Abraxas looked down at the team as they were getting in and he noticed something, there wasn't any doctors with them. "This isn't right they are said that one was with them where is he?" Pacing he thought to himself and came to a decision "Dr. I know you don't trust me but my job is to protect until told otherwise by the human counselor now please come with me on this ship." Pulling a rope out he hooked it up to a pole on the roof an threw it down the side of the building "climb onto me so that this goes much faster."
 
Looking on with slight worry as Abraxas paced, pacing was never good. "What si it? What do you see?" She asked walking closer to the soldier. She listened to him speak, yes she didn't completely trust him but so far he had made sure that no harm came to her and the truth was that she would be dead if it wasn't for the super soldier. "O-okay" she said walking closer to him, she was much smaller and fit easily onto his back, she willed herself not to look down at all as they went towards the ground at a fast pace. Once they reached the ground Amy let go of the soldier and immediately rushed towards the team to see if her friends were there.
 
As she ran into the ship Abraxas walked up to mason in a fast pace "where is the other scientist!?" Mason being the type of major that didn't like some freak of nature talking to him so he retorted angrily "hey! I am your superior! You were not there! When a counselor and his paladins come up asking you to hand over the person you are escorting for counsel reason you do it!" The two ran into the drop ship grabbing a seat next to one another. "Looks like they are up to something then mason...we need to find out as much as possible."
 
Sitting down on one of the seats next to Abraxas. For now she felt safest near him. Amy looked at the team her face a mixture of confusion and anger, her friend was not here and no one had said anything yet. Not being the person who liked to sniff around for these kinds of answers she leaned over Abraxas, towards the man she saw talking to him not to long ago. She grabbed his shoulder as hard as she could "Hey! Where are they! What? Didn't do your job right? You said they would be here..." she asked now furious and filled with worry, but that all faded when the shot Abraxas had given her decided to loosed its affect right at that moment. Amy leaned against the super for support but kept her glare on the other guy.
 
Mason looked at dr. Moore with a smirk at the fire she had why wounded "doctor please you need medical attention try to relax. We did our job right but the council had other plans one of your colleagues is safe with them but the other is unknown." Looking to Abraxas he nodded and so he as gently as he could grabbed her securing her leg into a harness "ms. Moore you need to mind your leg do not worry everything will be okay." Walking to the side where the weapon racks were he grabbed a shotgun and put it on his back then he grabbed an assault rifle. After this he stood next to the Dr sneaking her a piece of paper that read (Dr. These men are lying when we land it will not be at dranton it will be in a hangar on the outskirts of dranton. No matter what happens and I mean no matter what stick to me and do not hesitate to kill.)
 
A mix of emotions was crashing over her like waves would in the deep ocean, one part of her felt relief at thinking her friend is save, and the other part was restless saying not to trust these people. She never had much to do with these men, she was a scientist not some order following minion in the military! She scanned over the team that was sitting in the ship, they looked like criminals to her not one of them really passing as innocent-looking in her book.

Her attention was grabbed when the soldier sneaked a her a small piece of paper, she hid behind him to make sure no one saw her reading it. Her eyes widened as she took in the words on the paper, it couldn't be, how did the super know this, wasn't it him that said she would be save here. Even so this far she trusted him more then the men on the ship. And he seemed really serious. She decided to trust him.

Amy gave the soldier a nod and put the letter in her coat pocket, she checked her guns, now and then looking up to make sure that none of the "team" members saw her and realized that they have been found out. She ran the words on the letter through in her mind (do not hesitate to kill) sure Amy could fight, she just never HAD to kill anything, her times out in the field were very limited and when she was out she chose to stay out of trouble's way, she had actually never killed anything, who was to say someone.

She didn't have much more time left as she saw the team starting to stir and get up out of their seats, this must be a sign that they are close to landing, taking a deep breathe the young girl tried to mentally prepare herself for what was to come, and hoped it would not be as bad as the image in her head was.
 
Looking back and forth Abraxas was confused as to what had happened to his team because he had come with mason a long time friend so him being a criminal didn't fit. The doctor would have to test their blood later on, the men started to stand up and walk up to the doctor so Abraxas stood in front of her. "I do not know what you hope to gain from this but I suggest you sit down while the doctor and I leave unharmed." One of the men laughed and said "you soldiers are all the same, a lot of tough talk but easy to take down." Standing perfectly still Abraxas turned to the doctor "you are going to want to get down doctor."

