We actually managed to kill Tiamat last night in our D&D campaign! DM had a real fancy "mini" he borrowed for it. It was a truly epic battle though we did lose the paladin. If it hadn't been for the Cleric we would've TPK'd. It was an amazing night! 3 and a half hours of struggle and it was WORTH IT.

Just found out my daughter might be getting into Algebra next year, which means she could possibly skip 9th grade the year after and go into 10th where she actually belongs. I'm so damn proud of her! It's amazing to see how she used to struggle in school and now she's a straight A student. Now if only I could get her to stop texting me weird memes...
 
I tried out a radically different look today and it went better than I expected.
