Getting updates for Rp's I'm not even apart of?

Ok, so this has been going on for a while now, and I held off bringing it up because I thought the update would fix it.

The issue is this: I keep getting alerts for roleplays and people I have had no contact with and do not know. At first I thought that I was being linked somehow. But they don't ever mention my name. I'm not even watching the threads to begin with. Secondly they are all "Just Started" roleplays.

Is there any way I can get this fixed?
 
Is it possible you're watching the forum these threads are being posted in? You could have accidentally watched it without even realizing it, especially if these threads are coming from a specific genre or roleplay category [group/1x1/chat roleplay]. But if you're recieving alerts when users post in these threads and not just posting these threads then that's a whole other issue entirely.
 
I think, I did indeed accidently select Watch Forum. I've un-selectected it and I'll see if that works.