The moment the sentence was finished he stuck his arm out and a grappling hook went into the furthest to left mans chest, pulling him knocking him into the furthest to right the A.I. prompting the "Hostiles detected recommend immediate termination of threats." The imposter posing as mason pulled out a handgun and shot two rounds into abraxas's chest the shields absorbing them he blocked a knife attack breaking the arm shoving the blade into the attackers neck. Pulling out his sidearm with precision shots to the other three he looked to the imposter who was now holding a rocket launcher as he shouted "what does it matter!? You killed my men and I'm next I may as well take you two as well!" Grabbing the doctor Abraxas leaped away from the hull of the ship as the imposter shot and it blew open the ship so it began to spiral out of control.

The imposter was thrown around as the ship span out of control thousands of feet above any surface, Abraxas using this window of opportunity grabs the doctor off of her feet carrying her and leaping out of the ship into a free fall. Making sure the doctors face was buried in his chest and he surrounded her completely Abraxas pointed his back to the ground, landing and bouncing off of the side of a building they crashed through the window of a club. A crater in the floor where the two landed people crowded around as abraxas's arms and legs became limp letting the doctor go."
 
Amy tried her best not to look afraid as one of the men approached the soldier, at that moment she really had no idea what to do, its was all just so damn messed up!

All of a sudden there was fighting again, and she was frozen in place, her leg would not move and she couldn't get up. Fear was rushing in her body, making her shake, she pulled out her gun but her numb shaking body couldn't even hold it, it dropped to the floor.

Everything was happening so fast, before she could even process anything she was grabbed of her feet and into the arms of the super soldier, they were falling and falling fast. She closed her eyes tightly and heard the crash but felt nothing but a harsh thump and her ears were momentarily deaf.
Slowly she opened her eyes as she was let go, trying to regain her senses. But that was forgotten as she saw the soldier "AH! Are you alright" Amy panicked and for the first time in her life had no idea what to do.
 
The crowd began to circle around The two as she panicked 30seconds had passed without any movement from abraxas. A man in the crowd walked up and kneeled down "ms. Are you okay!?" Lightly grabbing her arm as to pull her away from the down soldier.

In abraxas's helmet though his A.I. was trying to speak yo him "17 the dr. Is under a possible threat and your vitals are out initiating auto defibrillator." Right then a shock went through his body making it jolt, sucking in a breath wide eyed Abraxas grabbed the mans are twisting it as he stood. "This individual is under the protection of SR17 this unit request that you step away from her or face charges.

Once the man tried to pull his arm away Abraxas let go "wise decision sir." Then four zip lines were shot in the ground and four marines came down rolling and scanning the area. "Clear! Doctor and 17 are secure and are stable come on in falcon 2-9." The squad lead walked up to Abraxas Laughing "well you sure made a fine mess of yourself 17." The two shook hands with one another with Abraxas saying "where would you be without me to show you how to be impressive?" Turning to the doctor Abraxas gave her a once over and checked her leg "any extensive injuries Dr. Moore?

(I have trouble remembering her name lol)
 
"Hey don't touch me" she gritted out but the man who had grabbed her arm wasn't letting go, she decided to ignore it and turned her head back to the soldier. She jumped back when a jolt was sent through his boy she could see him jump. Then in what seemed like an impossible speed for an injured man Abraxas was right by her forcing the man to let go of her 'How...he...just got up..but how?' She went over the question in her head but no answer came up.

She was going to stop him and ask him what just happened when zip lines were shot down, Amy jumped back and looked on as marines came down 'Where do they all come from' she asked herself, being out in the field sure is not as easy as she thought it would be. She stepped back not sure whether to trust the men, but felt saver when Abraxas shoot the hand of one 'they must be friends then' she thought.

"My leg is fine....you should worry about yourself" Amy said concern in her voice 'I can't believe he would protect me like that, even after I told him that I didn't need it...he almost killed himself' her inner conflict was raging "we should be going then" she said still trying to see if he had any injuries.
 
