When I was on an art program it said you can spell it grey or gray but I though gray looked gay because I am dyslexic so I just spelled it grey to make things easier on myself.

Personally I use both, depending on how I feel about that particular "Grey". If it's a good "Grey" like french grey walls or Grey Fulbuster I use and E, and if it's a bad "Gray", like gloomy gray skys or an ashen gray face, I use A. please don't read anything into that, it's just the way I turned out.
