Jade is a person of many wonders. She is a hard worker and trained witch. She doesn't care much for other people's opinions nor their attitudes. Jade hales from a ancient line of all powerful witches (tracing back to Hacate, Greek goddess of all things witchcraft, meaning she is her grandchild), allowing her to tape into the powers of the Earth. Her family is very secretive and even hides things from her. Discovering her powers at the age of ten, put her through a disturbing time. Though magic runs in her family, Jades first few attempts resulted in tragedy. One morning Jade was practicing fire throwing, a skill only her grandfather and her possess, but things began to get out of hand and she set fire to her family home, killing her older sister Sophia. This leading to years of being shut out by most of her family except her grandfather. Finding salvation in him and her closest friend, Evan and Alexiana, she was able to move passed her heartache; growing her powers into some of the most powerful her family has ever seen.

There is a lot to say about Evan. He is a free spirited guy, and goes where ever the wind takes him. He is a loving and caring guy and stands by his friends no matter what. He is the kind of guy that will take the wrap for your mistakes. He does not scare easy and he hates people who believe they are better than him.

Evan is not a pure breed Phoenix, but what he lacks in purity he makes up in strength. Evan belongs to an organization called The Protectors of the sun, There are 9 phoenix creatures who belong to it, including him. He is the youngest of his kind and will live for almost 1400 years, unless he meets a untimely death. He has not mastered his shift nor his abilities. Growing up he was an outcast because he could never find someone of his kind, but his fraternal twin brother Declan has always had his back. Evan and Declan share a special bond that can connect them together, due to this it landed Evan in the hospital last year. Declan had had an accident, with which Evan absorbed his injuries and put him in a coma for several weeks. Evan truly cares for his brother and seeing him in pain, he couldn't take it and decided to take the pain on for Declan. Though their brotherly bond is strong, they still go head to head on stupid matters of disagreement.
Side note: Some times his temper gets the best of him, and he can burst into flames. He kind of goes into this kind of spiritual state where he is not conscious to realize what he is doing.
Lately he really feels alone, ever since he made a huge mistake that he wishes he could take back. People started treating him different because of it and remind him almost everyday about it. His own brother seems to treat him differently and that seriously drains him because of them being connected. The only one that doesn't is his cousin Jade.

Don't think just cause he is a genie that he will do whatever you ask of him; he needs to see the money first before that happens. Keaton belongs to one of the original Genie families, the Mystics. Keaton is the forth son, Eighth child out of nine. For a while his family was bound to a ruler in the Middle East, and he wasn't fond of it. Day in and Day out, his powers were used to destroy his rulers enemies and kill those who questioned him. Keaton didn't mind killing, those who did great wrong, but he hated being abused for his powers. His family told him to follow orders, that if one was to go against their ruler than all of them would die. Keaton listened...at first. During a time of great triumph for his ruler, Keaton planned his escape. First he needed to get his ruler drunk enough to free him, or his plan would never work. Through out the night, Keaton slipped alcohol into the non-alcoholic drinks, extra in the alcoholic drinks, and added a little boost with his powers. After a while, he saw his ruler being consciously unconscious, allowing for him to make stupid decision. Keaton guided him to a back room, and had him verbally release him permanently. Afterwards, Keaton ran. He grabbed his bag and ran, catching the first flight anywhere. At first, Keaton, traveled the globe, going to Madagascar, Australia, and than when he came across America he felt at home. Looking around he figured it be time to do something that non of his family had done, go to school. He had a worlds knowledge, but he never experienced school. When he found Ghost Isle, a school with Human and Supernatural mix, he signed himself up. Though from time to time he finds himself wondering about his family in the Middle East.

Bailey is slightly depressed, though she doesn't show it right away. Once you talk to her you will realize that she puts herself down a lot but she is very kind and a total sweetheart to others. Although she is very shy and reserved, Bailey does have a few friends that she oepns up to and once you have her trust and loose it, it will be hard to gain it back.
History

Bailey was dumped on the side of the road as a baby when she was born with many problems. Not only was she born super early and had heart problems, she was born with her heart literally outside of her body. After the doctors fixed her, her mother and father abandoned her on an abandoned road and left her to die. Thankfully a teenage guy who was on his way to his friend's house for a party saw her on the side of the road and rushed her into town. When they decided to put her into an orphanage, the young man decided that he would take her for his own. He wasn't ready to be a parent, but it was better that making the girl live in a foster home.So the guy signed the papers and adopted the little girl. They lived together and traveled around the country together and lived life to the fullest, considering themselves as siblings. When they were in the mountains camping, Bailey's brother, Mark, left to go hunt down fire wood while Bailey worked on getting dinner ready. That was when she heard her brothers screams. When she finally found him, his body was bloody and he wasn't breathing. Then she was bitten and left to die, but somehow, she didn't.She survived and woke up the next morning, thirsting for blood. And that was when she became a vampire.

