PERSONALITY
You can't wake up, this is not a dream. You're part of a machine, you are not a human being.

|| Active and Energetic ||
Whether she's taking a run, or making a bomb, Viola is always doing something. She's not one to stay in bed all day when she has so much energy to burn. Many of her friends describe her as full of life and 'always exciting to have around'. As a hard-working student and leader of a militia, her high energy comes in handy. Spending her days at school and her nights plotting at The Nest, she's got a full plate.

|| Cheerful and Prideful ||
There's not many times Viola can be caught without a smile on her face. She is always so full of life and enjoyment, it's no wonder many of her classmates look up to her. Of course, they could never guess the reason behind her fulfillment is because of the secret life she's living as The Moth. Viola is very kind to others and to other people seems like a very humble and loving girl. In fact, she is very proud of her accomplishments as The Moth and the fact no one has been able to figure out her identity. This even leads her to want to be even more kind to throw people off. Giving in to her obsession has filled her with happiness and excitement.

|| Clever and Intelligent ||
Even at a young age, Viola was always thought of as a brilliant young girl. And as she got older, she only became more so. Being an inventor, a criminal mastermind, and straight A student takes a level of mental ability that not many people have. Though, that doesn't mean her mind is at all stable.

|| Daring and Impulsive ||
Viola isn't scared of a challenge, in fact she enjoys them. She's always ready to put her knowledge and abilities to the test, sometimes jumping at any opportunity to blow something up. This can sometimes work to her disadvantage, but she has an undeniable fire. This quality has allows her to get into trouble and have misadventures with her school friends. It is also the biggest and most significant difference between the previous Moth and herself. The previous Moth was older, and took the time to do much more in depth planning. However, Viola being a younger light, has a more chaotic nature to her plans. While there is still a significant amount of planning, her operations are usually much more violent.

||Child-like and Immature||
To a degree anyway. While she is a bright girl and takes on an overwhelming amount of responsibility, she still tries to keep herself from aging too fast. She likes to have fun and make jokes. She enjoys piggy back rides, teasing, and making faces. Many times, because of the way she acts and looks, people think she is younger than she actually is, then are shocked to find out she's a college student and a legal adult.

BIOGRAPHY
I think there's a flaw in my code. These voices won't leave me alone.

PART I
Tanner Hemmings was a soldier. Being born into a country that often went to war with neighbors, he grew up readying himself for a battle. And a battle he got. By the time he was 14, he was thrown out into the war zone. His first battle and his first kill. He'd never forget the face of that soldier. He'd gotten close enough to him that he wasn't able to shoot him, but instead had to stab him to protect himself. Blood spat onto his face and hands as the man slouched down onto the dirt ground. As he grew older, he killed many more men, and eventually even became numb to it. His entire life was fighting, battling, surviving, winning. The country began to grow, overtaking more and more land with each battle, building their military. By the time Tanner was 18, he was a hardened soldier and skilled in battle. Suddenly, surviving wasn't enough. He had to make it fun. He began to invent and innovate weapons, specializing in bombs. He worked with scientists and helped create powerful weapons to use against their enemies. And so was his life.

Scouting out a small town one day, Tanner bumped into the beautiful daughter of an inn-keeper. Matilda was what they called her. He didn't have to look at the girl twice to know that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Not terribly long after, the two were wed. Tanner loved Matilda with all his heart, and she shared the same love. The age difference was rather large, Tanner being 45 and Matilda being 29. But their love was strong as ever. It wasn't long until Matilda was heavy with a child.

Meanwhile, Tanner had been continuing his life as a soldier and scientist. The team had been working on a bomb strong enough to wipe out a town and had been testing the weapon of mass destruction. They were reaching the final tests and beginning to prepare for use of the weapon in war. With a baby on the way, and his job making huge leaps, Tanner's life was at its peak.

September 4th, a baby girl was born to Tanner and Matilda Hemmings. The small child was the light of their lives, Tanner had taken a break from his life's work and helped his young wife with their child. Matilda still visited her family every so often in that small town, and she had wanted to come in contact with them and tell them all about her baby. She would be gone for a week, but Tanner would care for their daughter in her absence.
A week passed, yet Matilda didn't return. Tanner decided she might be staying with her family a bit longer. He had no way to talk to her, so he calmed his fears. It wasn't until another week passed he found it unbearable. He decided he'd go to the town and get her himself.
There was a strong musty stench that stung the inside of his nostrils. He was quite far from the town but there was a fence being set up by a group of men. Upon asking what was going on, one of the strange men replied, "You can't go further than this point, you may breathe in some dangerous chemicals from the latest test."