Looking down at Amy Abraxas smiled "my well being is of no concern doctor" two of the men walked up to her motioning for Amy to board the chopper the one on her left saying "let's move doctor you are needed with the council." Abraxas was speaking to sterling about why he was planted with an enemy team "well 17 we knew we could count on you to secure the doctor while eliminating serious imposters. There is no telling what they would have done with her."

Baking his head Abraxas asked "what of the other scientist fellow?" Sterling said quickly "well luckily a council specter team extracted him without hostiles getting to him. Your imposters were not lying about that." Nodding in agreement the two men walked over to the ship, sterling sitting near the cockpit while Abraxas sat at one of the turrets waiting for the two last men and Amy.
 
So many things had happened in one day that Amy felt like she was living in slow motion, when people spoke to her it took her a while to register what they said, or when she moved it felt so heavy as if something was pulling her back. Feeling just like that she boarded the chopper and practically fell into a seat. She looked at all the men but her eyes stayed on the super the longest, she was grateful to him he saved her and risked all for a scientist he knew nothing of.

Taking a deep breath she sat up and thought of her friend, Mar, she wondered how he was if he was save he was like a father to her and she was going to be able to see him again all thanks to a soldier 'I need to thank him' she thought and looked at the approaching soldier again.
 
The pick up crew took off each man started taking their helmets and masks off taking drinks of water and chatting. Abraxas remaining silent staring straight forward with his hands resting on his lap. Until sterling spoke over them tossing the doctor a water pouch "heads up doc!"
 
Amy was just getting up to go to the soldier when a water pouch was tossed at her "Woah" she just caught the pouch, she nodded a thank you and drank some of the water just then realizing how thirsty she really was. She sat down next to the soldier and looked at her hands "Thank you" she whispered.
 
Looking down upon her turning his head slowly abraxas said in his usual straight tone "think nothing of it young doctor such as my duty and privilege to serve." He was telling the truth, now that mankind was no longer trying to kill itself and they were at the highest possible evolution it was now a privilege to serve the race instead of trying to keep it alive.
 
Amy frowned at the word 'served' did the soldier have no other dreams or purpose. She sat thinking back at the first time she saw a super, she was 6, and they were just found out, they looked different back then more human and dressed to blend in with the marines. "Did you have family" she asked almost to quiet to hear.
 
Hearing Amy ask that question for the first time in over 100,000 years abraxas thought of his mother. Would she be proud of her guardian? Or would she do what she tipically did and point out what could have been done better or ask questions on the reasoning behind the actions. But realizing he had been remaining silent abraxas said "I did, quite some years ago though Dr." The A.I. in his head spoke to Amy "if you would like Dr. Moore you have the clearance to obtain SR17's file for any info you may like. After all, he is your new security." The entire time abraxas stared straight forward with the utmost discipline.

The shuttle came to a landing at the councils security outpost outside of the police station. The doors opened and the men piled out orderly with sterling patting 17's shoulder leaning in "now time for the politics my friend." Said with a mocking smile he stepped off saluting the councilors of each leading species. The kuron councilor walking up shaking sterlings hand "thank you for the safe return of the doctor major sterling, once more your team and super are a cut above the rest." Nodding in appreciation they looked as abraxas stepped off the ship making a noticeable thud with each step appearing like a machine rather than person.
 
Amy at that point wished that she could glare the A.I. Away, and she felt sad, seeing Abraxas sit there just staring straight ahead made her think about everything all at once. Was the technology just ruining lives instead of making them better. This man was now more machine then anything else. "No thank you" she stiffly said back to the A.I. Answering it but more answering herself.

She looked outside and followed the soldier shortly stepping out of the ship, she stood still next to him not sure what to do.
 
The thonton councilor walked up to Amy with a smile on her face while sashaying over to them saying in almost a singing tone "Dr. Moore thank the makers for your safe return to the capital. Please tell me, have you made any progress with what you have been researching? We are eager to hear your findings." Holding up a hand to the councilor abraxas calmly stated "I am to escort the doctor to her quarters to freshen herself madame councilor." Then a sharp change in his voice happened and it seemed like an order "she is to be debriefed by the wolf of old Russia first." The councilor went wyed eyed for a moment but turned to Amy "but of course that is most appropriate from her adventures lately, we will await for her and the other Dr. Tomorrow morning." Taking a small bow she walked back to the others where reporters were.
