I am looking for a small group of like-minded fans that would enjoy making this with me. You can be a SPARTAN-II, III, IV, or an ODST (Cause always could use the gumption of a Helldiver. Plus it would add a 'human element though Spartans are indeed human. Weapons are numerous, ammo will be pick up as you go. Spartan Armor is fully customizable. This takes place before 'Infinity' and between 'Guardians'. Your team is stranded on the Ring World X-ray.

Custom loadout at the start then I will switch you up with weaponry suited to your particular 'class'.

    The SPARTAN-II Program, originally known as the ORION Project Generation II, was part of the SPARTAN program, an effort to produce elite soldiers through mechanical and biological augmentation. The SPARTAN-II program would be the first in the series to meld advanced exoskeleton technology with the soldiers' superior physiques.

    The SPARTAN-II project was conceived by Dr. Catherine Halsey of ONI Section III's Special Projects Division as the successor to the ORION Project and the best possible solution to end the widespread insurgency that raged throughout UNSC space. The project was created with several goals in mind. The first was to create a group of elite soldiers meant to subdue insurrections in their infancy, without substantial military casualties. The second goal was to minimize civilian casualties and avert civil war. The third goal was to substantially reduce the cost of conventional means of pacification.

    Halsey's proposal for the project detailed radical changes in many different fields. The first and most controversial was the subjects themselves, who were selected by a gene-candidate pool, and fit into a certain age restriction protocol (six years old). They also possessed superior physical and mental attributes when compared to other children their age. This narrowed the candidates down to children who would be raised and taught in the art of warfare and military values from a young age, which cannot be taught to older enlisted personnel. Using such questionable means of creating a soldier meant that the project would have to be carried out under the highest levels of secrecy.

    Augmentations


    Carbide Ceramic Ossification: Advanced material grafting onto skeletal structures to make bones virtually unbreakable. Recommended coverage not to exceed 3% total bone mass because of significant white blood cell necrosis. The specific risk for pre-and near-postpubescent adolescents: skeletal growth spurts may cause irreparable bone pulverization.

    Muscular Enhancement Injections: A Protein complex is injected intramuscularly to increase tissue density and decrease lactase recovery time.
    Five percent (5%) of test subjects experience a fatal cardiac volume increase.

    Catalytic Thyroid Implant: A Platinum pellet containing a human growth hormone catalyst is implanted in the thyroid to boost the growth of skeletal and muscle tissues.Rare instances of Elephantiasis. Suppressed sexual drive.

    Occipital Capillary Reversal: Submergence and boosted blood vessel flow beneath the rods and cones of the subject's retina. Produces a marked visual perception increase.

    Retinal rejection and detachment. Permanent blindness.

    Superconducting Fibrification of Neural Dendrites: Alteration of bioelectrical nerve transduction to shielded electronic transduction. 300% increase in subject reflexes. Anecdotal evidence of a marked increase in intelligence, memory, and creativity. Significant instances of Parkinson's Disease and Fletcher's Syndrome.​

    Project CHRYSANTHEMUM was the codename given to the biological augmentation procedures performed on the SPARTAN-III supersoldiers. They represented a significant improvement over the augmentations used in the previous SPARTAN-II program, retaining the procedures' effectiveness but being safer and less invasive to perform.

    The CHRYSANTHEMUM bioaugmentation set improved upon the augmentations of the SPARTAN-II program, pioneered by Dr. Catherine Halsey. With advances in technology, the casualty rate for SPARTAN-III candidates was usually 0%, as opposed to the 56% casualty rate of the SPARTAN-IIs. Most of the SPARTAN-IIIs' augmentations were chemically induced instead of surgically implanted like many of the SPARTAN-II enhancements.

    The schedule of the SPARTAN-III program was accelerated from that of the Spartan-IIs: because the Office of Naval Intelligence wanted to have the Spartans deployed in the field as rapidly as possible, by the time of Gamma Company the Spartan-IIIs were augmented at an average age of twelve, whereas the Spartan-IIs were fourteen during their augmentations. As puberty had not yet started for the majority of candidates at this time, they were given human growth hormone as well as cartilage, muscle, and bone supplements added into their food over several months to artificially induce the onset of puberty. As a result, the candidates had the bodies of near-adult Olympic athletes at an average of only twelve years of age, and it took some time for them to acclimatize to their larger physiques.

    AUGMENTATIONS

    8942-LQ99: "Carbide ceramic ossification catalyst" drug. Skeletons become virtually unbreakable, allowing survival in harder impacts.

    88005-MX77: "Fibroid muscular protein complex" drug. Increased density of individuals' muscles, greatly enhancing physical strength.

    88947-OP24: "Retina-inversion stabilizer" drug. Color sharpness is significantly improved upon, and night vision is heightened.