Kylin was born as the second oldest child in his family out of six. He had a great childhood, that is partly who he is so happy today. No matter how tough things got or how tight their money was, his parents always supported him and his sibling's decisions and choices. They always made sure that they were supported and helped them in any ways that they could. When Kylin was five, his eolder brother was seven and died in a hit in run when the two were outside playing.Watching his brother die, Kyling was traumatized and didn't speak for a long time due to his brother and best friend dying. When he finally started to get back into the grooze and move on, he was diagnosed wiht leukemia at the age of seven. It was then that he began to fight and fight, doing whatever he could to stay alive and live what his brother didn't get to. Eventually, after five years of fighting, Kylin beat cancer at the age of twelve.Kylin then began to look at life as something more than just the days ticking by. He began to actually live his life and ever since, there hasn't been a day without a smile on his face. He doesn't take things for granted and he grew closer to his family who supported him with his illness and through recovery they helped him get back to reality. When he picked up his dream of becoming a doctor and playing instruments, they supported him more than ever and made sure he always felt loved and wanted.

She does what she wants and if you don't like it, she expects you to get over it. Basically, she lives her life the way she wants to. When people find out that she in an angel, they often make fun of her and think that there is no way. It's not that Em is bad, she just doesn't want her life to be based on what others want. She lives it how she wants it and is makes her happy. That's what she cares about. Although she loves being happy, she does and would sacrafice anything to make others happen, she just refuses to change who she is for other people's benefit. She is very sweet and kind. She is a horrible liar, so she will always be honest but she is loyal. She is trustworthy and if you give her your secrets to hold, they will stay between you and her. She would never hurt a soul and would risk hers for even the tiniest of bugs if she needed to. She is sometimes see as badass and as very overwhelming when you first meet her, but it wears off after you actually get to know who she is. [BCOLOR=#000000]Emma was immeditaly put into foster care the day after she was born because her parents didn't think they were mature enough or ready for two children. She went in and out many different foster homes with her brother, but none of them ever stuck. Each of the paretnts found something odd about having her there, not that she was a bad child. She got great grades, made friends easily, always listened, and barely ever got into trouble. She didn't realize that when she slept though.. that she had a glow coming from her.[/BCOLOR]

She didn't know what was wrong with her, but eventually she adjusted to the things that she found.... different about her.After missing her chance to be adopted because of her differences, the girl grew up in the orphanage causing any trouble she could. She didn't try to cause trouble, she just tried to hvae fun.. and ended up in a mess.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Despite this, the girl grew up and made many new friends and found new ways to have fun. She always felt abandoned and a little alone, but she didn't show it. She lives her life to please everyone else, making her very sad when she is alone. This makes her anxious and worried because no matter where she goes, she is afraid that she is not good enough. She is a very kind and loving person. She is very loyal to her friends and fmamily, but she doesn't know how to express herself. In a way, she is shy, but she doesn't come off in that way. She is just shy when people start to pick away at her layers and see who she really is. Overall, she is the type of girl who comes up to everyone and tries to make frineds. She doesn't care about what someone looks like or if they are the oppoistire if her, she tries to befriend everyone. This makes her come off as annoying to some, but she is still the person that most people go to for adice.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Cassandra grew up on a farm with her grandparent. They taught her to play in the mud and to have fun, but somewhere along the line, her world was flipped upside down. This happened when she was fifteen and got in a car accident. Th accident should have killed her, but she survived, with exceptions. She lost the majority of her memory. Not the bog parts like how to talk and read, but where she lived, the small things that happened, they were all thrown away and she couldn't reach them.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]It was then that she actually started to change. She became more of the city people than the town people. She felt rejected by god or whoever had done that horrible thing to her, and she wanted to just give up. But instead she jsut changed everything. If she couldn't have her old life back, she would start over and make this one differnt so that wouldn't happen. Aside from the many things in her life changing, Cassandra survived the switch and the entire accident. So did hr family. Her grandparents and her stayed just as close as before...Ever since then she has had a pretty normal life. She always tried her best and wanted to make a lot of frends to make up for the ones she couldn't remember.[/BCOLOR]

