February 15, 2558 and unnamed Insurrectionist group bombed the New York, URNA in an attempted to eliminate all personnel within the facility. This resulted in mass civilian casualties; half the security and staff killed in action, and the kidnapping and murder of former UNSC Army Major Hayden R. Nero. The action was immediately ruled as a terrorist act and put the at the top of the threat list. They call themselves The Devil's Harrowed, a mercenary splinter group who's only priority is to command and conquer. They are led by former Marine Corpsman and ODST Gunnery Sergeant Hunter M. Carter, code-name Lucifer, along with his four chosen lieutenants; Death, War, Fury, and Strife.
They have based themselves on an unmarked planet outside of UNSC controlled space, allying themselves with any willing to join them, even securing ex-covenant followers to join their cause. They mainly deal in the black market arms and trafficking, distributing their findings between other Insurrectionist groups increasing their influence. They've managed to operate on a professional level, which brings the need to break the connection between them and their allied powers.
High Command and ONI have decided to dispatch an elite strike team of Headhunters as part of Operation: KINGDOM FALL. The team sent in will consist of eight Spartans total. The Hunters are brought in using a Sahara-class heavy Prowler, on which they meet up with their ONI Contact, Sparrow. They keep in constant communication with the UNSC God of War, a Marathon-class heavy cruiser, in case they need emergency armament or requisitions during the operation. While the Spartans do have protocols to answer to, they have been given full permission to handle the OP freely. The objective is to bring down Lucifer and either cripple, or crush organization by any means necessary.

Weapons:
With the point and time of this RP's setting, all weapons up to the early 2558 are available for use. This means everything from Halo 5 and back are allowed, with certain req weapons needing to be addressed. If you're not sure if it's ok, message the GM immediately. Weapons like Nornfang, The Answer, Whiplash, and so on are weapons that must be addressed; so if you intend on using them be sure to message the GM.
Armor:
Due to the intensity of the operation, the UNSC is deploying your Spartan with state of the art MJOLNIR GEN2 armor. The newly formed Spartan Branch allows personnel to utilize whichever variant of armor a Spartan chooses, between GEN1 or GEN2. If your Spartan were to use a GEN1 armor, it would be open the hybridized versions in order to keep the Spartan within GEN2 standards. They may still use GEN1 armor in it's original state if they so choose, but it will be highly recommended they use GEN2. As a Headhunter, you are also welcome to utilize SPI Armor, MArk I or Mark II. Remember this is your mission, Spartan. And command has given you the reigns o this one.
Keep in mind the advantages and disadvantages of using the armor of choice however. If your Spartan uses SPI Armor, they won't be as physically capable as the other Spartan utilizing GEN1/GEN2 Armor.
Equipment:
Items such as Armor Abilities, Tactical Packages, and Support Upgrades are considered a thing. It's often a misconception that Tact. packages and Support Upgrades were simple gameplay changes, but was soon proven t be actual functions of GEN2 Armor. Armor Abilities are nothing more than devices/armor plug-ins your character can pick up and use, such as the Type-3 active camouflage module, Type-27 Responsive Holographic Form Emulator, Series 12 Single Operator Lift Apparatus, and the M2705 regeneration field. Sprint is considered a general action that all characters can perform. The reason for this exception is because of numerous instances in both the books and games where Spartans are running without use of a sprint module. Misc items such as demolition charges, flashbangs, EMP grenades, napalm grenades, and gas grenades are included in this RP.
Realism:
This RP will hold realistic rules and setting for the Halo universe. Varying enemies means a variety of combat effective issues. The Harrowed have both human and ex-covenant units, meaning virtually anything is possible. Low ranking shielded and non-shielded enemies will succumb instantly to a single head shot from small arms and heavy hitting weapons. High ranking shielded enemies will require three to four direct shots to the head before being opened to damage, whereas non-shielded high ranking enemies need only one well placed shot after firing a series of rounds to remove any head gear protecting the skull. However when using weapons like the SRS99 series sniper rifles, high ranking shielded enemies will need only two shots to the head and only one for non-shielded.

For those not following, this RP is basically about a Headhunter task force consisting of their top class personnel pitted against a ruthless new enemy. The mission is to eliminate Lucifer, either by execution or capture, and cripple or destroy his organization by any means possible. It's a major work in progress, so please feel free to layout feedback.
