I don't care to really get involved in all straw manning and sarcastic bickering going on here.
But I will say this, let's keep the Bible out of this debate.
I mean really, that's a 2000 year old book filled with contradictions, with a vast misunderstanding of the world and promotes barbaric things such as slavery, rape, male superiority etc.
It has no place in discussing laws and how people run a nation. Especially when said law is over a device whose main design/purpose is to harm people (may it be in aggression or self defense).
Edit: Note this was strictly intended to highlight why the Bible shouldn't be used as an argument in a Gun Debate. I have no intention to start or be involved in a religious debate. Any attempts to have a religious debate will be ignored, and possibly reported if hostile enough in nature.
