspeople may have.

Despite being surrounded by possible disease and medical emergencies Chloe tends to remain upbeat and positive about almost all facets of life. But never get between her and any sort of medical emergency because she will put you in a full body cast after dealing with what she needs to do.

Brief Biography: Chloe grew up in the big city. Fancy luxuries were second nature to her but sometime after finishing up learning how to be a doctor from her father it all became somewhat stale. She longed for change, for fresh air, for open skies and warm small-knit communities. So at the young age of 18 she began to wander about from town to town, settling for a bit and helping out the local clinic before packing up and moving on again.

Just a year ago she wandered into Allbrite and met with the resident doctor who was elderly and tired of being out in the middle of nowhere. She offered to take over his job as the resident doctor and he could move somewhere else and be happy. He gladly accepted the trade and stayed for just half a year to help get her acquainted with Allbrite. Chloe's things had soon been moved into a newly renovated (but still keeping with the town aesthetic) clinic just off the main square after he left. She hasn't had much interaction with the residents since the previous doctor had mostly done that but now she was finally settled and ready to help anyone that came her way.

Character Name: Chet Orvos

Character Age: 24

Character Job: Herbalist

Character Personality: Chet is friendlier and more personable than his sister (if that's even possible) however where she comes from a place of overzealous and in-your-face; Chet is much more laid back and sweet. He compliments his sister quite well by being more passive and less focused on his work, laid back would be an easy way to describe him. While he does still enjoy some of the luxuries of life like his sister he would much rather have simple things made from the heart.

Chet also loves people who are take-charge and devoted, and then shaking them up and helping them relax. His favorite gifts are simple things, albeit a bit more girly, he enjoys getting flowers but the easiest way to his heart is to bring him the various herbs and grasses that he can use for his job.

One major thing that separates Chet from his sister is that he loves to wander about in nature and explore and can frequently be found out wandering around the lake when he's not working or making medicine for his sister and the other townsfolk.

Brief Biography: Chet grew up alongside his younger sister and learned about lots about medicine from his father, however he was much more prone to exploring out in the wilderness finding herbs to help his father for medicine. When he grew up a little he moved away to school somewhere out of the city and studied to become a wonderful herbologist. A few months after his sister moved into Allbrite he found his way to the city, intending for it to only be a quick stay has morphed into him taking up work for the town. While he lives in the inn he still finds time to spend with his sister and catch up since they hadn't seen each other in years.

Character Name: Philomena (Filly) Rigby

Character Age: 19

Character Job: Farmer. Her dog Pablo looks after the place while she runs errands.

Character Personality: On the grumpy side, and for good reason. Her eccentric parents left Ladybug Farm in her care to go on a second honeymoon. They said they'd only be a week.

It's been six months.

She does all the work by herself, which gives her precious little time for friends or recreation, and she's too young to order anything interesting at the bar. Philomena ends up talking to her flowers, vegetables, and chickens quite a bit. When she does have the chance to talk to people, she can be very blunt and brief, but she's always grateful for a conversation or a good word her way. She's a sweet girl deep down, but she's easily flustered or teased, and she's been known to start swinging her watering can at heads when she gets too overheated. She's not sure how she feels about the tourism company muscling their way in yet; mostly, she just wishes her parents would come home. The lovey-dovey letters are starting to piss her off.

Philomena loves to eat and cook, but she keeps herself trim with all the work she does. Her favorite foods are strawberries, pickles, and salmon cream stew. Grudgingly responds to the nickname Filly.

Brief Biography: Philomena lived in a much bigger town with her folks until shortly after her 15th​ birthday. Her parents have always been the type to make big life decisions in a split second, and one of those was the purchase of Ladybug Farm from its elderly owner after her father retired. Moving to Allbrite Town so abruptly threw Philomena off quite a bit, and she complained accordingly, but she grew to enjoy the nature and the small-town atmosphere… when she wasn't too busy picking turnips and chasing chickens to appreciate it.

On the short side at 5'3'', but she's deceptively strong. She looks a lot like her mother, just younger, and a lot more annoyed.

Character Age: 17

Character Job: Merchant

Character Personality: To the unfamiliar eye, Freya might seem to be a bit crazy. Always talking to inanimate objects, she lights up her father's shop with her bright smile even on the cloudiest of days. However, it might seem like her rays of sunshine reflect off the glass jars lined up on the shelves -- in simple terms, she's a klutz. Whether it's dropping jars, tripping over herself, or pushing things off the counter, Freya just laughs it off and continues her neverending shift at the shop.
Easily excited over just about anything, along with how naive she is, Freya seems like she would be a social butterfly, although, that's not the case. Inside the shop, behind the counter, she's the world's best salesgirl. But the minute she takes off her apron and steps outside the door, her mouth zips closed, and she becomes as shy as a lost puppy.

Brief Biography: Before her parents moved from the city to Allbrite Town, even before Freya was born, they wanted to get away from the "hustle & bustle" of their high classed jobs and live in peace. After a being together for quite some time, they finally decided to get married and settle down-- by eloping to the quiet town. When Freya was born, her mother realized how much she missed the city life, feeling as though her life had been getting no where. By the time Freya grew to the age of seven, her mother had had enough, and moved back to the city, leaving her daughter and husband behind with the small shop they built together. After a few years passed, Freya turned fifteen, and her father felt the same longing to be back in the city. A year later, her father had made arrangements with the nearby town's supplyment manager to continue managing the shop in Allbrite Town from the city. But Freya refused to leave her home, and promised to take care of the shop in their absence. Sensing her strong attatchment, her father passed down the shop's key to his daughter with a kiss, and left to go follow his dream along with his wife. Freya, to this day, continues to write daily letters back and forth with her parents, keeping them updated on the shop's status. Her parents, in return, send her an average amount of allowances to make sure the shop is kept to her liking, and occassionally sends packages of clothing as gifts to match her bright smile.

Looks like everything checks out so far. We should be able to proceed with this fine grouping. I shall hold out hopes for an herbalist but I'll only give that another day. I know we're eager to get going!
I have to update some of the lists still but I have no yet found issue with anyone's characters!