Josh is a very.. interesting guy. He is very tempered, you definitely don't want to be on the wrong side of him, especially when he is angry. He is very brave and forward, and he stands up for what he believes in. The number one thing he has in common with his sister is her courage and her stubborness. He is one of the most stubborn men alive and he thinks that his way is the only way. He is very caring on the inside, though not many people know this because he pushes others away. He has a huge heart and he would risk his life for others. He is very protective, especially over his sister. He never likes seeing her hurt, meaning that he will definitely glare at any guy who takes an interest in her and have a little talk with them. He usues his strength to his advantage, making him manipulative. He is very protective and jealous like. If something is his or he cares about it or them, he will make it clear. He comes off as the bad boy who doesn't hvae feelings, but he really does. His whole life he has felt like a loser and bad guy so he doesn't like to act nice. He fits into what others see him as.
History
Much like his sister, Josh grew up in an orphanage. They were moved in and out of different foster homes, but none of them ever stuck. Not only did his sister glow when she slept, but he was different also. No one could explain it. He was soon diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, though he tried ignoring the labels. He knew his sister felt alone, so he stepped up and he took the male figure role in her life.

He tried to set good examples, but he got tired of being the adult all the time nad got into some trouble when he was older. That was when he realized that he would get angry about everything. This scared him, but because of this he didn't want anyone to know, so instead he became closed up. Him and his sister grew close and are still close still today, but unfortunately it has been a tough run for them and he doesn't let anyone walk over them. He protects his sister more than anything else and he absolutley despises his parents.

He comes off as a jerk sometimes because he is not afraid to speak his mind and tell the truth. He is the guy that says the things that everyone is too afraid to say, and he says them proudly. He doesn't have the best of tempers, but he doesn't just blow up over things. You have to really do something big to make him angry, but when you do.. Boy, you better run. Despite this, Chris is an amazing and loyal friend. He is very protective and he cares a lot, sometimes causing him to end up hurt. He will always protect his friends until they loose his trust, and then it is nearly impossible to gain it back. When he is in a relationship, he is faithful and treats them like a princess, but when he is not in one and he doesn't like anyone, he flirts with anyone. When he likes someone he may flirt with others, though when in a relationship he would never do that. he is very loyal despite how he comes off. When he was five he lived with hsi mother and father, but after his father ran away, it was just him, his mom, and his little sister. So he stepped up and became the man of the house. Because of this he had to mature quickly, but he didn't mind. He wanted to protect his family and if that was all he had to do, he would do it. He is very much a family man.[/BCOLOR]

At first it started off simple and small, but the more problems that occured, especially with money, the mre stressed she got, leading her to drink more and more. When he was twelve he found out that his mom was selling herself for money for the house, so he told her to stop and he began a job to help with the bills. He even stopped eating school lunches and would find something for his sister to take. Eventually, he got his mother's life back on track.[/BCOLOR]

. Ethan is very carefree, feeling that life should be lived to the fullest. He does not want to miss out on a single thing life has to offer, good or bad. He is extremely confident in who he is, which at times can make him seem very self-centered. He is stubborn, so it is unlikely that he will ever change his mind once it is set. He can also be impulsive and reckless, often an bad combination. This is especially true when he is in a bad mood, because then his actions reflect his emotions. Ethan is a pampered and high-maintenance young man, and he is fully aware of it. He expects the best, and nothing but the best. He has a natural charm about him, and has a bountiful amount of tact. Thanks to his tactful nature he is often seen as someone who can be trusted, and this also helps to make him persuasive. While he is fairly smug, he is also a very dedicated and driven person. He is savvy and sophisticated, giving him a very professional appearance to those who do not know him personally. Ethan is very critical, which can sometimes make him a downer, but he is also very steady and faithful. Ethan spent a lot of time trying to figure out who he was. He was an athlete for a few years, and then a dancer, and then an artist, and then a musician. His parents often had trouble keeping up with his constant interest changes, and it didn't help that this lasted for several years. It wasn't until he was fourteen that he tried out for a school musical and discovered his true passion: Acting. This didn't come as a surprise to anyone around him, as he had always been a great liar. They were just happy he had settled on one thing. Coincidentally, his several interest switches throughout the yearr made it easy for him to portray many characters accurately.

He joined a local acting club, playing the lead for several of the shows they put on. Ethan gradually became a very confident person, sometimes overpoweringly so. Because his parent's were worried that he would become selfish and a jerk they forced him to begin doing community service on the weekends. At first he hated it, but he soon grew to love helping out the less fortunate and began to do it on his own. However, he kept this a secret from everyone but his family. Ethan worried that if everyone knew he willingly helped out the needy they would try to take advantage of him.

