Hm, maybe the fact that people can't really judge you, not like in real life? At least that's the case for me.
Eh... I've actually found the reverse.
In IRL everyone's paranoid of public face, or dealing with a person again later so they keep their opinions to themselves, reserving it for gossip and such.
Online? If someone has a beef with me, I fucking know about it. XD

Note I was raised in a very "Feelings are everything! If something's not nice don't say it!" type of family. So I've grown up around people who I can never get an honest opinion out of.
Though, this goes beyond the family actually. Most people I've met have followed the same ideals, hell the friends I made in High School are a rare exception to that norm.