    87556-UD61: "Improved colloidal neural disunification solution" drug. Greatly improves the individual's reaction time, decreasing the time taken to react by 300%; "Spartan time".

    In addition to their chemically-administered primary augmentations, Spartan-IIIs were subjected to a number of surgical alterations to enhance their capabilities. Their circulatory systems were also augmented from the human baseline. Like all UNSC Armed Forces personnel, the Spartan-IIIs are implanted with a neural interface.

    The augmentations also involved some degree of genetic modification. As discovered in 2548 with Owen-B096, this made the Spartans immune to the negative genetic effects of some Forerunner artifacts.

    In addition to the standard set of chemicals, Kurt Ambrose covertly had a set of three additional drugs added to the augmentations of Gamma Company in hopes of increasing their survivability in the field. All of the three had been outlawed by the UNSC Medical Corps in 2513.

    009762-OO: Neural-altering non-carcinogenic mutagen: Alters key regions in the individual's frontal lobe to enhance aggressive response, making the animal part of the brain more accessible in times of stress. This allows the subject access to enormous reserves of strength and endurance and enables them to remain fighting even under the influence of a wide systemic shock that would be instantly fatal to a normal human. Depresses higher reason centers of the brain over time; requires regular doses of 009127-PX and 009927-DG to be taken to avoid uncontrollable aggression.

    The SPARTAN-IV Program is the fourth generation of the SPARTAN Program consisting of members recruited from the UNSC's military who were augmented to be capable of wearing a new variant of the Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor (GEN2) armor. This phase was initiated by Admiral Margaret Parangosky after the Human-Covenant war.

    Similar to the original ORION Project, the SPARTAN-IV Program would only consist of adult volunteers as opposed to young children.[2] When the program was started, surviving members of previous Spartan generations were offered an opportunity to be integrated into it.[4] SPARTAN-IV recruits are drawn from active combat veterans of any branch as well as young soldiers who show potential to be Humanity's next guardians. The physical augmentations of the SPARTAN-IVs, while more advanced than their predecessors, still cannot produce similar results without the risk of a high failure rate, due to the lack of genetic requirements. This drawback is reconciled by modifying the individual to the closest margin possible of the two previous Spartan programs' physical results and then relying on Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor (GEN2) armor to enhance the Spartan's abilities even more than that of Mjolnir GEN1 armor.

    Project ORCHID is the codename for the SPARTAN-IV Augmentation Program, a set of biochemical and surgical augmentation procedures performed on the Spartan-IV supersoldiers. Because of practical necessities arising from the SPARTAN-IV program's return to the ORION Project's recruitment protocols—namely, the use of adults as candidates—as well as advances in technology, the fourth-generation augmentation set differs considerably from the procedures used in the SPARTAN-II and SPARTAN-III programs. While the SPARTAN-IV augmentations enhance the subjects' strength and speed, the improvements in these areas are not as extensive as in the two preceding programs[4] and their technological underpinnings are considerably different. However, the SPARTAN-IV augmentation series also introduces many specialized procedures not applied to the previous spartan generations, and the second generation of Mjolnir armor, a standard-issue to all Spartan-IVs, is able to effectively bridge the physiological gap between them and the earlier generations due to its superior physical enhancement. Like the augmentation procedures of the preceding SPARTAN programs, Project ORCHID is sponsored by the Office of Naval Intelligence's Section Three.

    The augmentations for the SPARTAN-IV Programfeature a number of new procedures not used in the preceding programs. Due to the subjects' bodies no longer being in developing stages as well as their lack of genetic requirements, the process must be carefully custom-tailored for each individual.​

    The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) are a special operations capable organization of the UNSC Marine Corps that specializes in orbitally-dropped shock infantry and special warfare tactics. The ODSTs are one of the primary Special Operations units of the United Nations Space Command and are under the supervision of Naval Special Warfare Command

    The ODSTs perform highly specialized, small scale, high-risk operations including:

    - Deep Ground Surveillance or Long Range Reconnaissance: Patrols in small groups, in uniform, usually far behind the enemy lines. While DGS units may direct air or artillery strikes against enemy positions, they strive to be unobserved and have only self-defense, not DA, capability. Groups engaging in surveillance deep behind enemy lines, are commonly known as "Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols" or LRRP's.

    - Direct Action: Short-duration strikes and other small-scale offensive actions conducted as a special operation in hostile, denied, or politically sensitive environments and which employ specialized military capabilities to seize, destroy, capture, exploit, recover, or damage designated targets. Direct action differs from conventional offensive actions in the level of physical and political risk, operational techniques, and the degree of discrimination and precise use of force to achieve specific objectives.