Juggling acting, school, work and community service proved to be extremely difficult. Ethan got through it all by taking on different personalities while dong different things- it helped him pretend that the responsibilities of his other persona's were not entirely his own. This, of course, led to an extreme identity crisis in his late teenage years. He had no idea who he really was anymore, no idea who he wanted to be. After deciding that picking one person to be was too hard, Ethan called up his closest friend, Chloe, asking for help. He was rather drunk, and so what he was saying didn't make any sense. Worried, she called Ethan's parents, and the very next day they began looking for a therapist. They soon found one put him through therapy.

A few months into his therapy he was at a session, when he pricked his finger. His therapist suddenly took on a entirely different attitude, and before Ethan could even react he was being bitten, and he ended up passing out from shock. When he woke up his therapist explained he was a vampire, and he hadn't drank blood in a while. He also explained to Ethan that he had accidentally turned him into a vampire as well. After the initial panic Ethan was able to calm down, and agreed that he should be sent somewhere to learn how to control himself. He and his therapist heavily insisted to his parents that he needed to go to a boarding school, and that's how he got sent to Ghost Isle Boarding School.

Weaknesses- It's no secret that Ethan is a impatient and selfish young man. Although he is strong he is not flexible, physically or mentally. His arrogance mixed with his lack of creativity makes him very easily distracted, especially when in the presence of people he does not particularly like. Ethan never learned how to swim, and now that he is tall enough to touch the bottom of the pool in most parts he see's no reason to learn. He also cannot not cook, clean (correctly, anyways), or watch children. Seriously, do not leave your baby with this boy .

. Most people describe Katherine as bad kid with a bad temper. She's rebellious, because she does not like to be told what she can and cannot do, and tends to act impulsively. Often, people judge her before actually talking to her, based on her bad reputation. Sadly, she can't deny any of the rumors. She does throw a punch before asking any questions. She does run her mouth before thinking about the words coming out of it. But, this is mainly because she knows she won't be accepted, so she doesn't even bother to try. Those who really know her will tell you that she's actually a deep and loving young lady, when she wants to be. Kat is naturally protective of everyone, but is even more so of the people she does not know, because she feels like everyone deserves someone who will stand up for them. Katherine is actually a very damaged individual, which is why she cares so deeply about others. Most people don't realize this, but the best way to get to know her is through her art. She puts a piece of herself into everything she creates, and is very sentimental. She's outspoken and opinionated, and is more judgmental than she'd like to admit. Understandably, Kat is a guarded and secretive girl who often gives off the mysterious vibe .

Katherine's story started out tragic. Before her, her mother had lost a child, and so it was actually unexpected that Katherine would make it. One would think that the miracle of her birth would be a happy one, but this was not the case. Years before Katherine's mother had been raped... and so she had been hoping for a boy, so her child would not have the chance of suffering through the same experience. Her logic was flawed, obviously. To make matters worse Katherine's mother was killed by a vampire shortly after she learned how to walk.

The death of her mother hit Katherine's family hard, both emotionally and financially. Her father struggled with the bills for several months before their house was foreclosed on and he and his toddler daughter were forced to move into a small apartment. He was in law school, but it would be a long time until all his hard work would actually start paying off. In the meantime, Katherines grandmother sent the two of them checks in the mail, as well as sent presents for her birthday and Christmas. But, the presents were always necessities: clothes, shoes, notebooks. One year her grandmother sent a pack of colored pencils... which was when 9-year-old Katherine discovered her artistic talent. She treasured the pencils, and took extra careful care of them.

Shortly after this ninth birthday Katherine learned what else her father was: A hunter. She had always thought her mother died of illness, and so discovering a vampire killed her was hard to take in. Katherine soon started training to be a hunter with her father, and became good much quicker than he could have hoped for. She even grew to be passionate about it.

Growing up Katherine was always labeled as a bad kid. She was often sent to the principles office for 'disruptive behavior', and her reputation followed her to whatever school she went. This caused most teachers to have a bad mindset about her before they even met her, so Kat didn't ever stand a chance. This really how she got into street art... by the time she hit high school her and her father were better off. In the city there were places you could buy a spot on a wall to paint, like legal graffiti. This became her usual birthday present, her area was always expanding. She made friends with many of the other 'bad kids' who sought refuge there, and with their help she found confidence in herself.

When Katherine's father heard of Ghost Isle Boarding School he decided he wanted her to go there. He was gearing up for a hunt that would take him out of the country, so he needed a place for her to stay. Plus, at the academy she could watch supernatural beings up close and possibly learn new weaknesses. Katherine agreed to going because of this.