The bomb had been a success. Passing it's final test, there was nothing left of that small town, no bodies or buildings.
Tanner was never quite the same after the tragic loss of his beloved Matilda. He retired his life as a war-hardened soldier. Selling his inventions, he became a wealthy man and retreated to a quiet life. He raised his curious daughter, Viola, on his own. However, because of his state of mind it became difficult. Often times, young Viola was the one who had to take care of him. It seemed her father became more and more sick and she had to help him take his medicines and assist him in other daily activities. Still, Viola loved her father. He was a brilliant man with many stories to tell. He loved to share his stories with her, he was proud of his daughter. He knew she had a brilliant mind like his own, and often felt he could share anything and everything with her. As she got older and more curious, she asked more questions, wanted to know more. And every time, her father answered her, happy to share his knowledge. Viola was his everything.

However, everyday, the loss of Matilda plagued his mind and he couldn't stand living so close to the area in which he lost her. He had heard of a strange city that hung in the clouds, above the earth. If he lived there, surely, he'd be closer to his Matilda.

PART II
He told Viola his dream, to live in the sky. Like any child who has been raised in an area, she didn't want to leave it. But, once she heard his reasoning, she couldn't deny him. Her father always seemed so sad, and whatever would give him happiness, she couldn't deny him.
So they took to the skies. It was quite expensive, but her father didn't seem to worry too much about it. So Viola didn't worry either. Their house was big, bigger than their previous home. Everything was luxurious and shiny. Viola felt like she could be a princess. It wasn't long, however, for things to go bad. That night she could hear her father uncontrollably vomiting and choking in a nearby bathroom. She knew the old man was sick, but she hadn't seen it this bad. Worried, she rang for a doctor.

The motion sickness added to his already existing ailments, they were told that he'd need extra dosages of a special medicine for him to be able to live comfortably in the sky. That was fine. Only that this medicine was outrageous in price, Viola had no idea how they'd pay for monthly dosages and keep their house. But it was her father's dream, and she was determined. They paid for the first monthly dose out of pocket, but she knew that in the next month, they may not have that money.

Viola was like her father. She liked to invent, and like her dad, she liked to invent weapons. Since she was little she'd come up with ideas that she'd show to her dad and ask him to make them for her. However, Tanner only laughed, and instead took her to his workshop and showed her how she, instead, could make it herself. As often as it happened, she began to learn. She made her own hand grenades when she was 7 and continued to learn. At this point, she had learned quite a bit and was able to make bigger more destructive trinkets. Though, Tanner never let her use them. Which always annoyed young Viola. You see, she had a secret that she kept from her father. She loved explosions. She loved the warmth that she felt tickle her face as a fiery cloud erupted, incinerating everything it touched. She was obsessed with that burnt smell, that she often burned her food on purpose. She loved fire. She loved heat. The way it ate everything. The power, the beauty, the magnificence. She loved it. However, her love never really grew. She burned her food, and carried a lighter, occasionally setting a leaf or a paper on fire, but that was all. She never gave into those temptations.

Until the dilemma of money came up. And suddenly, Viola needed cash for medicine, fast…
And her brain began to form a plan...a devious plan, but one she felt she could carry out if she sorted out every detail. Viola was going to rob a bank. She felt guilty about the thought at first, even tried to wipe it from her mind, but it sat in the back of her head, and she often entertained it. Thinking if she was going to rob a bank, what would she do....and the more she planned the more the idea seemed reasonable. She'd only do it one time. Get what she needed for a few years, she wouldn't have to worry about money again. So everyday she made stops at a local bank. She set up a bank account and put in a little more money everyday, giving her a reason to be there and not look suspicious. And everyday she took notes. Who was there and when. What time did the bank close, what was the security, what would she need to do to infiltrate it. And in time, she had a plan figured out.

She set out, late one night. She wore a heavy trench coat and a large hat. Below her trench coat she concealed a case which held her weapons. 10:00 pm, Viola took a bus an hour away to a chain of shops. One by one she stopped by the ones that were open and planted a time bomb in a secret area before leaving. She did this in several areas around. When she was done, she took a different bus back home. She checked her watch occasionally, waiting until 12:00 midnight, when the bombs would go off. One stop away from her destination, the long hand met the short hand on the 12. The plan was set in motion.

She left the bus and continued to walk towards the bank, however stopping a few times. Finally reaching the bank she wasted no time. It was closed so it wasn't difficult to blow the hinge off the door and continue inside. In fact, with her bombs, it was actually very easy to access the money. She took as much as she could handle, stuffing a large sack she had brought and then booking it out of there. She could feel ringing in her ears as her adrenaline kicked in. She needed to hurry. She had law enforcement in that area distracted with the bombings of the other stores, but it could be any minute that someone would see her. Especially after making so much noise. Before leaving she took gasoline tanks that she had left behind the store a day earlier and doused the bank before lighting the building on fire. She left through a back entrance, stuffing the sack underneath her trench coat making it appear as if she were an obese child. The building was glowing like a lantern, the warm heat keeping her there for a second as she watched the beautiful flames eat away at the establishment. It was marvelous...She had never been so proud, so alive...and in that moment, something switched in Viola. The sound of a car made her tear away from her astonishment and walk fast paced down the dim-lighted street.
An eery silence filled the room. Viola lay in her bed, unable to fall asleep. It was pitch black in her room, but she could still see the brilliant flames, crackling and hissing into the night, burning at the front of her mind. She felt a lingering excitement, remembering the rush and the adrenaline that filled her in those short moments. It was something she'd never felt to that degree before, and she was addicted. She needed more, she needed to be in that state again.

