He squeezed hers and they walked to the car together "you can drive, sweetie"
 
She nodded and got into the driver's seat, gripping the wheel tightly as they drove off.
 
She parked in the hospital parking lot and put the keys shakily in her pocket. "Ready?" she asked.
 
She got out of the car and waited for him.
 
He got out and walked into the surgery, looking around for his doctor who had told him he'd see him here
 
She walked with him. The doctor walked over to them and smiled warmly. "Morning, Josef."
 
"Hello doctor" he smiled nervously "this is my wife, Grace. Grace, this is doctor Humphreys"
 
They shook hands and Humphreys clapped his hands together. "Josef if you'll just follow me, Miss Aikman you can sit here and wait."
 
She smiled weakly at him. "I'll be waiting right here." She sat down in a chair and watched them go.
 
He left with the doctor

The doctor came back "he's asleep, you can come through now"
 
Grace walked over and sat in the chair next to the bed. "He's alright, right?" She asked the doctor.
 
She raised an eyebrow. "You don't seem very confident."
 
"We found something else we had to operate on, he'll need to be aneathesetised for a while" he sighed
 
"What did you find?" she asked worriedly.