Talents- Other than making art, Katherine has always been a great liar. She's also very good at taking pictures, even though it is her least favorite form of art, and makes decisions easily. She can also cry on command, if that counts as a real talent .

. Strengths- Katherine has a great eye for detail, which is perhaps why she is such a good artist. She's good with her hands and can multi-task. She is also light on her feet, making her able to sprint short distances.
Weaknesses- Katherine is not flexible, and her temper can make her hard to work with. She's naturally rebellious and does not respond well to authority. She is physically weak, and can't do any heavy lifting. Katherine cannot swim, and she can't sing to save her life. She's horrible with kids, and has no maternal instinct, since she never had a motherly figure. She's a slow reader, and can't play any instruments. Lastly, Kat has little control over herself... so if she is pushed she lashes out.

. Mattaline is very much a 'Party-Girl' and a 'Take-No-Shit' girl all at once. She is not afraid to get in someones face, or stand up for what she believes in. Confidence is in an abundance with her, as is a sense of humor and acceptance. As long as you treat her with respect and do not offend her close friends, it is likely that Matty will be exceptionally nice to you. She's not judgmental at all, so anyone can be their freaky-selves around her. As she always says, 'All of us are weird, some just choose to hide it.' She's very much a fun person to be around, so long as you don't mind loud people. However, if you offend her or one of her friends, she tends to have loose-lips. Along with her quick-witt comes the ability for her to think of horrible insults on the spot. She can be a major bitch, if you push her to the point. But, with how naturally easy-going Matty is, it's hard to ever see this side of her. Because Mattaline lives to have fun, she tends to be immature, impulsive, and reckless. Mattaline was born into a family that was very well off financially. She's always attended prestigious private schools, and except for her elementary school she's only attended all-girls schools. Most people would believe this to make Matty a very proper young lady, but it's quite the contrary. She often found that she didn't fit in with most of the girls she went to school with, and felt like she was putting on an act most of her life. Actually, only when she was home was she truly ever herself, which was why she never invited anyone over until she was fifteen. Up until that point she spent most of her time with her parents who, despite sending her to private schools, were actually very proud that they had raised such a unique and outgoing young girl.

When she turned 15 she was invited to a High school party by a boy in a local coffee shop. She hadn't even planned on going until her mom found out about it, and took her shopping for some actual party clothes. Matty invited some of her friends, but they politely declined because, "The only party worth attending is a tea party." She went, and found that she fit in with the average teenager more than she did with the proper teenager. She quickly became friends with several people from other schools, and attended any party she could.

One night she bummed a ride from one of her drunk friends, thinking that her home was only a few miles away. Sadly, they crashed, and Mattaline was killed on impact. She had died so suddenly and so young that her soul did not know what to do. for a while she was a ghost, which caused her to become slightly twisted and corrupt. This is the reason that when she moved on she was sent to Hell instead of Heaven, where her soul was tortured until she became a demon. Once she became a demon she was allowed to go back to earth. She found a young girl who was about the same age as she was when she died, who was also dying for a reason unknown to Mattaline.

Mattaline watched the young girl until she died in the hospital, and waited for the weeping family members and doctors to leave. As soon as the coast was clear Mattaline possessed the young dead female, who she now refers to as her 'Meat Suit.' She then teleported out of the hospital and enlisted in Ghost Isle Boarding School.[/spoili]

Talents- Mattaline has always been a great dancer, and when she was young she and her mother took classes together. She also is very good at styling hair, though you couldn't tell by looking at her because most days she doesn't even brush her own. She also took Karate when she was younger, and went all the way up to a black belt. She can surf, and is actually surprisingly organized. Lastly, Matty is very tech-savvy .

. Strengths- Mattaline is a good actress and liar, which helps when she needs to get out of a sticky situation. Additionally, she can usually tell when other people are lying. She is strong and can run fast, has great aim and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty.
Weaknesses- Mattaline tends to get overly competitive. She has a horrible temper and cannot deal with loss of any kind. Mattaline has Claustrophobia, and get lonely faster than most people. This will cause her to seek company, even if said company is not exactly the 'right crowd.' Mattaline has always had trouble spelling and doing math, and so she's always had a tutor for both. She cannot skateboard, even though she's tried, and has no artistic ability.

. Mattaline isn't afraid of much, which is the main reason she is fun to be around. However, she is afraid of bugs, Medicine and ESPECIALLY Hunters .