    - Unconventional Warfare: Military and paramilitary operations, normally of long duration, predominantly conducted by indigenous or surrogate forces who are organized, trained, equipped, supported, and directed in varying degrees by an external source. It includes guerrilla warfare and other direct offensive, low visibility, covert, or clandestine operations, as well as the indirect activities of subversion, sabotage, intelligence gathering, escape, and evasion.

    - Counter-Terrorism Operations: The response to terrorist threats and/or acts, both real and imputed.

    - Counter-Contraband Operations: Missions undertaking the recapturing of smuggled/stolen goods.

    - Personnel and Special Equipment Recovery/Capture: The recovery/medical treatment of friendly personnel in combat environments, as well as the capability of capturing high valued individuals and any equipment.​

    By October 2558, a newer variant of the MA5D existed with the "p/n 00118-B" body and the serial number of "007230814". This variant had a removable case at the top that hides a "P/N 16309" rail to attach various attachments onto it. This variant is most often fielded with a Projection sight.

    Silencer: Firing the weapon does not make the user show up on enemy radar. However, walking still gives away the user's position.

    Sound dampener: Increases effective range and reduces firing signature.

    Threat marker: Tracks targeted enemy personnel for a short time.

Personality: Vaiga has been a terror to aliens and human foes alike. As a soldier he is honorable in some sense. He knows honorable conflict is useful but he is cruel to his foes regardless so honor doesn't bind him when life or mission is on the line. He favors terror warfare causing psychological stress and injury with extended battles. Crucifying elite commanders or his closest warriors. Making fear break resolve and allowing easy shots to kill his prey. To those he fights beside he will often treat them as allies but if they get in his way he will see them less and less as a useful soldier and maybe more as bait. Spartans he trusts are few and far between but he will follow a good leader. He just doesn't let cowards live long enough to question the action of running. Through all this though he does have a sense of humor. Often said out of hand and timed to be enjoyable. It seems to be his attempt to bond.


Three Skills: Marksmanship, Terror warfare, Exemplary CQC


Three Flaws: Has a tendency to want to hunt high value targets without orders. Has a morbid habit of claiming trophies and his terror warfare can demoralize his own support troops. Respects few in command unless it is earned. If it isn't he tends to do as he pleases.


Three Traits: Cruel, Patient, Methodical


Bio: With most of his time in the Spartan program covered and buried in black ink Vaiga was one of the few who had excelled at a rather untapped skill. Though he is an extremely skilled marksman he never met the skills that were in some of the others that were his betters. But Vaiga grew up in a cruel home with a brutal town. The fact that his going missing didn't change anything in his home town showed few people cared for others. This lack of empathy made Vaiga resistant to others being close.

After his augmentations he had developed a good sense of reading people. Humans, aliens, all were on the visual reading list. Though the less humanoid they got it was that much harder. Upon his first mission in the fabled armor he lost several friends by a ruthless elite commander. Whether it was planned or just rage Vaiga beat the elite to a bloody pulp, ensuring he still lived he tied the elite to the front of a ghost and forced the boost to overload. Making the collision inside the vehicle bay a burning show. Once his friends were taken he went through killing elites, then jackals, even every single grunt making more of a bloody mess than his last kill. Upon retrieval of Spartan 267 his armor was a deep purple with stars of bright blue. Heads of three elites tied to his belt and the base burning. His tactics at the time were deemed reckless and even wasteful. However in the months to come his presence and handiwork lead to many missions being completed in half the time. The covi soldiers knowing what is coming. And panic setting in.

Though his squad later grew to be of great success the numbers were reduced so they were broken apart to best fit each of their talents. He knew a few went to the headhunters. He went into them as well. But worked alone. His missions always lasting around a month or more were targeting ground bases and breaking troop morale. To this day he has a deep maroon helmet of a zealot who he slew and crucified in front of his base. He wears it strapped to his left shoulder. Though a cruel warrior he was pulled off his assignment once his damage was done. Something about a new mission, and others he had to play nice with.

But then the Reach customization is a bit too limiting for all the pouches I want a bit too lacking of effort probably?

Loadout: Vanguard Created by Misriah Armouries as the antidote to much needed mid to short-range suppressive firepower that the M5 series just can't sustain. The M 739 series is a light machinegun that is 117cm long, 23cm wide, and 31cm in height it weighs roughly 21 pounds. Ordinarily, it fires 7.62 x 51mm FMJ rounds.

However, Vanguard, however, has a 50% larger magazine, increased ammo capacity, and Stabilization Jets. It also fires slightly slower than the standard M739. Firing at only 450 RPM in contrast to other M739s, it features projectiles with proximity-fused high explosive warheads. It has also less recoil and greater accuracy than the standard M739. These high-explosive warheads can shred Mjolnir armor like butter. Near the end of the forestock of the weapon, carved into the polymer-composite material are the words "Outshine Death".

