Kaitlyn observed the match between the large lizard man and the decidedly normal man, the match between the normal man and the electric man, and the match between the unusually tall man and the equally as table but significantly more bulky man. Based purely off of what she said, nothing seemed particularly... impressive, really. Of course, she could tell that the big bulky man and the lizard were both likely a lot stronger than what they had demonstrated, because both matches were won effortlessly. But it was impossible to know exactly how powerful they were, of course. Maybe - no, hopefully - they would surprise.
But, now it was her turn to fight. Her opponent was Eve, and when she stepped onto the ring she saw that it was a woman slightly older than her in a blue dress and heels. Well, she must have been quite cocky, otherwise she wouldn't be wearing such expensive clothing. And she had not a scuff anywhere on her... A normal person couldn't possibly be that skilled, could they? No, she had to have some kind of powers. Perhaps psychic abilities, like that little boy.
She set her jaw and frowned at the battleground; chunks of concrete were missing, rubble was scattered about. A misstep would not be good, even if she was extremely powerful, and especially because she wasn't aware of this opponents' power. She gazed back to Eve, finding the woman's analytical eyes looking Kaitlyn over, trying to figure out how best to deal with her. And then, the announcer's voice rang out above the low rumble of the crowd.
"For our third round, both our opponents both have the power to literally blow their competition away! Our first contestant is Kaitlyn, whose strength is of such a degree that one step has blown all her opponents out of the ring! And her opponent is the master of the air itself, whose gale-force winds sends her foes flying!" The crowd roared, although not quite as much as with the other matches. But Kaitlyn didn't particularly mind. All that mattered was how fun this match was. Of course, with gale-force winds, she'd have to be a bit careful.
"Begin!"
As soon as the 'n' of the announcer's utterance ended, the match was over.
The crowd fell immediately silent, stunned. It was quite clear that before the announcer had finished speaking, Kaitlyn had not moved a single muscle. Yet, in an instant following the word "begin," Eve was embedded in the wall and Kaitlyn was standing where she had once been. A large chunk of concrete had been ripped from the platform where Kaitlyn's right foot had previously been, with no trace but a puff of dust and some tiny debris, and concrete had been ripped from the ground beneath Kait's boots.
And all the rubble had been seemingly been blasted off of the platform immediately following Kaitlyn's attack.
A low murmur slowly rose from the crowd, as Kaitlyn grimaced and stepped off the platform, calm and unfazed and irritated. Those few who actually saw what was going on had seen quite a sight for something from a mortal. From a standing position, she had launched forward at slightly over four hundred miles an hour, stopped herself just before Eve, and thrust her palm into the woman's belly as lightly as she could. Her speed had carried her forward a bit, putting her essentially in the same spot as her foe. Eve, to her credit, wasn't immediately unconscious from the blow, but she was rather lucky to survive her impact with the wall.
The stunning match drew no applause from the crowd, who had suddenly become rather terrified. Or, if not terrified, a little scared. Though, Kaitlyn didn't particularly care. She was too busy fuming, upset at Toby for tricking her into participating in a tournament that far too easy.