The temptation had been lit inside her. More and more, Viola caught more things on fire. They were items that were harmless, but consumed her needs. She began inventing more destructive bombs, and the need to test them led her to experimenting around town. Of course she did all this in secret. She often told her father that she was going to school when she was was actually out testing her new inventions. Her grades didn't suffer too much, she was often absent but she kept up with her work. She was actually quite popular at school, she had a stable group of friends she hung out with and got along with generally everyone. No one knew about her secret obsession and life as a pyromaniac. On the outside, she seemed like any normal high school girl.

However, her passions began to grow darker and deeper. She began to sell her weapons to third parties, and started developing her own slot for destructive explosives within the black market. She found more people like herself, with unhealthy obsessions and taste for destruction. She hooked onto a terrorist group named "The Nest" that was set on ridding the Gold City of "corruption" through the means of violence. She equipped them with new explosions and when she was able, even joined them on their missions, starting raids at public events and causing havoc in the Sky. The group was rather large, however the leader took a liking to the young spark that was Viola. It wasn't long until she knew the ins and outs of their formation and goals. She helped formulate strategies and attended events. 'Freedom from corruption' they paraded, gassing people on the street. The Inquisition would always arrive to arrest the group, and while many were arrested, they had yet to reach the upper ring of the cult. Viola was the best strategist and inventor The Nest had, even excelling past the leader. She was a fast learner, a brilliant mind, like her father. Everything her father had taught her she used in her war against corruption. When the Leader was arrested and found to have killed himself in his cell, Viola took his place as The Moth. No one knew what the girl's face looked like, since she always wore a gas mask, but she was known to be a petite female.
Viola kept up her studies. Continuing onto college and hanging out with friends from school from time to time. She led two different lives completely. She had more than enough money to secure her dad's medicine for a few years, and she seemed like a happy young adult by everyone who knew her. Then there was The Moth. Attracted to all that burned and incinerated, she led the largest terrorist group on her arm. Fighting for equality. She fought for her father, she fought for the former Moth. But even after all that, she would do it anyway. Even with nothing to fight for. It was fun. Everyday was a fire.

RESIDENCY || THE SKY
"Let's go to the sky. Far from the earth, we'll soar like birds!"

Or so her father said to her. His excitement shining bright into his old worn eyes. Moving to the other side of the globe is never easy for any child, but Viola couldn't fight her father when he had so much hope for a new life there. The Golden City was everything from a young girl's dream. While it took a while to navigate, she took mental pictures and mapped out the city for her own knowledge, which became very useful later. She currently attends college happily and lives with her dad in a large luxurious house.

OCCUPATION
"Some call me a terrorist, I prefer the term 'artist'."

Viola is the secretive leader of a large terrorist group called "The Nest". Fighting against corruption, the group branches out to the Land and Sky. Often times, members that are taken to prison contain very elusive yet destructive bombs on them that they set off while being arrested or in their cells. The nature of the group is very chaotic, which makes them instill an underlying fear into the citizens of the Golden City.

RELATIONSHIPS

Tanner Hemmings || Father
She loves her father like he were her best friend. Since she was young he kept by her side and raised her to the best of his ability. His mind had gone quite a bit, so in turn she took care of him as well. Her father was a sickly man, but it was clear that he was once strong. He hadn't become frail, but war had taken it's toll on him, and with the loss of his wife, he only sunk deeper into depression. Everything Viola did was for him, and vice-versa.

School Friends
Viola had many friends when she was in school. She hung around girls her age, attended sleep overs and gossiped like girls do. She has kept in touch with a few, even attending college with her closer friends from high school. No one knew about her addiction, since she did a very good job of hiding it. Not even her close friends would suspect her as The Moth.

(If you're interested, pm me for a relationship!)

OTHER
(will add as I go on)

APPEARANCE
Standing at a short 4'11, Viola has a young fresh face, only spotted by a few freckles on her cheeks. She might be small in stature, but she isn't weak by any means. She has a toned body and is very physically fit. Her eyes are a bright magenta that can appear red in the right lighting. She sports her rosey pink hair in a short pixie cut, and over all is an attractive young girl.

Being a student, she's mostly seen in her school uniform. She doesn't have any specific style, she likes to dress in a little bit of anything. She dresses how she feels. However, her father likes to see her wear dresses, so often times at home she will wear dresses and things of that like.