Sworn Alligence The Sworn Allegiance is a heavily modified M6C Magnum side-arm. It fires a12x40mm High-explosive rounds. The M6C/SOCOM variant is a specially issued handgun to the UNSC's special operations units. The M6C/SOCOM variant has an integrated sound suppressor, and muzzle brake. It is the secondary weapon of special forces Orbital Drop Shock Troopers and is used in operations that rely on stealth rather than direct engagements.

In lieu of the KFA-2 sight used on the M6D PDWS, the M6C/SOCOM utilizes the VnSLS/V 6E smart linked 4× scope, enabling the user to eliminate targets at long range while incurring limited recoil due to the integral sound suppressor and compensator. The increase in accuracy by the addition of a muzzle brake reduces the recoil of the gun - this allows for better aiming and more controlled fire. The weapon also has an increased effective range, making it a very formidable weapon when used against lightly armored infantry.

As a skilled marksman, he makes good use of these aspects to tear through unshielded enemies at just about and range. It has a considerably high rate of fire with a long effective range, being able to hit a target accurately at about fifty meters. The M6C/SOCOM is, like its M6C counterpart, weaker than the standard-issue M6G PDWS due to lower efficiency against shielded and heavily armored targets.

The Fearmonger A variant of the M7 SMG, the M7S is equipped with an external flash and SS/M 49 sound suppressor on the barrel along with an under barrel flashlight. To assist Jaeger in target acquisition, the weapon is fitted with a SLS/V 5B smart-linked scope. The muzzle flash is significantly reduced, and firing the weapon gives a barely noticeable sound, increasing stealth applications for the M7S Submachine Gun and increasing accuracy from decreased recoil, making the weapon more efficient at medium-long range. It fires 5×23mm M443 Caseless Full Metal Jacket from a reduced 48-round magazine. Some usage of the M7S sees the SMG employed with a laser sight.

Personality:
Having been orphaned by the Covenant like the rest of the Spartan-III's, Becket holds a strong hostile feeling for alien races, especially for the Covenants he's run into through his missions. While he does not hesitate to express hostility, he seems to hesitate on violent expressions such as gathering trophies of dead enemies. Instead, he prefers to execute "poetic justice" by using their weapons and technology against them. Such execution of "justice" not only includes using their weapons and vehicles as is, but also modifying their gadgets into dangerous improvised explosives and/or booby traps.
Due to his past experience in his home world, Becket holds hatred especially against the Kig-Yar. His traps involving Kig-Yars tend to show unnecessary amount of violence.

Becket tends to be easily attached to "comrades" in his missions. As he goes through life risking engagements with them, he tends to be more expressive of his emotions and more open to conversation with them. Even if the other end of the relationship is reluctant to the befriending, he still considers the friendship valid. "Melodramatic"-Becket tends to get emotionally attached to fireteam members, showing more grief to casualties compared to average Spartans.
"Tunnel vision"-In combat, Becket prefers to move from one objective to another, often putting him in a tight situation. Proper guidance from fireteam leader is advised.
"Landmine go boom"-Becket's tactics tend to involve explosives most of the times, making his specialization inefficient in missions involving stealth.

Bio:
In his younger days, when his home world was under siege by Covenant, Becket watched the planet's defense fall as he and his family found shelter in a safehouse deep in the woods on a mountain. Walls and towers crumbled as Covenant land forces invaded- Revenants, Wraiths, Ghosts, Scarabs, fearsome war machines marched on past the ruins of human civilization. Becket's family managed to stay hidden until the major forces pulled out of the planet, only for his parents to be picked off by a gang of straggler Jackals while they went out to take a look at the situation. Those memories were engraved into Becket's brain, hardly leaving his thoughts for the rest of his life.

Conscripted as a part of the Alpha Company, Becket was pulled out before Operation PROMETHEUS was initiated, later deployed in operations separate from the major Spartan-III ones. He was extracted from his last call when he suffered from extreme stress after the casualties of ODST troopers that accompanied him in the operations. He was put to cryosleep for the time being, ONI taking him under their wing.
Becket was pulled out of cryosleep years later, and deployed onto Reach after given the proper treatment. His last official deployment was at the Fall of Reach, where he was assigned to torch-and-burn operations of military installations. Ever since, he was directed to more under the radar missions.​

No; just weapons like Spartan Laser, Rocket Launcher, Fuel Rod, the Plasma Launcher, etc.

However, since it is listed AS heavy I will say there is a HEAVY variant such as a 76mm variant that's more like a recoilless rifle that as you could expect does a lot more damage - but there is also a 37mm LIGHT MGL that has a 6-shot-revolver-swing out feed system.
